Finally found this cache…been here a couple of times and got distracted by the clues…this time just read the description and there it was…TFTC
I found this on a hike while mum and dad were checking on an old hide. We had a picnic on top of the row k then went down to find the cache. Mum & Dad say the bushes have grown much thicker around the area since they hid the cache!
After an event this morning I decided to go for a walk up waterfall gully to collect 3 caches. A nice 5km return walk and all 3 were found.
A nice walk to this one, this cache took nearly 30mins to find. Knowing it was here I pushed on. Finally I moved the right rock and the cache was found all in good order. How the hint can throw you off

After not finding it on our first attempt because we took to long and it was getting dark, we found it on our second try quick enough to not pull out the phone and look at the clue again. Great spot for a cache with the beautiful view.
Amazing spot!! I love caches like this. Cleland was busy today with everyone escaping isolation, but off the main path it became very quiet. I approached this one the wrong way but got there in the end, almost looks like an old path leading up from the lower track? Cache is in great condition still. Thanks for taking me here!
Today was the first time in a long time that we have walked around Cleland, so there was plenty of caches to be found. This was the first find of the day after a quick search around the rocks. TFTC
Located with clare007 and hevwalker on a lovely day for a wander!! Thanks Frozen Feet for the hide!!……………… spot on co ordinates.
Out & about wandering through the hills with CPwanderer & clare007...a pleasant day for a bit of hilly caching
We had just walked up from the cache down by the creek amongst the blackberries & decided to take a different route back up the hill than the steep track down...
Turns out it was a good decision as the track was not nearly as steep, though it was longer and we managed to pick up this cache along the way...
Nice area of rocky outcrop...
Thanks Frozen Feet for the cache, the views & the exercise

We continued back up the track, not wanting to trek back up to the steep nursery track.
Contemplating a different track back & detouring to Ashenvale.
We came across a hiker who had come from that direction & confirmed the track was a good one.
The panoramic views were stunning during the walk, including the view from gz and the nearby track.
We were quite glad to find our way to Greenhill road & the car.
Thanks for bringing us here & the cache Frozen Feet

We targetted the caches in the western end of Cleland today on a warm (35 degree) day. The walk up Chambers Gully track was pleasant early, then made the ascent to this cache. Went off the track and started hunting around - then saw a rock that looked a bit sus - yup - there was the cache. Considered myself a bit lucky as there were lots of spots to hide the cache. Great views from GZ too! 14 months unloved - was good to find this one and sign the log. Thanks Frozen Feet!
Found while taking a walk in the northern part of Cleland Conservation Park.

Nice peaceful part of the park around here and some impressive rocks. Found after a shore search. TFTC Frozen Feet!
This one kind of reminded me of another difficult to find Rock-related cache just down from Glenalta railway station with a much higher D rating This one's D rating is too modest me thinks [8)] 2 and a half D would be more accurate The cache was in hand some 15mins after beginning the search due to the clue telling me where to focus my search SL at 13:30 on Sat 27 Aug 2016. Cache and contents all good and dry [^] TNLN TFTC Frozen Feet
A short walk in the park with Purrfect Di,
some serious scrambling over wet rocks,
and a cache was found for the first time in almost a year.
Sneaky hide, nice views. Koalas everywhere!

Went to Ashenvale during my lunch break. Its a nice area and there is still plenty of evidence of the fire. I'm wearing some of the black marks from the burned trees on my jeans. Spent too long in the wrong spot and after almost giving up my GPS started to give better assistance. The distance to GZ eventually read 0 metres and guess what I found. I found a golf ball a little way away and placed it in the cache. Thanks Frozen Feet for my extended lunchtime adventure.
After descending to the bottom for a cache, we made our way back up again via this one. We did spot many beasts in trees on our ascent and one put on a very impressive display of grunting and growling. Our faces were not very ashen after walking back up the hill, more like tomatoes.

