I checked on this one while in the area a couple of weeks ago and as stated by previous searchers the sign is no longer there. The CO has not responded to 2 maintenance requests and doesn't appear to be active any more.
Went looking for the sign, but nothing there at all. I suppose I could have had a look through the leaves but I was not really certain where the sign even was so decided to move on.
After looking around the area several times, I realised that the sign has either been removed or has been damaged/washed away in the recent flooding in the area. There has been significant damage here and rebuilding is currently happening.
First set of coordinates attached to the back of the sign are damaged and the last digit is missing, but the hint is still useful.
Took a little longer to find as coordinates in first stage slightly damaged, but was no problem in the end.
Log is wet.
Log is wet.
Found sticker on ground in leaves. Jammed it in behind the sign. Logbook very wet. Needs attention.
Another in the series of Mangrove to Mountains multis that are hard to pass up. On arrival here, it soon became apparent that the required information was missing, and a check of the last log confirmed it. A search of the nearby areas failed to produce a container, so it was back to the sign for a last ditch hail Mary. I got a stick and raked through the leaves and debris hoping to find the missing sticker..... And lo and behold, it worked....! Found the sticker, although it was missing the last digit. Inserted it to the corner of the sign in case anyone else needs it. Off to GZ, and found what I was looking for. Only due to sheer luck. TFTC, needs maintenance
The sticker is no longer attached, so there is no way of determining the final until sticker (or alternate method of determining coords) is replaced by CO
I had arrived at GZ, but sadly the co-ords were no longer there. I checked out previous logs and came to the conclusion that it was nearby - just needed the right stump. A quick check with a PAF and before their response - I had located the container. TFTC vwnuts
I had been spending the day finding caches for my February challenge, this was lucky last on the list for today.
We came through and collected the details from WP1 then headed over to collect the final. I was a little concerned it may have become a victim of Marcia, but not the case, this was high, although not quite dry. The log was a little damp.
Thanks vwnuts, I have been enjoying this series.

Tried this one a few months ago but it was missing at the time. Today I returned and tried the same likely spots. Found in the second place I looked. TFTC
I admit I had written this one off but was pleased to see it replaced. After my earlier DNFs, I knew exactly where to go and soon I was pulling out a solid container. TFTC and all the best. All is fine again.
Out and about today because a fishing trip was cancelled. What better thing to do than go and pick up some of those solved puzzles, multis, Jasmer challenge and Hidden Date challenge caches that seem to keep growing in my lists.
I noticed the other day that this one was back in play, so as I was driving past I decided to call in and try and grab it. I checked my listing, but had not kept the coord (they were on my GPS not my iPhone grrrr), but not to worry, I think I can recall where GZ was - or close enough anyway.
Yep GZ looks familiar, although a fair bit of undergrowth clearing since my last visit - and soon had a cache in hand.
Thanks to all who helped replace this one.

Have spoken to the CO who is not in the area and was unable to check on this cache. With the co's permission we have replaced this cache to keep it alive and loved . Thanks to vwnuts for a tranquil spot . We will be back to enjoy this area many times
DNF!!! With no reception on our phones we pulled into a carpark and walked to the sign post to collect the required information. Seirra1 quickly converted the co-ords and we went in search of the cache. Once at GZ we looked in all the likely places and the one where we thought the cache might be contained a dirty nappy (not what we were hoping for). As it's been 10 months since this one was last found I recommend that the cache owner check in it please. It's a lovely spot worth keeping!
Not in any if likely spots. Certainly not as easy as past finders have suggested in logs. Recommend CO intervention
Same coordinates, same result as last time. I dug around in the nearest stumps a bit more, but found nothing cache-like. Might be worth a check if someone's coming past?
My generally bad afternoon got worse here. I've done several of this series, but after loading up the UTM on my phone, I couldn't find anything in any stump anywhere near my GZ. My phone app suggested I needed the provided N and E numbers around the other way, but that seems most unlikely. After randomly checking more stumps, I found one hosting a waterlogged magazine of, let's say, a very dubious nature! You do come across some weird things in this game at times...
With my phone running low, I decided to abandon my work here and head off. I'll have to recalculate it at home perhaps and see if I can work out what went wrong.

This cache wasn't on my list of too dos for the trip out this way, but being so close I took the opportunity.
Thanks for an interesting cache vwnuts.

