Doh! Had the GPX file in from a few days ago and didn't know this was disabled. Spent ages here today looking but no luck for me. So many locations that fit the bill.
Enjoyed the view and the welcome bits of shade up here. We must have followed a slightly wrong direction initially but the cache sense took over. Tftc
A little damp underfoot at the given co-ordinates, however GZ was a little better. Found the well hidden cache after a not-so-short search, placed a couple of coins I'd picked up recently in the South Island. TFTC pakiaaro, #7998
Today saw us travelling to Hamilton from Auckland for the day to help secure some requirements towards our GIO Licence challenge.
A wander up to the to the centre of the reserve, we quickly figured out where we needed to be. A family of muggles were enjoying blowing bubbles in the lovely calm weather today, but thy weren't paying any attention to what we were doing, so we quickly found the container. Thanks for the nice multi!

Followed the directions and wound up searching in a couple of places but finally got the cache stash and enjoyed the amazing views.

The third cache find of the day. We looked in many places before finding it. Thanks for the cache and another hidden spot.

This is one of the most majestic places in Hamilton and not many know about it. Over 30 years ago, two little boys discovered this area and one was heard to exclaim: "I can see the WHOLE WIDE WORLD!" How true his words, as this 'mound' lifts you above the day-to-day drudge and puts you UP THERE! Have placed an Egyptian TB. Please ensure it follows it's path.
416 One thing this cache has taught me is directions up til now not necessary as people always tell me where to go. Wat a great view on a lovely sunny Sunday morning.
Out and about with Gap (of Fap and Gap). We planned on a big round up of caches around Te Rapa... so we started off early. It rained as soon as we arrived in Hamilton, and never let up. I got so wet, I had to ask Gap to visit a second hand shop to get a warm, dry coat... All part of the adventure we had today.
This was an interesting location. We walked up the grassy hillside and made an immediate decision about where ground zone was. A very quick but satisfying multi. TFTC.

Today was the the day to clear a lot green boxes from this area and turn them into smilie faces. With Mrs Fap visiting grandchildren got an early start with the Squirrel, with caches been found easily. But then the rain just started coming down and coming down and both of us getting wetter and wetter.
1.25pm - Soon guessed which palm to use to get cache. Pity about the weather as the view would have been great SLTFTC

Wow, never knew this spot was here. My daughter found this one. Dropped off a Geo-coin and took a geo-coin away which I shall hide somewhere in the South Island. tftc

Quick stop on the way home from school, needed to find a multi to drop a GC in, this one looked pretty easy, and a place we knew quite well.
What a great spot! We scrambled around in all sorts of likely and unlikely places- no, they wouldn't hide it so close to those houses, before we decided to read the clues more carefully and then, of course, we found it. A good sized cache, so left a bear reading a book and Dracula as they were about the biggest things I had on me. Thanks for bringing us here.
Interesting area that I would never have got to seen without your well hidden cache. Great view today. TFTC
Had no idea this little park existed. Hound had a quick runaround while the log was signed. Thanks for a lovely little multi
Didn't know this place existed. Jnr Kiwiteacher soon had cache in hand. TB taken.
saw one of my old bugs here nice to see it moving around a bit loved the view
O M G after 2 nights of searching with no luck, another 2 nites of scouting but gz was muggeled, then discovering the andriod compass app i had was inacurate after checking against a real compass, i walked up and spotted the cache instantly. good thing i only live 100m away as this one was getting on my nerves! alot harder than it should have been. tnln sl TFTC!!!!!!!!!!!

well hidden. surprised i never found before going up there in the past. im moving the coin to a beach tomorrow on our family trip.
Tried a couple of times to find this one about a year ago, but wasn't following the instructions properly (not putting my hand out and letting the Palm guide me!). Found easily enough this time round : )
Saw the cache owner's real name inside the cache lid - and had to wonder if this is someone who works at the same place I do, or if this someone else in Hamilton with the same name?

Managed to track it down after a several minutes, must get a gps unit one day! great views [8]
Grass really slushy in the middle. Took a little longer to find than it should have. TFTC
Our first ever cache find and to think it was right behind our house. We are now hooked. TFTC
P.S I believe that the "muggle dog" could be ours. If you are barked at by a Golden retriever on your way to GZ just tell Reilly to shut up (we always do)

I know that this was on top of a reseviour, however trapsing across to WP1 was like walking ontop of a giant green spounge, trainers will dry out soon, all for the love of geocaching, TFTC
Easier than I expected. GPS doesn`t work as a compass at all so I had to use my "guess-o-meter" to work out where SE was and it was right on the money!! TFTC
Even the muggle's dog was finding the heat too much this morning because he/she was off duty. Hint was spot on, thanks.
Wow, didnt know that this place existed. Excellent views of the city! Took giraffe eraser and replaced with metal egg cup. TFTC
Unusual to find such a large grassy area in amongst suburbia. Easy find from clue given.

Was quite surprised to see where we were at the waypoint and realize what we were standing on.
Slight deviation from our first thoughts and soon had cache in hand.
All in great order and intact.. Thanks for the visit [red]TFTC[/red]

Picked up 2 TB's that had been sitting a while to move on our travels next week.
Hard case "hill" luckily the top didn't fall in, Mind you battled the top side water today! not the best day for hunting - TFTC Cheers Muzy Man!
Bit of a walk from "Down by the River" but still a good find for the 3 of us, great spot and the views over the city are pretty good. Once again TFTC.
Out on a small cache run with Gadget-Tron.
Directions and paces were spot on for us. The shape of the field was umistakable.

After quite a bit of searching around many trees and a few recalculations we eventually found the cache. Awesome spot that we'd never been to before.
Reached the given co-ords, did the projection, and were quickly at GZ. Soon uncovered the cache. Nice views from up here. TFTC.

had a rummage around but no luck in locating it, will try again this weekend
Easy to find for me, haha. I have a friend who couldn't previously find it.
Needed eagle eyes. Why is this a multi cache. It always detered me, I like short caches. But this was really quick and really enjoyable.
Never knew this was here!
