My husband and i are Up from Brisvegas on a weekend away enjoying the sunshine and finding some caches along the way. This was also another target cache for me today and i had so much fun finding the final coordinates and what a interesting place . We did look in a few wrong places at first but used the hint and saw a familiar cache. What a great day to be a geocacher. Thanks for all the fun. Giving a FP for all the fun with this cache
Travelling home with Bennyboy3677 and PeytieCakes stopping for a few caches along the way, this was one of them, thanks for the fun
While staying in Nanango for a few days with my geodog Scruffy , We just had to get out and find a few caches ...Really enjoyed this one. Log is full. All Good .. TFTC ..
After an event in Cherbourg and a walk up Boat mountain, Im spending the day cherry picking caches as I gradually head back home. I had to read the description a few times before I realised what I had to do. A bit of googling helped and I soon found myself where I needed to be. Thanks to the hint the cache was soon in hand.Tftc youngoldfellaFind #5352
That was a lot of fun. Took my kids along for this one and they really enjoyed the hide. Thanks for the fun.
Found on a trip through Broken Hill, Tilpa, Bourke, Cunnamulla, Charleville, Tambo, Blackall and Barcaldine to attend the QOGM at Longreach, then to Emerald, Biloela, Monto, Gayndah and Kilcoy on my way to Brisbane for a few days before a return drive back to Adelaide. After staying t the Sports Grounds campsite at Goovinen overnight, today I made my way to Kilcoy, stopping off intermittently to search for caches enroute. Thanks for the cache Youngoldfella!
Found with PapaGrouch. Took a while to find the correct spot to look, then it was a quick find. Then we checked out the nearby Information and spent a little money. TFTC
Was here looking at the display and wondered why the wasn’t a cache here but after running around town grabbing other caches I looked at this mystery and worked it out very quickly

We did our investigations for this one last night and managed to follow the clues. Once again when we reached GZ Mrs SKI located the clue that led us to the cache.
It was moving day today as we traveled the short distance from Nanango to Kingaroy. The road was too bust to collect caches on the way so we headed straight to the showgrounds where we set up camp. Then it was off to collect as many caches as we could. Puzzles, multis and traditionals on a warm overcast day.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache youngoldfella.

The annual January 1st Road trip.
Collecting Old caches, cool caches and some just for fun. This cache made the cut thanks to being a puzzle.
Made our way to WP2, a bit of uncertainty but we kept our caching eyes open and soon made the find
Had rain shower off and on all day but managed to keep dry as we were lucky.
Thanks for hiding

and now we had here 2 mysteries and 1 multi left. We gave it a go.
Quite successfully! All 3 found!

We did get muggled here by one of the volunteers at the information centre who was avoiding starting work for the day! When we told her we were doing a scavenger hunt, she was very keen for anything that brings people here. Found the cache and replaced without her noticing the hide TFTC!
This was the third and last cache i found today while walking around town.
After reading the description, i decided i knew what's what and proceeded to pace up and down the area and generally all over the place, till the face palm moment and then the log was not long after signed.
Thanks yof for another unique puzzle.
A great idea to reduce muggling in a super busy location.

Found as I meander my way from Adelaide to Cairns.
With no real travel plan and three weeks to get there before I meet up with friends, there has been plenty of opportunity for sightseeing and finding a few selected caches along the way.
This puzzle looked interesting. I had an inkling as to the rough likely location (although I had no idea until I got there as to exactly where it was (does that make sense?). However, once there, the more detailed hint led to a quick find between passing (and somewhat lingering) muggles.

On a weekend getaway with wombles and 1MinnieMoo to celebrate my 10th geocaching birthday! After a bite to eat we stopped off here to create a another smiley for our maps. Night time caching is always fun and guarantees less muggles. Thanks for the cache youngoldfella
Nyssaflutterby, 1Minniemoo and I were on a road trip from north Brisbane to Munduberra and back via Kingaroy. We had a few planned caches and some extras along the way.

Day two of our weekend Road Trip had NyssaFlutterby, wombles and co, and I starting the morning in Mundubbera before heading to Auburn and then beginning our journey back down to reach Kingaroy for the night.
Having enjoyed our time in Auburn, and then Boat Mountain, we were now making our way back towards Murgon and down to Kingaroy for the night.
We had made it into town on the whiff of an oily rag, with my fuel light being on for about 50km. We grabbed fuel then checked into our accommodation before heading out for dinner at one of the local establishments. This one was not too far from said establishment, so once we were fed, we decided to pop around and grab it under cover of darkness.
It didn’t take long to make our find. Thanks for the cache youngoldfella.

