I am archiving this cache as there is a new fence line in place with no where for the cache container to be placed now.
It seems there has been a new fence installed and this may mean the cache has gone missing. I will investigate asap.
This morning though, I'm on a road trip with oz_bean_counter and her Miss 12. Eventually, we'll head from Brisbane to Dalby, then onto nearly Nanango via Crows Nest. I found this geocache literally a decade ago, and while I'm always happy to swing by Jonndaryan on the way through, I had vanishingly little memory of this geocache. But while I wandered around looking, and being generally unhelpful, I took a bunch of photos of the close-up beauty here.
After fixing up coordinates a couple times we still could not find cache. Wondering if we mucked up original answers which ended up being calculated correctly or if the hiding spot has changed? Gave up for today. Feeling defeated.
I wasn't able to make the check sum work and basic arithemetic is my nemesis so no find today.
We enjoyed our wander around this cemetery while finding our answers. Always interesting.
After a while we had ourselves some numbers that matched the checksum. (A good feeling.) Then a wander to GZ and on our 3rd look ‘there’ we spotted it. How did we miss it? Must need glasses.
Thanks for adding more fun to our drive Speedmistress. All is good with this cache.

Brahms6 found this one. Wazza and Kara and Mrs Wazza and Kara some down from Cairns for a couple of days geocaching and we hit the roads. Saw lots of back roads. TFTC.
On arrival at the GZ we found the required information to locate the final coordinates. A quick search and the container was soon located and the log book was signed. TFTC
My husband and I are on a road trip from Brisbane to carnarvon gorge . We stayed the night in Roma and today we are heading home . We love visiting cemeteries and this one is a nicely kept one. The horses next door were watching us gathering the information needed and what a lovely church next door. Thanks for taking us here and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
Had to re-check some numbers as I read the instructions wrong. Twice. After a short search, soon had the cache spotted. Tftc.
After planning a road trip to find a bunch of caches, I headed west and arrived in Dalby this morning.
I had all sorts of problems with this, let's call it holiday brain. I got there in the end and happily have my name on the log.
Thanks Speedmistress for the cache, even though it took forever, I did very much enjoy my time here today.

Today was the second day of my little journey to an around outback Queensland. While I’m not in a hurry, I do have a list of caches that I do want to collect along the way and probably some extras as I see fit. It won’t be hard to continue my challenges of a trad a day and a cache a day challenges for the next few days, I am also hoping to pick up a few new challenges along the way and some target caches too.
My plans today were to walk the caches of Mt. Peel and then head west, plus grab a couple of extras as I passed by, and be in Dalby by night.
This one was on my hit list; I love simple multi’s or at least ones that don’t take a long time to do this seemed like a fun one to do. While gathering the information it was interesting to see the history inside here, deaths of the old, young and unfortunate.
With some form of numbers gathered I sat down to work out the final position. It was a little off but I got the idea as to where it may be. I wondered over and found something that looked suspicious and there it was…. Hint for those playing along, it’s where old meets new, just hanging about.
All good with this cache and with it found and log signed I returned it as found; thanks for placing it here, now it’s time for a couple others on my way west.

Wonderful multi in my favourite location. Especially touched by the ten year old killed by a runaway horse in the 1800s. So much history! TFTC
A cemetery cache is rarely skipped with one of our travelling companions. And this was no exception. A bit of a search and we had the info we needed. TFTC!
GCoven loves cemeteries, so we made this detour - coincidently I love church buildings, especially cute ones like the one across the road luckily these things often come hand in hand, so I get to see all these gorgeous country ones ️
A member of the crew today’s love cemetery caches so this was added. The numbers were gather and to our dismay the GZ has been ‘refreshed’. Confirmed with a previous finder on the hunt today as well and we replaced the cache just further down so that it matches the hint.
After spending a lovely quiet night near Miles we are now heading east again with ilook4geo and picking up a few caches along the way. This was one that we found after going on a little tour of this cemetery. Log and container were in good condition and after we had done the signing duties all was put back as it had been found. Thank you to Speedmistress for adding this cache to the game.
The caching fun goes on with goingplaces2 as we travel around. All containers and logs were found to be good. Names added to this one. All was replaced. TFTC
Heading west for 3 days of geocaching with Brother Colin.
I convinced him to stop here to help my Jasmer Challenge. [^]
Thanks for the cache.