Found this cache whilst out with Angela minus Dave for a morning of caching before I had to head to work. We pulled up in the car park and I could already see the dependable sign we were looking for. I made the changes required and grabbed the info. We headed over towards the finals and when we were about 5 metres away I spotted a likely place. Yep there it was Thanks for the cache vwnuts
Park the car and make our way over to the sign with the coords.
GPS will need to be changed over to UTM. Done...
Its so nice to be able to complete a multi in an area like this and not get interrupted by muggles!!
Cache was found quickly and easily!
Thanks!!!

Out and about in the area today cleaning up a couple of those pesky question marks.
Saw this one just up the road from where we were and headed in. WP1 located and co-ords entered.
Arriving at GZ spotted the hiding spot really quick. Cache and log in good condition.
Another M2M done. Thought I had them all, but they just keep appearing

Nothing like a mini bush bash to find a dedicated track leading to gz... Spot was easily found and log signed. Another in the series completed! tftc vwnuts
Out on the geocycle having a ball. WP easily located and off to GZ. A nice quick find there too
Quick find after a nice walk around this lovely little spot. Sticker with coordinates is very faded and not terribly sticky. TFTC
Found this one while out with Gleak looking for a spot to place a new cache.
Nice easy find.

My attempt at entering the coordinates I swapped the last 2 digits around, that had my gps pointing 20 metres into a very dense patch of bush. Double checking is always a good idea. Followed a nice path to the cache and spotted a butterfly along the way. TFTC.
Another one of these where I have to change my GPS to UTM input - always takes me a while to figure out how to do this, but I'm getting better at it A pleasant walk along a little bushy trail found us at the cache. TFTC vwnuts.
I remember coming here with our oldest when he was a toddler . Thanks for giving us a reason to come back here .
As for the cache, thank goodness Matt knows how to work the GPS . Lovely walk to the cache .

Before venturing to find this one, I delved into my caching tools and used the tweezers to remove a rotten hitchhiking tick from my neck. Must have picked it up in the hills nearby. Ouch!
This was a quick find. I've done a heap from this series. I wonder how many there are?

Arrived at the given GZ and quickly spotted the next waypoint. Goldielover had specially downloaded an app for her phone but had not had a chance to put it into practice. I had my GPS but had no idea how to enter the UTM co-ordinates. But eventually we both managed to get a destination to go to. Not long after we arrived at a well hidden spot and our calculations paid off. The cache was in great condition. TFTC
Found with Stairman1. We had attempted this one a while ago but didn't have the UTM conversion app on my phone. Last night I downloaded it and today it worked a treat. . Located the container in a flash. Signed our names then headed off. Thanks vwnuts.
Having done the required calculation, wandered over and found the cache, a bit exposed, so covered it over again.
Can't believe I'm still finding caches in this series, there must have been a lot!!

I do like this series All the caches are simple and clear and enjoyable. I like the information that can be gleaned from the sign boards and I've learned how to convert between UTM and DM on my iPhone. Most satisfying TFTC vwnuts.
This is the second last of this series still alive for me to do. One of my favourite series, and I always look forward to a Mountains to Mangroves multi.
And like the others, this one too was worth the effort. Thanks vwnuts for such an awesome series. One to go!

When you think you have all the M2M series another one seems to pop up.
Found the WP and then did a bushbash to get to the cache.
Found that easily. I removed an inappropriate item from the cache before I restored it to its hide. TFTC.
I just checked and I still have 2 M2M to find. Enjoyed the experience.

Just as well we had the GPS on road mode as this one was not in the area we thought we would be parking in. Quite little park area with great facilities including bathroom and BBQ. We found the first waypoint quickly and then off to GZ. Nice stroll to GZ but suspect it could trickier after rain. Thanks for bringing us here at TFTC.
=) found with bubba89, removed a teabag from the cache as its not a great idea having perishables in one, picked up what looks like another persons caching rubbish and recovered the cache so it wasn't exposed, had a great walk around this really nice area TFTC =)
Forgot date and put in the 4th woops. Other than that fun find Early morning so no one about.
Find #42. Found 20/8/11 @1645.
This is our first find in this series. Had a bit of fun trying to work out the conversion on the iPhone but managed . No-one aroud this late on a Saturday, so a nice easy grab.
The log book is a little damp but the cache is surviving just fine.

