After a weekend doing the ROTH series we cached our way home. The best thing about this whole weekend I think will be our teenage daughters face when she see's the photos that we stopped at a place called Sherlock, she is a mad Sherlock fan and she will go into one of her teenage girl rants that we never told her we were coming here, she would have come otherwise.....yep better take more photos to make it more worth it lol.... thankyou for the cache and the lasting fun we will have with her this week
Found on my way to Adelaide. Been meaning to pop in for a while. Thanks for the maintenance.
Went for an afternoon's drive with Sebastbat today.
Clearly the actual GZ appears a little flatter than before. Rocks have been repurposed.
Elementary dear Watson, the cache has been displaced!!!
What to do? The good friend Flippers haven't been out as much lately, possibly busy chasing QR codes, or working or something... so let's help out. For now a micro bison replacement affixed to the lower fenceline, approx 10m south of given GZ.
That should do for a while. Let's see what Sherlock is planning for this corner with the recent minor works!
Thank you FLIPPER&CO for putting out this cache ten years ago yesterday , hope our help assists it continuing on the map!

With now 4 consecutive DNF's stretching back to January, this cache would seem to be overdue for one of those regular owner maintenance visits for a check please.
Nothing other than a pile of gravel awaiting roadworks. Area around GZ is completely clear apart from this
Found at 15:54 during an epic day with Shonkylogic and Southern Cross Caching, druning which we found over 300 caches.
After completing the ROTF series, we went on to caches from Sherlock to Tailem Bend and beyond, to bring the find count over 300.
Thanks for the hide

Found it on the way to Canberra. No pen in cache and unfortunately no pen on me either! Lovely spot that never knew about!
Surely finding this cache would be elementary
Nup !!
A small crowd had gathered at GZ !! [:o]
But while listening to the chatter from a distance,
I heard the magic word !!
These were not muggles Watson !!
How can you tell Sherlock ??

So I wandered over to join the impromptu 'event'

Out for a weekend of Geocaching in the Mallee region.
Nice mix of hides were encountered, issued a few favorite points and had a enjoyable hunt or two.
Thanks for bringing us to this place.
Was good to meet new people while hunting for hidden treasures, our lunch was interupted by the arrival of the Tassie Trekers & IF. Many thanks for the short meeting and the many stories of your travels.

Today we did a loop from Murray Bridge and back again taking in the GEOPETS series. On the way we picked up a few caches and this was one of them. An easy find at GZ as we were the second cache team to arrive and was pointed in the right direction, thanks Team Holden, nice to meet you both. Then If arrived to complete the trifecta!!!!!!
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Heading to Murrayville this afternoon and grabbed a few caches along the road, this one was a quick find and we soon had it located and logged. Thanks FLIPPER&CO for the cache.
Cleaning up all the left over caches I had not got to since last trip out this way.
There wasn't a soul around at this one so it made for a nice relaxed search, and thankfully I came up with the goods
Thanks for the cache FLIPPER&CO

Found with my geo-parents on the way to the Red Centre Mega geocaching event in Alice Springs! TFTC
A straight forward find.
A fun trip across the border. We left late afternoon on Friday and made it to Wedderburn late into the night. The purpose was for us to go on a roadtrip and attend the "9 months to Alexandra Mega" event.
I had a wonderful time with my Victorian caching buddies, and catching up with the lovely Locus Cache.
We laughed, shared crazy tales, spoke about puzzles, went 4wd and hung out with mates....I eventually got home late Sunday night in prep for work on Monday - an awesome weekend!

On a georoad trip to Adelaide to watch the cricket with new to the geogame Azzepious along for the ride. On the trip we aimed for several cache types in one day as well as caches in three states in one day.
We were both amazed at how many caches there on the trip, making our journey much longer.
Thanks to all the COs for their caches.

On my way over to Shepparton on Sat 15 October, i pulled up to try for this one right on first light. I quickly found myself under constant barrage from "Mega Mozzies" so I gave up, but today on my way back I had another crack. Found it almost straight away. Swapped a small plastic 'Blue Wren Tit' for the black welding glass bit SL at 15:30 on Monday, 24 October, 2016. TFTC FLIPPER&CO
Geoson's Learner's Driving Permit is about to expire and he needs quite a few more hours driving experience to progress to P's. I like to go caching and don't mind being driven to caches. [^] Sounds like a win-win situation with him driving me out to get some caches that are out of the way or need to fill in gaps in my smiley map. [*D] Today's drive was out to get the four Geopets that had appeared since I had last done the series, grab a few on the back roads and make our way to Karoonda for lunch. [^] Then grab a few more out of the way caches on the way back. All up another 12 smilies for me and a couple of DNF's.
Could see this cache as we pulled up. Hard part parting the branches to get it [B)] Thanks FLIPPER&CO.