Weekend away with Benny boppers and Lisylou. Beautiful day. Great way to start. Tftc
Fourth day of our visit to Toowoomba to attend Brother Colin's event today and the weather has improved heaps from yesterday so we did some caching around Highfields before heading west and afterwards some rural searching. Thanks to all the COs for placing these caches for our enjoyment.
Thanks Speedmistress for this multi out here. We were in the area after Brother Colin's event in Oakey today and so came for a few caches. This is one we pinpointed because we are trying to do more multis. We made some calculations and investigations and happily came up with the find.
Cheers and happy caching!

Visiting Toowoomba and districts further north and west for a long weekend of caching. The weather has been changeable all weekend however this did not stop us caching. The caches we found were in some great spots and I thank all CO's for placing them there. Apologies for the generic log. TFTC
Staying at The Woolshed for Easter, ducked out to solve with some nice relatives. Answers were easy to find but fell for the same plus minus error. Doh. Found the cache based on photo clues and only then saw our error. TFTC. Respect to the residents of this location.
Found the residents we sought without trouble and proceeded to do the sums. We always appreciate sum checker and realised we’d erred somewhere when we had 104 as our checksum answer??? A quick recheck of the numbers and we identified our arithmetic faux par. Revised figures lead us straight to this well designed cache. Tnln sl TFTC Speedmistress. Fp added for clever poetic clues & well constructed hide xo
Wanted something special for our 9000th find and this was it.
Had a bit of the problem with A. The description indicated a double digit answer and we had a single digit. When we did the sum check we were 11 out so we add 11 to A, did the rest of the sums and found the cache exactly where indicated.

On our way home from QOGM 2018 and picking up a few caches along the way. Nicely kept for its age. Hope cache will last a little longer....

After spending some time at the lovely Broadwater Lake it was time to move on. Stopped here on my way to see the Woolshed and enjoyed this tour of the cemetery TFTC Speedmistress
We came across your cache, Speedmistress, on our way home from this year's QOGM in Barcaldine.
Always enjoy a cemetery meander - we have several of our own. This one did not disappoint, so a Fav awarded. Gathered the numbers and did the sums. All good here.
Log signed and cache replaced at 1:39 PM on October 4, 2018. TFTC.

After a couple of reading errors we worked out the correct coordinates. Kids had a great time. Great cache. Ball bearing left. Nothing taken.
Today's random tour of the downs,
took me to this picturesque little spot [^]
And after a wander around,
I was not making headway,
on finding the cache [:o]
Me head is spinning !! [:o]
So I tried again,
and finally found the uncles and aunt
Yes !! There are two uncles and one aunt
With all the info finally found,
I wandered around,

We had a enjoyable stroll around here collecting the answers to the questions. Very well put together. We stumbled on our maths at one point but that was quickly corrected. Thanks Speedmistress for the cache

Another great well planned multi which, despite a couple of 'think about it!' spots works exactly as planned.
Made our mark & replace as found.

On the way to the Jondaryans Woolshed we stopped here. We had heard of this cache at the Dönerstagevent in Toowoomba. In the first attempt, we were unable to find the right information or to evaluate it correctly. So first aborted and later postponed.
After a relaxing lunch and a very nice stay in Jondaryans, we stopped again on the way back and there, at once, the newly compiled data gave us useful coordinates.
Now we could easily find the cache. Thank you for showing the location and the cache.
Greetings to the owner and thank you for the nice conversation at the event.

Heading north for the Alice Springs Event at Easter we explored this area using geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way and this was one of them. Interesting multi, did not quite work out as intended, but worked it out none the less.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment

Nice day for a wander, haven't stopped in this area before today. Found the cache, signed log, TFTC.
Needing to find an "R" for my April challenge, I was lucky that I still had this one relatively close to home to find. MissLill and I pulled up and started the search straight away. It wasn't long before we had all the answers, the numbers added up and we were able to make our way to GZ. Hmmm... what is that? surely not...yep, it was the cache. We signed (I took the TB) and rehid with a bit more of a cover. TFTC Speedmistress, it is always fun completing these multis,
I quite enjoy these types of caches. Love the history. We fudged one of the figures to get the right answer so unsure of where we went wrong. But all's well that ends well. Thanks Speedmistress.
A rather odd configuration for a cemetery, split into sections like that. Two markers for A had us confused for a bit, then we couldn't get enough 9s to make it work... But with a bit of guessing and the checksum, we found a likely enough location and The Marble soon found the cache, though we couldn't match it to the description and hint... All good with the cache and TB and a nice walk around the cemetery. TFTC, Speedmistress. =^.^=
We were on a mission to find our 500th cache today - but decided to make it a fun family day by caching along the way and having a bbq lunch as well
This was an interesting cache - love the ones where the kids can walk around and help find the answers! keeps them occupied and interested as well! We crunched the numbers and after a rethink about how the sums were meant to be calculated got the right checksum. Off the the cache- with an easy find there.
Thanks for the cache today - interesting and enjoyable (and no magpie's today!) [^]
(Didn't see a trackable today)

