After looking at the photos I realised you could still get the relevant info to work out the coords for GZ. So geokid and I carried on and started the hunt. After bypassing an obvious spot because he was too chicken to look in there we came back to it a couple of minutes later. Sure enough I found a nice sized container which he happily sifted through for swaps. I'll delete my DNF on the computer later. Thanks for the cache!!
A new fence has been erected that makes this cache nigh on impossible to find. WPT 1 is now behind a high fence.
I was after multis and when I saw this one I was wondering why it hadn't been found for a few months. Once I got to WP1 I think I realised why. A brand new fence has been erected, in front of the plaque. You can still access it, but you'd have to go into what now appears to be somebodies front yard. I didn't feel like doing that, so I hopped back in the car for greener pastures. TFTC.
Found with BJ after the event at the You Yangs

Great multi with an intersting piece of history on the plaque. Maths done ad off to GZ where we found this cache in its good hiding spot.
TFTC vp4 and giving us a chance to do this interesting multi.

A quick multi. At GZ, quiet1_au made me reach in ... luckily there were no inhabitants. Found in the company of quiet1_au. TFTC
lochb and I were able to collect the information at WP1 quickly gathered at WP1 and after doing the maths we were soon off to GZ where lochb did the honours of retrieving the cache (with a joking "hiss" from me earning me some well-deserved scorn ) TFTC
Out caching around the Geelong and Lara areas finding some caches that we hadn't got to yet, this one popped up on our list. We pulled up at the starting co ords, no sign of farmers around - all good. A quick check of the plaque to grab the numbers, some maths and GZ appeared to be 3.5km away. Hang on, that can't be right... re-check numbers, yep, that's fine. Re-check maths, yep, fine there. No... hang on, need to add those together, not subtract them. New GZ coords - 70 ish meters away. Much better.
Off I went and there it was. A bit of stealth now required, farmers have turned up. Wait a bit, they're not looking... log signed, cache replaced. Now quick, get out of here before we attract any more attention! Thanks vp4 for the cache.

Find #376
Was down this way picking up the puzzle time series so this was a logical find once I was done there. I was out on the bike with the car back with Tarbit and Geobaby at Serendip Sanctuary. I had to ride the bike back a few kms to this one into the teeth of a head wind which wasn't a whole lot of fun. When I got to the spot to collect the info I was huffing and puffing. It didn't affect my maths skills fortunately and I was able to get the numbers and make the required calculations. From there it didn't take me too long to get to GZ and the cache was soon in hand. TNLNSL and visited the Tractor TB. Thanks for the cache vp4 and for showing me the history of this place.

Travelling down from the You Yangs to a Geelong August event, thought this one looked like fun to try. Interesting snippet of local history. Nice quick multi and find. TFTC.
We were in Lara looking for some caches and thought this one was looking good, when we arrived at GZ we noticed that we had already done this one some time ago and forgot to log it opps, Thanks for the cache vp4 but sorry about the late log.
Took way too long to do this as wasnt sure how many numbers to subtract lol. Soon worked it out after half hr. Tftc tonight
After the daring escape from the prison we had sometime to kill before we had to go back so we ventured out to do some caching the you yang where the first target but with time restrains and once again horrible weather forming plan b was also quite the adventure thanks (found with stooy)
TFTC! Nice little place and history:) farmer muggle came out to repair fence while we read the plaque lol
Gotta respect the history , Tftc placed log books in a new zip lock bag as the old one was holy
Took me a bit to work out what I had done wrong...Doh! Look at the equations closer!! TFTC
Out on a day with alchey & Little Pinky to collect Lara Puzzles series + some other puzzles & multis in the area.
I knew this was here waaay back in my meter reading days. A great little multi and hide.
Thanks vp4 for the hunt

Ashleigh.Green and I headed out for a night of caching in little river / Lara area and ended up getting eight more smiles on the map, prefect timing with great sunset and get caching weather.
This cache just added to our night trip, out and about.
Thanks for your cache, and hope to see more great caches out and about.

