I thought I give it a try after ownership changed. But no luck for me on this one. I checked "under" every corner of this object at GZ. I did not get the hint, though. My English still has its limits. Anyway, thanks for the nice walk on a lovely summer afternoon in Wanaka!

Didn't find this. I'm suspecting its been muggled. Perhaps by nearby workers? Had a good look all under the spanner and others nearby. Nothing obvious. Sigh...

A DNF. After searching for the information on the web we found that there was a difference in the numbers.Got the right onces we think and headed to the spanner. There were workers everywhere this morning. We searched with our team mates Team Ladava for about 30 minutes without success. After talking to another cacher who made mention that there is another spanner closer to the walkway where we got the information we just wonder if our calculations are correct.

Took us a while to locate the pathway. The isite staff were going to send us 45mins out of town, which we knew wasn't right. We returned to where we parked the car and then lo and behold we found what we were looking for. Soon worked the numbers. Got to the magic spot of final GZ to have workmen everywhere, so had to use some extreme stealth to locate this one. Left one of our signature pathtags. SL. TFTC.
We hired some bikes and road around to all these caches before lunch. One of the most memorable days ever. The sun was shining, the sun was out, and the nearby mountains were covered in snow. Just awesome. We started reading these pavers on our approach to GZ, before the penny dropped that here was going to provide some clues. Duhhh.
We found this on our pre New Zealand Mega Event lap of the South Island.
Cheers from Browngang.

Enjoyed doing this multi and went back to read the whole time line. Made a mistake with calculations yesterday so after going on a wild goose chase rode into town today and found the final close by in town.
Many thanks for the caches in wanaka.

Why multi-caches aren't sometimes as easy as this one ? Nice short walk around town with this nice weather for winter. No that good for skiers though ! Merci pour la cache and greetings from France !
On a day trip from Queenstown to Wanaka and really enjoyed the foreshore on the lake at Wanaka. The memorial walk tiles are a great concept and enjoyed reading them. Found the info needed and got to the final location. Took some time to find the cache and then finally worked out what the hint meant (we think ) The sculpture of the birds heads in the park was well done.
Signed the log and left one of our path tags (if you take it please log it on Pathtags.com so we know it has gone to a good home).
Thanks N!mrod for the cache and greetings from Western Australia. [^]

Nice 'walk of fame' with interesting facts! Nice hiding place for the cache. A great one to celebrate # 700!!!
Nice multi with interesting facts along the way!
No idea what the clue meant but once at GZ there was only one place to look so grabbed with ease.
Thanks for setting this up

Haha, cool. We would totally missed the "walkway of fame" without this geocache. Thanks a lot for showing.
Found! Eventually...
First bit wasn't too difficult, but the second was more awkward as my phone gps was playing up a bit. Took me over to what I thought might be private property... had a rummage, but it was getting to be too dark/dusk so came back and gave it one more go. This time it took me in a slightly different direction and, along with a penny dropping as to what the 'spanner' was actually referring to, I got it before it was completely dark tonight.
Thanks (from the UK!) - I think this is my most southerly cache so far!

It must of been hot, we couldn't even get the first leg done without rechecking the instructions, then I miscalculated the 2nd waypoint. It even took several minutes to get the last clue.
We had to negotiate several bikini wearers in our search for the first WP info but soon had the job in hand and on to the final. TFTC
Our first multi-cache. Got a bit confused about how to use the numerical clues, but got there in the end. This cryptic crossworder enjoyed the name. Left a spinning globe in this place where people from all over the world holiday.
Didn't quite understand second clue but found easily enough. Enjoyable cache. Picked up very pretty tbd.
The right information was quickly spotted fortunately, as there were an awful lot of options!!! Seems we did our sums right as PB made a quick find at GZ.

A very good multi-cache! Engaged our brains & we got our maths right first time. Bit of a challenge using iPhone - can't prog coordinates; got there using Apps real time location function. Def req some lateral thinking. Found by the awesome 'A' of our party. TVMFTC

Messed the numbers up somehow....I'm good at that. but D_D got me going in the right direction and the guys made the find. I do believe I dropped a TB here also.

We are staying in Wanaka for few days on Holiday here from the States. Really glad we picked this location to stay as it is very beautiful, especially where this cache is located! We made a silght error in the calculations at first and ended up near another likely location very similar to the real location!! After correcting that error and recalculating we were able to make the find in the GOOD location!! Thanks for the Multi hide, my favorite kind of Cache!!
Easy find on a busy and windy (tri-athalon) Wanaka Challenge day. Still better than the -12 or worse back home in Canada this time of year.