Stopped in here on our way back from dropping geokid off at camp. Found said "freaking evil magpie" which almost made us make a swift trip back to the car but quickly located rather large "magpie defence system" sticks we continued on to solve the puzzle. A slight mis-calculation resulting in us re-reading the puzzle and once we worked out where we went wrong we soon had the cache!!
TFTC , great puzzle!! Magpie's definitely put a downer on it though!! Maybe try retrieving cache NOT in spring - or make sure you pick up a nice big stick as you walk in!!!!

Oh my dear faeries!!! This one has been a bit of an on going hunt for me Last time I was in the neighbourhood, three months ago, I managed to find out all about aunties and uncles. Mary Anne and Florence. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to pay my respects, so I remembered them all by taking a few photos.
On the second visit I thought that maybe I could happily pay my respects quickly on the way to camp. Hmm, it seems that impatient munchkins and the freaking EVIL MAGPIE had other plans I had a small look but giving into the forces of nature I chose to try again at a better convenience.
Woohoo!!!! Third time lucky today armed with a small branch to wield off the flying DEVIL, madman04 and myself managed to locate the well hidden beasty. We quickly nabbed the cache and retreated to the safety of Spangle, left our scribble in the log and then while madman had my back against the flying evil, I replaced the cache as it had been found.
Thanks for the cache Speedmistress It's nice to see that the occupants of this plot have a super zealous cache/cemetery guardian!

TFTC. Made a basic calculation error. Back tracked, recall and an easy find. Left a TB.
That was quite a challenge for ft. Very enjoyable once we completed the maths involved. Good luck to others that attempt.
I had mis read the calculate the new co-ordinates. After going away and having lunch, and re reading the clue list, I saw my mistake. But I still have issues with the checksum as I figured it should be 107.
Found it quickly this time with a little cacher seeing it at the same time. This one was great fun.

Whilst doing a pjarma day cache hunt this was my last of three, I'm sure I got all the numbers needed and crunched some numbers, I'm sure I was looking in the right area but no luck this time!
Stopped on way home from lovely day at Jondaryan for geo mums bday and thought I deserve a cache today. Read about this one and love a good stroll through old graveyards, it's always interesting to speculate on what went on before you. We found all the waypoints, collected the data then the magpie started swooping, so that turned the math and coord calculating into a duress situation. Never added so fast. Big geokids protected us with stick waving and we zoomed in on GZ. We all spied the hide simultaneously, marked the log and raced back to the car. Adventure all round. TFTpuzzle.
Out and about on a wet day, we have wanted to come and grab these ones for a little while and today was the day. Pulling up here the geokid spotted one of the likely dates within seconds, he was on a roll and found all the names needed. While working out the final number I began walking, wish I hadn't because we were walking away from GZ the whole time! Oh well double back and there it was. Cache and log in great condition, TFTC Speedmistress
Sorry to say we had no luck here today. Even with a PAF to the previous finder.
We had the right coords, and confirmed with PAF, found the likely spot, but no luck with the container.
May need a maintenance check if possible.

While up in Toowoomba visiting a friend, I found myself with a spare couple of hours before needing to pick up another friend and heading home to Brisbane. What better idea than a small road trip, and I think I'll head out to Jondaryan There's 4 caches in a neat little bunch right there [^]
Last stop, and I am a fan of wandering around cemeteries [^] I had the place to myself, so had no trouble finding all the WP's and getting the info I needed, then I took a seat in the shade to crunch the numbers. Mmmm, slight problem, the checksum isn't working Another think, but still not making sense Check some photos I'd taken, some Google searching, redo the numbers, but no, STILL WRONG! Argh! Time for a PAF, but trouble is, he found it nearly two years ago! Thankfully he remembered, and gave me the help I needed, and I wandered over to GZ, where it was a quick find. TFTC, Speedmistress.

