Logs
Found after some serious bush bashing! There must be a closer entrance to this area of bush! Left a new log as the old one is soaked. Also left a travel bug I originally found in Western Australia a few years ago - forgot I had it! Hope it can continue with its travels. Now to find my way back to my car
Great spot. Love nikau have three in my backyardUnfortunately the log is too wet and soggy to sign.
This was the second fence I had to climb over today. I'm getting better at it. I suggest just listening to the birds in the trees as you find the cache. Also found some mushrooms nearby the tree the cache was at.
I have found bush bashing caches that were horrible, but this one actually is real nice. Good hint as well. I spotted the cache from afar.
It is the time of the year, where the ground is quite muddy and wet, but what can you do when you are on a mission to help find Signal the frog a way out of the swamp?
The log is very wet, its a pity for such a nice little book... I managed to sign anyway. I tried to shelter the container a little bit fom the rain by giving it a little cover.

Spiderman Spiderman, nice easy find for Mr 12, we had found this cache years ago but had let our account lapse, marked up again with a smiley

Found for a second time (1/1/10), but this time with my wife, Reny90. Good to come back and relive memories
GPS had a hard time tracking this one. After much round and round finally found it. Found with toby84
Went to find this one after it had been raining. Shoes got very wet. Log was kinda damp. TFTC!
Make sure you're wearing proper walking shoes.... jandles are not good footwear for this walk.... neat little hiding place and new area discovered so TFTC
The weather was god today for some time so I decided to go and find some Geocaches in Mission Heights.
Easy on, nice place!
Thanks for hiding this one!

In the area collecting a puzzle cache so decided we would pick up a few regulars along the way as you do. Scotty did not have the appropriate footwear so Kiwi ventured on in alone. Nice piece of native bush. Surprised to see we are not the only ones caching in this area today. Log a little damp but otherwise ok. TFTC
A work-day lunch-time visit here. Brilliant large patch of bush remaining in this newly developed area. Jumped the gate and wandered down to GZ, and the hint helped to make a nice find. All dry and signed, thanks for bringing me to this enjoyable quiet place. TFTC
I have been by this one before in the past but never ventured in to find it. Tonight while to light was fading I managed to make a quick find which was great as the mosquitoes were around in force. Cache is in good condition. TFTC.
I was in the area with Merlot58 and Jag50. After driving around the block to find the most practical way into the reserve, we finally located a gate that we quickly clambered over. A short walk to GZ, and a nice quick find by Merlot.
We were in the area with Merlot58 and Aiden29. After finding an easy entrance into the bush, the cache was quickly found exactly where the hint says. TFTC
Out and about with Aiden29 and Jag50. The recent downpour had stopped so we decided to do just one more cache so after clambering over the gate and a short walk, I spied the cache right where the hint said it would be. Nice to find an older cache in the area.
I had a soccer match this afternoon at nearby Barry Curtis Park, and so I thought I would leave home a little early and come and find a cache in this area before the game. So after parking on the road, and after looking at the map, I thought for some reason that this cache was probably going to be hard to find. However, after entering the bush area, I simply asked myself, 'If I was hiding the cache, where would I hide it?' And blow me down, when I looked at that spot, there it was. So it didn't take too long at all. The bush reserve itself isn't too dense, and so this one would be great to do if you have kids. So thank you KiwiLeon for taking the time to set up this cache. I really appreciate your efforts.
Got to GZ and looked round. Spotted an obvious place to look and there it was safe and sound. TFTC
Loved wandering round this bushy area ! Glad there are no tracks !!!!

Second time trying for this one ,,,this time co ords spot on with my phone , and I found it no probs !

We had to circle the area a bit to work out the best access point. It's a shame there haven't been any walkways built through here as it's such a lovely area, so peaceful and serene.
The cache was quickly located and the log signed then we spent a while enjoying the birdsong before moving on. Thanks for bringing us to this magical place.

Certainly no Muggle worries here even though it is so close to nearby properties. Cache contents are slightly damp but not actually wet. Thanks KiwiLeon for the opportunity to make a visit to a spot we have not been to before..
TFTC. Nice hide. There are some magnificant Nikau's in here.

As I parked up I saw Biartch79 again about to wander of in the grass so I yelled out: Oy, what are you doing! That gave her a big fright. Hah hah hah. So we did this cache together which was easily found. Cache quite exposed so I covered it up with foliage.
Quick find thankfully as just after a lot of rain this morning this was mosquito city. TFTC
First one to find this this year! Well hidden away from muggles. Was fun looking for this. Since this isnt well-frequented some bugs have settled into and around the box-just a heads up. Tftc
Out close to the area doing some cache maintenance and decided to knock this one over as we had attempted in winter and found it was just to wet.
Easy find on a lovely night. Some great areas for other caches to........................... watch this space maybe......hehehehe

Would have never expected such a lovely place here!
Unfortunately, all papers are pretty wet although covered in plastic.

Great hide. Took me a while as I decided to take the adventurous route and my gps was a bit off. I'm wondering if there is a proper entrance to this park. I climbed through a gap in the fence. There were a whole bunch of newspapers there that I couldn't pick up (just too many) so if anyone else feels like a good deed, come prepared with a rubbish bag.
I must have looked right past the cache a few times as I concentrated on a particular type of hide. As I looked further, I finally spotted the cache. XNSL. TFTC.
Couldn't find the entrance to the park so went through the fence. Located what the hint said to look for and made it an easy find. TFTC
Had looked for this a couple of times with no luck - 8 year old found it first time today!
What a really nice piece of bush in the middle of suburbia. And a reminder how lucky we are that we don't have any nasties lurking. Having just cached in QLD and Florida recently one learns to step, poke and prod with caution.

Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
After picking a good spot to enter the bush, we made a beeline to GZ and made a quick find of the cache. TFTC!

Picked up this cache on a quick outing to get our numbers up for July.
Searched for a while before one team member, ignoring the Garmin, located GZ and the cache was soon in hand!

We had stopped near this one a wee while ago, and for some reason, didn't attempt to retrieve it.
Today, we thought we would have a look... 9YO and 5YO raced to grab it, 9YO came up with the cache this time.
Dad was a bit perplexed by the title, as the cache didn't seem to match???

Epic challenge with little to no GPS coverage, but lots of mozzie coverage to make up for it. TFTC.
Found with Molly macklin and wendythebean ... A nice bush bash close to civilisation..
Accompanied Slopit12, wow need the bug spray for this one for sure!!! Nice cache! TB! TFTC!
My first geofind! Unnecessarily Went 100m through undulating terrain but it was worth it. Through all the biting bugs I found the traveling kind
Lovely reserve of beautiful trees here. Had to jump fence as no track to follow. Nice find thou.
Looked for an easy way into the park. Since there was none we climbed over the fence. TFTC
Nice bush bash before school finishes and the muggles roll in. Theres obviously been some heavy foot traffic in this bush but not to the GZ luckily. Nice hide in a lovly native bush. Tftc.
Thanks for making the Space_pirates day with your lovely treasure chest. TNLN....
TFTC - absolutely lovely little bit of bush -should be opened up and developed for the public to walk thru, GPS was spot on
It was a bit strange to climb over the fence/gate. But no sign it was forbidden so off we go. It is a pitty that they don't make this a public park it is very beautiful.
Found it easy with the clear hint.

Found surprisingly easy despite the GPS being rather confused as to where it should be by using some geocaching experience of where to look. This was a fun bash in and out.
First we thought it is jungle out of there but then we found a right path to the cache. Greetings from Finland.TFTC
The mission was to drive around looking for the best entry point . Arrived at the GZ area, did a 360 to check out the suspect locations, and the cache was soon in hand. A nice bit of bush - a little wet today! ...TFTC
we had trouble locating this one...can you make sure it is still there?? sorry...this is my first time searching...
Quick hop over the fence and it was a nice find. GPS bit dodgey with all the tree cover. TFTC
Over the gate and down the hill. Must be here somewhere. Gotcha. Favorite from us. What a wonderfull stand of Palms. TFTC
Had some spare this afternoon as I had the day off for a trip to the dentist. Clambered over the padlocked gate and had a gentle stroll to GZ. The GPS was a bit unsure of itself down there but nevertheless the cache was found in quick time. TFTC.
Had some time before getting the kids...
TFTC
Just realised! I reached 100 caches!

Decided to do this one as i was in the area. Wasn't too sure where to enter but decided to climb over the padlocked gate. Looks like i made the correct decision. Easy walk to GZ. GPS didnt like the tree cover too much, however the hint made the find fairly easy. Signed log and took TB. TFTC!!
Found eventually in the waning light. GPS all over the place but eventually found by simply checking all the big nikau in the area...
Loads of marbles in the swag for some reason; took most out and replaces with some nice upgraded stuff for the next visitor.

A couple of spare hours late this afternoon to squeeze some caching in. Had my eye on this cache for a while, but it always felt out of the way. Decided to tick it off today! Parked up, leaped the fence and was quickly at GZ. Stuck my hand out and came up with the cache. Nice quick find. Rehid with a touch of natural camo. Cheers for the cache.
Enjoyable escape from the hot Auckland sun while hunting for this cache. Thanks
Did I miss the obvious entrance? Undertook a vehicular circumnavigation of the native grove, (which I am not quite sure why it is contained by post and wire - hazards?? cliffs?? is it a Council swimming area that is fenced??, keep animals out??), and came up empty on how to enter. Parked up roadside, then out on foot to blend with the early morning walking neighbourhood. Spied a padlocked wooden gate near GZ, no sign of a "no entry" sign, so had a quick muggle glance left and right, then hiked over the gate and was in. Quick walk to the cache and an even quicker find. The area of very dense nikaus is spectacular, pity I couldnt enjoy them (didnt explore how to get there) as filtered sunlight, fog or drizzle would make this a picturesque place. TFTC.
Nice quick find. Enjoying my tour around Auckland with excellent weather again today. SL TFTC
2.15pm. What a substantial new housing estate we discovered on the way to this cache. Had difficulty finding the obvious point of entry to the reserve but no matter. Delightful peaceful reserve. Once we had located the cache we just sat a while and watched the sun filtering down onto the young nikau's and ferns. A great spot for a cache.
Added a tie pin and a geocoin. Took a key tag.

Found this one with a group of primary school students who are learning all about geo-caching. Thanks for the easy find and inspiring my kids in walking distance of our school.
Had attempted this one a year ago, but with a better gps in hand we decided to have another go.
Success! So quick we had time to head for the playground...

Back here with a successful find now I have a new GPS. Love the nikau's. TFTC
