I was told about this cache by the last finder (NTSTROM) and thought I would give it a go as I have been to Singapore numerous times and it held some interest for me. I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and best of all it kept me occupied and very interested (read, obsessed) until I found the solution. Received the email from the owner that my solution was correct on the day that I emailed the owner. Unfortunately, due to my Outlook rules, I missed it for about 8 days until I found it tonight, hence the time lag in logging the find. A big thank you must go to Setjam for a challenging cache that showed me some new and interesting facts.

I stumbled across this cache while researching my up and coming return to Singapore. Fantastic idea for a cache and its a shame the physical cache is no longer there. Had a lot of fun (and learn't a thing or two along the way) while solving the coordinates. Confirmation email recieved from the owner that my solution is correct. Thanks sejtam for the fun cache.

Supplied the correct answer several weeks ago before my Singapore trip. The cache is a clever one. Interesting processes are required to get a meaningful solution. Hooray.

This cache is being re-enabled as a virtual cache as the location has turned into a construction zone. Do not attempt to visit but send your solution to the owner to obtain logging permissions

Wow this is an interesting puzzle.. one I couldn't resist especially when it has been made virtual! (Yeah bitten by the lazy bug haha) xD Brilliant use of antipodes - I've read about them before but incorporating them into the puzzle is genius!

It's a pity I couldn't visit the cache physically though. I wonder what's going to be built on that location - will have to go after construction's complete. =)

Took: time, left: happy.. TFTVC!

Tried restoring the cache to its location today, but found that construction has indeed commenced there, trees have been cut down, workers are on site and it looks like it won't be over soon.

I will re-enable this cache but as a virtual. To log, please contact me (sejtam) with your solution, and I will reply with a permission to log. Log entries w/o permission will be deleted henceforth.

Sorry for the inconvenience

Went for a quick check, Couldn't find the cache. Vegetation everywhere, the jungle has taken over, and the some of the trees seem to have collapsed (whether by weather, old age or external influence is not clear at this point). I will need to go back when I have more time and do a proper search, but for now this looks like it may be gone

Congrats, Herr des Waldes.
Virtual Log approved, as I know you won't be able to be physically on (or under) the ground here.

Yaay! Found this with Buntoro! 4TF! Buntoro and I did the sums together one night although it is a 3 point difficulty.

We were a little unsure about the terrain part when we started out initially. See the picture to understand what I mean. Wink

We were bitten by ants and mozzies and totally muddified (raining for the past many days) but totally satisfied to make it out alive!

TFTC, sejtam. What a cache!

OUT: Old Thomas TB and that nice Dubrovnik thingy.
IN: Angry STORM collectible! Boy is she mad!

Had some difficulty with the definitions in the calculations even with some hint from a fellow cacher Wink. But worked it backwards on a hunch and it turned out to be correct!
After confirming with the owner about the terrain suitability for kids we decided to go for it when the sun is up. Well, today it was sunny after the rain but nevertheless it was muddy. We enjoyed trekking to the GZ and after a short search we found it. Plenty of mozzies and ants so come prepared. We also saw some colourful birds around. TFTC which is in an interesting locale and also for the puzzle, Sejtam. Now we know what is an antipode and what is on the other side of the world!

We'd been in holding pattern [|)] for some time, waiting for the right geocache to mark a milestone. Well, it looks like the planets, stars, moon and sun are in alignment today. We had a half-day off (to do our hair, actually), the rain had stopped (tho the sky looked threatening) and an interesting cache to puzzle over and sniff out (yes, the mosquito-repellent bit was the clincher!)

Suitably armoured in windbreakers (hey, if it can break wind Wink, it can break mozzie noses!), waterproof shoes and our trusty pink umbrella, we set out.

Never been to this end of the area. Looks like a place Wherever and other fishy folk would visit.

A decent trail to GZ, tho it was puddly in parts. No one to see us running in and out of undergrowth. Nor did we fall in that hole that goes all the way to the other side of the world. Cool

The cache may be somewhat exposed, but our old-lady eyes betrayed us somewhat and we worked up quite a sweat (those darn windbreakers!)[B)] But we finally spotted the treasure chest.Big Grin

OUT: FTF dogpatch
IN: Embroidered bookmark from Dubrovnik

TFTC and little adventure, Setjam! Time to get some sassy new coiffs and celebrate our 400th find!

Congrats IJs, on your #400 and FTF!! We solved the puzzle and couldn't wait another day to make that journey thru the centre of the earth. It was very interesting to learn to view the world in a different way. We enjoyed reading about the confluence project too. For those who didn't know about the secret tunnel deep under the Atlantic Ocean, check out http://www.tiscali.co.uk/telectroscope/home.php . We used the spoiler pics to guide us on the jungle path and a torchlight to zoom in on the cache. Thanks Sejtam, for the educational trip on Internet and the field trip closer to home!

Congratulations to IJs on their FTF and 400ths find. I hope the (re-)search was some fun (that also goes for other finders and attempters too).

I am looking forward to seeing that FTF patch make its rounds. Come to think of it, I should have given its own small logbook to record its FTFinders in...

PS: Pls let me know if you thing that the terrain rating needs bumping up.

oops, found another mistake. I really shouldn't devise puzzle caches as a stress relieve
