Clare and Gilbert Valley caravan trip. Day 2 - Farrell Flat to Polish Hill and return.TFTC
Missed this one at the JLWE when it was here last time in clare. Quick find today. Dropped tackable.Found with Mogni. This was a very, very last minute trip.I found out that i had to be in the " clare region " the next day by lunch the next day on muggle business. After that business was over i headed up to jamestown to get a 2001 cache via any adventure labs or caches i haven't found before staying in a B& B in Penworthm. Now it was time to start heading home via dirt roads to Burra for the new Adventure lab and then down every dirt road/track with caches on it and the odd track that needed the hubs locked on the ute. If the cache was broken/eaten/smashed it was replaced with a new container and if the log sheet was wet it was replaced and if the log was full or almost full extra log sheets were added to the cache.
So we had to take Bella home and if you are going to drive 3 hours north you might as well turn it into a caching adventure. We were in the 4WD so I got to choose some interesting tracks for Wayne to play on. Any caches that needed some attention got it.Thanks to granny lyn from mogni .
A funny quick find watched by suspicious muggles as to why I would do a u turn in the middle of nowhere. Well,it was somewhere for me and I found the something I was looking for. TYFTC SL TN LN

I love a cache name that can’t be pronounced. I lot it even more when I am trying to write logs after a skinful of wine because it becomes even funnier.
We had just called into the Hills River winery to buy some mushroom pate. That’s sounds all kinds of awful but my wife saw it yesterday on a wine tour so we had to come back. We were making our way to Pikes brewery and picking up some hides on the way.
The rental car was loving the dirt roads, or so I think. tftc

Away for a couple of days with TheWhiteDogGang.
We stayed at the free camping in Blyth and cached around Blyth, Brinkworth, Yacka, Spalding, Clare, Stanley Flat and surrounds.
Most caches found were in good order.
A quick find.

Not a good time of year to be stopping for a cuppa. Scenery is beautiful but the smell from the mounds of cow manure in the neighbouring paddock made this a quick in and out. Great spot nonetheless. Tftc
Another cache find on our 2022 South Australian Adventure. Another bitterly cold, wet day today and the sky is still touching the ground, a perfect day to Geocache.
We are enjoying our time travelling SA, fantastic towns, ruins, beaches and cliffs. Our thanks to all the COs for taking us on this geo-guided tour.

What a well stocked cache! Could spot the hide from the car. Thank you, granny lyn; cache #4080.
Staying in Clare for the JLW caching event, picking up as many caches around the surrounding areas as we can. This cache is one that was found today.
Nice easy find tonight under torchlight, cache in good condition for its age.
Find #4168 on 11 Jun 2022.

Heading into Clare hunting caches and this one was next. I have no idea how to pronounce the name of this one but at least I found it quickly! Thanks to granny lyn for this one
We are in Clare camping for the weekend. Not too sure we picked the best weekend for it as we had a shocker of an arvo of weather so it was a low tally day for us. But we thoroughly enjoyed it! We had a late start due to drinking far too much wine last night, but after the crappiest of weeks at work it was needed. So we only found 15 caches for the day but it was was definitely a quality over quantity day. We found some really memorable caches and had a super walk at Spring Gully. We also managed to fit in a trip to Pikes brewery which we loved and ended up with a box of long necks to bring home. We finished off the day with a superb curry at Indii which is in our opinion the best curry house in SA, love it yummy yummy food.
After a lovely trip to Pike Brewery we headed out to find a few more caches before returning to the camp site. This was our first 'afternoon' find, thankfully the weather had cheered up a little bit. Geohusband enjoyed surveying the farming activity around here, I think he misses the farmer life. TFTC granny lyn we made a quick find and sign here.

Once again it was time for some members of the Puzzled Puzzlers to head out for a Tuesday Trek. Today it was myself, S.A. Sewer Rats and sushilord and once again the plan was to head northwards towards Clare. [^] But as usual it would be a convoluted route that would enable us to grab a few caches along the way.
Sushilord spotted the cache as he got out the car. Don't get much quicker than that.
**Thanks granny lyn for this cache. **

Another Wednesday wandering with a rat and a starfish. Clare was the target for the day.
Getting closer to Clare. An interesting name for a road and a nice history write up in the cache description (earns a fav point). No bride dressed in white would want to be seen here today with all the dust being blown around.
Thanks for bringing us here today granny lyn.

Love the avenue of gums along this tricky to pronounce road. Cache located and signed. Thanks for bringing us here
Came across this cache by accident. Not much chance of me finding it as I live in Ystalyfera, South Wales (UK)!
Thought I would upload a photo of the "original" Ystalyfera for other cacher's to view.

Found on a day out exploring this beautiful region. With our Geodog in tow we had a day of exploring and wine tasting - not a bad life really! Thank you for bringing us to this area, was a little smelly the day we were here lol
Passed the grader heading the other way near GZ. Gee those things certainly crab along the road! Fortunately he hadn't started on the cache side of the road yet and we were able to easily pull up. Jumped out of the van to the sweet smell of a row of fertiliser - NOT! Thanks, grateful for a quick grab here.
Today we travelled from Auburn to find some of the caches in the Clare region. We travelled past many vineyards the grapevines all waiting for spring to start their new growth.
We went to many locations with spectacular views over the are. A very large variety of caches found.
Thanks for placing this cache granny lyn

Quick find with HundredRoby. Can see why so many wedding photos have been taken around here. Camped overnight on a nearby road which was lovely. Found the cache at sunset, which provided an even lovelier scenery. TFTC
Found with Roby19 nearby our camping spot for the night, and saw a beautiful sunset
What a beautiful road with all the trees. Yes GPS was going queer but we stopped a few times and jumped out to a clearing and found no worries. TFTC

Out for the day caching with Huurtle.
This had to be one of the funniest days caching that I have experienced for a long time
Never go out with Huurtle when he doesn't have a functioning GPSr Chaos reigns and only 6 finds in about 4 hours
However we reached the pub for a lovely lunch and great conversation and luckily, after lunch, and with a loaned GPSr, the day settled and I ended up with a total of 29 successfull locus cache events and only 3 DNFs.
Love dirt roads and country caches
It always helps to have a previous finder with you when caching although considering he just sat in the car due to the smell...maybe it didn't!
Laighside Legends and I found it easily though and then continued to enjoy the drive along the pretty tree lined road!