Lovely evening for a stroll by the lakefront and an easy find. Beware of the sharp foliage!
A great multi. The tigeress had a different mindset to me, and solved the clue quite quickly.

After having spent an awesome day in the niger stream doing some canyoning, Tasaio and I wanted to still make our way to Queenstown in order to get a Fergburger. However we quite liked Wanaka, so we decided to see a wee bit more of this place, and what is better suited to do so than a nice Multicache. Indeed we did not get disappointed here. Very educative in the beginning and the final in a nice idillic spot. All in all just perfect.
All was found quickly, only the calculations took a little bit of time which I used to take some more beautiful pictures.
Thanks for the hide and greetings from the other end of the world(i.e. Germany),

We visited this cache while doing a three weeks camper trip around the South Island of New Zealand.
Wanaka seemed to us to be the more quiet but still adventurous twin city of Queenstown - and was a bit more attractive for us since it is not yet touched so much by the mass tourism as Queenstown is. We did this cache after a very nice canyoning adventure in one of the river gorges nearby. The little walk around the city/village helped us to calm back down again.
The final location was very nice and is unfortunately a bit hidden from the view of the general visitor. It’s definitely worth a visit.
Thanks a lot for the cache.

A beautiful day and a beautiful place to visit while on our family holiday. Interesting tiles and an easy find at gz. TFTC.
Having found the spanner we reckon they must have some strange nuts in Wanaka. Thanks from Oz for a fun cache.
Lol, I did not read the logs, but reassured my internet search before heading out. I was so right to do this... TFTC
Sweet!

"Got" it This one goes on the favourites list - one of the nicest & unexpected reserves; small but perfectly formed.
My appreciation to banaari - the cache had been muggled (again) and a kindly gesture to replace and continue the cache - very, very much appreciated. Since caching seriously, I have often replaced logs and containers where possible and it is a wonderful thing to give and receive. It saved me a special trip to Wanaka - one of my favourite places but time against me at the moment. So - got get it guys. Google is not your friend here - visit the walkway
Hehe - I ran into the same issue attempting to take an internet shortcut as previous seekers. Alas, having corrected that error (there's no free lunch) and having found the spanner... there's no cache either Never mind, still wound up in a stunningly nice part of Wanaka we hadn't seen before despite feeding right next door a couple of times!
I thought I was saving time by finding the answers online, but that just sent me to the wrong place.
Then it took me a long time to find the 'Millenium walkway', I guess I was looking for something different, but I did finally find waypoint one. This does have the incorrect answer on it (historically speaking) but from a caching perspective that's no problem at all. Unfortunately I'd now run out of time to hunt the final... next time.

Mmmmm..... Not sure if I've got the right place, but according to other logs/photos/clues I think I'm close. Had a good look under the "spanner" and couldn't find anything.
Best not to rely on the internet for this one, there seems to be a disagreement between between my internet source and waypoint 1. After searching the wrong spot I checked waypoint one and got the alternate info. I reckon I found the right spanner, but my night search revealed nothing. No more time left for me in this beautiful town, so this one will keep for next time.
A great walk before dinner - thanks for the history N!mrod

We did the maths 3 times and visited the final site twice before having our ah ha moment and finding the cache. We also found the structure in town that shows all the flood heights and had we sat where we ate lunch in 1878 we would have been completely under water. We then went and booked an adventure tour with a local organisation and came back the next day to experience the highlight of our 3 weeks here. Jetboat and Helicopter flight to the snow. Great stuff.

Having walked out to Waterfall Creek, and then to Ely Point, we were almost walked out by the time we got to the Millenium Walkway. Found the info, then retired across the road for refreshments and to work out the next stage. Cache was easily found. TFTC.
Found on nice, sunny, but surprisingly quiet day. Loved looking along the date line. Took a bit longer than expected to find the cache at the end! TFTC
Took a while coz i tried to cheat and get the answers online then i used the walk way and it was a fun easy find.

During our 4 weeks holiday in the southern island of NZ we did not only find an exiting countryside and wildlife. The many caches brought us sometimes to places we didn´t expect or planned to go to.
Thank you very much for this. Greetings from Germany.

Nice spot. I should have guessed that it would be somewhere here - based on some map updates I did a while back. Had to wait for muggles for a while. TNLN, Thanks.
