I'm on holidays in New Zealand. Will put a smaller container in place when I get back in a couple of weeks...

Sorry to say mate but I think this has been muggled. I searched every boulder within 60 feet of gz and no luck. I hope I am wrong...if I am just switch this log to a dnf.
I think this one is gone. I looked for nearly 15 minutes with a friend. We checked every location even remotely implied by the hint.
We searched and searched....found site from the pix but no cache. We did stumble across a bat carcass. EW! Oh well, maybe next time!
My daughter and I ran over to find this cache while the rest of the family continued walking through the gardens. Can't believe that this cache is located anywhere near the original hiding spot as the original hiding spot doesn't exist. At least as pictured on the cache page.
We didn't look too much further afield as it looked like others had been searching there recently. Oh well...

This certainly is one big exposed cache spotted from miles off. Great part of Syydney and where I often go for walks when up here.
thanks

GPS was a little off today but found it with some clues from other logs. Great to find a nice big cache.
What a beautiful park. Even in the rain it's nice to just look. Good hide but if there was a box it is no more. As it gets wetter there should be a box or at least another bag. Took a TB & geocoin; left two geocoins. Only saw one other TB - Mafia Duck. Thanks for the cache!
Though I'd check out the Botanical Gardens today and drop off a couple of trackables at this cache that i'd brought up from Melbourne. The gardens are great. It was pretty quiet too so didn't have any trouble finding and retrieving the cache. Dropped off Denver Geocoin and Mafia Duck TB. Took Java Junky. TFTC.
Dropped off Piglet TB after taking his photo at the Sydney opera House nearby. Best wishes for your next mission, Piglet.
Taking Crabby TB for a ride to see if he can meet some crabby people.

A beautiful sunny day in the Sydney Botanical Gardens !
Had to keep on eye on the muggle sleeping on the bench nearby.
Took nothing & left nothing (still on my 'L' plates)

This was nice and fun to visit, beautiful weather but found a moment without outsiders nearby. Thanks for a great cache! TB dropped.
Quick find, just had to try and avoid the drunks. Absolutely beautiful park and HUGE Cache. “GeoDaisy Jr†seems to be MIA. Along with “Tanner’s U.S. Best Friend†and “TRAVEL Australiaâ€. TFTC
so many muggles around here - one of them was a friend of mine, I met her by coincidence and she was a bit confused about what I'm doing here...
the largest cache I found so far - thank you!

I had to come back, after I had found out that this cache was back on line. Found easy. Had to hide it a bit better when I left. TFTC TNLN SL
We're on holiday in Australia at the moment. The Botanical gardens were on our list of "must sees" in Sydney, so we decided to drop off our travel bug Zwergli here. Let's see how long it takes him to get back to Holland!
The most difficult part of this cache was retreiving it without any muggles around - boy are those gardens popular!
We're taking Teenie Wahine and her pal with us on our travels.

..what a beautiful park! and a large cache so I can launch my Twin Koala TB's Melbourne and Sydney...Walked around the park and back to the Opera House...what a gorgeous spot. Dropped offf two TB's that are in the same bag...Twin Koalas, and.....my heart and feather charms...SL, TFTC.
What great cache! We appreciated the effort that was taken in preparing this huge container that's hidden in a well-placed loction, complete with good sat-coverage and a helpful hint. The adjacent rockpile was used as our seat & desk and provided the perfect camoflage for a couple of people just enjoying the shade.
We dropped off Teenie Wahine TB and her new-found friend from the South Coast and wish them well on their travels together.

A quick find once no-one was around. Fortunately today was very windy near the water so fewer muggles. What a huge cache for this location! Took 2 coins, left 2 coins. Took bottle opener and left TB Buddy. Grabbed but left TB Paint the Town. Thanks for this cache AngryKoala.
TOOK J7T2H2 BUG LEFT GDCQKA PAINT THE TOWN BUG. Somehow the GDCQKA Paint the Town bug I dropped off was logged by another Geocacher, but i placed it there and took J7t2h2 keep on smiling.
Dropped off Skippy Travel Bug and took Turtle Travel Bug. A top spot for a cache, thankyou.
Definitely one of my all-time favorite spots in Sydney, good to bring Ms. Special K here who is visiting from Singapore. Great to have a cache here. We were quite surprised about the size. Good to see that it hasn't been muggled even though its in such a prominent location.

Went caching a few hours after my arrival in Sydney. What better way to start my 2 weeks vacation in this beautiful city .. took a leisurely walk in the park and found the cache very quickly .. can't agree more with Team Vainui that I will enjoy the serenity of the park. TFTC
Very impressive - just to find a hiding place for such a big cache in such a public place.
0paco0 and Red over from NZ - noothing traded but signed log.
Love the Darwin display nearby. Understand the angry koala was in the trees that were lopped back.

Dropped off BoyScout53 and GeoDaisyJr coins
GeoDaisy wants to return to Sydney by 2011, but travel the world first. She would like to hitch a ride with any passing Vogon needing a passport for their next stop.
Took YellowBuggyTB and CoathangerTB. We will help them complete their missions.

Found where it was but had to come back later as they were lopping branches and I could not access the site.
A surprisingly large box.
Did not see any angry Koalas.

Since arriving in Australia, I've been hunting a regular sized container to drop off several trackables; glad to have found this one with a quirky name. Great walk in the garden before finding the cache. Find #636
Wow ! This was the best find ever. Thanks. The StanleyGang found this one easy and 2 other gangs had found it on the same day. We took the travelbug but nothing else. We didn't have anything to match the good quality things in the box.
Took a walk through the gardens to this cache after a stop by the opera house to take many many photos ... well ... I've been taking many photos all over the city. A great big cache that I managed to find unseen by a couple of ladies having a good old natter on a nearby bench,
What a large cache for such an open and public spot, well done. It was a lovely day to be in the gardens too.

