Sir_spectre, allister w, and I went out for another Sunday geocaching adventure. We were on a BFE hunt But as always we managed to find a few others as we were passing nearby. A beautiful day to get out and visit the northern suburbs with some great friends.
Thanks to Bob From Elsewhere from mogni

nice bit of history here
found with Allister w and mogni. Jj52 wasn't with us today as she is on a outback holiday. All logs stamped today with the JAMS stamp. Today's mission was to go north and find as many of the caches JJ52 had already found targeting as many with the " Reel " name it it as possible trads, multi's, puzzles. And clear a dnf for me. I only solved a couple of puzzles with BFE's help today and a few more with help from those cachers that live for the next puzzle published. 40 + finds for the day and 2 dnf's.

A cache found on a big day with Sir Spectre and mogni. A few DNFs and a few caches needed maintenance but overall a good trip to this area. TFTC BFE
Today was supposed to be Kayak and Fishing Day. The rain changed our plans and had us out in Bob Land finding caches in gum boots. Found with SupaOrange and SupaTurtle. Thanks Bob
Our for some caching with SupaTurtle and Csaba!. Everyone in gum boots and having a great time. Tra La Laaa
Great day for caching and getting dirty. SupaOrange and Csaba! for support. Turtle Out
The cache was missing and has been replaced today in the same location.
On the South side.

Couldn’t find it. Looked everywhere for a solid 30 minutes. Maybe it’s been removed or we just suck, haha.
Thanks Bob. Got it easily this time. I made the silliest of errors last time. I spoke with kayche and pulled up a map and go Doh. What a Wally. All good. Nice clean dry book.
We were riding the Convict Run multi-cache this evening, when I noted that I hadn't found this one in the area. So, I ended up jogging up the DIY biking trails around here to this structure. A pretty cool piece of history. After 5 min of looking around, the cache was encountered. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, thanks Bob From Elsewhere. Some nice views of Yatala Prison from this vantage point also.
I seem to have been following in OzGrumpy’s steps all morning and so saw this as a challenge. Challenge accepted. Thanks Bob!
Finally found after lots of searching, was tough to find but got there in the end. TFTC
Found it with the kids. As mentioned before, the log is a little water damaged but great cache.
Log is a little wet but still ok, we took the long way and now we're tired, but it was a good walk, tftc bob from elsewhere
Found with Bektheraccoon whilst completing Convict Run. A stunning view from a reel nice location. Tftc
We visited this cache while completing the Convict Run multi. We checked out this interesting structure with no one else about and had no luck using the hint. In the end the cache was found on the east side after we widened our search. Tftc
We searched everywhere. Their was a lot of rubbish around. Kids using it as a hangout.
An interesting structure in a quiet location with great views across to the big house. TFTC BFE.
Found on our 2018 mega trip with Roostaman.
Thanks for the cache Bob From Elsewhere, cheers from the Riverina, NSW,

A fine Spring day for a drive around while staying in the Adelaide area.
Many muggles around again today and mostly good quick finds.
Interesting building and a good safe hide here.
Thanks for the cache Bob From Elsewhere,

Be careful if taking kids to this geocache, the building is littered with bongs and other equipment.
Out in attempt to complete the convoy run multi. Made detour up the hill for a quick find TFTC
Found by R4R whilst rambling thru these pasts. No pen... unable to log cache!
Spent a fair while looking but just couldn't find it even using the hint/clue. Love the history of this area and this particular location though!
Quick easy find here. The cache is in fair order but needs a new bag. TFTC Bob!
Not the easiet find. Might want to change tin and update pad but was a nice walk.
Had organised to meet Michells&hound for an afternoon collecting BFE caches in the Badlands. [^]
We worked out what puzzles we had both solved and a few others that needed solving before we set off.
This was a BFE Trad that we found among the puzzles. A good hide.
Thanks for the cache BFE.

A nice quick find of a well hidden cache next to a very cool piece of history on this awesome History - Laden walking trail (or ride, like I have chosen to do today). I never knew this track and all the Jail / Convict related stuff was even here and wow! am I loving it! It appears others are too... many a walker and jogger about today, can hardly blame them on this sensational warm Spring day at the moment [^] This Trad was found during doing a Multi called "Convict Run" by Nibs (GCKMQA). The log of this Trad was very moist so I dried it out as best I could in the lovely sun [^] then SL at 09:20 on Sun 17 Sept 2017. (Thanks for the break between waypoints with this Trad, Bob in a most cool spot). Good view of Yatala from here, pics were taken inc. a Selfie lol [:o)] TFTC BFE
I had mentioned that I was in the process of trying to solve all the Reel caches and wanted to have another BFE hunting day to get a little closer to Reel Nirvana. Muff1 wanted to do the same and so they drove all the way over from Victoria to have said BFE hunting day.
But first we had to get from my house to BobLand and that could only mean getting finding seven other caches along the way.
Another Reel cache that is not a puzzle. [^] We didn't see any convicts running today but we did see a centipede that just wasn't fast enough to outrun a magpie.
The hints made it a reel quick find too!
Thanks Bob From elsewhere for yet another cache and a step closer to Reel Nirvana.

