I had a funny caching day yesterday today. I found this Beltfamily cache in a Sistema with a code on the lid and the last log being 2011! (see pic). But I was actually looking for Leap Day Tradition(al), which I suspect might be the victim of soil and garden waste disposal. This was a good consolation as it turns out. Some other cachers have kindly pointed me in the direction of this archived cache and explained I could log it. So TFTC Beltfamily
Decoded the puzzle with no difficulties, but finding the cache took a while....but got it in the end! TFTC!
Pulled up behind a cop, would he stop us from finding the cache... thankfully he departed as we crossed the road to get the info.

Had grabbed the info for this cache at the end of a days caching in town and the weather closing in so sat at home in the warm and dry and worked out the final co-ords. MMMMM not always the best thing but nevermind returned to complete today.
A day of completing finals of some multis we have collected info for on other trips was a lovely fine day today to finish some of them off in found after a short hunt around log signed thanks for the cache
Quickly solved, then a lot of muggle dodging! Seemed to have drifted to the south, replaced to match hint.

On the way over for a day in the Maitai, unfortunately didn't find the Banford Beech Cache.
Very nice location, up some very narrow roads to location. Soon had cache located. SL TFTC
Interesting information, and lovely park, but couldn't help thinking that the choice of GZ was a little uninspiring considering the lovely area across the road. Thanks anyway.
First one for the day - dodged the dead hedgy near gz - yeah, the cords do bounce around.
TFTC!

Busy wee place to day tradesman working on the house below, but the cache was soon in hand

As I was reading the plaque someone pulled up slowly on a scooter and looked at me as though I was acting as doggy as I was.
And so we met 2FunnyKiwis. Unfortunately Mr2FunnyKiwis used funny math and so we visited the wrong GZ (but with the items in the clue) before realising our mistake and heading to the correct location.

This cache is placed it the most muggle used road around walking dogs, riding bikes and just being a pain to us knowing ones TFTC
One of many finds on our first full day in Nelson. Great views in this area on a lovely day. Thanks for bringing us up here.
'cos of the energy crisis, took my bike, via Russell St, so when I got to the cache there was another energy crisis. co-ords bang on again thanks. too tired to complete trble today!
2470. We were due out for tea but thought that if we hurried we could find one more cache first! Now we have the coordinates we need for the 3rd cache in this series.
Thanks

I found a lot of caches with my Dad - Biggles - and never logged these online. Now I've got my own account, its time to set things straight. Thanks for all the fun, Flying Phoenix.
After taking Lil' Stu to the movies in town decided to have a go at three or so caches in this general area. Found the clues and had a chat to a couple of Americans who had friends that geocached. Did other two caches and returned to final location. Will attempt to finish the treble over next couple of days. TFTC, Biggles and Lil' Stu.

What a relief! We were totally wrong with our prior attempts. The cache is closer to the coordinates we first thought. Now we can depart from Nelson tomorrow after nine wonderful days heading towards Christchurch.

PS: Maybe we need these ugly weather conditions from today to be successful

Interesting information, cool tree. We had a wee bit of trouble locating the cache, as GPS put us near the wrong hint items. But a bit of looking around in the area had us locating the correct ones, and the cache was soon in hand.

Cache check. Still there. (sorry! ) Added "in" to one of the hints to make it easier. I hope.
We arrived yesterday and looked for this cache without success. A second attempt today ... again no success. But we are in Nelson for a few days more and will try again.

A quick find just before dark. Trying to clear some of the closest caches during the week. We did Rovers Return in June so about time we tried to complete this Treble before too late. TNLN
Relief beyond belief. The mojo finally returned. This must have been my 8th visit. I finally managed to search somewhere that I hadn't searched before. This pasttime can be soooooo frustrating sometimes. Now I can move on! TNLN

A fun visit to Nelson for a few sunny days with some very enjoyable caches both in location and hiding style. I don't think a compass would work in Nelson given all the magnets located about the place. Any way thanks to all the local cachers for all the local caches, please excuse the template log.
See if this is any better.

For some it's the numbers,
for others a race,
and the isis58 entry,
put a on my face!
Happy to see you haven't decided to lie low.

Three visits now and still can't find it. Double and triple checked the answers today. Used the clue finding two of the mentioned structures. Will wait for the next promised clue once 5? have found it.
First time visit for me and was quite intrigued with the info, all very interesting. Lovely outlook and a great Nelson day to enjoy it.

Bit of a warm up for a day caching in Well. 2mrw. Nice wee history lesson too! Cheers. Final will have to wait for my cold to finally go away.
Great spot, not far from my old house, great to see that sign used again as it some interisting history, the big tree looks great around Christmas as it get covered with lights not quite the same as the flag staff but it can be seen for miles around..
Nice One!!!!!!! This unique historical area of Nelson deserves another cache. Well done. With no doubt, the information board is worth a visit on its own. The cache gives that extra bonus. No problem with the find. Off tomorrow for the final. Thanks
Mr Explorer headed to WP1 to collect the clues and then back to the car to do the calcs. Final GZ was not far so headed there. After 15 minutes of searching and no hint to rely on thought I might have to give up. Worked the clues again and got the same answer. Went back for another look and after a few minutes put my hand on the cache, a very relieved FTF at 11pm. TFTC.