Geokids had fun at the 'playground'.. Ripper vintage see saw!
Great spot to stretch the legs.
We'd have played tennis, but no one's let the sheep out for a while, so it was a little too overgrown.

Fun cache name! I found it despite the cords bring about 10 meters off for me. I picked up the tb and will move it along to Lameroo!
This was an easy find on our way home from Adelaide to Canberra after a month away!
This makes no 100 find for me!
Dropped off a track able and pick one up!

The name of the cache didn't dawn on me until I reached the destination. I have been here years ago as a kid. A cooler day between some warmer days called for a geocaching expedition! I realised three caches were yet to be found in Lameroo (we won't mention I missed one 10 minutes from home), so a route was plotted. I also found there to be a new cache deep in Victoria that required my "finding" - thus beginning a 2-day trek of 67 finds, 23 kangaroos, and a load of fun!
Our first stop on the way to Kaniva for an event.
Thanks for the cache Flippers.
Thanks for the cache Flippers.
An event hosted by my friends, muff1, had me wondering if I could make a day of it and go and see them[?]
When I mentioned this to sushilord he surprised me by agreeing that a day out might be fun.
So we drove the long way around (about 1100 km) to get to the event and all up managed to find 27 caches and attend the event
A very relaxing day filled with great scenery, lots of laughs, some interesting historical sites and a great big, yummy hamburger and chips for tea at the Kaniva Roadhouse [^].
Our first cache for the day and while my companion played another game, I came to find the cache, which I obviously did.
At least he then drove down to pick me up

Found with wozzle68 as we headed West for a few days caching with some other Mexicans. The cache soon had our names added to the log and we were on our way again. I've done quite a few of the "Come cache ....... with me" series over the years. They seem to be everywhere Thanks to Flipper&co for the cache.
Day 1 of our roadtrip from Adelaide to Stanthorpe for the Qld Mega. Gorgeous day, sun is shinning, perfect traveling weather.
Arrived at GZ and was a little concerned there may not be a cache here as the trees are cut back. Nothing to worry about, cache found, trees look like they were pruned a long time ago ☺

We then followed the clues and found the cache.

Funny, thought this place was going to be called "Watson" in the series of Mallee towns on the Karoonda Hwy (eg. Come cache Halidon with me)... the 10yo worked it out before I did ... it's elementary really!

Found with Gonefishen07 after spending a fun filled few days at the Mega Event. Like all good things they have to come to and end and it is now time to head for home. This is one of the caches that we found along the way. Thanks for taking the time to place this cache and show us this point of interest. TFTC We caught up with Muzza here
Found with Zobo04 sadly all good things must come to an end and after such a fun few days in Murray Bridge it is now time to head towards home. Caught up with Muzza at this cache he had just finished putting it back. TFTC
Day 4 of the Oz Mega Event, and I was heading for an overnight stay in Bordertown. The day included a few caches around Murray Bridge, the Lost Wanderers series, and some of the Wandering Heroes caches that had arisen since I last cleaned it out. And then there were some more down to Coonalpyn. Sorry for the generic logs - there were just too many to log individually.
Just after finding and logging it, Gonefishen7 and Zobo04 arrived so they signed the log before it was returned. My thanks to FLIPPER&CO for the cache.

#5545 Like many others over the last few days, we've been making our way over to Murray Bridge from Albury for the Mega. We have managed to turn a 8.5 hour (straight through) driving day into 12.5 hours via caching - 17 finds and only 1 DNF, not too bad . We've been impressed with the care taken to rehide containers by prior finders, kudos to them! We loved the stone church down the street, we always enjoy the old architecture and masonry skills of years gone by. There were no mini-muggles on the nearby play equipment, in fact it doesn't look to get much action at all these days. We found the cache very well hidden and in good condition, although we came out smelling distinctly like peppercorns . Our thanks to FLIPPER&CO for the cache and reason to stretch the legs on a long driving day. Cheers [^]
Another quick hunt on the way out west. Cache hidden well and replaced same. Thanks for another smiley.