Quick find on a hot morning, hint was very helpful thanks! Resident koala guarding cache! Tftc
Must have had fire through here recently since Ashenvale looked a bit crispy. Found with the hint. TFTC. Cheers
Discovered by geokid #2 after a pleasant late afternoon hike. Spotted 2 kangaroos, koala and a spider. TFTC Wibbles.
Found this today. It was our first cache...pretty exciting!!! Searched for about 25 mins, almost gave up...reckon it should be upgraded to at least a 2 on difficulty! Can't wait to do more

I decided that I would have an afternoon out and about walking in the hills while my better half was at home studying. A couple of caches were earmarked in Chambers Gully to collect. The walk up to this one was interesting, spotted some movement on the other side of the valley and first thought it was a goat. So I sat and watched for ahile and low and behold it was a deer wandering around without a care in the world. Anyway back to the cache - searched GZ for about 20 mins and finally came up trumps. TFTC...
Great hide. Lovely walk.
There was no pencil so I left a Red Nose Day pen for the next people.

Nice spot. Saw a lot of koalas in the area. Took awhile to find it but then wondered why we didn't see it earlier. TFTC
Finally today was the day to go and find this one, after having it on my radar for 18 months.
A very pleasant walk down to a nice location. Then trouble hit. Suffering from severe cache blindness I searched and searched for 30 minutes. Even after reading the recent logs and knowing the approximate area to look the blindness persisted.
Finally I struck gold and could leave feeling satisfied I found a plastic box. SL. Thanks for the cache Wibbles.

Came in to retrieve the second container, thanks to Cruiz-n for alerting us to its location.
Turns out the original container was moved SIGNIFICANTLY. The original hide was at the base of the very large boulder, at some point it was moved to the top.
The original has been replaced in its proper spot and the replacement cache removed.
PLEASE do not move the cache to a completely different hiding spot. It causes problems such as this - two containers being found by different teams, travel bugs missing and then found etc.
We've re-done the "W" and will also upload a spoiler picture shortly to make the find a little easier, since there are many places this could be hidden!

(Formerly DavMal60) A very pleasant easy walk in from Greenhill Rd. TFTC Team Wibble.
Hi Team Wibble,
I think both caches must be in circulation as the one I signed today had "Are we there yet" and "Disk" signatures but no o'cholio. The cache I signed today was sitting totally exposed in the grass above the large rock formation. It had been there for sometime as the grass was quite yellow underneath it. I have hidden it nearby and have taken several photos to send to you so that you may want to replace it where it should be. Let me know an email address so that I can send them to you. It will show you where it is hidden.
Cheers and happy caching

We've driven past this a few times and noted the parking spot, which made it much easier to find today. And this was our last unfound cache (that we know of) in Cleland - well, at least until we solve another puzzle or until the next cache is published. Found after a painless search. Interesting formations. TFTC Wibbles.
Wouldn't have normally walked up here - lots of up hill and the weather was warming up too [xx(].

It looks like Are We There Yet found the original cache, as they picked up the Skipping Flippering Fire Breathing Cachers' Geocoin that was in the cache when it went missing...
Standing on the Long Ridge Track just about to go back to the geo-vehicle when decided to check for nearby caches. Yep, one not far away. Started towards it on the track and soon discovered it was the way crow flies. After taking a short cut track which was about 4 and a half stars I ended up on the Chambers Gully Track. From there it was easy going, only a few puff, puffs and the cache was in my hands (with a little bit of looking). Took a geocoin. Thanks Team Wibble for an interesting walk in the foggy park.
Took quite a time to find but eventually found the 'w' after first missing it and even looking behind. Initially I thought the cache was missing again but a bit more of a look and it was found. Nice place although I would have used that terrain to it's full extent!
At the time we had a visitor from Japan, so they really enjoyed the walk as we spotted a few koalas on the way.
Being one of the first caches we ever tackled, we did not read the 'clue' and one of the team was sent using a mobile phone light to explore the area listed in the clue.
This added to experience and challenge. Some time passed whilst the team wandered around trying to work out the best place to hide a cache and finally we found it

Thought I would enjoy the walk down Chambers track from Greenhill Rd to GZ. Searched around what the GPSr said was GZ but after searching for 45 minutes and it was starting to drizzle decided the GPSr was either leading me astray or I had my eyes shut. Couldn't find the "W" either. The walk back was not as enjoyable as I kept wondering where that b....y cache was hiding. Thanks for the pleasant walk anyway. Have to give it another go. Thanks Team-Wibble
Thanks Team Wibble for restoring the cache.
Took little peg, Left a red die. Signed log. TFTC Team Wibble.
Rehidden with much care.

