Came past this evening after going to the gym, as per the previous log I was unsuccessful. With the final in hand also I expanded my search and still nothing. This multi is in serious need of a fix up. Seems its time for it to go.
This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.
dnf today. Worked out a gz then read logs and show that the cache is up to 20 meters out plus the hint wrong.
much of the key infrastructure for the calculations has been changed.
the hint is now wrong, stated on many logs
previous logs suggesting it is as much as 20 metres from the calculated GZ.
Not the best idea for a lone male to search under these conditions in a park ground

In the city with my mother and wife to ferry them to some medical appointments. I had time to attempt this one but ran into difficulties collecting the required information as things have obviously changed at the first waypoint. Was going to give up but phoned a friend and managed to get enough information to make the find. This is an enjoyable multi that really needs "tweaking" as …. without help ….. it would be difficult to locate.
Thanks Flipper&Co for the challenge ……………………….. made it back to the family with a minute to spare!!

This one is slightly more challenging than expected because
1: much of the key infrastructure for the calculations has been changed.
2: the hint is now wrong.
3: the previous logs suggesting the container is a 100ml sistema are now wrong.
4: previous logs suggesting it is as much as 20 metres from the calculated GZ. The brings a huge number of potential hides into play.
----
All in all it is pretty surprising that we actually found it! Probably worth an extra D star at the moment!

Sat myself down at one of the park benches and did the Calculations for this one even though there was no swing sighted to count the seating capacity, so I assumed the needed digit given the size of the park. The search was on... looking and looking. Read a few previous logs and the hint I needed had me re-search a certain area and the well hidden cache was soon in hand [^] SL at 16:40 on Mon 14 Aug 2017. We thought this location looked familiar, we had been here before and remember the hint not helping. Cache found and on checking the log found our name entered back in 2014.
So I am in Adelaide for work... So of course who needs to rest in the evening.... Thankfully brisal5 and anymules were on hand to keep me company and help me locate some impressive caches.
The boys have been very busy working out lots of puzzles, I am really here to just keep them company and spot anything they miss.
Thanks

Day 2 of mogni in town for one of her many work roles. Staying at Mawson Lakes right close to Bob Land. [^] At long last I would be able to get to some of the BFE puzzles that had regularly been appearing and being solved at Puzzled Puzzler Meetings. And of course any others that happened to appear on the GPS. [8d] I had already spent most of the day with Mrs. Aussie M&M whilst her car looked at. Now having picked up mogni a call from Anymules resulted in him joining us as well.
Whilst I was still busy thinking as per the clue, the others read so logs and expanded their search. Shortly thereafter mogni found the cache. Must be the rare metal pine. Thanks for the search FLIPPER&CO.

After reading some previous logs, the search was expanded. Mogni made the find in a logical spot (unrelated to the clue). TFTC. 22/11/16, 9:01 pm Find #3362.
Here for a Munzee event today & realised I had previously DNFed my last attempt to find the cache. As I was here with a previous finder, she made light work of our search. Not where the clue indicated where it would be, still glad to finally cross this one off my list. Thanks for the multi Flipper&CO
Found with a BIG hint from Parislaura while capturing other stuff at different event..TFTC
Our first try at geocaching and didn't find it :{ Went on the flying fox though
Out caching with CPWanderer & Clare007. We did the counting & got the co-ordinates. Maybe our counting was out or the cache has wandered as we couldn't locate it today.
I first visited and DNF'd this cache on the 4th of April, 2009. This afternoon, an opportunity arose to visit with a previous finder and get an easy smiley. I jumped at the chance and we quickly found the cache (probably 15-20 metres from where I was looking last time).
Very happy to have this one off the to-do list

Owl had some time between events, so joined with Bek-the raccoon and Spidermonkey to tackle some nemesis caches. This one has been taunting her for ages. The park has changed since its design and Owl has completely failed to brute force the numbers. Today Spidermonkey knew the location and Bek made a speedy find. Owl is just happy to have it off her map!
Worked out and found by The Boofs TFTC ☺. Now having said that it was no where near we thought it would be, but we found a sistema container with a virgin log book. Now did we find the right one?!? Well after all the many fails in this park we think it is!!
Worked out a while ago, but wasn't happy hanging around in the dark corners!
Returned with daylight and found in the 597th place I looked. (or maybe the tenth, just felt that way!)
I think I'd call this smaller than a small... would aid looking

When we had difficulty with "Hop" strolled to this one and it drove us bonkers! Ended up just looking according to the hint with no luck. Will try again another day

Had a go at the flying fox and the slide before gathering the info for the cache. Really enjoyable park, had us laughing like kids. After all the numbers are calculated, cords pointed to somewhere that does not fit the hint. Then we saw in previous logs about council removing one of the seats?? Still very confused about the numbers, when we found something somewhere...Yes, it's the container! Signed log, and put it back with more natural camo.
Thanks Flipper&Co for showing us this really fun park. TFTC!

