Cache found in great nick with no issues. Really enjoyed the walk out here this afternoon. TFTC!

An easy walk down Slippery Dip Trail to this cache. A great lookout and grateful this is a national park, and cannot be developed. The cache was spotted without a problem.

Found melted after the recent back burning. Recognizable but not able to open without tearing it apart. Nice view from this spot. TFTC
Hello Vikings! Thank you for another great cache. “Needs maintenance” is an understatement! Have a great week ahead!
Significantly melted after recent back burning. Reported for maintenant. Thanks Vikings!
Temporarily disabling this cache, since it apparently got damaged by the recent hazard reduction.
Nice easy one although there seemed to be some “decoy” rocks nearby.
Cache is in good order.

A great walk along the path with some beautiful flowers seen. This was a lovely spot. Thanks for bringing us here
Lovely walk with OlMaLol. Great views could be seem above the trees and lots of pretty flowers. Cache was well shielded from weather. Overall great find!
Thank you The Vikings for refreshing this one... was starting to worry we had lost it again in more recent back-burns but found it just as we were ready to give up. Cache was looking healthy... my 6 y/o wanted the tape measure so we replaced with a squishy basketball keyring. Great fun... SLTFTC.

Decided to go back to cache as it was another weekend with nice weather. We replaced the logbook which had been there since we placed the cache in May 2008, 12 years! We also replaced the pen. Remember you should always bring your own pen, in case a pen is missing or just doesn't fit in a container.
Enjoying the nice weather we took a walk to this cache, and replaced the container with a new, intact, one.
Noted that the pen was not working, but did not have a spare one to replace it with. Will have to be back some other time for that. In the meantime, all follow the general geocaching advice to bring your own pen when geocaching!

Second of three caches today.
This one was found easily in the second spot I looked.
I enjoyed the walk to the first cache and then here, some nice scenery on the way.
The corner of the lid is missing, and the log is a bit damp but still signable. Sorry I didn't have a spare sandwich bag.
I replaced the cache with a bit more camo as it was relatively exposed before.

Decided to go for a nice walk today where nobody will be around and this was the perfect cache to do it. It’s just around the corner from us and I have no idea why we did not try it earlier.
I feel a cache with such a nice walk and being maintained since 2008 deserves a favourite point so here it is!
After finding this we walked along to the Remote Control Airplane area. Would love to see that in use some day.
Thanks for the lovely walk.

Bike riding the Slippery Dip trail, lovely bushland area, fairly easy find. TFTC
Having found the nearby Slippery Dip 1, we continued to do a cache check on this cache of ours.
The cache is in good condition, even though it may need a replacement container at some stage. However, it is well protected and will not suffer any bad weather as long as it is put back to the same location where it is found.

Rather than coming in the easy way along Slippery Dip Trail i parked my car at the head of Five Mile Creek Trail on Morgan Rd in order to walk up and grab the Snow White cache.
I found the way up from Five Mile Creek Trail to be difficult but doable. No impenetrable scrub, just a lot of fallen trees, some rock scrambles and ~200m of uphill.
I was able to spot the cache right away once i arrived at the GZ and soon had the log signed and the container replaced.
Thanks.

I came out to this one today to fill in a missing month on my calendar. Run across some lost teenagers on the way pointed them in the right direction. All good at the cache only problem is the pen doesn’t work. So future finders bring a writing device. Thanks Vikings for the placement . Cheers
Found after picking up "Snow White". I contemplated the direct approach between the two but I've had some "interesting" experiences doing that sort of thing so decided to play it safe and stuck to the track. There are some good views around here. Thanks for the cache.

Just the one today, before the Sydney 6ers Big Bash game at the SCG. Just made a sort of round trip... Pity I didn't leave myself any more time for another nearby cache.
Parked near the gate and walked the half kilometre or so to GZ. Nice easy trail and an interesting information sign about the area.
Got to GZ and quickly made an assumption re the likely placement. Just caught sight of it from a distance. CIH!
Completed signing duties and replaced. And noticed I wasn't the first here today. I'm sure there was no electronic log when I checked earlier this morning. [?]
I'd wondered when collecting *Snow White* if I could continue to here. Well, possibly, but it would have been a hard slog, methinks if I took a straight line approach.
And timed my arrival at the SCG perfectly!

Don't know why I haven't spotted this cache before but I noticed it on the map yesterday and decided to go for it this morning.
As I started along the track at the locked gate I met a bushcare group who asked if I knew about birds, well I do and now they want me to make a list of native birds in the area. The cicadas were deafening so I couldn't really hear any birds today and as its hot they weren't active and were difficult to spot.
So I'll be back!
I also had two cars drive along the track while I was walking, where are they going???
The views along the ridgeline were good as I neared the turn off to GZ.
Once at GZ the cache was a quick find. Signed the logbook and took the TB to move along.

Well it seems today that I was set on notching up a few finds so I could fill some squares in my 'Hidden Month' grid. I wasn't sure about which direction to head this morning but after doing some research into some clusters of both unfound D/T caches and Hidden Month caches, I found that there were several for me to collect on the route towards Palm Beach which included one nearly right at the tip of this particular landmass.
I ended up having to take some big detours to go and grab some of them but they were all en route towards the Northern beaches. I began with 'No bridges falling here', then 'Hagar's Heights', 'Stick Figure in Peril', 'Stairway to Heaven', 'Take a seat' and finally 'White Freeze' on my return journey back home.
Six finds all up on a pretty good day out although 2 or 3 DNF's didn't help my mission. I took the bottle of sunscreen with me as it was a bit of a scorcher and I'm known to get a little burnt after a warm sunny day.
'Hagar's Heights' was my second find for the day and possibly the toughest. When I arrived at the start of the track I sat in the car for a little while contemplating whether even to go for this one or not given the lengthy walk and hot weather. It didn't take long before I decided to go for it and began my walk where there were barely any people around.
The walk itself to GZ was easy with the exception of a few spider webs along the way, one of which I managed to walk right through face first. From there I armed myself with a stick and carried on. Towards the end, the bush became a little thicker so I was being extra careful of my surroundings. Soon enough I arrived at GZ and made the find.
I signed the log and made my way back to the car but not before stopping at a lookout which gave a great view of the valley looking towards the East.
Thanks for the cache The Vikings