New cache replaced. There was NOT a cache where we orginally hid it! It's possible the old one may be there is it suffered considerable cache creep, but this seems unlikely. Of all our caches, this is not one we expected to go missing! The indicative "w" is still there but the cache is well hidden behind it. Please ensure the cache is well hidden after replacing and that the "w" rock appears naturally placed. If you find the old cache (lots of names in the log book) please let us know.
It sounds like this one may have gone. When health allows, we will check on it and replace if necessary.
Having already decided not to venture back up to the Long Ridge Track the way we came from, we took a circuitous route (again!) to the Batrill Spur track via this cache. Didn't see the W---we just went to where we'd expect a Wibble to put a cache.
Nice one! Another good spot for a cache in a part of the park I've not been before.
Thanks Wibbles.

Okayee, another slightly weird theme. It seems not only Enid had an 'active' imagination
Still staying the right way up I waddled over to this one. Quite a walk back to the car but. Good day for it tho. Really glad to live in a town that is so close to the hills for walks in the nature.

Took me a bit of looking around. Didn't see the clue until after I replaced the cache! More worried about hiss worms than bears today, did see two stray dogs as well which is a first for me in a national park. Nice spot TFTC
This was our second visit. Good to get out for a walk in the sunshine and spend our time spotting koalas. Last time we were here there were 4 within metres of the cache and today was saw similar numbers but slightly more spread out.
Still spent some time searching with our gz the other side of the rocks. Widened the search and eventually Mr S came up trumps. Oh, now we see the clue! Thanks Team Wibble for getting us out and up in this area again.

That last part of the track lets you know about it. Searching around and around for quite a while without success. Got a shock when a mountain bike came hurtling down the hill at high speed, though I might have found his remains on the way back at the speed he was travelling but he must have made it. Widened the search in desperation and found on the other side of the large rock from where the GPS wanted me - my unit wanted me 9 metres east. Should have been quicker but a lot of possible hides to check. Thanks Team Wibble.
As we were driving near this one & needed some exercise we spent over 1 1/2 hours altogether, enjoying the walk in & then clambering all over this interesting area. From below, looking upwards, we decided that the whole grouping of massive rocks coud ressemble a 'W', but searching across their base still brought no results! With the batteries on the GPS dying I suddenly remembered that I had Freddo's phone# but even with his suggestion of a more definate 'W', the cache still eluded us! Could the recent rains have washed it off? We'll be interested to hear more on this one!
Find 586 My Way without a GPS at 12.30pm
Tackled this one with a very poor Google Earth image, a map of Cleland Conservation Park and a few hints from the logs.
After a short hike and a scramble in the scrub the cache was found.
Took Nothing
Left a Koala.

Somewhere up in the Tallowwood mountains I was wandering around in Bunyip country and getting closer to this cache
The rumbling noises emanating from the area were giving me the creeps [:o]
The closer I got to the cache the more the rumblings began to sound like the gnashing of very big teeth !!
OK! So I could have dismissed the noises as the sounds of a jet departing Adelaide airport flying overhead, but I wasn't convinced that was a logical explanation given that I hadn't actually seen a jet
The sight of the cache strewn about GZ when I arrived only convinced me further that some evil menace lurked within the caves here [:o]
As I gathered the remains I noticed the teeth marks on many of the bits. A metal screwdriver that had been a swap was snapped in half [:o]
What manner of demon could have caused such destruction ?
Feeling very uneasy I quickly reassembled the cache and filled in the logbook.
I know why they call this place Ashenvale now. That's the colour your face is when you leave
I replaced the cache where my GPS and the clues suggested.
A dead tree stands guard
TFTC in a scary place [^]

Found as part of a caching run to complete the Well Rounded Cacher Game.
There was a growing sense of gloom at GZ, and it wasn't only the clouds massing to unleash another downpour, I looked high and low and in every crevice and couldn't see anything resembling a cache hide. Then the clouds lifted and so did my mood when the mark of WNot appeared at the end of a sunbeam.
Took Unite for Diabetes TB and left TBG Geocacher's Day geocoin to continue is travels.
Thanks Wibbles for another interesting cache.