Found with Trailrunning on another Monday caching adventure, We were both had time off work so this gave us the opportunity for a big cache run, we headed out to the You Yangs and then headed towards Geelong, a good time was had with some interesting places visited. Thanks vp4 for the cache.
Having taken the day off I'd planned to grab some caches in the Geelong North area, and was happy to hear that Rebel had also taken half a day off. Meeting at the end of the Eastern Freeway we headed over the Bolte and Westgate to gain access to the rich rewards of an un-visted and un-plundered area. We had a great day of caching with my tally 60 Finds / 2 DNF's. We will be back next week to do it all over again, as I've solved all the puzzles in the Geelong area and it's not time to collect. Having solved this a while ago it was time to collect. Thanks.
My second multi. Enjoyed finding a piece of Lara history I didn't know about and enjoyed doing the maths to find the cache! Thanks for this one
Found @ 7:57pm, find # 2775.
Biggles1024 and I headed down to Geelong for the day to attend the Christmas Smorgasbord of events, while picking up our unfound caches on the way and in between events.
We were on our way home when we stopped off at this one.
This is a nice short and simple multi, we gathered the required info and we soon found ourselves holding onto the cache.
Thanks to vp4 for placing this cache.

Find #793
Stemicmitsar and I again teamed up for a trip to Geelong. Attending as many of the five Xmas events being held there was the purpose of our trip. Whilst in Geelong we thought we'd have a grab a few more of the local caches. I would never had guessed that there was a plaque located where this one is. Quite interesting history. A nice, short multi, sign the log and then continue on our way home. TFTC

Our second multi! Getting the hang of these now. Cache was completely visible from the road so we camouflaged it a little so it's not so exposed.
Not sure if I mucked up the coordinates or my GPS was playing games but I didn't think it likely the cache would be in the middle of a paddock! Gave up for another day.

On my way home from walking the dog around the YY's, this is a nice quick multi.
A great piece of local history that otherwise would be missed by me if not for caching.
I enjoyed this cache.

Trying to turn Lara into a big smile and this was on the hit list. Drive past this on a regular basis and never noticed this rock. Co ords worked out and cache in hand soon after. TFTC
Find number 10 for the day on our way back from clearing out the You Yangs and a number of other caches around Lara. Read the plaque, did the sums, went to have a look. Could hear much activity from the farmers over the fence and could certainly smell the results of their labour (Buckleysbabe does NOT like Dynamic Lifter!! ) but convenient screens (no doubt protecting the flourishing produce) meant that it was only necessary to avoid detection by a single tractor-driving muggle . Made the find fairly quickly, signed the log and retreated to somewhere that smelt a little better - but not much, with a car full of boys waiting!!
Thanks vp4 for yet another cache!
Thanks vp4 for yet another cache!
Parked on the side of the road to admire this one.. and received a rather lovely honk from a car passing by, another cacher perhaps?? A very interesting monument and a lovely quick multi for us today, TFTC vp4!
Found today with Sorceysal while on a day of caching in the Little River, Lara area. A nice quick multi that we had soon figured out and logged. Thanks vp4.
Dutch Frangipani managed a day off work today, so what better way to spend it but in the freezing cold caching in an area that we had not done before. I was glad I took the 2WD as I doubt my little corolla would have managed some of these roads. It was a day of good company, many laughs and fantastic conversation.
Found WP1 and got the co-ords to make a quick find.
Thanks for the cache vp4

Nice multi that wasn't too taxing for this greenhorn... Glad I did this one in the colder weather. Less chance of coming across any little beasties guarding the cache. TNLN SL TFTC vp4.
This was the first cache visited while on holiday. We were on a driveby to take the furry children to the kennel. Worked out numbers at home intending to find gz on the way to pick them up. Leaving gps at home meant a delay in finding this one. Good final spot. TFTCSL
This was one of those caches that pops up on the car GPSr as I'm approaching and since I'm out this way caching with Square_pegs the executive decision was made to have a go finding it. A nice piece of local history and a quick find. Thanks VP4.
We didn't have this cache on our list but as we were driving past and saw it pop up we decided to have a crack at it. With our numbers in hand we were soon at GZ and adding our names to the log. An interesting little bit of local history that otherwise might go unnoticed. Thanks for the cache.
My sincere apologies to all cache owners for what I am about to do. Unfortunately, I have been unable to keep up with my logs for the past 5 months or so, meaning that it is becoming very impractical for everybody involved. Over the these last few months I have certainly found some fantastic caches showing off both the beautiful areas around the world, and the ingenious minds of cachers alike. I haven't had the greatast find rate over the past few months, but that is also due to the same reason I have fallen behind in my logs. I would like to thank all cache owners for their wonderful contribution to the caching community, and again I sincerely apologise for the generic logs.
Thanks for this cache vp4

Find #539.
We set out today to explore Lara and Little River and seek a few caches along the way. This was #6. Had a long chat with the property owner, who was curious as to why so many people stopped to read the plaque. Not sure he is any the wiser after I explained what Geocaching is all about. SL Thanks for the cache here vp4.