Found ok after we finally worked out how change the GPSr to UTM co-ords. The container was a little wet inside, so we dried it as best we could and cleaned the seal before returning it to its hide. TN, Left Celtic Cross GC. Thanks vwnuts
This was nice quick find after the effort of the first two today! Beautiful shady spot! Did a bit of CITO...Why are people so messy?
A nice quick find after stopping for a picnic at the tables nearby.

Found this one today before the Rebellious Brunch event. We had no trouble finding the sign, but wokring out the GPSr to read the co-ordinates was a little challenging. Had to resort old GPSr.
It was such a great little park here, and enjoyed the wander to GZ, though started heading off in the worng direction before the wife sorted me out.
Thanks for an enjoyable cache.

I found this one quickly while my caching busy was up the hill and then nearly hit her head on a tree on the way down. Was a close call but lucky one of us found it. Thanks.
605 - Another one in this great series crossed off at 4:30pm. We found the cache lid not quite sealed which had allowed quite a lot of moisture in so we dried it out and replaced the contents. The good news is the log book is still dry and in good condition. Thanks again vwnuts.
As part of our cover story for Mission Impossible 2, we detoured via this cache to throw off any pursuers after retrieving the secret dossier. Found safe and well, damp outside but seal holding. TFTC. ='.'=
TFTC vwnuts. I am getting the hang of these ones now.
Nice quite little spot on an overcast winter's day.
While signing the cache one of those pesky cache dwelling frogs hopped on in.

This was cache # 14 of 32 on day three of my Brisvegas Tour. I soon had the information gathered and was soon on my way to GZ, several butterflies took flight as I walked along the trail. My thanks to vwnuts for the cache.
WOW>> Lovely park and good relax..Looked at Butterflies but Nothing there....... Oh damn it.. we love butterflies anyway hide well........
Found this while in the area tackling another cache. Collected the information from WP1 and off I set. Located GZ with no problems. As indicated in previous logs, cache is quite wet inside (including log). I carry some spares so I went back to the car and shouted it a new logbook, a plastic bag, and a new container. (I will take the old container and clean it up and re-use it elsewhere - it could no longer seal coz of the dirt on the seals) I left the old log in the cache in a plastic bag. TFTC vwnuts
The log is sodden and quite difficult to fill out (despite being brand new), would be great if a new one could be put in with a baggy to protect it. Many thanks.
Found with NyletaM at 15:00pm.
For about the third time today we ended up approaching this from the wrong way, making life mroe difficult than it needed to be.
Log and inside of cache was damp, however it was usable.

After the horrendous navigation error of the previous cache of the day coming at this one from the wrong side seemed unsurprising. Thankfully it wasn't nearly as difficult or long. TFTC
Lovely area, there were scouts out and about but we got the cache without being seen. The log book is very very wet and I am sorry but I didnt have anything to put a new one in its place. TFTH.
Found without too much trouble. Cache very wet in need of new log book. TNLNSL. TFTC.
we were out with the Geosister exploring some caches far from home. We found the coords and the cache fairly easily.

Tried to find this cache in the rain months ago but the GPS was playing up. Today it took us straight to the location and we had the cache in hand. Cache is damp, sorry didn't have a swap and plastic bag to fix the dampness. TNLNSL TFTC
Coords were a bit out for both stops but not too far and we found it relatively easily. Log book is very wet and needs some maintenance. Thanks vwnuts!! Great spot for a family-friendly cache
Found this one accidently. We found the sign and got the new co-ords but I was not sure how to change the GPS over to UTM so started to walk back home along the track. And what is that?? It looks like someone left it out to dry. No one around though. so we signed the log and put it back where we think it was meant to be.
Got the location for this one a while ago but had to wait for the water to go down and the area to open again. Unfortunately the log is very wet. TNLNSL TFTC
We don't have UTM co-ordinates function in our GPSr so we usually rely on the clue to find the M2M caches. We headed off after an enjoyable picnic to see if we would have any luck with this one as we have with others. After a couple of false starts we spotted GZ! TFTC
Wherever I go, these caches seem to appear. Imagine my surprise when I saw the sign and said to geowife, "I wonder if there are co-ordinates on the back". Ah ha, I than thought, this must be the multi that is nearby. Hey, we all have our senior moments now and then . And that's how I added another multi cache to my score. TN/LN/SL
We stopped here for a spot of morning tea before heading up into the park for the other nearby caches. Easily found after a short walk. TFTC