We had attempted to find the nearby cache "1948 FORDSON MAJOR", and failed, a few days ago so returned today for the other two caches in the area.
This one was 2nd on our list so we parked the geomobile at the start of the track, at the locked gate, leading off Morgan Road and hiked to GZ for a quick find. Swapped TB's and signed the log book.
Thanks vikings for the nice afternoon bushwalk, and for the cache.

Simple but nicely hidden. Took a small blue bear, put a tire lever for the cyclists
I found this one this afternoon whilst out on my calendar gap chase. I'd been after another Dr Livingstone cache but it appears to be missing in action, but I saw this one nearby and it was a Vkings cache, meaning good coords and well maintained So I headed on up the track towards the GZ.
Anyway as I arrived at the GZ, my GPSr was pointing a few metres off to the left and I initially searched there. Then came back and checked where the hint pointed to and my gut feeling told me it would be. Bingo, it was an easy find then. I signed the log and replaced it exactly as I found it.
Anyway, you've gotta love an excuse to get out into the urban bush and to find another cache. Thanks The Vikings for another of your caches. I always enjoy them. SL TNLN TFTC

Last of three found with the geo-son whilst out riding on an autumn Sunday afternoon. We trundled along the track from Morgan's Road and had to duck out of the way of the odd MTB rider that wizzed past us. The last 100m into GZ was easy once we had found the way in on the narrow side track (apart form the occasional spikey bush in the face. The cache was soon located and was found to be remaining in very good order. Many thanks to The Vikings

After Jack's Cache I decided to go for this one. Followed the track to a track to a track...Ahhh, I love it when it's a little easier. Got to GZ and the cache was exposed, but still covered. (I'm sure the CO will know what I mean) I SL, TNLN and covered it a little better. Another one done, TFTC.

We have been meaning to do this one for a while.
Very nice walk up to the GZ, then checked the clue and after several attempts picked the right area.
Dropped of a number of bears to replenish a cache running low of goodies.

We were walking down the main track to the model flying club so called in for this cache on the way back. Nice spot on a nice day.
Great sunny winters day for a wander. Found by GeoLad. TFTC SL Took a pair of walking boots and left some bits and pieces.
This cache wasn't on my list of to-do caches, but after heading down the wrong path to nearby Snow White I found myself almost standing on this one. Easy to find. Thank you.

I had to check this one out since I was on the track to the "Narrabeen" Trig station further along. Always nice to find a regular size cache as opposed to the micro which I ignored down the track.
No problem getting to GZ the track will take you there and only a short search for the hiding spot.
Thanks for the neat cache and the views.

Quick one after walking up from"Jack's cache" nice views around here. Especially the one of the ocean. Dropped of TB too. TFTC.
18/01/13 6:45 AM. Cache #380. Current streak: 131 days. After "Jack's Cache", walked the extra few hundred metres on to this one; easily found with the hint. Left $1 for another Flatfoots Simpsons golf ball - Yelyac loves these; picked up a couple in Northbridge caches the other day. Thanks Vikings }:)
Quite a bit of traffic considering the locked gate, people coming and going from the flying field I guess. Found the correct point to leave the main track thanks to the satellite maps on the phone, and once at GZ made an easy find. Thanks The Vikings.
Nice walk on a track we hadn't been on before and we live very nearby. Our first find so we are really pleased.
Second for the day - after Jack's cache. Nice and easy, unlike some Viking caches near here but it was a good surprise. Great walk here from the previous cache, thoroughly enjoyed it. The geo boy signing us in took longer than the find!!! TFTC.
After finding Jacks Cache I pressed on with the geodog, jogging because the geofamily went back to the car. Ahhh the great Aussie bush I could roam around for hours. TFTC
After a quick find at Jack's, continued on and found the minor trail I'd memorised from GE. It's surprising to find horseshoe marks on these narrow, minor, overgrown tracks. A bit of searching, up and down, revealed the hide. SL and took GC. TFTC
Continued on from Jack's Cache and followed the trail basically to the cache. It's odd how the track peters out after the cache turn off. Hagar wouldn't get much of a view nowadays with the growth. Made a quick find and dropped off a GC. Was surprised to find the Platypus TB, I've started this Geocash trail but I wasn't actively pursuing the TBs. Anyway it's mine now.
Thanks!
Thanks!
After succesfully completing Reptile Rock a lot easier on the second try we headed for this to stretch the legs a little. A nice walk along the fire trails and then we saw the small track to the side where the GPSr needle was pointing. Soon we were at GZ and made a quick find. The cache was dry due to its hiding spot. We completed the sliging duties and return. Made it back to the car before it got too dark and beat the rain starting again. TFTC

It's easy to misinterpret "approach from the west," or at least I did, and had to go back and start over. Advice: follow the driving directions; you can't drive all the way to the cache, duh, but it'll give you the right start. Retrieved Opossum and dropped off Platypus.
(For readers' amusement: I clicked on "driving directions," forgetting that Geocaching thinks I'm still in the US, and got a 55+ day, 160-step trip that involved kayaking the Pacific three times with intermediate routes through Hawaii and Japan...not to mention that the directions through Japan were in Japanese. Well, at least the last three turns were correct and in English.)
