Collected the cache and all contents intact from the security office. It had been spotted by one of their people and removed.
Grabbed the TBs to move them on.
Keep an eye out for this container to reappear somewhere else.

Our third DNF today a big hit for our /my confidence. After reading the other logs will/should find it on our next trip to the city.
One of my favourites today. The wall was crazy with the Epiphytes. Figured out the cache, and waited until the 900 lawn mowers went by, and grabbved the cache. Left a geocoin here. TFTC
Out for a lunch time stroll and found it very quickly. Happy I reread the clues/logs though. TFTC TNLNSL.
[Nice hide, and loved the clue. Had me scratching my head for a bit but worked it out. Took travel bugs, SL] The cache location is actually the opposite of the clue now but found it never the less.
Enjoyed breakfast in the park with geowife and geoson before going for a relaxing stroll through the gardens. Picked up cache on the the way. TFTC TNLNSL.

A lot of different aromas coming from the plants along the walk in to the cache.
Found it in the only logical spot.
TNLN. Thanks for bringing me for the walk through the garden.

Interesting cache container. The gardens are still looking very sad after the November storms.
Picked up "Hour Glass Time Traveller" TB and left "Don't Forget Your Thongs" TB to start his journey.

Wandered through the gardens after work. There were large lizards running about everywhere - they looked like they were soaking up the heat from the path. It was a real treat to see them.
Found cache not long before gates were to close. Fairly secluded spot but still had to keep a look out for muggles suddenly appearing around a corner in the path.

Easy find in the park. Geocaching certainly creates memories. We found this cache just after 6:30pm tonight. Nobody told us the park shuts at 6:30pm and we spent 15 minutes wandering around trying to get out. Not as easy as you think. We were stuck with a family who also was locked in. Left TB took Coin
This portion of the park is now open and the cache is still safely hidden in its resting place. Thanks to gefscofix for checking on this cache for me!
This one is being taken down until the park reopens and the cache can be checked on. Gefscofix will let me know when it can be brought back up.
I think this cache is unavailable currently.
The top half of Roma Street Parklands is closed due to storm damage, and signs indicate it is expected to be closed until December 31.

Since roundcircle logged a DNF on this one, I had gefscofix check on it. Glad to report that it is still there! The clues should help in locating this cache.
I had looked for this once before with no joy. After a read of the logs and working out what the hint meant I came back sure that I knew where to look. But the was still no sign. Pity as I had hoped to drop a bug off here. Maybe next time.
Beauty! Wonderful parkland here. Would love come again for bbq with friends.
Swap TB and Coin

Might be worth noting the Gates to GZ are locked in the dark hours. 19 Metres is the closest one can get.
1325. Another great spot in a park on our wanderings around Brisbane. The boys liked it so much they headed back tomorrow (time paradox? - no posting date 6/8)while I was at the planning exercise. I was a bit worried as we approached GZ as there were lots of groundskeepers types doing groundskeepers type things all around the place. Luckily we were out of sight.

Looked around a bit and then found the clue was spot on.

I'd arranged to meet Nasty Steve and family at gz. Nabbing the cache was easy enough....finding a lull in the passing muggles in order to replace took a wee bit longer.
Interesting container.
Cache dry and in good condition.
Thanks Blygoat

We had arranged to meet Wingy at this cache, and he had the cache in hand by the time we arrived. That was an easy find
It took quite a while for an opportunity to return it, but GZ is a great place to be, so the wait wasn't a problem.
When the coast was clear, the cache was replaced and we wandered off to do some other caches in this great park.
Thanks for the cache!

A nice easy find in a beautiful spot and we greatly enjoyed our walk around the park. Cheers, HawMorFords.
By the time we reached this cache i was beginning to feel the effects of being out caching in the rain for 2 hours.Great spoti really love this garden area.TFTC.
Well it was absolutely bucketing down today but that meant no-one else was around. After a few minutes of staring the cache was located and log quickly signed.
What a great hide! great clues, loved this cache! was good day to go caching, with it pouring down no one was about...pity we got soaked in the process! no swaps made, TFTC!
Found at 1130 hours. Great spot. Raining constantly today so it was quite easily spotted and relocated without any prying eyes. Took nothing but left geocoin.
What a miserable day today - rain, and cold.... perfect caching weather!!! Cache was quickly located, and I had just replaced the log when a group of German tourists walked past ... what were they doing there in the heavy rain fall? Luckily they moved on, and I could replace the container unseen. Ended up completely soaked! What a great day for someone from Toowoomba!