Woot woot! Another neat YOF cache. All good here, following on from some super sleuth work we wandered town a bit then made our way to find this cache. Thanks for the fun mystery cache, youngoldfella!
Continuing our way around Kingaroy collecting the caches, this was the next stop. Trekked across the road and round about before arriving at GZ. With a quick hunt, thanks to the hint Caro came up with the goods and we signed our names. TFTC youngoldfella
After doing a virtual tour of Kingaroy via google earth back at our accommodation we wandered over from our previous find. Thanks to the detailed hint we made a straightforward find. We signed all logs today as E.C.K. to save time and space. TFTC youngoldfella.
OMG could I have made this any harder. Long story short I embarked on a mystery tour of the back streets of Kingaroy before revisiting the cache listing.
Aaaargh! Pretty sure I know where to go. Yup, that’s what I’m looking for A peek at the hint and the logbook was in my hand.
Fun puzzle. Dropping a FAVE point here.

The start was quite close to where we were parked so this was the cache we picked to find on a short stop in town. We understood what we were looking for and where but it was unbelievable how efficiently we missed it the number of times we did. We really enjoy this type of field puzzle.. that's not to say we're terribly bright with them at times.. and appreciate the effort involved in creating it. TFTC and the fun youngoldfella.

Staying overnight in Kingaroy tonight on a girls' roadtrip with the geoteens. I had done my homework, so once we unloaded the car we zoomed off to potential gz and were rewarded with a cache. Thanks for the tour and the history!
I was in Kingaroy this morning so had a look after seeing the DNF. Cache is still in place well protected by his like friends. Very well protected in the corner.
Fangsoki and Pprime and I had stopped in Kingaroy for breakfast and I had done some Google search on this one before hand and had pinned down a search spot which appeared to be correct and it didn't take long to locate the cache.

Hi there youngoldfella.
We are on our way to [QOGM](https://coord.info/GC7P875), the Queensland Outback Geocaching Muster, which is being held in Barcaldine. We stopped off in Kingaroy today on our way westward so we could break our journey and log a few geocaches.
Our find total today was 9 caches & we DNF'd 0. Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels as we continue our nomadic wanderings around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Another nice field puzzle that required me to follow a set of instructions. We found the cache because we did as instructed. Nice puzzle. Thanks
Had a few miss starts with this one but soon got our bearings. A quick search once we arrived at GZ soon had the cache in hand. Thanks for your time and effort putting out all these caches YOF.
A quick find today, just arrived in Kingaroy and first stop a cache to behold TFTC
Enjoyed our walk round the town before arriving at the final destination to begin our search. It took us a lot longer than it should have done because we had a preconceived idea of where the cache would be - but got there in the end. TFTC youngoldfella
After we had checked into the local Burke and Wills and made sure our dinner reservation for that night was booked, we were keen to get back out on the streets of Kingaroy to find some more caches. We had to give it some serious thought though, that pool over there in this blistering heat was calling out our name. We turned our backs on it, it was only early afternoon, plenty of time to come back and have a swim later before dinner.
Back in the geo-beast and we were keen for a couple more grabs. We read this description and thought Kingaroy isn’t a big place, we’ll drive around locating what we need. We soon had it nutted and then thought what do we do now and expanded our search having no idea what we were looking for, until finally one of us was bright enough to read the hint and we had it.
Even though we left the pool and aircon behind, we can’t wait to get back to it soon…

TFTC. Arrived in Kingaroy this morning and staying at the Showgrounds. Having found The Old Railway line , I continued my walk by following the directions for this cache. Very quickly I located GZ and after reading some of the enlightening information got down to locate the cached. Quickly in hand, signed log and returned to it hide.
I have replaced the cache with a bison and it is with a host. Should last a bit longer now, I hope.
We decided to spend our long weekend in Kingaroy and Nanango doing some Geocaching. As suggested by the cache owner we used Google Earth to help us with this cache. We were able to find where we needed to be. At GZ we new we were at the right place when we checked the clue. We were unable to locate the cache after a thorough search. We have since spoken to the cache owner who believes the cache may be missing and has given us permission to log this one as a find.
We did enjoy doing this very interesting and different cache - tried to retrieve the cache on Monday but too many muggles nearby having their morning chat together! So returned at 7.45am this morning to find the area muggle free and soon the cache was in hand, log signed and cache returned to it good hiding place. Great historic piece of machinery that must have been such a labour saving device in those days.
We will give you a fav from us for all the excellent planning and implementation that has gone into this great idea cache!
TFTC youngoldfella - still enjoying finding more of your caches!

Replaced with another small sistema. Next time I have to replace this one it will be down sized to a micro. All good.
Took me straight to GZ looked under several rocks near corner stump but no cache, would of been my 7th cache today bit disappointed so we went and had a quick look at the museum.. Hopefully can find it next time
6434 Found by baby&Mrs gopher at 1320. We went for a visit to the browse centre and the Mrs checked for any caches near by. This one came up and with a bit of research of the local district we soon had some numbers. First place we looked. SL Tnx youngoldfella
For some time I've been meaning to get back to visit the Burnett region, and today was the day. An early start was made and a long 12.5 hr day was spent driving 650km through Blackbutt, Yarraman, Nanango, Kingaroy, Murgon, and up to Boat Mountain before returning.
Another puzzle able to be worked out from the comfort of home! Arrived at GZ and the hall was occupied as well as the nearby gift shop. I did my best tourist impersonation before needing to tie my shoe laces .
Thanks **Youngoldfella** for bringing us here, this find makes smilie #3359. Discover our trackable TGQNRV .

