WARNING: You do not need to climb over the fence! This should be in the description, as both my GPS and the geo couple's that came along after point over there. I looked around, reached in to the fence area as far as I could, had a look around the other side of the path, and was back to the fence staring when the geo couple arrived. They had already found it before and was checking on it for their niece. It wasn't in the spot they had found it but about 2m away from that, ~5-6m from GZ. So thank you very much to them for finding it for me.
After 4 attempts found today with Geo friends GulliverTravels54. Earlier this week Geo hubby came across a small brown snake and today we found it's skin - so getting bigger. So good shoes essential.
Very tricky find.

This entry was edited by T-Rex2NSW on Friday, 15 November 2013 at 06:29:13 UTC.
With a mission in hand to locate this cache, as T-Rex2NSW had previously tried to locate this elusive cache. With four of us trying our hardest to find the cache, Mrs GT 54 made a PAF call to geoson, as he had found the cache earlier in the year. With some instructions as to where to find the cache, all we found was some fresh snake skin. Geoson phones, to see if we had found the cache, and a few more hints, and the cache was located. TFTC.
We have tried to find this cache three times with no luck using two different devices. Each time we have spent more than 1/2 hour there searching and re reading the logs.
Any hints as this one has us new geocachers stumped. [?]

Found on our trip to the Gold Coast for a wedding. This was a large highlight for our stay in Coffs Harbour. Parked down the bottom and went on both sealed and dirt tracks to the top. Lovely views everywhere. Got to the sign, then the search started. After a long time of searching, we looked at the photos and found the cache soon after. Very good cache to do. TNLNSL. TFTC!
Found it! Was about to give up when we decided to follow the GPS a little closer & bingo we saw it!!! Two little kids were happy
My very first geocache adventure! But no luck finding anything. A friend & I both looked, but with a 3 yo, a 1 yo & a baby we were a little distracted. Will try again on the weekend!
Got a great lock with the GPS but could not find a cache. Views were good though and the walk didn't do us any harm. Thanks.
Found on caching weekend. Void of supposed TB's - very disappointing as I was showing some people what Geocaching was all about. I wish people would log them when they find them. It must be disappointing for the owner to see all the travel the TB has done to go in vain. Very annoyed.
Oh, and yes we did see a couple of whales frolicking in the water, but it was a bit hard to see them without binoculars.

Took a while... Was worried about snakes. Was starting to get discouraged when I read a log about finding it leaving the GZ. Definitely easier to see from that angle!

Yay! This one gave us a bit if a chase, we both looked at it but failed to recognize it at first.
A clue in the pics helped us.

Found Sunday 14 July. Bit of a climb up that hill.It was a great sunny day and was good to be out and about. Mugglers followed me up but they went on further. Spotted something in the scrub and if I had not been a Geocacher I would have taken it to be a piece off discarded rubbish. TFTC Gotcha16
A drizzly day in Coff's but geohubby was keen for a bike ride. A nice walk up the hill to find the cache. Left a penny. SL. TFTC.

I began this hunt by walking down the bottom walkway to a lookout but realised I needed to go higher. Talked to a local about life in Coffs before making my way to a higher altitude. arrived at GZ, just passed the sign, and began my search. Looking.... looking... looking... looking. No luck. I searched where I thought it should be.... still no luck!! I widened the search.... STILL no luck. Hmmmm, this was taking way longer than I expected it to. In the end I decided to give up and began to walk away. Stop! Just one more search in an area I hadn't considered and the cache was spied. Relief!! This cache is not where you would expect to find it. Thanks Wanderer 47 for placing it.

A DNF for me. Walked up the hill and had a bit of a search, but all was very wet and the coords seemed a bit out? Maybe another time?

found this cache today at 1500
took a while to find.
thank goodness the plentiful muggles were down at the base of the hill.
My GPS had me about 3-4 mtrs from GZ
Once found the log was signed and the cache replaced to its hiding spot.

