Hasn't been found in over 2 years and no response to maintenance request. Needs to be archived to stop it showing up in feeds and open the area up for others.
ALmost 2 years since the last find, can't believe theres only been 1 DNF after mine.
Might need checking up on though so people start coming to look for it again instead of looking at the logs and giving it a miss

I was unable to get to the gz due a fence and gate that looked freshly installed.
Hmm didn't find this cache today unfortunately Not sure if I was just looking in the wrong spot too close to the tree..... as I didnt widen my search too far. Thanks anyway I loved the tree very intriguing that it grew this way!
Replced with a mint tin so others can enjoy the unique tree as i did and get their smiley too. Thanks for showing us this natural wonder.
Like a few before us we didn't find this one after quite a bit of searching. With all the leaf litter around it may well be all here but some confirmation from the CO would be good. Thanks for bringing us here because it really is a worthy spot for a cache.
After so many DNF's on this one a check by the owners would be appreciated. Thanks. It is a great location and worthy of a cache replacement!
We have to add our names to the list of DNF's. A wonderful tree which is surviving very well unlike the cache it seems.
no joy today looked in every nook and cranny then looked again took a second look on the way back to geocar to good foe us eyes painted on today
What an unusual tree! We were in the right place, but no luck with locating GC. We did however spot a pair of shingle back lizards in one of the wedges.
Had a very good look with Gypsyroselee but no luck.... Maybe needs a visit from the owner? I wonder if the previous find was mis-logged as there have been lots of DNFs here....
Very cool tree, amazing! Nice area in the afternoon although the grass was a bit long. Thanks The Lucas'!

Fascinating tree. Found with o'cholio. TFTC and bringing us to this remarkable oddity.
That is definitely a freaky tree, and quite unique. Don't think we've ever seen another one like it. Good spot. TFTC.
Navigated our way to this one and came pretty close to GZ - Our search was hurried due to a barking dog over the fence - had to duck down so we werent seen by the occupants and we were out of there. Thanks for the hunt. TNLN SL
#1127 @ 5.30pm. We chose a lovely autumns day to go acaching in Wagga and it was fast disappearing on us. Not wanting to have a late night we decided to do a couple more before heading home to Albury. We have seen some amazing places where trees are able to grow, particularly in Central Aust, so this example was reminiscent of that. TNLNSL TFTC The Lucas'
What an amazing piece of nature! Great little hide. Thanks for getting me up here, the GeoPuppies loved the walk!
TFTC!

What an interesting cache completed, seen this before, but not for a while. TFTC / TFTH / SL
Straight forward to find this one. Muggle friend found it first - and I think he is hooked.
Loved the tree, very cool. My GPS hadn't settled yet but I knew exactly what I was looking at. TFTC
No luck today. Was a nice bike ride up the hill though.
Shall try again next weekend.
Shall try again next weekend.
[Back in the saddle after my back seized up yesterday.] Had to look twice in the crevice before it dawned on me...
Amazing what nature can do when it just wants be where it wants to be. Great tree! The first of 3 in this nice area. There are many ways into this spot either on foot or as we found we were lucky enough to drive up part of the hill. SL TNLN T4TC
A nice quick find this morning while out with the geodogs. I have been to this one before and had no luck finding it. I think I'll put that down to inexperience

Agreed, thought it was a good spot for a cache and we (Nifares and I) had fun walking along looking for the 3 caches in the area...
Found this one at the end of 3 on this hill, was a fantastic walk up, around and down.. parked very close to this one but did it at the end of the walk. Soon had cache in hand. Was a great finish to a great walk. TFTC
Yeah, this was a wierd looking tree. Very persistant to be able to get through what he's got through.... Bit of a look around had the cache in hand soon enough. Thanks for the hide.
A nice quick find at an interesting spot. I never cease to be amazed at the power of nature over its surroundings - it is not just humans who bend and shape the world, we just do it faster. Thanks for the cache The Lucas'

Was it the chicken or the egg. I vote for the egg. Check the pic and you can vote too. Clear skies from TeamAstro.
Ditto with Gum-Ako, seen another like it in WA and that time the tree found water and created a fresh water spring,Life creates its own opportunities.tftc
Great spot! Trees are amazing things to be able to split rocks much harder and stronger than they are! I wish i'd taken a photo! Thanks for bringing us to this spot.
Found while still in Wagga after Oz Mega (still glowing with all the memories)
Spotted the tree while following GPS on th way to Paradise - had planned to check it out and maybe place a cache, until we found that all was already in hand
Loved the spot and symbolism

How magic nature is and how magnificent is this Ghost Gum! We love the philosophical thought in Ian & Penny’s log. Found in company with Ian & Penny on a quiet days caching after the OZ MEGGA Event. Thanks for bringing us to this site.

A very easy find. Obviously we aren't the only ones to find this in the past few days. tftc
4th find of the day, and 2338th total find at 12:05.
Well the Mega event is over, but we're still here. We are having a quiet caching day with Phetlern before they have to head off on their travels.
Isn't nature wonderful, especially how a little seed can grow to become a tree that splits a rock in two. So when you are next 'between a rock and a hard place' remember you CAN slowly overcome the rock.
Took: Nothing
Left: Screwdriver
Thanks The Lucas' for the cache

Found over the weekend with JezzzaXtreme and rubai.
Glancing at the name I thought we'd see a cool forked tree or something, but wow, quite unexpected and cool.
Thanks!

The hard part was finding a way into the area. The best part was the tree and the rock. TheMiniGatherer is refering to this tree as "The Perfect Tree". Thanks The Lucas'.

Thank you for taking us to this unique tree durning our Oz Mega adventure. Just like the Aussie spirit to thrive in impossible circumstances.
Quite remarkable how something so strong can be overcome like that... Very impressive and a great spot to put a cache. Convenient how GZ doubles as a resting place to sign the log too... Found this morning with Svn07.
Cheers The Lucas.

Certainly a very crazy tree indeed, though I think the palm tree up the hill tops it.We parked next to the van of a NZ team and walked up to this one, finding it before continuing on.
Thanks, Jezzza Xtreme.

I was having a bit of a tour of Wagga and its suburbs this afternoon and just doing "caches of opportunity". I'd worked my way into the southern suburbs by now and this one looked interesting so I headed there. After a short walk up the hill, I decided I didn't need my GPSr as the cache name told me all I needed to know about where to look. The container was a nice, quick find and, as I was replacing it, its next visitor arrived in the form of Mr Router.

Thanks again Lucas' - it certainly is a remarkable sight and I'm really glad you chose to mark it with a cache.
