Tftc parf, enjoying our drive today exploring the area, thanks for bringing us here
Hatzofff and I are in Bathurst for a few weeks house sitting, and of course have time for lots of caching.
Today we journey to the Blayney area.
Quick find on the homeward run.
Log signed and replaced on June 4, 2019 at 5:27 PM. TFTC, Parf.

On a big weekend caching with oldmorty and Frazeydaze and logs have signed OMF.
Would like to thank all cache owners, for making and maintaining the caches.

OCW frazerdaze and marj01. House sitting at White Rock for a week has provided an opportunity to do some geocaching runs around Bathurst - mainly TRLT series indispersed with a number of trads and puzzle caches. During the day we saw lovely scenery, lots of sheep and cattle, a few foxes and one deer in the forestry area. We even encountered fire persons doing a burn off which included two of the caches we were chasing. Please excuse the generic logs and thanks to all the CO's for placing the caches and adding to our enjoyment. For expediency all logs were signed OMF.
Our last day in Bathurst and surroundings grabbing caches, puzzles that have been solved and multis along the way.
Thank you to all the COs for their hides.

Third big day around Bathurst, finishing of the TRLT trail and picking up multis and puzzles. Finally the weather is a bit more human but still warm. Again really enjoyed the great surroundings and views. Thanks again for putting out all these caches. And thanks to J+J.AU for joining me in this adventure.

this one appears to be staying in place now. I noticed the container had a big split in the side so replaced it and the plastic bag for the log. still no pen however so don't forget to bring one with you. pity you don't appear to cache still Parf, thanks for this placement anyway
For a cache rated as a difficulty one, this has sure had a lot of DNFs, mine included. Toriaz and I DNFed this cache after a long search two years ago. We returned this weekend and made an instant find. However, things are not as they were two years ago. There is a new fence and the ground has been cleared at least half a metre wide all along it. The cache was just sitting on the ground this time in the open, so we returned it next to an object suggested by its name with a little bit of camo so it wouldn't draw immediate attention. Thanks

Last time we came here we searched for ages without result. Today it was an almost instant find. The cache was lying out in the open, about half a metre from the fence. We replaced it at the closest fencepost, with a bit of camo over it.
It's interesting to read that the last finder had exactly the same experience. Perhaps some animal comes around here and disturbs the cache?
Thank you

Headed away for the weekend with fitzy_1965. Made our way through Cowra and Bathurst trying to pick up some out of the way caches and some previous DNFs. I ended up with 48 finds but unfortunately we had around 17 more DNFs.
There appears to be a new fence. Just found the cache out in the open so I've put it back in the obvious spot with a bit of cover.

15,405. Found during a Cowra/Bathurst region run this weekend with minniek.
Day 2 dawned and we headed out towards Bathurst after grabbing a few caches in Cowra. A short detour off the highway for a nice quick find - always happy with that ! Signed the log, replaced the cache, then we headed off to the next one.
Thanks Parf !!

Found with nissan 65 on a few days away caching. Thanku for the cache . Happy caching
Found with O319 on our boxing day road trip. TFTC! Cache is 100% there. The location is all in the name at ground level.
Looks like this one is gone and therefore in need of maintenance. I don't know if anyone has been looking after it locally, but the CO doesn't seem to have visited the website for a few years now. Hope it can be replaced.
Unlike the previous visitors here, we had GPSs, and weren't reliant on our phones. But we still couldn't find the cache.
Have been planning another trip down to Wagga Wagga. But had to postpone it while the Geo Dawg was recuperating from her knee operation and now she has recovered it is time to put the plan into action. Rather than travelling down the boring concrete strip called Hume. I decided to head out West through Bathurst, Blaney and then South to Cowra, Young hence Wagga Wagga with a view to complete the RGGT Series and find others caches of opportunity along the way. Log needs replacing it's soaked. Great cache. TFTC
Fantastic to be in Bathhurst area with tmann421 geocaching & taking in the views.

On the road again! This one proved to be quite an easy find on a road that seems vey quiet. I wonder if the warning about getting off the road is maybe tongue in cheek, or perhaps it does get busy sometimes.

A quiet road today - or is it always Glad to find that the cache is there after all. TFTC
We could not see why this one would have gone away, so we assumed it was buried and finally came up with a very sad cache. It definitely needs a new container and we did not have one with us. Maybe someone later could take something and renew this one? Anyway, a find is a find! TFTC
We decided this must be there somewhere and finally came up with a bedraggled cache with some pulp and plastic that used to be the log. We had a new log with us but not a cache, but at least now it is findable and signable, although I would not expect it to be watertight. Some kind soul might replace the cache sometime. TFTC

Trip home continues Blayney to Bathurst with deviations for caches. As we were on this road tried for it despite string of DNFs. No sign of cache. Probably needs to be archived.

Well, after searching for a while for this one we realised it had not been found since 2010. I have to say we were a little disappointed. Perhaps this one should be archived if it not going to be replaced. Thankyou anyway.
Search ups and downs...readed previous logs... dunno if still there or missing... Thanks for bringing me to the spot
Spent at least 10mins looking for this one but came up empty. Maybe we will come back another day.
No go here, 4 sets of eyes couldn't come up with the goods. I suggest this one needs a look.
Thanks for the chance.
Thanks for the chance.
Hmmm, at this point we realised we had a pocket query failure with only some caches making it across and not others. Very strange. Anyway, Zsazsa7 had the coords for this, but maybe we were looking for the wrong thing - could see where everyone else had looked but no cache.
Nope, couldn't find this one. Didn't see it on any of the posts. Either I was blind, which I do have a blind spot for micros, or it had dropped. In which case, the grass was really long and I didn't like the idea of scratching around for it.
Another one that was a bit too wet for recovery. Found it on the ground, and replaced the log. Thanks for the stop.
Found the cache lying in the grass but luckily the log inside was dry. Placed it back where we thought it shoul be T4TC.
Found by Mary & David at 1355. Found the cache where it was supposed to be, and the log is nice and dry too. Some lovely trees here. Our thanks again to Parf.
Got to gz and staarted looking at obvious spots, when I noticed the cache lying on the ground. "That's not right" I thought, and placed it in a spot totally in keeping with the name, and probably where it was supposed to be. Thanks Parf for the cache.
Approached this one with some caution given several cachers have mentioned Joe Blakes in the area. Didnt see any, but the heavy stomping probably helped.
Like most of the previous finders i found on the ground, i left it there as i hadnt read the previous logs and didnt realise it probably belonged elsewhere, (it was toward the end of a long day DOH!)..i did however cover it lightly with a nearby piece of bark.
A post at a spot not really known for anything..mmmm..probably not mt favorite cache, but a find, is a find!

Snakes, i hate 'em.
i was however able to retrieve this cache and still avoid what would be their obvious lair.
thanks for the cache.

K9AAA was feeling pretty pleased with himself after finding his first cache earlier on and was letting the bull nearby know all about it. Good thing he stayed in the car for this one. Log sheet was soaking wet and unreadable, so replaced it for you. TFTC.
DANGER DANGER DANGER
A couple of brown snakes seem to have made a home here. Unsure of where cache is but coords were right where the snakes were. A DNF.

Found at 1630. A nice quick drive by cache, and whilst the cache was easily found, I was on the lookout both muggles and snakes. Fortunately there were none to be found of both species.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Bathurst Invasion Weekend. We spent awhile checking various spots, and then it turned up on the ground. It was returned to a logical spot at GZ. Thanks.