The satellite gods were against me all day, and this was no exception. But, having expended the energy to get to the general area I was NOT going to go away empty-handed. At one point (supposedly GZ within 2 metres, which incidentally was a grassy knoll with not a rock in sight) the GPS flipped out to 55+ metres. After a thorough (and somewhat lengthy) search, I stumbled upon the elusive cache (still with the readings varying eratically between 8 and 45 meters!). Dropped off Diabetes TB, took the bouncy egg, and trudged off wearily. Thanks for the adventure Wibbles!
Checked in today and the cache is safe and sound - even slightly visible!
Strengthened the mark somewhat and added a couple of clues.

Spent well over an hour searching for this without success. Rang a helpline and that still didn't make any difference. Took nothing, left frustrated.
Did see plenty of wildlife on our walk to the cache. Came down the steeeeeeeep track from Long Ridge track and then saw 8-10 bunnies, 2 kangaroos, 6 koalas.

I had a cursory search for this cache as I was passing but did not devote too much time as I was going to be late to grab the kids from daycare. Oh well, a good reason to return then.
Well I think the sign of the W needs to be painted on clearly somwhere because I searched, slipped, squeezed into palces not designed for my larger than average bum, got very dirty and a few scrapes, went into dark places , turned over rocks and still found nothing resembling a cache.
Frustrated I made my way on towards what I hoped would be better success elsewhere- partly right and partly wrong. The soaking rain fitted my mood about right too. Positive thing was that a koala put on a show for me and did a demo of how fast he could run and climb. Not bad when they get going. I'll return wibbles. Irac.

It was great to finally hear water cascading through all the creeks and gullies after them being as dry as a chip every other time we have visited in recent times. The day was cool (and only a little bit wet [^] ) and made for a pleasant walk to the area of GZ.
Boy! Those rocks were slippery . I think that the marker often talked about in previous logs has long since faded. We searched for AGES until we found THE rock that concealed it and there was nothing that was discernible as a mark that we could find.
Took out a whistle and put in a screwdriver set. Thanks to The Wibbles for yet another quality cache in a great location. Cheers

It was a pleasant walk in today, and spotted the cache location (in a general sense) from the track. But after about an hour of searching all the nooks and crannies (and there's plenty of them), I checked with the Wibbles. They confirmed I was on the right track, and the area I should concentrate on, so I persisted with the search. I was about to give up when I finally spotted the marker, which turned out to be fainter than I'd expected. I can't believe the last lot who found it at night - I couldn't even see it in daylight! Anyway, its a great hide.

With respect to the night elves I waited until the sun had disappeared completely from the clear skies before embarking on this quest.
It was a beautiful night for a stroll down to the vale from the green peaks above.
GZ revealed a myriad of spots to explore, fortunately no cave trolls were spotted but I did manage to capture a small flightless bird & will move it to another cache soon.
Cheers, TFTC.

Looking for the clue is not as easy as you would expect. The choice is yours…. Which one do I have to enter. In the dark, the chills ran up my spine…..What was I doing here….A bronze glow as I opened the box……. Never spotted the fun elves…..

Uni rang and asked if I wanted to go for a night stroll. We walked right past one cache and straight up the dirty big hill. GZ had us bushed for a while. We looked everywhere including the 3 caves. Quite a big cavern one of them.
I read the cahe description and started to think like wibble. Soon spotted the special rock and the virgin cache was ours.

Couldn't get away when this first came up, and thought Freddo might be up for a walk in the dark.
The honours went to Freddo on this one, when he found the cache in a place I was supposed to have already looked at.
I'd never walked more than 20m past the Chambers Gully entrance to the conservation park before, and enjoyed the walk under the gibbous moon.