Found this one while out with SA Sewer Rats and The Blackadders, been here before with the kids to get the figures and while last time was a DNF for me, this time thanks to the clever eyes of companions this was found and signed.
Was tempted to try the flying fox but opted out from fear of making a fool of myself. TFTC

This cache had alluded us previously when our calculated coordinates had us searching in a nearby street with pine nothing and no "natural camo" at all.
Reading through previous logs and gallery, realised that the council had removed one of the seats (hence affecting our calculations dramatically!), but looks like they are about to replace it, with a lovely concrete slab awaiting.
This time with correct coordinates, we found the cache in the second spot checked.
TFTC. We had lots of fun at the park!

We needed a multi to collect the souvenir and this little guy has been doing our head in so today was the day. It's a crazy little park in a decent area but a dumping ground for weird things. Today's silly thing was about 100 red tomatoes! Nicely positioned everywhere ! Anyways after the CO kindly offered some help am pleased to finally find this one, the kids are slowly getting over playgrounds but there is a nice drawcard at this one (and a junk food and coffee establishment nearby). Thanks flippers for the fun!!
I'm not real good at maths & made a royal mess with my calculations.

Out and about with the Squeaks doing a few caches around the area and even tho i had worked this one out a while ago we came here today and no cache to be found, we have placed a replacement cache here in a slightly different spot and hopefully it lasts a lot longer without being muggled. TFTC
""Sneaky Squeaky™" Woz ere" A quick but enjoyable find. From Me To You From SQ72 T.F.T.C
Couldn't find it looked all around the area it supposed to be but couldn't see it anywhere.
How disappointing.....the flying fox is out of action. Took Non Geo son for a look, after noticing this one was back online... Had the place to ourselves while we did a re-count, and quick look. Then we were joined by a ''can man'' then 3 youths with hoods followed him and wandering the park suspiciously. Friday at dusk, and it quickly turned from a fun activity after dinner into being outnumbered and slightly worrying. We stood our ground as long as we could, but had to retreat when the youths started backtracking. No GPSrs on them, but they were obviously looking for something..... Now it looks like Mum has lost her reading/working glasses.....arghhh... Will head back for another look and with a broom handle to move the flying fox (and look for the glasses!) Thanks for the cache FLIPPER&CO
Didn't find it, City of Prospect Council have been putting new mulch down in the area not sure if it had been covered or not. May need a quick check if your in the area.
Recalculated twice and using my iPhone did not seem to end up anywhere reasonable
Found with 7r1663r and urrbanninja the urbanassassins. Oh yeah and anonymous Stevie
I spent a delightful afternoon of caching with Earth Light.

Came back to the park to find the true current cache and... It's not there sticking with our Mt Vinson find for now.
found with schnail after very thorough search. coords are quite off perhaps they need an update.
Confused. Most recent date is 14/1/12 by Sneakywabbit. Have we stumbled upon the original container? I have the coordinates if you need us to verify the claim.
Answered the questions as best we could only to arrive at a set of coords in a neighbour's backyard. Tried a few other possible combinations but couldn't find anything that seemed to work. Not sure if the furniture in the park has been changed or if we were just being dim. Had a quick look around a few likely hiding places but without a valid set of coords we were just poking around blind. Hopefully others have better luck soon.
Yay. Gotcha! Spent ages looking last time;went straight to it today. Thanks for the replacement Flipper&Co. Another park to visit with the grandkids one day.
Pretty sure this is awol. Spoke to Mrs Flipper plus we did the calculations and no cache.
Not for us today. Calculated - recalculating - recalculating. Am sure we were in the general vicinity but... lady with small child was possibly getting suspicious.
I see that this cache hasn't been found for a while but then, not everyone logs DNFs I've noticed. Have read logs and will pop back for another look sometime.

Did the maths and gz was in someones back yard. Luckily the hint told me where to look and it was quickly found.
To me this park was the park behind a well known chicken shop that we use to visit a lot...

Erm, has the equipment in this park changed recently, thus making some of the questions incorrect? Are there a couple of trick questions in there? They all seem fairly straightforward, but we also found that GZ was on private property. Hoping that at least the eastern coordinate was correct we searched South of "GZ" the entire length of the park, but not exactly thoroughly in any particular area. Had to pack it in because the kids had lost interest. One for another day!
My calculations didn't work out either, but from a couple of logs, worked out where it "should" have been. After a few minutes I pinned it down to one smaller region and then finally the little tub was recovered and the log was signed. That's a first for me, as I usually just clear out when the numbers are fuzzy, but multi's are something I am trying to find more of.
Thanks for this one, it was good.
More flying foxes I say.