Travelling around Australia and now super excited to be finally starting our trek to the Easter Geocaching Event at Alice Springs.
When we arrived in Nanango yesterday we were undecided on how long to stay [?] Maybe 4,5 or even 7 nights. Things to see and sooo many caches in this region.
Today we headed out to Kingaroy with an long list of caches to attempt. We did pretty well with 30finds but the car started coughing and sputtering so we limped into Kingaroy with our fingers crossed. Leaving the Geocruiser to be looked at we headed into town then realised we had left our GPSr in the car so out with the phone and we decided to look for a few more caches we had been studying last night.
Very hot out today but caching was a good way to pass the day. All the caches we found were in good condition. And now the decision seems to have been made we are in Nanango for a week (but without the GeoCrusier[B)] )
This was one of the caches we did using the phone. We knew which street we wanted and an object that was possible. Once we were at GZ description, clues read and off we went searching. Took a bit more effort than we first put in but soon enough there was the cache. Then around the corner to visit the Info centre and cool down in the aircon! NOT they closed as we approached. Bad ending to a Good/Bad day!

This one has been one of the few "non-smileys" in our area for years now, so while out on a Sunday drive we decided to give it a go. After following the clues and reading the hint we soon made the fairly easy find. Fortunately there were no muggles on this very quiet Sunday arvo. Thanks youngoldfella from Bindair and the Princess.
Knowing this area made this an easy cache. I knew exactly where GZ was before setting out. I hope those who seek this cache from outside the South Burnett enjoy the walk and our community. Tftc
In Kingaroy today so checked on this one. All OK. Please use the available space on the log pages. Please do not use one page per finder if there is room on a previous page.

Found, our first ever geocache! 6 yr old still wondering what a muggle is and how we find one!
This was the second day of caching in Nanango for Captain Terror and I. We had come up for Nanango's first event and this morning we were out caching with Bulldozer72. This was the ninth cache for the day for me. It was fun to work out where this one would be.. and even better when we had a previous finder in the car with us. At GZ it was a short search before the container was found. Thanks for the cache youngoldfella.
Its nice to spend a day or two wondering around these old towns. Amazing what can exist just a few streets of the main road. Thanks to the CO for bringing us here. TFTC
Up in the Kingaroy and Nanango area for the Nanango Event. After the Event on the Saturday, spent 3 days chasing caches around the countryside and also in the towns. Seeing the different type of caches the CO's puts out in different locations that you would not do if you did not geocache. Thank you CO for bringing us to these spots. TFTC
Had an enjoyable weekend including attending Nanango's first Ever Event and searching for lots of caches. Saw wonderful scenery as well as wildlife on our travels through the back roads of the South Burnett. Thank you to all the COs who place the caches in these fascinating spots.
What a great and interesting location GZ presented for us. After doing the yards for this one it was great to admire some of Kingaroy's History, including the old building. I am certain that they have much bigger premises these days. Thanks for this cache, its history and lessons. We appreciated being brought here. We found the cache safe and sound and happily signed the logbook. Cheers youngoldfella! [^][^] After replacing the cache we went into the centre of town and supported the local Rotary Club by purchasing our dinner from them, and a cold drink from another group, and enjoyed them while listening to some Christmas Carols in the town centre with the locals. A fun experience.
Having this mystery solved and with time up my sleeve, I decided to take a drive out to Kingaroy. No problem retrieving the cache today, no one was around, except the woodcutters, but they were distracted. TFTC
We enjoy youngoldfella caches. There! Lick-up out of the way! When resting overnight in Kingaroy, I had a look at this one, reading the notes for the mystery while navigating my way on the laptop with my friend, Google Earth. This is our third day in the area, so we have already seen a bit of Kingaroy, and some of the things described were already familiar. Confirmed by Google Earth, we had only to go to GZ to locate the cache.
While we were looking, a lady came out from the rear of the building and called out to us that the information centre was down below. We thanked her for the info, and watched as she walked into said building. Then we located the cache - all in good order.
Found at 1.37pm on 4th December 2015, TFTC.

We are heading to Nanango's first event and even though it is not till Saturday we thought we would stop along the way and the get the caches that often get missed followed by the comment we will do that one, one day. Last night we stayed in Murgon and tonight we are at the showgrounds in Kingaroy. This was one of the caches we targetted and found. Nice hide. Thanks to youngoldfella for its placement and adding to our enjoyment of this location.
Out and about with one half of The Drovers from the South Burnett to Gympie areas for a couple of days caching. We found a variety of caches and containers along the way and plenty of different hides to keep us on our toes along the way and this was one of them.

Drove from Caboolture to cache the hills, travelling 600 kms in a loop & back to Caboolture.
We found a variety of cache hides and containers, some a little tricky to find.
Thanks to the CO's for all the effort of placing and maintaining these caches, we had an awesome 2 days.
Decided to have a go at this puzzle while in the area, and surprised ourselves with a quick find.
It sounded more difficult than it actually was, once we were on site.
