It seems the floods have come through where this cache was. It really does need some maintenance, its a bit damp and muddy.
Found today awesome spot off the beaten trackSadly Floods have destroyed this cache log and contents needs maintenance
Loving driving through the bush.

Found whilst out and about claiming a mystery on our way to work. Took the lady gaga tb to send it on another journey. Tftc
I didn't even know this place existed. No drop bears to mention but plenty of wildlife in the cache box! Fun place for 4x4 ing. Tftc
Grabbing a few caches in our travels today with Happy Feet and omegaman1971 and we found ourselves out this neck of the woods. Not a big fan of drop bears we decided to stick together and whilst two of us would search one set of eyes would make sure nothing would attack us from above, fortunately we managed a quick find and we added our name to the log before danger set in, many thanks daunts for the hide and for bringing us here.

Away for the weekend with Happy pants and omegaman1971. We were heading to Shepparton to do some caching, in an area we hadn't been before.
Many laughs and fun were had over the time, along with a variety hides found in some different areas.
Another good find while in this area.
Thanks daunts for placing the cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy the find.

So very sorry for such a late log. Just going through the photos on my phone and noticed that there were two caches that I had missed logging. I was doing a streak at the time so only doing a couple a day. It was handy that we were staying in Shepparton as we didn't have to drive so far to make the find. Again, apologies and thanks for placing the cache and bringing us here. Very nice place for a walk although no drop bears, much to the grandies disappointment.

Grabbed this in the dark on way back home.
Left home of Wodonga to Kyneton to attend a show at Redesdale where my sister is a member of the Redesdale Revellers.
A great opportunity to spend time with my 3 siblings and grab some caches over the weekend. A total of 30 actually. No DNF's and all caches were either in good to fair condition with nothing to report otherwise. I had a wonderful time solo on unfamiliar backroads, history lessons, and places of interest. THANKS to all cache owners on their effort in cache placement and maintenance.

You need to worry about 'drop bears' when you do a night cache they really want to get you in the dark when they think that you cannot see them. SL TFTC
Staying with a mate in Shepp, this one last green box remains unfound on my map of Close-ish to Shepp for me anyway. More to the NE at Invergordon must be got
Drove to this one, in fact drove right to it almost [^]
A quick find and sign at 09:51 on Wed 9 Jan 2019.
No Drop Bears were sighted at the time of this find but i'm sure they're up there somewhere in the vast expanse of Gum trees here

I was feeling a bit adventurous tonight after a hot and tiring day in the factory. Headed out after work and made my way to GZ for an easy find - this would be the third drop-bear themed cache I have done.
As the sun started to set, and the birds screeched from the trees, the days cobwebs slowly dissipated. I made my way further into the park for a quick dip of the tootsies in the river before turning and heading back to the hotel.
It is a real pity to see the amount of torn up tracks here. Some deep ruts telling of the wintertime environmental vandalism that goes on here..

A quick find today as we were in the area . No drop bears to be seen we had to make do with a horse instead.
Thanks daunts for bringing us to this great location.

Ahh at last we got out this way to do this cache. It has been on our to do list for so long. After the rough track we made a quick find. No Drop Bears Today.

Beautiful afternoon for a walk in the bush. No drop bears sighted, too light I think. Nice hide, great container. TFTC.
Found it! A rare occurrence for team M&K, with both of us working in the same place at the same time! This meant we could actually do some caching together for once, so we headed out on a very sunny Sunday to see what was on offer South of the central part of Shepparton city itself.
What a difference a few days of sunshine can make, the area in here was crispy dry already even after the soaking last week. Thuz we crunched our way to GZ hoping the sound was not attracting those dreaded drop bears to our presence. Luckily we had drop bear repellant in our kit or we would have been dragged into the tree tops for lunch for sure. Another top little place we would have never had looked twice at if not for geocaching...TFTC...

