Solved some time ago but no joy tonight at GZ, assuming I had the correct location.
In Greymouth with TheWanglers on a caching weekend. It wasn't in the middle of where our numbers pointed us.
Uncle Google is always a great asset and he helped me solve this ( used to work at Whitcoulls many moons ago when the first Hairy book came out !!!) loved revisiting the book and coming up with the solution - as it was late evening and still rainiong on and off there were very few muggles around to see what we were up to - cache soon found log signed yay another mystery solve thanks for the cache
Another cache solved in the comfort of the armchair and heater and it was now time to grab the box. Always a worry if you have done it right and when the hand hit a familiar surface of a cache container we breathed a sigh of relief. TFTC Well it looks like it turned out to be "Childs Play" for us, wish all the puzzles would work out this way
Solved a while back. Popped out tonight to collect the final cache under the cover of darkness. Cheers Gav [9486]
Solved this a few days ago before our west coast trip. Read a lot of these stories to the junior Biggles team over the years. Nice one. No problems with the cache either. TFTC, Biggles.
Nice puzzle solved last night whilst on business in Greymouth and a quick retreival this morning. TFTC TNLNSL
Solved the puzzle without much trouble, I don't know how many times I read this story to my boys when they were growing up, alas all our copies have now gone and I had to resort to another method to get the info. TNLN SL TFTC
#1589 (1/25 on a third day on the Coast). Good to start the day off with another puzzle we solved some time ago. No children in evidence this morning (week day; rather drizzly).
We still had the book in our home library after buying it to read to our grandchildren, so the puzzle was soon solved. Thanks for the puzzle and the cache.
Finally a mystery cache!!! After over a hundred traditionals!!! And luckily we were in a library so the riddle was solved fast!!!

Went out of the gate and off for a walk, down past the park and bandstand to the cache beyond...
... and dropped off the Dutch Comedy Bear to keep Hairy company.

We knew exactly what we needed to solve this puzzle .. but unfortunately didn't have it in Jnr's "collection" - Mrs B did the "required" next day at Playcentre (the kids thank you!) When it came to "finding" the Jnr members of our party saw other attractions .. so Mr B did a solo effort. A great place for a kids cache .. TFTC
2783. What a good puzzle - we had everything we needed to solve it quickly. We had never noticed those numbers before and since returning home have pointed them our to our 3 year old grand-daughter who was most excited about it.
A good hiding spot for the cache.
We took the Pink butterfly geocoin.
Thanks

Given we have an under two there was no problem getting the source data other than having to wait until he was up and about rather than being in bed. A quick find in light drizzle.

Busy little playground… fortunately we managed to grab the cache without being disturbed by the junior muggles and their minders. Nice puzzle… solved by Mini YuGeo who still has a copy of the book.

Google was not my friend for this one so decided a quick visit to the library at lunchtime was needed. Got about halfway there and found myself walking past Whitcoulls so popped in there instead
Nice puzzle, TFTC.
Nice puzzle, TFTC.
Hairy Macleary and his friends have not moved house, but his cache has had to. Have made some slight changes to the puzzle and await ZG to confirm that the new final location is OK. Should be good to go for this long weekend.
'tis true that it is gone. Will replace or move in the next few weeks. May have to constuct a trickier hide.
Solved the puzzle weeks ago - the cache was an easy find. Only one muggle family at play. Took two geocoins on a journey to Dunedin or Nelson. Thanks and cheers from Grandalf(1190)
easy code however about 5 muggles were around so had to be careful. left masonic geocoin and watch out coin
Mrs Explorer did the research on this puzzle - we have most of these books but not this one. Mr Explorer did the numbers. Found at gz in the dark on way back to motel from dinner. -TB. TFTC.
Solved the puzzle at home - nice one it is too. Not many children playing here at night so the collect was quick. Thanks.

Visited during the day, but there were too many muggles about for us to risk going in for it. So we came back at 8pm at night. Nice puzzle. We got the answers from one of the younger Pinots books. + Nims Island magnet -White Jeep TB. TFTC
