Logs
Found at base of tree, visible on approach. Cache is wet. Out caching with Will of the Wisp on our “Round the World in 80 Days” trip to celebrate retirement. Signing logs with our names or initials depending on space. Greetings from England, TFTC.
Cache has been muggled. Found the container and contents scattered all over the place. Not able to sign log as log was saturated. Put everything back together and placed next to tree.
Quick P&G heading to Geraldine. Almost dark so no one in nearby Cafe so glad to finally get a smiley here. TFTC
A quick park and grab On way home from dropping off / picking up a van in Timaru for work. Had stopped here once before with no luck. All good this time tho. Nothing like getting paid to cache. TFTC
Finally managed to outrun the rain following us up from Oamaru but plenty of signs that it had been wet as it was well, wet. Found the cache which was very wet, but fortunately G--2 had been through and put a lovely clean and dry temporary log in the cache. These tupperware containers aren't that waterproof unfortunately and I doubt they improve with all the years that this cache has on the clock. With the new log in its ziplock bag all good now. Thanks for the cache.
Felt daft wandering around in the rain, but once i got to gz, couldn't miss it. Tftc
We set off from Friendly Fielding next day did some Christchurch caches before heading towards Omaru what a lovely place to cache, some of the places we have been and seen today have been beautiful, so glad caches take us to areas we would never of dreamed of going. Thank you for placing a cache here we signed the log and placed it back exactly where we found it. cache all good. TFTC now off to enjoy the area of Omaru and its creativity. amazing
Found it but very soggy amd out in the open. Covered it up a bit with a couple of rocks.
We have passed this spot many times since I took up geocaching. Stopping for a late lunch was the ideal excuse to get it this time.
Zacandluke found it hidden in the tree. Great to see a container with some swaps at last
Another short break and another quick find. No wallabies hopping around here today. Thanks for the cache!
Mrs p hopped out of the car and stood in mud. she continued on and made a quick find.On a 11 day caching trip around the south island. Log signed as b&p.Tftc waitaki999. Find # 3596
Was heading south with Popmac for a family gathering and this was a cache we decided to get on the way down. Stopped here for some lunch and while we were waiting I wander across to this cache for the find. Took trackable. Thanks for the cache.
I came over to New Zealand to meet my son, who is staying now for more than five months on the other side of the world. Our intension is, to travel now for 4 weeks through this fantastic land and visiting a lot of fine spots on both islands.
Met in Auckland, our first trip led us to the Far North with some spectacular locations. It was a lot of driving, but we think, it was worth the result.
The second part of our travelling route led us to the south. Going via Hamilton with some fine locations, Hobbiton was an absolutely must of our "unexpected journey" . Went then to Tauranga with a hard upclimb to Mt. Maunganui, visited Rotorua to see lot of vulcanic activities, have had a lot of fun with Zorbing and Claybird shooting and drove then to Taupa, to doing Skydiving.
Here we go: Napier with it's beautiful Art Deco district and the great Aquarium was the next stop.
Final destination on the North Island was Wellington, were we visited some great places and met some friends from Germany.
After crossing Cook Strait now we will follow the east side of the southern island down to the most southern point of New Zealand.
Blenheim with its wine yards, fantastic dolphin watching in Kaikoura, the story of earthquake in Christchurch, following the famous coastline down to Dunedin with its beautiful and interesting places as well as the nice city of Invercargill were our main spots on this part of our journey.
Of course, even if it is not our main activity during this holidays, we will looking for some caches, which are laying beside our route.
So this cache was one of those, we've picked up.
Many thanks to waitaki999 for this fine cache and best greetings from Germany.

Had coffee and cake before quickly finding the cache. Had to use my GPS as no mobile phone coverage. Whatever happened to the Wallaby that used to stand at this corner?
On a mission around South Canterbury/North Otago. 114 found caches today. Thanks to all the CO's for their effort. Sorry about the cut and paste. TFTC.
Jess.daphne and I were on a road trip back to Christchurch and what better way to spend some time than hunting for a cache or two? We had a great time stopping and hunting for them. This was a quick and easy find and we picked up a TB and a trackable, woohoo. Tftc!
Traveling with Injeanious from Chch to Dunedin for a weekend visit. We found the most caches in one day ever, for us going down, then did even better on the return trip heading back up State Highway 1. Picked up trackables, TFTC!!
The plan was hatched a few years ago now and it has been a standing weekend away with a few of us mad keen cachers. This trip was made up of Karma Reprint, Team_Gaters and me (TheWanglers). We couldn't use a previous anagram to sign the logs as one member was in Aussie. So we had to come up with another... Hmm, KiTT? We decided on KiTT but after signing the first few logs something KR mentioned took a while for me to sink in and I didn't really take on board until the next time I signed the log. "Hey, the double 'TT' looks like Pi!". Oh, that's what KR said! So we signed the log this trip as KaTT pronounced 'Kapai'! And the trip was kapai!!! We had an epic weekend starting with a detour to Peel Forrest for a few FTFs, stopped in Omaru, thrashed Dunedin and detoured to Port Charmers for a FTF and then back to Pleasant Point and Peel Forrest to finish off the weekend with more FTFs. We got home to our families at a respectable hour after clocking up just over 1100km!
We had a few milestones we really wanted to crack. My 4000th, TG's 5000th and KR's 10,000th. We cracked my and KR's goal and got really close for TG. It really is about the numbers. This trip was awesome as it has given me some ideas
TG's parking prowess made this a park n grab.
Thanks for the cache.

