Walk around the Mt Pleasant Summit HikeExplored the tunnel below, but quick find up at the tight level.TFTC
This is a great spot. Thank you for discovering it and bringing us here. On our way to this one we had an emu running away from us (geodog has never seen an emu so it was all very exciting)! We also found the mine hole which was fascinating. TFTC!
OCW PelDroedGwin and geodog Peppa Staying in Beautiful Eden Valley for a few days and exploring the nearby towns. After a morning of ALs in the car it was fine to stretch our legs on a walk. Great trail to this one and an interesting formation at GZ. Saw loads of fools gold along the way too. Tftc
Out for a days caching in the area, targeting a few specific caches to help complete our Day Hidden calendar and our Jasmer Calendar. Lots of great caches were found, some very creative while others had great views. This one helped put another smiley on our map.
Seeing we had targeted a nearby cache, what's another 300m walk for another cache. Its down hill coming back!! Such an interesting rock formation and interesting mine site just below. TFTC

Fantastic location for a cache. Great views and I even heard music as I found the cache. No I really can hear music from the cache coming somewhere down the valley. Thanks matmob for this lovely cache. Also found an old mine entrance below and close to the hole in the rock.
Another fantastic spot (I’ve also just come from “A Very Pleasant Cache”. This spot has everything, rocks, a tunnel, views and right down to the adorable black and white lambs next door. Put this one on your list folks.
Thanks so much matmob.

What a super cool location. To see this small cave is brilliant. Im not good with small spaces but it doesn't seem to go far. Super cool. Grwat spot. Tftc
One more example of an amazing spot we would never have found but for caching! And exploring the tunnel was great fun too! TFTC
Absolutely love the area. And what a fantastic rock feature to showcase! ... and what's with the tunnel, or is it a cave? A Favourite Point from us because this area is fantastic.
Back for another with Purrfect Di and Jack today.
What an amazing hole, and another, and wow... what's this down here??!!
Spent some time exploring. Might come back with bigger lights

Coming home from a camp at Mt Crawford gave us time for a couple of caches to make sure all the family is exhausted enough to sleep tonight. TFTC
Three animals set out for a day of caching. A Rat a Starfish and the Adder. The Starfish however did have an agenda, to seek out and find a few unloved caches as well as a few others that were nearby or en route. On this cold but dry winters day we had success with all but one.
A hole in the rock, wow, how are these locations formed. A great cache in an interesting natural structure. Easily found avoiding the hole in the ground. TFTC

Out with Brisal5 and Blackadders, for our Tuesday foray of caching.
We had fun and laughs and found some caches.
It really is a hole in the rock.
A quick find for us today. Tftc

Found while out hunting smilies in the Mount Pleasant area.
Great hole, from the log book, it seems to have attracted some passing muggles who found the cache.
Pity about the dead cow on the way up.
Thanks for the cache matmob

seeing as we came across the last one, thought it silly not to come get this one. glad we did! neat little spot. tftc.
Geo-son still needs more hours to qualify to obtain 'P' licence. I have to travel to collect caches. He drives me around to out of the way caches that I would like to clear out areas of my map. Win-win situation.
So today I thought I would head towards the Barossa and see what comes up on my GPS.
We had already been driving a while so time for a break and go for a walk. Having done the uphill part of this cache we continued on a steep downhill walk to grab a Zee cache. Then it was back up a steep section, a slight uphill walk, a very steep clamber to get back onto the track required before the last uphill clamber. Talk about making it difficult. Arriving at GZ I just had to check out the obvious hole first. Cool. [^]. Now for the cache which was a quick find. Great location for a cache and gets a fav point from me. Thanks matmob. Now for the other nearby on the way back to the car.

A nice quick find on our jaunt around Mount Pleasant Summit today. I wish I'd read the entire description as I was oblivious to the extra features nearby.
The logbook was stamped and we were off to find a pile of logs, so to speak.
Thanks matmob.