Felt awful retrieving this one in the middle of the night, but what can I say, there were muggles during the day.
Will we? Won't we? Couldn't decide whether to tackle this 1 or not as some of the logs suggest people have had trouble with it. Pulled up and decided that seeing we were here we would have a try. Everything worked out perfectly well first time and then a quick find was made. Thanks.
This one took some time due to recalculations and then to make the find.TFTC

Took a little while with a few recalculations and a regroup with a PC. Beautiful afternoon.
I really enjoyed doing this multicache with the geodaughter DropBear90.
It's always interesting going through the old cemetaries and this certainly deserves a favourite from me for its inception and work to get to the final GZ.
Thanks, Speedmistress, for the cache.

Having got the Friday off work, we chose to make a four-day weekend out of ANZAC Day and head West. With the plan to catch up on a couple Caches in the Bunya Mountians, we chose the Jondaryan Woolshed to camp at and circle out from there. Trouble was, there were too many around here to be focussed.
From our camp, we headed into Dalby for a day of driving around geocaching.
On our way home from Dalby, with the sun setting on the evening of the previous day, we decided that, by the time we got the fire stoked for dinner, that it was too late to scratch our heads with the maths & puzzles for this one.
We took the information back with us to camp (scribbled on the back of a receipt found in the GeoTruck) and did many, many calcs and many, many head scratches. Finally, after many glasses of scotch and Port, we had a set of coordinates we were happy with. It would wait, along with our hangovers, until morning.
We arrive bright and early and think we are on it but the coordinates we had calculated the night before were out (must have been that last glass of Port...) but we found it anyway!
Yay team, and YAY for Scotch and Port, otherwise we'd have never fcound it!

Staying at Jondaryan Woolshed for a few days
Found this one while out caching with Mercs1
Tricky part to this cache but finally after about 20 minutes we worked it out
Now why had we not done this first up as fellow cacher Marcia had suggested that answer when working out .
Left geo coin
Took nothing
Took other trackables for a visit
tftc we just love old cemeteries

Thanks. Normally I skip this type of cache but it I'd always satisfying when you actually get them.
This one had us scratching our heads. After getting all the answers, we went back to the geomobile to hash out the maths, but we just couldn't figure out Q3. In the end, I went and searched based on some log comments while the geowife kept hacking away at the maths. Came up with the goods, but it kind of felt like a hollow victory. I'm going to do all the maths again, and see if I can hash out Q3. TFTC Speedmistress!

My old primary school teacher 60 years ago would say READ THE QUESTION so what did we do we subtracted instead of adding( we discovered this error when we got home that night.) and would have ended up in the paddock across the road. As this was the second of 16 caches we planned on hunting for this day we decided to move on. We will return now we have discovered our error. TFTC.

As with other caaches we had trouble as well with the last answers, however after contemplation, having trouble reading the last headstone, and trying another number, it became clear. We spent way to much time on this cache and were quite late when we left. Nearly dark but worth the effort.
Q3 had us thinking as well. It took as a fair while to solve this one. One headstone is quite worn and we struggled in the late afternoon to read it. We initially got a wrong number and had to rethink it to get the right figure. We were pretty excited when we worked it out as it was getting rather cold. Thanks for the challange Speedmistress
Found with a muggle friend. I really enjoy these ones in country cemetaries - fascinating history. We had bit of trouble with Ques 1 and 3. Couldn't find the plot number and came up with a couple of possible answers for 3. Would have been stuck if not for the checksum. Both possible co-ords however had us in the paddock across the road. Checked and rechecked calls. Last resort was to read some logs. Thankfully we didn't have to look too far. Brother Colin also found himself in the paddock across the road....ahhh yes add, NOT subtract. Got it!! Cold, windy morning...was lucky to be able to sign the log after freezing my fingers collecting and rechecking answers. We both loved it. TFTC.
Great cache clews were perfect. TFTC. Left bell took QPCU lanyard

Up on the range visiting my GeoMum for Xmas
Thought I'd pop out this way to grab a few caches.
So I wandered over there and then I wandered over here, then over to another spot and checked this out and I matched the checksum Everything was there and I had no difficulty finding the answers if you know what you are looking for.
Off to the cache and the GPSr pointed towards the paddock across the road [?] WHAT[?] Answers all correct and I checked my calc's and I should add that not minus it you idiot. I soon found it.
Great hide and the cache is in good condition.

