Time to let go - replaced it a couple of times.
Thanks for visiting - always a great spot for a view over the area.
Maybe someone else can think of a good hide here.

Hi Kiwileon. I heard from some other cachers that they couldn't find this one. Was in the area and I tried to find it. It wasn't where I found it months ago. Think it has been muggled.
Felt and looked in all cabbage trees I could see and no luck must have been muggled or got lost. Can you please check on it if can kiwileon.

Great views even in the rain. Muggles parked nearby so difficult to spend much time looking.
Nice quick and easy park n grab whilst in the area collecting other caches. Awesome views from up here! TFTC!
Nice view. GPS sent me in a few different directions, so had to resort to using the hint.
Two wins. A beautiful outlook on a Sunday afternoon and found $5 in the car trying to find a pen to log this one. Great!! TFTC.
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
We spent a nice afternoon out East Auckland, picking up a few caches as we drove around. An interesting thing happened at this cache - we didn't actually find the cache, but instead found only the Travel Bug that was listed as being in the cache!!?? So we took the TB with us, contacted the owner and he quickly checked the cache and confirmed that it has now gone and gave us permission to log the find. Nice view from up here also. Thanks for the, um, trackable!

No sign of the container - replaced it with a mint tin.
Thanks Phasevisit?or for pointing out this issue - don't think the TB would have fit into the film canister

What an amazing view! Wow!
JacktheAllBlack found this one - and pretty quickly too.
We soaked in the view before heading off.
No muggles around today - nothing dodgy in the area on a sunny Sunday afternoon.

Hello, nice little cache indeed! Found this about a week ago and left a note in the log... returned today to leave a trackable there too! Maori Ducky has been on a long journey from NY and is close to the final destination which is to the South Island. If anyone is going down there... please help Maori Ducky get to AnnieWildfire and PB - Thanks! =)
Found relatively easily, although had to avoid the aforementioned amorous muggle couple doing their thing in a nearby vehicle. TFTC.
#535, GPS was wildly off, my GPS was 100m off target. Found using hint.., I wonder if this is why it hasn't been found for the last year. Car park was busy, parked up and sneaked around the bushes by the road. lads up to no good did not see me.....I guess they were away with the fairies. TFTC
There was a car parked near GZ, so had to search surreptitiously.
Worth the visit as the views were very good.

will have to try again on a day tis all a bit clearer, Blowing a gale didn't exactly help, TFTC
Out on a mission to chalk up as many finds today as possible. Shame this area is mostly a carpark.
Quick find once the clue was read. TFTC.

I was amazed that they made a carpark here....why not beautiful green grass area???
Easy cache, took it in one go. Nice hidingspot, like this

KiwiLeon cache number three this evening and another easy find. Barely had to get out of my car! I was expecting a longer effort with the 3 star rating. GPS did have me looking at a sea of flax, which is always concerning, but I decided to follow my nose instead. Having just done those earlier KL caches I think I was in tune with his thought process here. Very nice views up here as sunset approaches. I'm not sure who is supposed to use this (car)park exactly. Still, thanks for bringing me here Kiwileon!
Quickly found once a muggle in the car park departed. I didn't expect to see this view from here so I got a surprise.
Just before we arrived a Muggle parked up in the car park and we waited ages for him to go. When he showed no signs of leaving we got out and pretended to take some pictures of the stunning views. Quick find, nice hiding place, took the GeoCoin.
Will have a look, but it's not the first time I went to check it out and it was still there......
Found as part of my three week caching trip from Wellington to Auckland - # 932. Thanks.
Had some "business" to do in the area tonight so took the opportunity to look for this one. Nice easy find while enjoying the Auckland city lights T4TC

Out for an early morning constitutional (pre-breakfast
caching raid) in Howick. Nice view towards the
neighbourhood where I lived for 22 years in a previous
life.

Found on an East Auckland and beyond cache raid with Kiwi Explorer. Waited for paper-reading-muggle in nearby car to leave then had an (eventually) successful search for the cache. TFTC, Biggles.
Found with Biggles while on a tour of East Auckland. A bit tricky tracking this one down today but got there in the end. TFTC.
we took the grandies out for the day their first goecaching day and they had a ball , they live in the area and never been to any of the 4 caches we did today
The views are very impressive from up here.
Parked as close to the cache as possible, then made a fairly quick find.