Ran past this on a trail run, then loaded the phone to see if any hides were nearby. Backtracked to this one, Couldn't believe I had not seen this one my first passing. The big hole smelt terribly bad, but the cache was thankfully found in a not too distant spot. Gracias.
Found at 2:20 PM. Interesting location with additional tunnel and sink hole!
All good.

Decided on a bike ride around the forest today and grabbed a few caches as we went. Nice rock formations around gz.We climbed through one then went into the other..
Thanks Matmob for bringing us here.

The view from up here certainly rates with the best for this area. We checked out both holes and climbed through the top one, well I did anyway. SL TFTC
Found It!
A nice little walk and I soon found the holey rock. Not long after I spotted the cache! Nice views from up here to!

Gotcha!
Found both holes in the rocks. One of those holes must have taken some elbow grease. Those rocks are HARD!
Did a double take when we found the log book empty. Surely we are not FTF??? A quick look at the previous logs and we see that this one was recently replaced. Now it makes sense. Still, first to sign the new log book is cool too.
Great location.
Thanks matmob.

On the way to bigger and better things as 4Z approaches the mighty 1000 find tally. Strangely, we ventured up the hill and admired the rock with the hole in it. Both of us wondered why the cache was located on the rock itself but short distance away instead. Shortly after we found the real hole in the rock.......hole in the hill. Must have been tempted to stick in there surely. TFTC matmob.
Replaced the cache entirely. We remembered we had placed this cache on the spur of the moment, and sacrificed our lunchbox for the cache container! It has done well to last this long. Now a Sistema container, hopefully will be more robust.
Well at 10am I set out for a bike ride to get some caches. I thought I'd be really quick but it turned into 24km, 2 hours and a ride up Mt Pleasant!
Thanks for the adventure Matmob

Incredible view. Fantastic rock formations. Just a little off the track. Very well worth the effort.
The cache lid is broken and it was full of water. I drain out and fitted new paper and zip lock bag, but container needs replacing.
What an awesome spot you found to hide this cache. It is a better view than a wide screen TV.
Cache easily found but was completely full with water and log is soaked.
I emptied the water and fitted new paper in zip lock bag.
Would have loved to check out the other attraction here too, but decided not too.
Happy Geocaching Easter.

Beautiful morning on the first weekend of spring. Good exercise for the legs but take the aeroguard with you the mozzies are huge and at 8 in the morning.
South Australia 2013 with Sol de Lune. We headed off on 12/4 and arrived home on 28/4. The trip was to visit the SA series so more time could be spent at the Mega itself next year. We did a huge variety of caching around Murray Bridge, the Mid North, Yorke Peninsula and Whyalla Region. Apart from one wet night and two wet days we were able to spend heaps of time caching.
Today was the day to move on to Gawler. Just a short drive but we took all day. A very enjoyable climb up here and a wonderful discovery near GZ.
Thanks.

What an interesting spot....Found with Albida on our 2 week SA caching spree.
Walked up the trail and soon found ourselves walking over the other side and up towards GZ.
Now is there or there???? Took the best option and soon had the cache in hand. Then it was into the other area to check it out....
Glad to see the ranger had left it as found.
Cool cache.......thanks. Fav point from me....
Grabbed with albida on our 2 week caching run from Canberra to, and around, different parts of South Australia including Loxton, Murray Bridge, Tailem Bend, Yorke Peninsula and around to Whyalla before heading home via Broken Hill, Cobar and Parkes. We completed a few power trails and left a couple to do when in the area again for next years Mega event.
Overall a great many different styles and types of caches found. A great time was had caching for 16 days straight as well as camping along the way.
Thanks for adding to the fun with this cache.

After seeing a 1.2 metre snake skin nearby I was a bit wary approaching this in the grass, but nothing spotted.
Interesting to see one of the rangers had found this cache while looking for the nearby mine a few days ago..

