Had only been searching for a couple of minutes when looked up and saw a muggle sitting on the steps. Didn't even hear her come so she must have been wondering what the hell we were up to. We sat down near the bottom of the steps and were prepared to outwait her but it was cold and windy and we ended up giving up and returning to the van. Thanks anyway though.
Had a good look around on a very windy and cold day. Did not find but good looking at the surfers braving the elements!
Had to search for quite a while before my daughter found it. Well hidden. Look down.
It was 12 degrees today, felt like 8 they said. We reckon it was colder than that here with the relentless wind but at least it kept everyone away so we could have a good search for the cache...couldn't find it though. Thanks anyway autumnleaf.
Spent a short time searching but had no luck. Will try again when back in the area. Thanks anyway.
Down at Port Elliot for the GZ event and was asked by Knightyme to do some caches so off we went and JJ52 too.
This one took a while, I had looked in the right spot but not thoroughly enough. Later Knightyme found the prize and came up with the goods. Wasn't too easy to retrieve though! He was a star.

Out for a caching afternoon with Ismartis and JJ52 on a nice sunny day.
We looked high and low ... low was the winner.
Lets just say that GZ will hide you from the homes, but not those on the beach ... if they care to look your way.

Was down at Pt Elliott with Ismartis for the nearby event and decided to do a bit of caching with Knightyme before we headed home.
This was another pretty part of the coast on our drive around Middleton. We thought we knew where the cache would be, but it took a bit of searching and it was only when Knightyme got down and dirty that it was finally located. [^] [^]
Thanks for the cache autumleaf.

Can't believe the time we spent searching for this one - all in the wrong spot .
After cleaning every spiderweb from under the top platform, we expanded our search area a couple of times, finding the cache in a more terrain appropriate spot .
Sometimes, the more you cache, the dumber you get [|)].
TNLNSL.

Owl finally had the spot to herself for a decent search and still failed to find the blighter! Perhaps her wings aren’t long enough.
Out grabbing a few caches with friends
Thanks for putting these caches out for us to find autumleaf

I was lucky enough to get a phone call to see if I wanted to head out for the day with a wonderful group of people to locus cache some smileys.....so what could I say to that offer but YES!! [^]
I picked up Honeysucker who gracefully allowed himself to be a passenger in Harry and deal with my driving and off we went to meet Mogni of the fantastic giggle, Aussie M&M of the kind heart, great hugs and tall stature and Brisal5 of the split pants.
By the time Honeysucker and I left the others to head home, I had 38 smileys and 4 DNFs but the laughter and fun the group shared all day far outweighed those few missed smileys!
How hard is it to Longboard? Probably not as hard as Mogni made retrieving this cache

Another great spot
Thanks

Mogni was back in town for the weekend so a GOTHS escapade to Victor was Planned. I was lucky enough to score a seat in the Gothmobile with both Aussie M & Ms and mogni. We were soon to be joined by Honeysucker and Locus Cache in Harry.
Whilst we search the wrong side Mogni made the find and deftly pushed it out of reach You did it..you get it. It was a test of her dexterity but she did get it. Thanks autumleaf.

A recent trip to Victor alerted us to just how many caches there are down there, so a trip was planned for mogni, brisal5 and the Aussies. It was a magnificent 16hrs of sunshine (until sunset), laughter and adventure and at the end of the day we had around 80 finds, 2 FTFs and a handful of DNFs. For most of the day we had Locus and Honeysucker in tow, who added more fun and laughter to a great day out.
We camped out on the stairs until mogni made the find and then promptly upped the difficulty level by knocking it further away. Eventually the cache was recovered and all was good. TFTC autumleaf.

I had a hairdressers appointment at Middleton and, as we were early, got to do a few caches in the area before hand.
Its a lovely area. Today the water is wild and woolly with strong southerly winds. Looks quite dramatic.
Left Peko-chan Traveller.

Well that was a bit tricky! Helped to have long arms!! Took 1c left blue sea jewel. Tftc.
Finally, found this one where I should have looked the first two times I came here.. Anyways, TFTC!
Took quite a while to find since the coordinates were about 2m off the location, the new location is 2m east and a bit down. TFTC
Today was the last of our short trip over from Vic, so bogonghazy and I were keen to clean up round Victor Harbor as much as possible before heading off for the journey home to Ballarat. This one had us searching for 15 mins and we still came up empty handed. Thanks for the hunt though autumleaf.
have searched for this one a few times with no luck. Saw the recent logged find so thought I would give it another go. Had a long frustrating look again with no luck. Rang a friend for confirmation of where I should be focussing my attention to. Found it easily then, how the heck did I not find it earlier!!!

