Our GPS took us straight to the bench, but we knew from a previous log the cache wasn't there. Looked in likely places in the vicinity but were not able to find the cache.

As we were in the vicinity thise evening, we decided to drop in to find the cache while it was nice and quiet. Last time we came by there were too many people about to search. TFTC
We were heading north when we remembered we had one more cache in Petrie to find. It's not much of a detour - Let's go grab it!
We always enjoy our visits to this great park. Once we pulled up, we had a fair idea of where it would be, but we always seem to struggle with Ruzzel's caches, so we were quite nervous as we approached GZ.
Our fears quickly disappeared when Steve put his hand on the cache straight away. Ruzzelz 5 - Steve 1
No swaps. Thanks for the cache, and another reason to visit this great area.

Took quite a while to find. Probably should have used my geo-intuition earlier in the search but there are a lot of hiding places here. TFTC!
No muggles around tonight. GZ placed me right on the bench, but that's not where pjphillips eventually located the cache... TFTC
Found it 0654. I tackled it early to advoid the muggles which I did. An easy find in a pleasant area of the park.
Found quite easily on second visit. For some reason GPS wouldn't settle down on previous trip and things just weren't adding up. Easy find today. TNLN TFTC.
Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga at 10:35am. Time to stop for a break and the gym girls came down for their morning exercise right near GZ. In: TB Wicked H2 Hummer Out: - TFTC
Nice parkland area of Petrie. There are certainly some lovely areas in this town to spend time with kids exploring around. Took doll and left nail clippers! TFTC ...eatmorchickin and stigglepot taking ma and pa kettle for a sunday drive.
It was a beautiful day to be outside, so a bike ride was in order
Arriving at GZ it seemed that the rest of Brisbane was also outside today having 1 more Sunday picnic in Petrie [:o]
But! I've got a pushbike and no amount of muggles were going to stop me getting me paws on the prize
So in between the footys bouncing past and the prams rolling past I grabbed the box and signed the logbook
TFTC.

Slowdad and I are working across the bridge on the lawnton side of the river and we couldn't resist a cache that was this close so we grabbed the geomutts and the gps.
This was a nice easy find with no muggles about. Took the heart and left a clip, a flowers and a seahorse. TFTC

Walked over from the carnival on the other side of the river with the psychodaughter. Nice easy cache that was quickly spotted. TNLN TFTC
I thought Paddle the Pine had suddenly got very popular. No visits for months then suddenly 5 in a week. Should have known something had popped up nearby. Love this park. We've had many memorable family picnics here. Hopefully with many more to come. Swapped heart pendant for frogs. Swapped TBs. Left a GC. TFTC.
One of my favourite spots...and the geohound has no objections to an outing here either I dont know who ended up the wettest! After the frolic in the water we strolled over to gz to dry off (a bit). Found without any problems. Cache dry and in perfect condition.
Thanks Ruzzelz...we both enjoyed this one
Walked through the green fields, and past wild ducks, ibis, magpies, plovers, and evil crows all doing their thing. The area of GZ was occupied for a bit though a fairly easy find was eventually made when the coast was clear. Cache is as new. SL. Thanks ruzzelz for the cache and pointer to another nice pathway that stretches a fair way upstream I imagine.
Out on a spur-of-the-moment cache hunt with the She-Gecko... Wouldn't ya Know, rain started as soon as we parked. Nice little bit of wet, night caching. At least it was muggle free!!! TFTC
Card carrying idiots that we are, Rastas and I braved the cold wet night and went in search of this one. Nice spot for a cache. TFTH
WOOT!!!! A FTF on a rainy morning. Took the Geo-Schnauzer for a walk for cover. Found quickly, thanks RusselZ for another nice Cache