The geokids played whilst we waited for the muggle to leave. We did the sums whislt we were waiting, but the co-ordinates just didn't seem right, think we must have missed counting something! Muggleboy left, we then had the place to ourselves so used a bit of geologic with the clue and the cache was soon found.

How to fill in an hour or so between Dr's appointment and dentists's appointment on a day off? Go find a geocache that I could not find last time I tried.
Maybe I should have read the description a bit more carefully though instead of spending half an hour looking for something at the first coordinates
Once I 'woke up' and did the maths, I had completed the locus cache thing and had the cache in hand in about 10 minutes
Beautiful day for a walk in this pretty park. Many thanks for this cache, Flipper&Co. SL. TNLN.

I had a bit of a go this morning but headed off home for lunch... headed back with Team Engage afterwards and had more of a look. Still no luck with the co-ords but followed some comments and my tingling geo-senses to make the find.

Finally! After at least 4 visits, plus one where I was muggled before I even started, the cache was in hand! Well, Confusedcious' hand, but since her calculations were no better than mine, I call it a win!
Thanks Flippers!
Thanks Flippers!
Another visit, this time with Confusedcious in tow (she seems to be able to find the hardest caches...), but this time we were outwitted by a bunch of muggles drinking at the park bench. Sigh.
The waypoint i worked out seemed to be on private land. I will double check my observations later.
I had a good search and eventually found the cache out in the open a little way from GZ. I have replaced it where I think that it should be. Thanks for the adventure.
Found on a damp evening by torchlight, a beautiful little spot, thanks for the multi flipper&co
My first puzzle cache. Really enjoyed it. Found with Groobster and Geocats23. Thanks Flipper&Co for letting me know I could log it after all.
A quick, easy find whilst the geo-kids enjoyed the flying fox. Although we live in the area this is not a park we visit often as it is notorious for syringes. Decided to leave the geo-kids in the safety of the flying fox whilst we sat in the park and worked out the GZ location. Fortunately the location had no "nasty hazards" near it and it was a quick find after dodging some Muggles enjoying the park and a lady who appeared from nowhere and took exception to some temporary fencing around some building works. The cache rests in a neat hidey-hole well concealed by bits of the "clue". Something in Winterdragon's log could be very helpful to those who experience any problems with the sat lock. We were caching with Groobster and Autumnleaves25 who also signed the log before we noticed it was a Premium Member only cache. Sorry. They enjoyed the quest but not the spoils!! TYFTC Flipper$Co
I’d gone past here ages ago and collected the numbers, but then had been muggled off by a nosey neighbour before I could do much of a search. I’ve been past a couple of time since then but there were people near GZ each time, so I’ve just kept on going. Today I dropped past for another try, and this time the area was free, and the watchful neighbours were nowhere to be seen. So I went straight to where I remembered the coordinates as having put me last time, and searched through all of the typical hiding spots, but no luck. I was about to give up and head home, but thought I’d just have a scratch around in the ground as I vaguely remembered some old logs mentioning the fence, and what do you know, there’s a cache there! Not somewhere that I would have looked otherwise…

Answers the questions and got a wrong answer. Did it again and got a slightly different wrong answer. Said "stuff it" and found it BFE style in its hiding place. Recorded the co-ordinates at GZ, and there's no way I could have got those numbers counting the bins, benches and table sets. I wonder if some details have changed.
I used to work in the near-by KFC for many years. Had lots of goes on the flying fox over the years. TFTC.

I think I see where I went wrong - Didn't account for the seating capacity of the swings!
Counted all the objects and came up with a gz that was 3kms away so that wasn't right. Played around with the numbers a little and headed off to a more likely gz. Searched and searched without luck. Widened the search and we found a cache. But wait! That is the old cache that used to be in this park, and some people who have logged this cache have signed the log book. What do we do, take it with us? Decided to leave it there but will email owners. Think it needs to be removed as it is causing confusion. As to where the other cache is, well we will have to try again another day.
Had a look for this one last night on my evening walk, but ran of light before I had success. Returned this afternoon with EsromL and found it after a bit of a search. This one is well concealed - nice hide. TFTC

We set out on this beautiful, fresh Monday with aims of hitting 300 today. Ah, the best laid plans... [B)] Found 10 out of the 18 we visited. Sadly, this wasn't one of them. Pretty sure we had the right coordinates. Wondered a couple of things:
1 - when did construction start to clear the land butting up to the park [?]
2 - when did the big, fresh mound of bark chips get delivered [?]
Hope this one is still there.
Flipper&Co, thanks for the fun of the hunt and bringing us to this lovely park - the kids had a ball .