We love wandering around these gardens especially when everything is in flower. It was very rainy today so we took our waterproof pants, umbrella and raincoat! The rain obviously scared away the visitors cos there was no one around today TFTC
Found it while out with a bookcrossing and geocaching group. I loved this place and remembered visiting the area 3 years ago.
Found with some bookcrossing friends during our Bookcrossing convention. I had 2 cachers and 2 people who were interested in what it was all about!

These gardens are a favorite of ours. After careful inspection of the area the cache was soon found. TFTC
Time to breakout from work for 20 min. A cache on the radar, in a magic garden as well. Now what excuse will I use for my absence.
Found the cache in the allocated time but stayed on much longer to take in the beauty of the spot. I was surprised at the low muggle activity given it is School holidays
Great hide, but there is small degree of garden damage visible. Do take extra care if you go looking for this cache and make sure you tread softly.

Found this while posthaste looked on, at first I think I was either nervous because I had an audience, or simply a case of cache blindness.
Eventually I found it , and I like the container. We replaced it and then ran into the first of many weddings that seem to hamper some of our finds and DNFs.

What a spectacle
After breaking through the wall of OAP at the gate, I made it to the wall of EPI's
The cache was soon spotted, but full on stealth mode was needed to grab it, sign the logbook, grab the 'fieselschweif-around the world' geocoin and rehide said cache [:o]
At least there is an excuse provided for what would be considered wierd antics anywhere else in the gardens [^]
But I had to scamper off somewhere to open the box. I didn't want to try to explain to the gardening staff what I was doing with something that looked like part of the garden
TFTC and visit to a lovely area

Just dropping geocoin. Tried to drop coin last Friday but gates were shut at 7:45am
Found it on the way home. Was looking for another but too many muggles around for that one. Moved on to the WALL and getting dark o'clock around 5:30.
In: Red Guitar
Out: Puzzle, and btw, who put the puzzle in? Wifie and I spent the better part of two hours getting it apart... At last success, I can move it on to another unsuspecting cache.

As we were in the area, what we were to do other than attempt this cache, so what if it was dark and we didn't have any torches? Just HAD to give it a go. Well the short of the long is that we found it after a few very tentative pokes at potential hiding spots Will be back in daylight to admire what seems to be a very beautiful garden
Thanks for a great cache

Back again this afternoon during daylight hours I had been walking around the gardens yesterday morning looking for a good hiding spot for an ammo can (there are none!) but I hadn't come into the Spectacle Garden before and what a spectacle it is! These have got to be some of the best gardens in Brisbane, even with the drought to contend with. The description and the hint had me looking in the right place right away. I didn't find any of these cache containers while in Guam, so I'm glad I could find one in my own backyard TFTC blygoat. Took keyring, left metal puzzle.
It might be worthwhile being extra cautious of muggles (security!) here, as the gardens are locked at night due to the plants being stolen - so don't look like you're pocketing any greenery!

Found it just after lunch. Amazing how few people were in the area at the time. Fortunately there is a nice big hole in the wall which I think you are meant to look through to get a different angle on the gardens. Also means it doesn't look like you have lost something. TFTC
A bit bemused that this went unfound yesterday but not early enough to beat an enthusiast!
A great hide in the midst of plenty - plants and muggles that is.
The surrounding gardens are well worth the visit and a look around.

Ducked out to get this one on the way to work (6am-ish) and found a nice clean untouched logbook. (nice of security to close up at night!!!)
As I left a security guard was walking with purpose to the hide location, so I am unaware if the hide is under camera surveillance or not. Nice to see a find later in the day.
I am ashamed to say that I have not been to this particular part of the park, and I shall be returning!! This is heavenly!
I am intrigued by the container, and wonder about what it was used for. Nice hid, nice spot, and thanks!! *FTF* honours for me!!

Well my attempt at this cache was thwarted by a locked gate and a rent-a-cop. I approached the cache then needed to turn right - what!? A locked gate? Rent-a-cop drives past us at this stage as we're peering through the gate. Let's try this from another approach. Locked gate again! But this time the gap between the wall and the gate is big enough for me to squeeze through [^]
Just as I'm scanning for alarms and security cameras, rent-a-cop pulls up and very helpfully informs us that this area of the gardens is closed. Well duh! We ask what time it opens but all he tells us is what time it closes. So I ask what time it closes and he tells us what time it opens. Huh[?] We somehow managed to ascertain that this area is closed between sunset and sunrise. So he carefully watches us to make sure we leave again - I will try again soon!