Show weekend and a Road Trip to Dunedin with 'The Boys'....Karma Reprint & TheWanglers. Initially came up with the acronym KiTT but on seeing the TT looked like a Pi symbol we quickly changed to Ka(Pi) (ie. Kapai)....and a fantastic weekend it was. 3 days, 1100km, a heap of caches and great fun.
Busy spot what, but creative driving made this a park'n'grab

Nice easy find I've retrieved the shark coin but it says it's inactive so will log it on the website and dropped two more trackables
Headed down south with C&D and 11HPG11 for the CHCH Mega as part of the HOAC team, and decided that a Mega road trip/Mega Mission was the right thing to do. After a great day caching from Dunedin to Omarama we manged to get a few hours sleep before the big day 2 started.
Day 2 was the start of a ambitious plan to try and find as many caches as possible in one day! To maximise our chances of a big number we decided a 24 hour caching day was the only way to go. What an epic day, and some great moments too. The rough idea was to cache from Omarama to Oamaru, and then head north towards Christchurch. A huge thanks to everyone for the cache placments, and I apologise for the copy and past logs.
Find #278 for the day.

This was the start of a MEGA caching weekend in the company of good caching friends. In the company of both HKCB & 11HPG11 this was going to be another memorable caching road trip for many reasons.
This is the mission that we had set ourselves up for several months back. It was HKCB's idea, I was just dumb enough to think it was a challenge and I'd be up for it, 11HPG11 was silly enough to come along for the ride once we confirmed a spare seat (Nova Lightening pulled out for family reasons).
We were going to try to beat the NZ one day record in New Zealand (it would have been easier with 4 people), so after 2.5hrs sleep after a good feed at Omarama we were ready to go. This was the number two hundred and seventy eighth on what was to be an epic day with what amounted to 401 caches collected for the day and about 38 DNF's. We managed this with 10minutes to spare but by this time we were done for and still had to drive back to Kaiapoi. All in all an epic days caching with good friends and something I don't think any of us will repeat in a hurry.
All in all it was going to be a big day with a number of challenges, great scenery, and of course great company. Fantastic driving along and up here as the landscape was so different from what we are used to back in the Waikato. One good thing about backroads being that we could continue our neferious activites without being disturbed by muggles.
Nice quick find here without any issues .
thanks for the placement , thanks for the cache

What a Mega Mission for a group of Hamilton Over Achievers! A great trip, a long time in the planning. I teamed up with Cats&Dragons and HKCB to grab a couple of caches while in Christchurch and surrounding areas for the 2015 Mega Event. We flew out from Auckland on Friday night and traveled to Dunedin in the dark of the night. Stopped for a few hours sleep before setting off to grab caches in the Otago area on Saturday before attempting a few more on Sunday and then arriving at the Mega on the Monday. An amazing, yet crazy road trip. Signed logs as HOAC to save room
When C&D mentioned a day with over 400 caches I should have turned and ran... instead I said yes, and here we are. 401 caches in 23 hours and 50 minutes. All done on about 2.5hr of sleep. It was hard work with only 3 of us and there were times that were hard and tiring but I still had a blast! An amazing experience that one has to be slightly crazy to even consider
Thanks for bringing us here and placing caches for us to find. I was hoping to see some wallabies but we didn't see any

Greetings from West Sacramento, California! Papa EGTH and I are on Day 13 of our 19-day caching honeymoon and today we traveled from Dunedin to Christchurch.
Should I even describe the see saw/teeter totter incident here? Hmm...maybe I should. We pulled over to break up the long drive with a cache find and parked in the cafe's lot. As we walked toward the cache, we noticed the see saw and the ruts that indicated that it spun around. We hopped on and played around a bit and while we were spinning, Papa EGTH stopped the movement, but my body didn't stop moving and I flew off and landed pretty hard with my GPSr hitting me in the head. We don't have see saws in the USA anymore due to injury and liability concerns. Now I know why.
Body and ego bruised, I limped over to get the cache and after searching the trees for a hanger, I read the hint and then spotted the cache tucked away. Thanks!

HockeyHiker19 and I were on Day 13 of our Geocaching honeymoon in New Zealand. On this day we traveled from Dunedin to Christchurch.
Beware the teeter-totter! Especially if you are a full grown adult!
After HockeyHiker19 fell off the teeter-totter (due to me slowing it down too quickly), we went to GZ where she wasn't hurt enough to locate the cache. I know I must have walked by it at least twice.

This was the seventh day of my fifteen day trip to go to the Christchurch Mega. I didn't think this hint would work, but it actually did. TFTC.
.. been past this one many times, today was the day to stop for a smiley face! Left geo coin trackable...a beaut shark! TFTC
On our epic CANZ trip around the South Island. Have found Marlborough, Nelson, Tasman, West Coast and Canterbury, now heading south to Oamaru for a conference and then on to find Otago and Southland.
Today was a easy day with no pressure so we quietly geocached our way from Timaru to Oamaru, but as we were finding caches live with the iPhone it was bit difficult as cell coverage was patchy.
Didn't see any wallabies but did find the cache. There are wallabies up where we live as well and they are a real pest. Gave the Diner a miss.
Thanks waitaki999. Another smilie on our SI map.

Heading to Omaru for the long weekend a quick wallaby stop and all is good. I like wallaby they are cute. Cache number one for the trip. Cheer for the smiley.
After attending our local Anzac Service we headed down to Oamaru for the long weekend.
We stopped in Timaru for lunch. This was the first find. No wallabies but a cache.

First day of two days trip from Christchurch to Invercargill via Cromwell. Cache 13 of 72 today. This is part of my challenge to find as many 'minutes' for a 400-minute challenge cache, with most caches being straightforward finds. Thanks for the cache.
Was getting tired so pull off to wakeup.
Didn't get any coffee. Did get the cache.
