Logs
No luck with this one today unfortunately.
Judging by our result and the previous logs I think this one might be gone.

No luck today. Recent burnt out area and no Welcome to Kakadu sign like in some of the photos.
Travelling with muggle husband and stopped for a photo shoot. Checked to see if there were any caches nearby and saw there was one within 40m. Looked in the most obvious spot and there it was. TFTC
Quick stop on the way to Darwin. Unfortunately our visit in Kakadu is over. Along with Skyryser. TFTC The-Shredder
Our outback tour stopped here for a photo opportunity, which became a geocaching opportunity to me I bet it's difficult to place a cache to this area, but fortunately you didn't give up.
An easy find when we were leaving Kakadu National Park heading for Darwin.

We are used to a lot of restrictions (we are Europeans) - so we enjoyed Kakado NP anyway!
We found the cache on our way towards Darwin and Litchfield.

Quick find as we left Kak a don't. Collected the red boot tb.Hope to be back one day to do the things we didn't do this time. That is of course if we are permitted to do so. Thanks groboz, I can feel the frustration.
Good cache with space for swaps. Not so many of those around anymore.. So thanks guys! Left a trackable and a new logbook. Took a GeoCoin. Cheers! the Red Boot has traveled with me from Adelaide and has seen all the highlights along the way to Darwin it's ready for a new adventure;)
During our vacation in Australia we drove today from Jaribu to the Mary River. On the way we looked for this cache. Thanks for hiding a cache here!

Found this one easily. Took keychain, left coin. Log book is full, so we could not sign it... TFTC!
Did not see it 1st, but a great cache nonetheless! Took a stress ball, left a dice for easy decision making. Dropped a TB, please help him along...
Following a few days holiday in Darwin, we were on our way to the next stage of our holiday...Kakadu. With Kakadu as our destination, it was only logical that we stopped to look for this cache...which only required a short search. Found two Trackables inside so I took them both to do a little more traveling...and it's about time some of the others listed here were marked Missing.
Thanks Groboz for going to the extra effort of getting some caches around Kakadu...I like to use cache finds to plot my holiday travels.

Never understood why people complain about Kakadu. It's one of the best places in Australia to visit. But you need to be prepared to take plenty of time and put in a lot of km to see the widely spread parts. Go on a ranger guided walk, cruise a billabong and do an indigenous tour. You'll never be the same. Good spot for a photo. Tftc.
Quick log on our way to Kakadu!
I love this NP its quiet and beautiful places.
nothing for lazy people who dont like to do long distances.

No problems finding this one except that when we decided to take a photo at least four other muggle vehicles also decided it was a great idea so we just had to out wait them to do the signing. TFTC.
Now that we saw both Litchfield and Kakadu park we can finally say that yes, you and the locals are absolutely right! Litchfield is so much better than Kak-a-don't! This cache was hidden in a strangely safe place, everything around was burned except for the hiding place. Thanks to Groboz for this cache

Working in Darwin for a few months so we decided to head off to Kakudu for a few days and stopped here to log our first NT cache. I see that the cache has not been logged for a few months but we found it to be in good condition and dry. Took nothing but left 4 trackables to be moved on, SL, TFTC
And finally we arrive in kakadu... Yes... just the place we want to be. We want to explore and see crocodiles... and the caches are now really just bonuses on our route. We have been intrigued by the countryside so far.

A quick grab on my second attempt - I was quickly off the bus but had to abandon my first search as the muggles I was with wanted a group photo... Once that ordeal was over I dashed to GZ again and made good my log, a fellow staff member who knew what I was up to coming to see what this game was all about (bemused I expect rather than a future convert). Easy find as we exited the park after a 2 day visit. Luckily only one other car stopped when we were looking for it and it was for a short while only.
[Teal]As we head from town to town as part of our "Purposeful Meander around Oz" the Rats and the Mini Rats found this cache. Dad did most of the hard work here, the detail of our find can be found in the Rats log. Sorry for the duplicate log but it takes nothing away from the find.
Thanks for being part of our great adventure.

This was another find in Northern Territory while crossing Northern Territory and Western Australia from Darwin to Perth on Gibb River Road through the Kimberlys. During this 8500km journey we've met many nice and friendly people [^], visited countless marvelous places, saw lots of interesting local wildlife (and plants), took some 2500 pictures home and logged some 300 Caches .
This one wasn't quite easy, since tons of muggles have been waiting to take pictures with the sign close by .
Thanks for the cache, we've enjoyed it very much [^].

Schnell gefunden .
Fotostop nach den Muggels und dann weiter .
Vielen Dank für diese Aktion .
Gruß sulu .

We went to Kakadu today. Beautiful views, lush scenery, some pleasant hikes. However, we only managed the one find today. I can understand the restrictions with cache placement. We've encountered them before.
So, we are very glad that this cache was here!
There were no TBs, even though the inventory lists two.

This was our very first find in the beautiful Northern Territory. We had an amazing 7-day holiday in a campervan and we can't wait to get back to visit this part of the world again. Easy cache to find, got a few happy snaps and we were back on the road again. Tftc Groboz
On our way from Perth to Darwin we saw many great things and places - many of them thanks to geocaching! We thank the owners for sharing their favorite spots with us by hiding their caches!
A quick find a small road side burn off, had occurred, found cache in it's hidey spot, in good shape, No Trackables sighted, Encountered the NT Topical Down pour, and spotted a lonely drenched Dingo walking along the Road. TFTHSL cheers
Couldn't find this one and wondered if it had perished in the fire that had recently burned in the area the coordinates suggested.
great first cache on our weekend away in kakadu....no sign of the two TBs though. important fact learnt though...on the way back to the car I had a stick stab into my foot...lucky the caching bag had a small first aid kit! tftc