Sometimes geocaching takes you to some beautiful places. The peas were in flower and not a drop bear in sight. TFTC
Lovely walk from the bridge, the dogs enjoyed the sun. Great cache in a nice spot. TFTC
After a pretty hard day yesterday putting Harry through his paces for 12 caches all up, today was a rest day [)] and so it was late in the day before the gorgeous sunshine coaxed me to give up on housework and go caching
Brodie, muggle partner and I headed out to look for a WP of a multi that I have been trying to do for years as it is close to Shepparton and therefore it teases me frequently, albeit not as much as its big brother does
Two caches were finally found before we returned to the caravan.
That's 2 less cache names that will etch themselves into my head every time I start to drive in certain parts of Shepparton [^]
We drove Harry and got to about 50m from GZ safely with only a few tiny puddles [^]
Enjoying the walk in, the cache was found and then I laughed as it had been found earlier today
Even funnier was that the finder was someone who I had just started speaking to after getting a joint FTF on their first published cache a few weeks ago
No drop bear could have wiped the grin from my face after that, even if it did unexpectedly fall down on me

I decided to park 600 meters away due to recent rainfall & tracks wet. Also when I was Geocaching the other day I backed into a tree. Anyways it was a beautiful walk. TFTC!
I decided I needed to grab some fresh air today while we were in town babysitting, and this cache looked like the perfect excuse. Fortunately I drive a Landcruiser so a bit of puddle jumping wasn't a problem, 2wd owners might have a short walk to gz at the moment though. Once at gz the cache itself was an easy find and I even picked up some unloved as a bonus. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Found at 1158. Found quickly but took some time digging it out of the hole it had fallen into. Going by the fishing line attached, the cache wasn't supposed to be down a hole half cover in dirty water. The cache was soaked and the log book was completely soaked, I barely managed to sign it. I placed the cache higher in the hollow. This cache really needs some attention from the CO. Other than that and the mozzies, it was a nice bush cache. TFTC.
Drove until we couldn't drive due to mud & recent rain then walked 400mt through beautiful bush (a little off the beaten track) Fantastic hide!!! Lots of swaps in this cache. The pencil needs a sharpener so we left a pen for future use & took the smiley badge. TFTC
Found this on Australia Day with Punja27, only just realized I didn't log it. TFTC.

Best one yet, congratulations, but it needs major repairs if you get the drift. Replaced nearby but not in such a great location, can't say more or may spoil it for others. TFTC terrific
Fun find. I took my dogs for a walk to guard me from the drop bears as it was getting late in the day. Just to be sure, I made sure they walked behind me (better them than me lol). Cache was easily retrieved but not so easily replaced as some maintenance is required which I will do myself in the following days when I return with the correct materials. Took rhino left spider SL TFTC
Nice little hide. Thanks for the little tour of the forest we walked through this yesterday. Tftc
#1258 We were comprehensively educated about the evolution of the drop bear during a recent night time guided fauna tour in far North Queensland (hilarious seeing the faces on the international tourists). Today we didn't spot any but we did spot the clever cache hide and enjoyed the retrieval. Another challenge was navigating our way to gz from Toolamba but we managed to work it out without too much issue. Took: pt and dog puppet Left: pt and Rhino eraser - TFTC daunts, nice one!
Very well done Thepope and I loved this one thank you for taking the time to put this here