Wow! I didn't find the track from the car park so I walked towards the spit. Got half way realised that I had to go up I went back and drove towards the spit. Found steps and a fence that lead me in the direction. When I got there it was a hard slog with slippery shoes. Arrived at GZ and no luck. But I was determined to find this one as did not want to climb here again. The view was worth it. But I've done it now. That's enough. Another smiley on the map. Took Geo Coin. TFTC.
Walking up towards this one,it was always going to be a good view, unfortunately the weather was a bit ordinary or it would have been spectacular.Dropped a pretty fancy looking geo coin in for someone to take travelling.TFTC.Wanderer 47
Catching up on logging after a long christmas break. Took a while to find and gz was about 6m from the landmark, TFTC The Wanderer 47. [1517]
Breeze & drizzle made a perfect weather for a coastal walk to this lovely headland. It took for awhile to spot the cache. But it didn't matter as there were no muggles around. I left a traveller and continued to the cliffs. No whales to be seen but a phantastic spot to sit and relax [^] Thanks for sharing.
It's there. I left a traveller. Proper find log will follow from proper internet connection...
Had to drive to this one as it was a bit far and it was already getting quite hot. Parked and then headed up the trail. Got to the right location but didn't manage a find today. GPS said 0m in one spot so I looked and looked. Then went for a walk a bit further along and it still said 0m.... so I looked again with the same result. Better luck next time. It is a lovely location so I wouldn't mind making another visit.
Awesome spot, view. Rainy day and lots of branches. Katie 2 years old found it.
Found this one together with Enhaneuzig
on our vacation in Australia.
I log it now to bring order to my hollidaycashes

Found with new cacher Mario after a nice bike ride down to the jetty foreshores! Easy find, TFTC!
Didn't see any whales this time but we did yesterday from Mutton Bird Island. Still great views though. We were intrigued by the concrete blocks and lo and behold we saw them on the news that night. Apparently the sea wall needs strengthening.
Thanks indeed

Took some time to find but got it eventually trackables may have been taken already
A nice day or with the family and friends. No trackables were found on this occasion.
I've lived in Coffs most of my life, been to the boat ramp, walked out on the south wall, been to Gallows but I've never actually bothered to walk up the hill. Boy, was I missing a beautiful veiw. No whales today that we could see but gorgeous clear day and fairly smooth seas. Thank you geocaching for showing me something I hadn't seen in "my backyard". TFTC, SL. swapped a tricket.
A quick find on an absolutely beautiful clear day. We did see whales whilst collecting the cache. What a view. TFTC
Great view. Love the whale show you put on for us. We took the travel bug d5v87c. TFTC
First day of back in Coffs Harbour this time to live on a permanent basis. Decided to take a look at this headland and a look for this cache. Found fairly easily. TFTC
Found it company of Rusty dutchman and iLocate, once you are up the top very easy find. TFTC
First visited with Lost in the Outback. Revisited this day with The Pheebster and iLocate. Awesome day. Easy find.
Easy find after reading the clue. I found this one too! Found in the company of The Pheebster and Rusty Dutchman.
I was very excited to find a geocoin on my very first find! I am looking foward to helping the geocoin travel even further by placing it in the next cache I find! TFTC
A beautiful sunny day, if it was whale season it would have made a spectacular sight.
After a short climb located GZ & quickly signed the log & left a geocoin.

Great walk and Great Spot, unfortunately not Whale Season but great view anyway. [8)] TFTC
There are too many good hiding places here... We spent about 15 minutes searching and then gave it up when we found a larger spider (my gf is scared of them) guarding a probable hiding place.
The eldest son of ronja58 made a 6-week-trip on the eastcoast. This one was easy found without a GPS. Thanks and greetings from Switzerland.
Found the cache and left sheep no 4 trackable. Left it today and notice it has been taken after we dropped it off. A great view and a nice walk. thanks the wanderer 47 for the cache.
Trackable was only left today and has been dated as being picked up yesterday.
Found with Sherlock &Watson. An easy walk over the hill.Great views. TFTC
Great walk and views of the coastline and ocean. Lucky the quarry stopped taking the rock when they did otherwise this headland would have been a flatland. Took compass, left notebook.
thanks 4 the cache im a coffs local been 2 these places countless times never knew this caching world was going on under my nose TNLN
It sure gets warm in Coffs. This cacher from the mountains nearly melted. Very interesting spot that I'm glad I came to. Cache was fairly easy to find when we to to GZ.
What a great location. Worth the walk, let alone the interesting geocache. Thanks to The Wanderer 47.
My GPS wanted to send us over the cliff. Luckily common sense prevailed. However no luck with cache. Beautiful view and good exercise .
5/5 for the day's caching trip around Coffs. Took a while to find and geodad and I were moments from giving up when we both spotted it simultaneously. TNLNSL. TFTC!
Love this spot i ride my mtb over this headland every time i come to coffs,no whales ,wrong time of year.
