Logs
We had the right spot. But nothing was there. Child disappered several times. It has been some time since anyone found. I think it may be gone. Was still a nice walk anyway.
By picture comparison (and scenic route round) we found the right log. Wooltruk & son came in handy but to no avail, I got in there and looked & looked but no luck either. Think this one may be gone. Great spot though!
Was out in Mt Mee today with Nyssaflutterby and Net88. We enjoyed the rainy and wet walk through this little piece of piccabeen rainforest, however we looked and looked but had little hope of finding anything that a cache would be in. We tried a few different logs to no avail. It was however a nice little walk anyway.
Out with Nyssa Flutterby and Brightskies. We couldn't find this at all and the tree that we kept going back to has fallen over so we weren't very hopeful. It hasn't been found in a year but hopefully someone will find it soon. Maybe a check by the CO is in order?
Wasn't about to get all dirty as the ground was pretty wet. Saw the location easily enough
We looked and looked and looked. Got dirty, got on my guts and found nothing. Had 4 sets of eyes looking however GPS was all over the place due to the canopy. We think cache was left of pathe going down hill but how far off not sure. Had a good look in a very large log but came up with nothing. This one beat us.
Quick find. Leech got me! TNLN TFTC Thanks d.d.dudes Happy Mothers Day to all!
Task 1: locate cache. Completed after a long search and some bad cache blindness!! It is quite dark under all the trees especially with sunglasses on and the tree cover makes reception a bit bouncy.
Task 2: retrieve cache. Thankfully we didn't have to do the squeeze as a nearby stick turned out to be perfect for the job. We picked up some leeches nearby today so I am glad we didn't have to risk getting them in more places than just our legs!
Thanks d.d.dudes

Found this with Geoboy. I only saw the description on my Gps, not online and now that I have seen the pic...there was NO Way I was gonna do that.I told Geoboy that although he was taller than me- he was slimmer...Ha ha ha, in the end we did what others had done and got a long stick!
Cache was wet inside, log was soaked through and hard to sign.I squeezed out as much as I could. Left it wrapped in a paper towel and a new baggy.
Trackable was nice and dry in it's bag.
TNLN, thanks!

Found this one after a short while (and after ignoring the gizzmo and reading description properly) Retrieving it was a different matter. We had a nearly 2 year old with us who was the perfect size (and he was keen), but i ended up using a stick in case of any critters. TNLN Thanks d.d dudes
Fangsoki and I were doing some caching in the Mount Mee area with the help of the Fangsoki 4WD geo-mobile.
No squeezing was required today..... a nearby stick did the trick of retrieving the cache.
TFTC d.d.dudes & Curtdog.
While signing the log one of those pesky cache dwelling lizards slithered on in.
I also left a fancy "I Love Caching" coin.

Radnoski and I were in the area and we decided to tackle this one. After finding the furtherest parking possible (hmm!), we made our way to GZ. The rainforest was quiet today thankfully. We neared GZ. Radnoski found GZ and we managed to get the cache without too much fuss - thankfully. I am not the slightest of lads The cache was in good condition. TFTC d. d.dudes
Found at the end of a days 4 wheel driving, great spot we will definitely be back one day with a picnic lunch. We sent the little fella in for this one TN left spin top. TFTC!
Have been in the area many times, but to be honest, had never been through this trail. Was a pleasant walk, TFTC.
Elly did the necessary squeeze. Quite damp, needs a silica gel packet. Thanks.
Nah, made a bit mess of not finding this one. Spent a lot of time around GZ, in between figuring out that I had my GPSr set on the wrong units (Aus Geode '84 instead of WGS 84) and a trip back to the day use area for something we should have done before we headed into the forest ... but we never did find the right tree. Even had my geoson along to stuff him into the tree to retrieve the cache. (What a disappointment!) We'll be back! TFTC dd.dudes and Curtdog.
Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga 2 at 12:33pm. This cache took quite a few minutes to track down as we didn't have the pix to help us. We thought it was about 8m from where GZ should be. The log is a bit damp and needs thoroughly drying out. TFTC
Took quite a bit of peering between the photo and real location to work this one out, but was a great find!! Thanx!
did the walk twice one in each direction, was a bit late so must have missed it. Geoson also wanted to find this one but no dice!!. again we will be back to others in area and do some more walking.
with a handful of TB to swap and a keen eye for a tree as in the picture i marched in to the forest with two tired screaming kids by my side but i was not going to leave this man behind i decided that i believed i knew the shorter way to it and was wrong but found the GZ even though the Sky birds were lost TFTC No Trackable in cache so maybe someone else has taken them previously

Found at 1230. Parked in the car park designated for the walk that this GZ is on. A nice pleasant short walk. GPSr was a bit erratic but I found the correct tree! from the information I gained from the Photo. I was actually able to sit up and retrieve this as I had my trekking sticks with me and extended them both out and used them like a pair of Tongs. The container had water in it and the Plastic bag the log was in had moisture in it as well and the log was damp but useable. I dried everything out and let it all air and dry in the sum for awhile and then replaced it virtually in the same spot that I retrieved it from. TNLNSL TFTC
1530hrs. Our last for the day. It is a shame so many tracks have been closed out here. Gates everywhere. We make it across from Dayboro but so many caches you can only walk to now. My daughter found this one while I we had the grand children searching for dragons. Nice walk. TFTCSL
We toodled up to Mt Mee this arvo to do a spot of location scouting. At the nearby Gantry Picnic Ground we were treated to many Goannas wandering about, and then I happened to notice there was a cache close by, so off we went.
A pleasant walk to GZ (GPS signal definitely spotty here) where we found and managed to retrieve the cache (helps to have small children - I knew they'd be useful for something).
Eldest child even managed to find a leech (2 for 2 for trips to this area)
Took nothing, Left nothing. TftC
Oh, log was a little damp, but much to my annoyance, I'd left the silica gel satchets at home - next person to find might want to drop a couple in the bag with the book.