Having spent the day doing maintenance on some local caches prior to our event tomorrow, we were sprung at one of the caches by baby&Mrs gopher. After a welcoming chat they indicated they were going to this cache and, since it had been on my to do list for some time, they were kind enough to invite me to join them. It was a great adventure but went slightly awry when there was a vital parting of the ways. Somebody had just purchased a brand new extension ladder which needed to prove its worth as a geocaching necessity - which it did! Thanks so much to you both for a fun evening.
3560 Found by baby&Mrs gopher at 1200 at 1615 on our trip to Shepparton for an event. Arranged with CyberGranV to be picked up and we all went to the forest Found the track in and to the sound of motorcycles made the find. As the contankerous Drop Bear misbehaving he broke his tether and nearly got the Mrs. Out with the new collapsible ladder and he was placed in his tree. SL Tnx daunts.
This one has been on the wish list for awhile. Very ingenious only thing I did not like we're the king size mozzies. Thanks for the laugh and cache. Daunts
Found the string, found the cache, signed the log, cleaned off Drop Bear poo from shoes and that was the easy bit...!! I then proceeded to return via 650mt of bush not realising there was a road only 50mt away.
Oh well, them's the breaks and caching. Today we found more Mozzies than Drop Bears. I guess that's because it was day time.
Thanks heaps daunts.

Nice cache. I took the complicated way of collecting it before realising the sensible way. Thank you
Look for the sting folks to get it out with. Very good but drop bears must have gone before we got there
I was very impressed with this one! Although I did take the hard option of retrieving it differently to the way I later realised it was intended to be retreived!
I was trying to get to another cache when I found myself close to this one. It wasn't until I got here that I realised that I had had a DNF on it quite some time ago, however this time it was a quick find.
Great little forest to explore after camping nearby next to the Goulburn river for the weekend. Was not sure if the cache is setup how it was supposed to be as it was an easy find and not as exciting as I was anticipating. May need checking on. Thanks for the walk in bear territory!
Had a great day caching with o.kay and thismwas our final delightful find TFTC daunts
With au.fait. Getting late in the day and wearing two knees of mud from the last cache. This was a delight and quite unexpected. TFTC.
Found by Ruddy Explorers 8/04/13 very clever hide kids had a great time caching.
That was awesome!!!!
Not hard to find, but beautiful execution. We had a good chuckle when we arrived : ).

The drop bears are alive and well in the daunts bend forest [:o]
Strolling around the forest this arvo I was keeping any eye out for koalas or their viscous cousins
At GZ I could see a hiding place for something [:o]
More of a bunyip hidey hole though, so I looked up for signs of drop bear activity.
It was still daylight, so I wasn't hopeful of a sighting.
Wait a minute [:o]
What's that.....
I poked around a bit and with some sleight of hand, the bear dropped
A very neat cache container thus presented itself and I put me name in the logbook.

Came in this weekend and reset the cache. Floodwaters in January and afterwards had caused some problems while the container was exposed. Should be OK now, all being well.
Needs new log and re-positioning. I will email daunts as well with more detail
Found 12:00. Sadly no Drop Bears (aka Koalas - yes yes I know a koala is NOT a bear) today. Found the cache but it needs maintenance. I dried all the moisture out of the cache and tried the dry the log in the sun while I enjoyed this magnicent and peaceful place. No success with the log and I did not sign it. I stayed and had lunch while I searched for koalas and all the birds and waited to see if the loge would dry out.
Other Cachers: Please NOTE that "Scout About" is on the other side of the river NOT on the same side of the reiver as my GPS indicated.

I think we took the scenic route. I'm glad you've said it requires additional maintainence cos it seemed just a bit strange TFTC SL
micheena - No drop bears, but a few cows enjoying the shadey spot by a waterhole. Wasn't sure if it was in the right spot, but reading the logs, I now know.
Got it just in time as a whopping black storm came as we had just got out of the forest. TFTC
Back here today with rain starting to fall. Renewed logbook, and cleaned out container, so ready for use again.
However, needs further work when the weather is a bit drier to fix it up the way it is supposed to be - a bit expoxsed at present, but will come back soon to re-set it.
Never mind - still quite findable and logable!!

Found by Mary & David at 1635. No bears of any description to be seen hereabouts today. Did manage to spot the well-camo'd cache though. Left 'Hickory Sticks Thumbdrive Beta' to appease any Drop Bears that may come calling. Had some difficulty returning the container to a bear-like spot, but it's ok where it is. Our thanks to daunts.
