A soggy mess does not a cache make

Not real sure were this one is but reading the logs we would have only found a soggy mush anyway... Did see a dog herding goats by itself though.

Found this cache in October and forgot to log it, sorry. Thank you.

Had a good look around the GZ, unfortunately did not find. Alot of bad weather lately so hopefully it just needs a bit of maintenance. We will be back for this one....

A lovely stroll from "Old Way 4" cache just down the road.
Found the cache fairly quickly but then spent the next 10 minutes trying to get the wet log out of the cache with no success so our names do not appear on the cache log.
Thanks for the great walk

After reading previous logs we did not know what to expect of this Cache. Our worst fears were realised on locating the cache to find nothing but paper pulp. I agree with Team Webguy. You should consider replacing this cache with something that is going to last (waterproof at least).

We removed the pulp and replaced it with a another dry paper log.(How long this will last is any ones guess as the container is clearly not waterproof)

These days, I hardly bother to read a cache description, especially on weekends like this one where there are so many caches being done.

I spotted the cache easily, but, sadly, was rather disappointed in choice of a very much un waterproof container. There was nothing but pulp inside, so we rolled up some more soon to be pulp after signing it and placed it in the bottle.

Interesting idea for a cache, but sadly, it has not worked out. I'm still not quite sure what the attraction was at this location though.

Consider changing the container to something that is going to last.

Cheers

Had me on the wrong track for a while, but when I thought about it the bottle was spotted Smile
'Tis a bit damp though. I waved the parchment in the breeze for a while and got me initials on it, but the bottle isn't waterproof by a long shot [:o]

This one is in need of a water proof container as the log fell apart when removed from the bottle.

Went straight to it today. Much easier in the daylight.

Drained some water out of the cache and managed to sign the log.

Having done the cache just down the road a few months ago we had been going to come back here and take a drive along this road and now we had an excuse to come back out here for a look.
The message in the bottle is very wet though so a little maintenance may be required.
Thanks for the cache and what a nice little hide it is as well but the eldest geokid had it sussed out in no time though.

And the night was looking good for finding caches ............
but then we looked for this one..................
Might of been looking at it but you get those times when you can't see the forest for the trees.

We drove right up to this one with no trouble. Probably not supposed to, but the barriers had already been moved to the side and it was near 7.30pm, so we didn't think we would be hurting anyone.
Found cache quickly and easily - nice hide, well thought out, well done.

Found itBig Grin! I didn't check the new listings until 9am. Too late it seems but I'm hot on the trail of the scenic routers and closing fast! Very well thought out cache container. I started to question the co-ords but then I checked the spoiler and suddenly it all made sense. SL TFTC.
