Tftc parf, didn't see any trains today. Did see a cache log signed. All good here
Super easy to find. Amazing 360 views. Thank you for bringing me to this amazing spot! TFTC
Hatzofff and I are in Bathurst for a few weeks house sitting, and of course have time for lots of caching.
Today we journey to the Blayney area.
Bummer! We just missed the train - it was pulling into Blayney. Can you see it in the photo?

Caching to day in the area.

On a big weekend caching with oldmorty and Frazeydaze and logs have signed OMF.
Would like to thank all cache owners, for making and maintaining the caches.

OCW frazerdaze and marj01. House sitting at White Rock for a week has provided an opportunity to do some geocaching runs around Bathurst - mainly TRLT series indispersed with a number of trads and puzzle caches. During the day we saw lovely scenery, lots of sheep and cattle, a few foxes and one deer in the forestry area. We even encountered fire persons doing a burn off which included two of the caches we were chasing. Please excuse the generic logs and thanks to all the CO's for placing the caches and adding to our enjoyment. For expediency all logs were signed OMF.
Find No.3772 while based in Blayney for the weekend.

lovely views here today, the air is really clear at this time of year. I'm enjoying travelling this back road, the steers nearby were very curious but a tad too shy to come close. tftc

Found with nissan 65 on a few days away caching. Thanku for the cache . Happy caching
#4726 - 15:45; Off on another day run with Sol de lune. This time we are headed to Blayney via Goulburn and Crookwell and many small towns in between. A few more in the 'History of.....' series are on the radar, along with any other caches along our planned route. We were now headed for home along some more back roads, collecting the caches off our 'to do' list along the way. A short detour and a quick find on this one on the way through. TFTC Parf
10932. Found during a slightly delayed two day Queens Birthday long weekend run up through the Cowra region.
With so many new caches up this way I headed off early this morning loaded up with many solved puzzles and also with a few Multis in my sights as well. About 2 and 1/2 hours after leaving Canberra I arrived in the area and started caching. This was the next one on my list. Another nice quick find on this one. Signed, returned, and it was off to the next one.
Thanks Parf !! Certainly is a great spot for train spotting !

No one was anywhere near here today, so we had no muggle problems at all and made a quick find.
Thanks

We saw no trains nor any locals. We parked next to the pile of metal rail tracks and walked up to the bridge. We've seen many caches hidden in these, but this one was done a little better, making me doubt, for a moment, it would be there. Thanks
A long weekend camping / caching trip was suggested by a fellow cacher, and an event was organised. The main thing to consider on a long distance drive is how many caches along the route can be found.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Found with JustR and being geeky train peeps, we couldn't go past one called Train Spotting. SL TFTC
Would be a nice spot to watch the trains, but none today. Felt very exposed. It's a bit hard to not look a bit out of place as the locals drive past slowly watching you. TFTC
Found this one quickly and easily but had to leave before we managed to spot any trains. TFTC.
In luck - scored a 4 engine train AND the cache at the same time. It's a good uphill gradient so you hear the train long before seeing it. Top spot for a hide TFTC
We have been to some really good train caches and this is up there with the best great spot Unfortunatly log was a waterlog and couldn't write anything so we changed log sheet and put it in a ziplock

Have been planning another trip down to Wagga Wagga. But had to postpone it while the Geo Dawg was recuperating from her knee operation and now she has recovered it is time to put the plan into action. Rather than travelling down the boring concrete strip called Hume. I decided to head out West through Bathurst, Blaney and then South to Cowra, Young hence Wagga Wagga with a view to complete the RGGT Series and find others caches of opportunity along the way. Log will need replacing sometime soon very damp. Great cache. TFTC
Fantastic to be in Bathhurst area with tmann421 geocaching & taking in the views.

We found a really nice campsite at Bakers Shaft and after a bit of a late getaway we again started heading north aiming for the pprass camping event this weekend picking up caches along the way. We parked the camper at the bottom of the hill and walked to gz and came across a great train spotting venue. Unfortunately we didn't see any today but we could see the tracks where they have been. The cache itself took longer to find than it should have as a very industrious spider had added considerably to the camo. It was sonly on our third look where he GPS kept insisting it was that we used a stick to feel around, we heard rather than saw of felt it and are happy to see our names have been added to the log
Found, while visiting Bathurst to see in the New Year.
Good hide, great spot.

Drove to the parking near roadside... found the cache easy...had lunch with me dog...Thanks Parf
GPS's all over the joint here, but SolDelune came up trumps, going for the obvious.
Would have loved to have had a train run underneath, (as would a certain Winglen I imagine), however not so lucky on that count.
Thanks for the cache.

Found with Zsazsa7 and Sol de Lune on our weekend away in Bathurst. Gosh, we were having a tough time with the satellites, all gps bouncing all over the place. Anyway, we made a find in the location we thought would be obvious, although it appeared to be 20 metres away. Great spot thanks Parf.
I do enjoy a bit of train spotting, so once we parked, I took off for teh nature area and, armed with the clue, made a quick find.
No trains going past today, but still all good. TFTC

Found with a hint (because of the cold) but would have got it eventually any way. Actually spotted a train as well! TFTC

A quick one on the road home after a big weekend.
Nice spot at this time of evening.
Thanks.

Spotted another cache in a train of micros out here. Carefully retrieved cache without bothering the spiders. It was right on dusk and looked amazing.
Not that easy to drive up in a big car - actually very easy to drive up but not to turn around. Thanks for the cache.
This was the last of the series of caches along this road for us and as we were signing the log a train went past and tooted log nice and dry T4TC.
Last one on the end of a great little road. Only thing we saw were a lot of cows in the paddock.
thanks for the cache it was quick and easy. took a pair of scissors and left a green frog.
Found by Mary & David at 1340. Somebody with friends in the right places has a farm here? How much did that cost? We did enjoy getting off the main roads. Our thanks to Parf.
Done a few train caches in NSW, so pretty attuned to hunting for them Cheers Gav [4259]
I could think of another name for this one but it would give the surprise away. Cache was in the first place I looked. As I was leaving I heard a train coming, but it was only a maintenance vehicle. What a let down!
Very easy find today, the 9th of 12. Missed a train by about half an hour, one passed me on the way into Newbridge..ah well.
Maybe the property has been there awhile...."If you wanna build a railway line thru here.....build me a bridge and we can begin talking!"

This one looks like a good example of "your tax dollars at work".
i guess whoever lives on that property must have some pull with the local council.
Thanks for the cache.

Cool spot. Lots of interesting things to find if you are bit of a bower bird. TFTC.
Found at 1620. Decided to take the back way to Blayney, and this one was a surprising little stop. Great view point of the tracks here, and didn't see one single muggle along the way.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Bathurst Invasion Weekend. I was impressed by the bridge built to nowhere. I suppose farmers have a lot of clout. We only just had to get out of the car for this one. Thanks.