Clue 3 very difficult to make sense of on phone! Unable to locate due to time restraints and inability to understand clue 3 - will revisit this one in the future!
We looked long and hard for this. Could not get clue 3 . Get this one next visit with Colshell.
Just like Xusia, we also parked very close to GZ. We did the puzzle but were not too sure about the first question as there was no burial plot number that we could see. Maybe it was the wrong grave. Ended up with wrong co-ords but the hint helped with the find. We had parked our motorhome on the side road and tried to do a blokky but the road was too wet therefore Mr S had to reverse our 'long load and trailer' about a half K to get back out on to the main road again.

Found this one eventually. Ironically we had parked the car less than 5 metres from GZ, then went walking doing the puzzles. But this wasn't a problem, of course because that's what this cache is all about. I too had a problem deciphering step 3 of the puzzle, but eventually came up with an answer that worked. Our final coords turned out to be about 10-15 metres off, but Mrs X and her sharp eyes found the hide. TFTC. Took pink plastic peg, left QPCU lanyard.
Staying in Jondaryan so had to knock this one off the map. Got all gun-ho and blasted off the first day but had to wait for some mounrers around a relatively new grave to leave before I felt comfortable trotting merrily around the place. Found all the clues easily enough, but as for getting the right numbers from the questions, you have me beat Speedmistress. I gave up and instead tried the 'that place looks about right' method. I decided a PAF was in order later that night and left the cache to be attempted later. Today I threw the cousin in the passenger seat and went too my acquired co-ords. Turns out they were a bit wrong. I played with the numbers until the map showed something more positive. Arrived at GZ, not 10m from where I was looking the first time and made an easy find. I would very strongly suggest re-jigging the questions as it seems a few have had issues at WP3. Otherwise, a great multi, TFTC.
We had fun with this multi followed by a divorce. Ms M hadn't been involved enough in the original calculations and when I finally let her have a go she pointed out the error of my ways with alacrity. We still ended up with three possible answers and we wouldn't have been able to come up with the result without the checksum. Nice idea but Q3 still remains a mystery 3*9 can't equal forty something.

Maintenance run by Muff1: The log book is good to go thanks to Krossbo and Muddtrax. We have removed the wet log and left their replacement log.
Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
Well it was getting late now and the temperature was rapidly dropping in the wet
We worked out all of the clues (thanks to Fangsoki) and quickly located the cache after a false start

This ended up being our final cache for the day - for it took the wind out of our sails.
It was quite brisk by the time we got to the cemetery - and it was getting colder by the minute. We set about collecting clues - which we managed to locate. We had an issue at the 3rd WP - I just did not understand what was going on. We decided to utilise the cheksum. Off and up the road we went... Hmm Fangsoki Fail. My companions and I were getting colder by the minute - but we (I? ) was determined to get the final. Then I saw my error - and bingo.. we found it. JOY!
We signed the logbook - which was very wet. (Sorry Speedmistress - was out of notebooks) and re-hid it. About 20 minutes down the road, it clicked about WP3. Oh well.. I got there in the end. TFTC Speedmistress

Found this one with Muddtrax after finding and working out the clues. Found it ok but the cache was wet so we replaced the logbook with a dry one. TFTC SL
Found with Krossbo. We walked around and collected the clues, then went back to the geomobile to work out the co-ords and enjoy a well earned cuppa When Krossbo said we had to go some 700+m to the cache location , it didn't seem quite right [?] So after looking at all the numbers again & doing the sums correctly this time we wandered over to the cache (which wasn't 700+m away) and found a very sneaky little hide [^] The cache was wet so we dried it out & replaced the log book. Whilest doing all this we had a visit from some friendly chickens!! One even flew up onto the bonnet of the geomobile to check us out!! TFTC!!

This was a great team effort. We were almost stumped on the last one but eventually nutted it out. Nice puzzle. Thanks.
Great walk around the old folk. Just about the right size for a cemetery to be interesting. Any bigger and it is just a cemetery, but the small ones are a history lesson in themselves.

Found with 2 friends of geokids and other family members. Had a look around the cemetry while there, but rain coming so had to move on. Enjoyed this puzzle compared to other.