Found! This was a fairly quick one. Multi close to first coordinates. A few cars around. TFTC
This was a nice quick easy multi! I have seen this plaque many of times before I started cacheing and now I know what it's about thanks vp4.
Nice hide. Took trackable left tigger. Hope to drop off to in Melbourne tomorrow.
Took quite a while to get this as the neighbouring farmers were usually next to GZ whenever I attempted it. Today it was a clear coast, and we got there after a bit of a looooong reach. TFTC.

After spending a marvellous day on a boat with fellow cachers, knocking off the Mud Island hides, and the one on South Channel Fort, it was impossible to resist sampling the caches on offer in Geelong.
A critical error in my calculations led to unnecessarily hopping two gates and taking a walk in the dark into the nearby sanctuary. Let's chalk the inattentiveness to the teeming masses of little bitey insects trying to make a meal of me while I did the figures... the fact that I've been up since well before dawn couldn't possibly have anything to do with it.
Back on track, I enjoyed a last quick find. The cache is safe and dry in its hidey hole. Thanks, again, vp4, for this, the 22nd find on an epic day, and my 201st multi.

Found this afternoon with Neville devil - right where we thought it would be. No farmers around today, so we were able to make some swaps, sign the log and pop it back nice and quick. TFTC!
Pretty sure we were in the right spot, with lots of likely hidey holes to explore, but alas, no oportunity to hunt with the local farmer hanging around a little too close for comfort today. Will be back for this another day.
With a train cancellation this morning and an early drive to Lara, it seemed like a good opportunity to do this cache. Double checked the figures as our math isn't what it used to be, and soon had the cache in hand. Thanks for sharing this spot. TNLN TFTC

Nice little hide. Have driven past I-don't-know-how-many times and never noticed the rock & plaque before - finding these "buried" treasures is one of the attractions of geocaching for us.
Thanks vp4 -- jandaw's 61st find.
Thanks vp4 -- jandaw's 61st find.
Finally found after getting coords wrong twice, haha. Note to self: read the clues properly! No TB to be seen. Well hidden and fun to retrieve. TFTC.
Great fun! This was our first multi - a nice easy drive-by to get us started. Took badge, left truck. TFTC!
Another piece of history that would otherwise go untold to many if not for caching. This hide took longer than needed, just didn't look hard enough the first time. Thanks for the history again vp4
I had a birthday party to attend in Geelong and what better excuse to go out caching that a long drive. I like doing multi's and this fun a quick one. I soon had the needed info at GZ and in no time at all I found myself looking for the cache. Quickly found. TFTC
Found at 1820 Hrs Find #671!
This one took too long to find! Helian1 was trying out his new GPSr! We did have the correct co-ords but it was quite a clever hide! Turns out it was an 'operator error'...
Took: Nothing
Left: Path Tag
Thanks to vp4 for bringing me here!
Cache Condition - Fine

Another good history lesson learnt today. I must say the cache container is very full, the log book is jammed in. SL TFTC vp4
A bit of a search needed for this one. Thanks for the interesting history point and the unambiguous multi. Tftc, t: eraser l: pathtag and whistle.
Interesting bit of history. GPS was sending us about a kilometer away cause it was in the wrong mode! Worked it out and found the cache shortly after. T4TC.
At 11.50h(EDST), I knew I finally had the maths right! Took TB Hiigara. Left - IKEA pencil, fridge magnet, sillica gel sachet, toy car & toy soldier. Also replaced log bag. TFTC - Unka Dave.

Easy find after plugging the numbers in and making my way to GZ.. Thanks VP4 for the cache, history and find #1430.. found this one on a very round about trip via colac area, maldon, ballarat and yarra junction trip home from work.. This was one of 14 for the night and 46(ish) for the trip.. Thanks for the cache and break in driving..
Easy find when we took the time to read the calculations no photo, the farmers dogs found us & the friendly cops were crusing the area
Was distracted for a few minutes to watch an FA-18 on display at the air-show. TFTC TNLN