Didn't have to worry about muggles...the carpark was locked, so we approached from a different angle. There was an empty beer bottle sitting all alone in the carpark however. It's a wicked cache to try find in the dark...but we managed it.

Out with Glyn and BackPAQer today to see how many caches three guys can find powered only by Wild Bean Cafe coffee and ham rolls. The weather was wet but the spirits were high.
Nice spot views were great at night as well.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

Good views for sure, a well chosen spot. Very windy up here today, didn't realise Auckland had winds like this.

Yes ...the muggles were there doing - whatever, while Pooke & I were trying to be elusive. TFTC
Found this before picking up the owner for a day of caching.
Updated co-ordinates and a lack of Muggles on a rainy day did the trick. Views have always been nice here. I like the night time view myself.

Stopped by today to check the cache out, but there were muggles near GC. Will probably take a few visits.
Gave up after some time. The hiding place looks as though it has been flattened by some machine and was very hard to search in.
Thank you. David.
Thank you. David.
Went out today to find cache.
Whilst looking 2 muggles from No. 10 kept saying they found the cache, took it and havnt put it back.
BEST CHECK IT IS STILL THERE or else go see the boys at no. 10 across the road. We checked every 'synk ohfu' in the area
Thanks

Funney coming back here after all these years. I used to park up with my now wife here years ago as teens and eat Georgie Pie.
Alas we waited out the muggles but came up short on the find.

This one has been bugging me for many months as my closest unfound and I must of pulled up in this street at least 10 time. The 'Synk Ohfu' has died off to the extent of making this slightly easier. TNLNSL and hid really well for the next finder T4TC

Great view from this cache, must be real nice at night too.
Co-ords were a little out, but due to no muggles to worry about we had plent of time.

AH, FINALLY. Must have been to this spot about half a dozen times on my past 2 visits to NZ. Every time there were muggles here parked very close by. Sometimes I'd sit and wait but as they left more would come and it was the same every time, at least the views are good.
This time only 1 car that pulled in just in front of me, but this time I waited them out for an uninterrupted cache search, find, log and re stash.
Left Crikey GC. Cheers.

Hah - found at last! Secret was to go at dinner time Cache was lying on ground so I put it where I thought it would have been going by the hint. Cheers Gav [2786]
Lucky to find no muggles at GZ on the second visit. Relatively straight forward find otherwise.

Continuing on with my cache raid on the Eastern suburbs (no. 9).
There would have been great views if it wasn't for the low cloud.
Cheers for the cache.

Yay! must be about the 5th trip here, and the first time we have been able to search, found quickly.

Team GeoDutch were just about to give up & move on when Liempdma spotted this one. Very little Muggle problems on a Sunday morning - all at church?
#rd time lucky, pulled up, muggles, they soon went, looked in the wrong places last time, not looking good for a caching Guru. Pleased to have this ticked off, grabbed some pics.
Thanks for the hunt.
Thanks for the hunt.
Checked out cache after a few DNF's. Cache is still in the same place. It took me 3 visits to get there myself. I will change the difficulty to *** due to the high muggle factor and "neighbourhood watch"
One of three caches tried this evening, all hunts failures. Perhaps they would be easier in the daytime? Cheers Gav
Even though it was dark and Monday night, there were still muggles up on the view. I checked a few nearby locations, but I think the spot I needed to be was just a little to visible. Cheers Gav

Getting dark now, GZ free from muggles but lots of houses nearby and low light made this more of a challenge. Great views by night, looking forward to a re-visit during the day.

No muggles because it was raining and not very nice out. Looked and looked, but no such luck. Might be back if the weather gets a little nicer.
Went for a walk with Mrs HC but there were too many muggles to approach gz. Will return.

Quick find, luckily for us, all the muggles decided to leave when we arrived. Great urban viewing spot we didn’t know about.

Muggles in the carpark, neighbours with cats across the road, thought this one is in a bit of an exposed position, hard to get any cover. Maybe consider moving it across the other side??? Waited for St Ouens to arrive and admired the views from the seat. TFTC
#956. This is mind kinda caching. Dial a buddy, they find a cache and wait for you to arrive to log it. Thanks Tramper Ted. TFTC.