As Stigglepot was the smallest of the group (being the only girl) she drew the short straw and had to lie flat on her stomach and retreive the cache using a big long stick Cache is very very damp and dewy and needs to be dried out by someone who has a little more time than we did. The contents are starting to go mouldy - ug! This was a lovely walk enjoyed by our two pommie tag alongs (tommy the tit and the bear). .. TFTC ...eatmorchikin & Stigglepot
After travelling 'A' Break we returned to the Gantry day use area where we enjoyed lunch and the children were entertained by a friendly goanna. Then it was an enjoyable walk through the forest to the "Squeeze" where at first we missed the cache but the kids found it without help. Swapped toys. TFTC
Ha, accidental find. cherieboberry and I were walking around the trail. We have a habbit of looking in places now. Cherie just happened apon it We hid it a little better. cherieboberry1 took the TB to further his journey.
Thanks for the suprise find!

Found this one by accident wasn't even caching, just enjoying a walk on our vacation to Queensland......luck find!
Took the bulldog travel bug back to Victoria with us, will get him moving soon.
Thanx!

we took a long long drive to get back for this one and then with fading day and very average gps signal we had to abrt without the prize. Next time.
Make sure you take a flash light cause it gets real dark real quick because of the trees, TFTC
The piccabeens are everywhere along the trail.
Their mysterious ability to absorb cachers and satellite signals is uncanny [:o]
For a while ruzzelz and I searched far and wide, but eventually a squeezy place was spotted
I didn't have a geokid to throw at the cache, so I sent ruzzelz in instead
TFTC and stroll through the fronds. I dropped in Barney Bulldog TB

Out for a day of caching with IF this was the first sucess for the morning. We seemed to be searching a rather wide GZ as our GPS's had us as much as 50m apart before IF came up with the goods.
Next time I should take a good look a the clue and the terrain rating before venturing too far from the drop zone It is alway much easier once you know where the cache is
In: One of Konie's Geocoin's returing from a long trip.

right ... neither myself or MapMonkey are exactley small in stature ... and after a few unsuccessful attempts to bribe his kids to go in and retrieve it ... I eventually got down and managed to pry the thing out, picking up a blood sucker whilst I was down there
SL under the light of the prescribed torch, as it was getting pretty dark by now, didn't see the coin ... but didn't spend time looking for it either

dandent and i were contemplating sending the kids in to retrieve the cache, and with the light dimming all around us, we were finally successful at signing the log.
Thanks for the chance to check out this track.

Another cache on our Mt.Mee assault bites the dust.Good hide. I sent Mr.Seeker in to get it, no way was I going into the dark. Took the flag and left a butterfly,TFTC.Silky Seekers.
Out on a nice bright and sunny day with the Wingman and Steve and Family. Nice to be rewarded with a cache or four on this drive.. TFTC
Out on a geocaching jaunt with Rastas, Nasty Steve and family. Now the plan was for the smallest member of the teams assembled to venture forth into the unknown. However it didnt quite work out that way. I just hope the photos showed my best side
All in all great fun. Thanks for the cache and the introduction to the area.
Cache dry and in good condition.
We stopped at the Gantry area for a bite of lunch after a great drive through the bush.
After lunch, we made the short stroll to GZ, where Wingy was elected chief cache retriever. And a fine job he did too!
We do have some photos, but we will keep them for future blackmail opportunities.....
No swap. We dropped off a bunch of GeoCoins that Wingy immediately picked up. Thanks for the cache.

I was wandering around in circles thinking that I really should have brought some cache notes or at least read them before leaving for the day. Luckily I had the trusty ManGecko along and he came up with the goods. Great walk. TFTH
I am a bit late logging this but better late than never. It is a beautiful area. even though the co-ords did not lead us to it the photo helped. I tried to get there first but as it is close to other caches but these days you have to be quick.
Thanks for a good cache

Quoll, Adam, Samuel & Jono found it at 14:09 need to watch for the spoilers.
Fun find, watch the GPS coordinates, not good reception.
Took Travel Bug pbtba, will give him a trip a little further.

A) enjoy a challenge - Life IS one
B) are of small stature - Depends on your point of view
C) watch Macgyver - Nooooo, but I know a couple of twins who do..
NEED'S
A) a torch - Never leave home without one
B) small stature - Sez who ???
C) not claustaphobic - Depends on your stature
As Trifle said, the Sats kind of gave up on us in here, but after bumbling around for a while we found a likely looking lair.
Thought of sending geo-hound in, being the smallest stature of the team, but then thought again about his reluctance to bring back even a stick. So as the next in size, I firmly attached the head torch to my - well, my head, actually - and ventured in to the lair.
After much squishing and squirming at last the prize was in reach.
Left Fox 40 Safety Whistle to aid any future cachers finding themselves in strife here, took red sports car for a swift flight from the dragon.

Found the lair at the end of a pleasant drive through some Mt Mee Forest trails. GPS wasn't too helpful and after wondering aimlessly around the Piccabeen Trail we took a chance, just as we were about to call it quits. Congratulations Pirate on yet another FTP - it must be costing you a fortune in fuel now! TFTC