Found it, left Mr t badge put stamp on log but lost scribble stick and one in cache not working TFTC
I had just completed the nearby cache, and I normally head back to the car to plug in the next cache into TomTom. Fortunately, this time I plugged it into my GPS and realized this was just a bit further along the track.
Found the cache without difficulty, then investigated the hole in the rock, and the other much longer hole. Thanks for the cache, and the extension to my walk.

we looked around the wrong place for a little while, but after a change of place got it fairly quickly. always look back behind you when you change places! thanks for the cache!
After 'Wanderer SIX,' we decided we may as well keep walking, as it was only a few hundred metres longer than driving around to find this one .
What a fantastic feature ! Very hard to get a photo with all the saplings around it.
Easily found the cache. TN. Left Holmer Simpson. SL.
We added a new book, as all the pages in the old one were full, then put it in a bigger bag [^].
Spent some time exploring the tunnel underneath afterward.
Thanks for showing us this place Matmob.

What an interesting rock formation. Thanks for bringing us here matmob. By the way, if you're walking into this area watch out for the marauding mosquitoes - they're huge & hungry.
Found with some help by samsland, it was night and I was in a rush... a real bad rush, so got on the phone with samsland, he guided me I logged the find, then I had to make a mad dash and deal with some do or die personal waste management! Awesome cache, will return to venture down and visit Alice and the mad hatter, but will do a bathroom stop before leaving, TFTC
one of the most fun geocaches i have had yet, its a really big whole in the ground lol
A great spot. We enjoyed the walk in here on a beautiful sunny morning even with all the trees gone. This was another one of those spots we would have gone past without realising it was there, if not for geocaching
I was sure I had typed up a log before! I am not sure what happened to it.
Thanks matmob for an enjoyable cache.

This is one of a few caches we did in this locality. A nice day for what proved to be a long walk. Thanks matmob
Out caching on a lovely autumn day and arrived at GZ not too sure which hole in the rock we meant to search. Picked the right one and cache soon in hand. TFTC
Nice day today, so we went out on our mountain bikes exploring single track....also took the GPS to check out a few of these caches in the area.
Have ridden past hear heaps of times over the years.
Nice spot....thanks for the cache!

Met Jusswaggerin on the way to this cache. GeoMark got into a nice pose by lying down in the hole, only for GeoMary to discover that batteries had been pilfered from the camera to power the GPSr. Took a TB and left a TB. TFTCSL.
Had a hard time keeping brothers from wanting to explore the "other" hole. Nice walk. TNLN TFTC
A great short walk to take in the views. Took Angel pen, Left Smiley Supaball. TFTC
Came with 9 others, including a couple of new geocachers. As matmob did when placing this one, we had found the nearby SA ParrotHead's cache and this was a very easy stroll along a shaded path. Nice views at GZ. TFTC matmob.Took a ghostly figure and left a Fijian (I think) and a TB called AnBO from Germany.
Came here on a geocaching day with our 4WD club to introduce the interested to the "sport". This was just a short walk from another cache nearby. Tnlnsl. Thanks matmob.
Quite an interesting formation, and definitely a good one to house a cache. Found it quickly thanks to the sparse covering. TFTC matmob.
A very pleasnt walk after doing "A very pleasant cache" A nice view with the pines gone. An easy find killing 2 caches with the one walk. TFTC
Our favourite cache for the day. This is the type of cache we really love. Not only did we have a pleasant stroll through the trees (well, the trees that were left standing anyway) and pick up some bonus caches nearby, but it took us to a fascinating GZ that we would probably never have stumbled across. The little torches we have in our cache bags came in handy.
Going on to our favourites list.

Just love this spot. We looked and looked and almost gave up. Wet and very dirty we finally found it. It was worth it. I forgot to take a torch even though it was suggested by previous cacher. I will add it to my bag for the future. Thank you for the cache.
Great Rock! - Great Hole in Rock! TNLNSL. TFTC matmob. (Were you in Grampians recently?)
Going to Adelaide a round about way. Was passing by thought we may as well grab this cache. I walked straight past the hole. Wish i had a torch with. My daughter Michelle said Dad look. I was quiet surprised. TFTC. TNLN. SL.