Today we are on an adventure trip with brisal5, this is an area that we have not spent a lot of time in this area before. We enjoyed the history re this structure. brisal5's strong hands retrieved this cache. SL TFTC
I didn't see any convicts today (if you don't count me). I'm 'reel' glad these little nuggets of history are preserved. Left a PT as a thank you to the CO or next finder. TFTC BFE
Out for a Mother's day walk to Stockade Botanic Gardens, found the gate down to the Linear Park and went searching for this one. Great hint Tftc
The cache was found in the second place we looked.
We were in the area looking for ? marks.
The cache hasn't been found for a while and is "Reel Fine". TFTC!

Enjoyed the mini history lesson. A nice walk out to GZ, with the Geodog. Watch out for mozzies though; they're ridiculously huge and bloodthirsty! TFTC
Out and about on grand final day to find a cache... This was a great little spot. TFTC
What a fantastic piece of history, the things that are hidden in our suburbs but we do not know theyare there, TFTC and bringing us here.
Found this valley by accident playing in the stockade park. Lucky we had our caching gear! Tftc

Found while out cacing with Snap Happy and SASewerRats I hope this logs properly because I am currently trying to teach myself how to use GSAK and a GPS...my apologies if I get it wrong.
Thanks Bob From Elsewhere for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment. Cheers Tomboy 711

**Out and about on a Adelaide Cache Chase**...
A beautiful afternoon to be out and about grabbing a few smilies with Tomboy 711, parislaura and SA Sewer Rats... Plenty of fun, laughs and good times...
I apologize for the generic logs - It no way detracts from my enjoyment and the efforts gone to by the CO...
A short stroll, a short search, found the cache, stamped the log and returned...

Out and about caching, laughing, with Snap Happy and Tomboy711.
Great stealth was exercised here today.
We arrived at GZ to find that there were three young men in the hut.
So Snap Happy kept them occupied while Tomboy711 made the find.
We signed and replaced the cache before the young men noticed what we were up to. TFTC

A nice little spot with a great view. Found a snail before finding the cache. Sorry buddy! TNLNSL TFTC #51
After an absence from caching throughout most of January, headed out late afternoon with geo-kid #2 to a part of Elsewhere that we started to become familiar with late last year. Today was a mix of BFE puzzle and traditional caches within cooee of each other.
This one, #1 of 6.
Geo-boy went to the top of the structure to soak in the view while I extracted the cache from below.
TFTC BFE.

Started in exactly the right spot, did a lap, inspected the shack, then read the instructions.
Back to where I started and found it where I expected. Run Malco Run!
Thanks. Fine here too.

This one took us a while as the 'bush' hint threw us off (nothing at base). Caution: a number of drug related items seen at this location.
While looking for a puzzle cache this one apeared nearby. I was fascinated by the structure and after wandering around it eventually managed to lay my hands on the prize.

Something different today going for a cache hunting walk around and behind Yatala, took Chloe the GF's malteser (geodog in training. Things got exciting when some plain clothes cops pulled up behind a head down bum up Mattycat and wanted to know what we were doing, but they seemed happy with the answer. They didn't want to stay and learn about caching though, as they were looking for some guy on the run - long blond hair and a green top! never saw him
While extracting this one, was made to jump out of skin by a postie on motorbike who came right past, yeah there!!
From a distance thought this was just an amazing dunny with a view.

Nice quick find by an interesting structure. As we were lurking behind and filling in the log a postie suddenly arrived on his bike. Got a bit of a fright to find us there; have no idea what he was doing as he did a quick U turn and left. Thanx
Found It!
Interesting structure and a quick find. Nice view to! No escapees were seen today...

We parked at the Bridgeway Hotel and took a leisurely stroll to the cache on a beautiful albeit overcast afternoon. We haven't ventured this far along Dry Creek before and were rewarded with great views on either side. At GZ, we located the brand new container quickly and took some time to check out the structure. Thanks for bringing us here. TNLNSL TFTC
Replaced the plastic container with an eclipse container.
Hidden on the same "rail" the one with the bush at the base.
Read the hints. Do not search in the stonework or building.

Very interesting place. I remembered as a kid coming here to dump rubbish in the old quarries. Times have changed. The "mint" tin is actually plastic and very brittle. Will need replacing soon. Quick find on the way home from work. TFTC
