I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
Hi stegan
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.
Regards

This is a find of sorts.. After heading north to Wyndham looking for some better weather, it was atrocious in Invercargill, I found similar after only 10 minutes soooo caching in the rain til the library opened. I was on the doorstep with sodden sneakers in time and went straight to the hint but alas the cache had disappeared. The librarian confirmed this as she hadn't seen the item for a while. Not sure what is going on there she will try to find out and will mention it to a relative of the CO who may turn up in the near future, cheers anyway!
Visited at the correct time, the place was not open and looked empty. Is this cache still active?
A quick trip after tea to get to the library to snaffle this one...
Well that was the plan until we STRUCK GOLD!!!
We met the CO's mum, and picked her brain for 2 of the local knowledge caches as well, and then she directed us to a very handy book for the 3rd.
So although disappointed that she didn't carry around baby photos of the CO(mind you didn't ask!), we are very thankful for meeting her!!
Off home to crunch the puzzle numbers and will be back another day!

Finally got the timing right to stop in and collect this one. Cache still in place and in good condition. TFTC
On my way back to the farm I was at for a camp in the weekend to drop off some stuff. Noticed that it was the right day for this. Place not too busy, located the right reference item and checked out a book to read if I end up waiting for my hubby in town.
I wonder what the librarians think about all is interesting people being drawn to that particular title. From reading the logs I know some are in on it, but are they all?
Mildly amused that the container (which was added/replaced by a previous finder) has the swag in a plastic bag - if this container is ever exposed to water it's unlikely it will be available for some time. Log book is quite happy in the outer container and diesn't need to be in the inner container.
Thanks for the dot day smilie

I just happened to pick a day to explore Wyndham when the library was open. I expected some more cover as I walked up to the library, but the cache was in direct view of the librarian! I attempted stealth, but my quick chat to the librarian on the way out confirmed she knew exactly what I was doing. TFTC!
A previous log helped find the GZ and a helpful accomplice helped find the cache. Nice one mate. SL and returned to hide. tftc
*Co'ods will place you across the road, although it's the Library that has drifted, not the cache. It has wery limited opening hours and the **free phone 0800 732 732** will give you the opening times. Yep, log and swag back in bag. *
27 Oct 15 A not so subtle park'n'grab. Cache demurely held on lap while nicely chatting with muggle-knitter and an accomplice? to the crime/cache librarian. Swapped out baubles for baubles, signed log but did not check-out cache. TFTC

My mission is my first 3 day tramp on Stewart Island. The Seagnoid has Xmas off so we are off on an epic adventure with Zara around the South Island. The Seagnoid is navigator and scribe, Zara and I have teamed up and Im cache logger. Its The Catlins to Bluff today, so lets get going!
The building is closed, the library has moved to Balaclava Street. See the photos. But you say we can log it for free, so logged it is. Thanks. Cheers

TaybeeDragon and I are off for a three day walk on Stewart Island. But we have a camper, so once you add in getting there and back, it's a three week trip. Day 9: Catlins to Bluff.

I GOT IT! It's been 6 years that I have waited to find this cache. Every time I'm down this way the days are always wrong. Today I was thinking of going through the Catlins but remembered what day it was and made my way to the Library. A quick look around the sections for the right number and it stood out. The librarian was looking at me when I found it. She knew what I was doing. Walked into the corner to sign and then replaced with her saying a lot of people had been around lately to find it. Told her it was years for me to get the timing right for this special book awesome. Thanks very much. Helps clear my map.
NEW LIBRARY AT 41 BALACLAVA STREET! Same hours as in cache description.
Waited around for the doors to open, after getting most of the other caches in town, found the required item and then had a chat with the Librarian about some local locations.
PS Felt a bit weird, being a Library staffer myself, to be standing around waiting for the doors to open like some of the 'regulars' do at my workplace.

Unfortunately I arrived after hours...and the coordinates were pointing to the old library...not sure if the cache has moved to the new library....
This was great fun to find, I went straight there and watched Mumander and Mr Potty search. Excellent cache. It was a busy afternoon there but I guess everyone has to fit it in to the limited hours.
OK, wrong day and first we thought wrong building as the library has moved. But the cos father told us that the cache has moved as well - so have to come back.
Yes, finally got a day of work and was able to make my way out this way (with granville86a going for another cache, lol) to log this as found, been looking at this one for over a year, Thanks for the cache, was a busy day in the library but was able to be sneaky and grab and log. brillant
We have been wanting to get this one for years but have never been here at the right time. Today was the day. TFTC
yay it was our lucky day as it was opening in 5 liked this one it made me laugh. TFTC
Was finally here at the right time so ducked in to get this one with ingidayna. A clever idea. TFTC

Finally able to get this cache. Unfortunately Big Wig from SDC on goodwill visit to library happened on me while signing log book. Had to explain geocaching. Got convert!
Finally managed to get this smillie. It has been a real challenge getting here during open hours. A nice chat with the library staff who were most helpful with some other local caches. TFTC
We've been waiting for years to find this cache. None of our trips south have ever been on the right day at the right time, but today was the day! The friendly librarian pointed us in the right direction, and the cache was quickly found. TFTC
Found it today. Had to return when found it was inside. My kids & wife had fun finding it.
Wahoo - found it, great holiday activity for the kids - just need to figure out how to work the GPS for the Wildlife refuge one now.
Had arranged the timing of our south caching trip to sign off this elusive or hard to get cache. Our hopes saddly dashed as the library door had a note attached advising it was closed for the day. Dash *#@%&.
Nice hiding place for this cache.
Joined the library whil,e we were there.

What a cool cache, we couldn't believe that it has been since May last year that this has been found! We were out for a day's caching today and thought that today was the perfect day to grab this cache. We have lifted 2 GC's to help them along in their travels. TFTC [^]
Was a busy cache today, I was here at 2.35pm and was second find for the day, I took the CITO G.C. TFTC
I found this one today too! Unfortunately by the time I got there all of the GCs were gone What an awesome cache - there were muggles around - but not in that particular area - so I was able to log in peace and get the cache back in place unnoticed!
I was driving to Invercargill, this cache is slightly out of the way, but then again it was Tuesday afternoon and I could not resist a visit. I did have to ask for help to find the cache . Good one, a great effort and a most original hide indeed! [^]
Well this was a great cache, good thinking. I took my son with me today and he found it and was quite happy with that.
TNLN Thanks
TNLN Thanks
Hey this is the first time I've ever been able to log the cache at the same time as signing the book. Neat, thanks.
Well, that was different and a novel idea.Used the clue and found readily.A few children doing their homework but trled to be discreet.L shoelaces. TFTC
We were in this area on Sunday and decided to come back on Tuesday at the stipulated time.A novel idea for a cache, well done. TFTC.
This sat for a little while before the FTF. When I learnt about 10 days ago that I would be down this way today I harboured thoughts of getting the FTF but, no, snaffled a week ago. Arrived at the cache location a whole hour before it opened so cooled my heels for a bit. The lady at the location was very nice and told me how the young stegan used to help her as part of his Duke of Edinburgh Award work. Well done, that man!
As I grew up with this in my father's collection, I knew where to find it. Just didn't think it was going to wait for my holidays for a FTF. Having longed for one, we've done two in two days. Thanks for this Stegan - we left a glow-in-the-dark crayfish, and we're going to hide your TB somewhere...