Great cache GP! My second cache, although I didn't expect to find a cache and know who put it there!
Easy to find, though I hope not toooo easy. Lot's of peeping eyes around...

What a whopper of a cache. Found easily but i'm afraid the rocks hiding it as shown in the spoiler photos are no longer there. the only thing covering it is some very wet paper bark. It seems to be doing the job OK but someone could easily step on it. As I was sitting completing the cache business some little kids came along to jump from rock to rock. How long will the cache last like this who knows ,you may want to add a few more rocks.
also not sure why it is a letterbox cache. I have done one of these before but there is no longer a stamp in the cache.
There are loads of TB's listed as well but I only found 3. I have taken these to keep them moving, as the owners requested.
Have visited these gardens ever since i was a kid. it's always pleasant down here.

Visiting Oz for first time. Saw bats, weird birds with long beaks stealing food from cafe, eels, couples getting married, cockatoos, huge scary spiders, aboriginal man with digeridoo. TFTC, took Jeep TB : )
As this is such a lovely location and large enough to hold lots of TBs, I made a detour to drop off 2 TBs
Found this fairly easily - not much trouble retrieving as only 'lunch-time' Muggles around mid-week!
Dropped off 'Nellie the Elephant' TB and took nothing.
Cache returned to hiding place and left as I found it - i.e. well hidden!

I had no trouble finding the cache, but felt very exposed despite, or maybe because of, the lack of people in the park. I scrawled a quick log message, reconcealed the cache and beat a hasty retreat.
Visiting from the USA, all the caches found so far around the city have been micros, It was good to eventually fine such a nice richly filled 'regular' cache. Which gave me to opportunity to off load some of the TB I brought over f from the US.
As per requested I removed 3 TB's and left 3
Thanks for the excellent cache.

This is a fantastic spot, nicely hidden but still easily found and such a big box. When walking to the cache spot we noticed a huge spider in it's web on one of the bushes, never see them that big where we come from!

Great big city cache...wahoooo! Loved it! Found with the womble woman on our second day on Oz...Took a coin and left a TB.. TFTC
Visiting from St Louis Missouri, USA. Had a ball in this park. The birds where landing on us as we fed them the fruit that was falling off the trees, kids loved it! Cache was not covered at all so we replaced more discretely. Left Sydney coin, speedo TB and Bird TB. Took 2 other TB's. Hope our TB's go far! They are copies since the first tags were muggled.
YAY my first inner city cache
and yeah id agree with a previous visitor, id classify this as a cache on the larger side of normal
but nice hide.
hopefully it doesnt get muggled or gardenered.
got to love the botanic gardens.. such a nice tranquil place in the middle of all that city and you can barely hear it.
left the geocoin and took the lighthouse TB
hopefully someone moving a distance will pick up the canadian micro and get him to see more of Aust.

Took a rest from the heat so that we looked less conspicuous when we finally went to uncover the cache. Took red ball, left bead necklace. TFTC
It wasn't too hard to discover the cache, but I had to wait for about an hour before all the Muggels were gone. Wasn't to hard to lie in the sun.
I placed bubbles the waiter's friend in the cache, because I'm leaving Oz soon. He was a reliable trevelmate during my stay in Australia and helped with a lot of bottles. Hopefully he kann travel on with somebody else.

This is a really lovely spot and I can see why it's so hard to get a good hide around here - those pesky gardeners are sooooo diligent, keeping everything totally neat and tidy everywhere! I think you have found the ideal location that they won't be likely to disturb.
Can I perhaps suggest a smaller container though? I felt a bit conspicuous with such a large box on my lap and I would say it is "large" size rather than "regular". Something just a bit smaller would be quicker to extract and quicker to cover completely again but still good for TBs of various shapes and sizes plus odds and ends of swaps.
That said, I managed quite ok on this beautiful autumn morning although there were the usual joggers and walkers plus one guy doing his tai-chi on the next path!
Swapped 2 TBs: took Vroom car and Dyermkrs geocoin and left Old Mac and Scubacrazy's Paper geocoin. There are NO OTHER trackables in there now so maybe some of those showing here need to be marked as missing.
This is such a great location for a cache to showpiece Sydney at it's best. I hope it lives long and safely TFTC Angry Koala - it's tops.

Our first family find. Easy to find and contains lots of fun items. Took a travel coin and left a travel bug.
Fancy arriving the day after Angry Koala restocked the goodies. We're the first ones to sign the new log book. It's a lovely location. TNLN.
We visited the place on March 12 in the morning but there was no cache and I didn't check this later.
OK - all stocked up and full of goodies.
Lets see how we go. It would be a shame not to keep this going, as the gardens are a fantastic place to visit in a busy city...

Thanks
Thanks
Damn - this the second time this has happened.
May have to look somewhere else...
It was in such a great spot, with no danger of doing any damage to the Gardens...

Found this cache as we were working our way to the Sydney Opera House. Looked like cache had just been ransacked. We put cache back together as best we could, but TB's and geocoins identified in the cache summary are all missing. Isn't it a shame we live with so many fools. Sydney is a beautiful place to visit. We'd love to spend more time in this area if and when we are lucky enough to return to Australia. Thanks. Team Below Par (from Arizona, USA)
This was a nice easy find in a peaceful park. T: TB Aussie Honu & Ruby GeoGem which will be moved southwards or maybe to the coast. TFTC
Nice hike in garden, our first find in Sydney while on holiday. Dropped off a Aussie Honu TB from Guam, goal is to see the world.

Ok, all swapped out. After reading the last log, it appears some of the bugs were UK bugs. That's cool. They'll head on back to Cali with us. tftc.