Surprisingly easy night find for Shakey given the previous DNF's. Co-ords a bit off (2m east and lower down) but in a position where you would expect for the given situation.

hum...nothing at gz if gps is correct. There are a few obvious places where the cache could be but not today..
Was getting cold and windy and geo kids had had enough ... We'll be back ! Great photo spot : D
So many muggles, but all staying up the top leaving me to get on with things. Took Mini TB for a visit for the Barossa, replaced plastic bag. Thanks for the views!
Been here before so thought we would make quick drop off for another tb we had been carrying. Cache had moved a bit but still an easy find.
Grandson spotted this one on a windy wild day at Middleton,. Nice to get back to the warmth of the car, TFTC autumnleaf
In the area with snoopy_lou for easter long weekend. Muggles Everywhere!!! Quick find and retrieval but had a little wait to return cache, pretended to stand for a few photos ontop and on the bottom of the stair case while muggles admired the surfer's and the views
Sneekypeak and I had to time this one carefully. There were lots of muggles about surfing, playing on the sand and standing above admiring the views. We made the most of the location and admired the views and took some happy snaps whilst waiting for a muggle to disperse. Signed log and returned cache to location very carefully ensuring we were not seen.

Nice! Was exposed to potential muggle so hid it better. took crab, left bracelet.
Why didn't I see this cache when I was here several months ago? Okay that visit was towards the end of a long bike ride from Goolwa to Mt Compass and back to Goolwa and the weather was starting to turn dirty.
Today the cache was in hand quickly, at least I was having more fun that those attempting a surf - to quote one surfer I spoke to 'It's c.... out there, there's no power in the waves and choppy as heel.'
Thanks for the cache Autumnleaf.

One of my favorite spots to surf as a kid. Not a great day for it today, although still some trying!
Found it with my geo/fishing/camping/4WD'ing pal "How Do They Know?". An easy find though took longer than it should have. Enjoyed watching some kite surfers in the distance. Thanks autumleaf.
We were suprised when the cache was found. I went to it immediately due to spot on co-ords, but a quick feel got me pulling away quickly. Walked around to other likely spots but ended up back at the first place. TFTC autumleaf. TNLNSL
Found today after a short search around the boardwalk.
Lovely day and no surfing muggles to bother us.
Cheers and happy caching.

sooo sad cos this was the only DNF for the day! lots of surfie muggles so enjoyed watching them!!
Nice quick find on a lovely day.
I reckon the surfies trudging back to their cars must have had too much salt in their eyes for this not to be discovered. I put it back undewr more discreet cover.
Duly found and signed.

Got muggled! Too many muggles and one of them was sitting pretty much on top of where the GPS wanted me to go. Will come back when it isn't busy
A quick find after all the whale watchers had gone home. Nearly dark and the beach was empty. TNLN TFTC
This is the 962nd find for WazzaAndWenches
Day six and our last day in Victor Harbor. Towards home tomorrow.
Today we're having a drive around the Goolwa and Murray Mouth areas.
After waiting for muggle dad and son to move we made a quick discovery before the next group of muggles arrived to take in the view of the large waves.
Thanks Autumnleaf

Appropriately, found during a longboard competition. Golf ball has gone but tennis ball has appeared. TFTC.
An easy find, too bad the water is all muddy from the fresh water coming from the Murray Mouth..
Thanks for the cache.

The last cache for the day. Perfect, because it was a bit more challenging to find, and we were rewarded with a TB. Thanks!
Final find of the day, which was a most satisfying Saturday. Interesting spot with multitudes of locations to hide things. Trusted the GPS and was within a metre of GZ. TFTC autumnleaf
#484 7th of 8 in a run from Mt Barker to Victor Harbour. Took the opportunity to have an enjoyable stroll along the beach and admire all the colourful shells - beautiful day for it. Left TB 'Travel Bug Dog Tag' (Bike). Thanks autumleaf.
Found on a big day of caching. We finished off Victor Pt Elliot and Midlleton.
