Logs
Parked on the road where it cuts under the power lines and followed the 4WD tracks to GZ. Found it after a little fossicking around. Signed the log and as mentioned in the pervious log a new log book will be needed soon. Cache was nice and dry and TB D6B386 was still there.
Thanks for putting a cache here Lucy & Roo as there are some great views out to the river.

Very nice cache , does need a new book and pens though , tried logging in book but pen didn't work
A beautiful walk to gz and luckily within our 5km radius so we could attempt during lockdown. For D the cache safe and well, but the log is very full. Thanks!
We parked at a gate near the powerlines and walked about a kilometre to GZ. A spectacular set of cliffs. For a moment, we thought a difficult descent was required. However, the etex settled and took us right to the cache. 10 monthe since it last had a visitor. Cache container and contents were all in good order. Didn't take long to walk back, even at our Pensioner pace. Thanks Lucy & Roo for placing this cache and bringing us to a nice location.
It would be worthwhile replacing the log. I had to sign the back cover. Probably good for another 7 or 8 signatures if they are small
After a bit of a walk i got to the spot and took in the views. Spectacular. Ended up resorting to the hint and previous logs. After 3 dnf's i was quite happy to find this
Spend the day out helping Bonfire7 complete his 50km Radius. While we were at it, there was enough time to help me knock off some of my remaining caches. This one was one of them. Having a bigger car helped on the trails. We were at GZ in no time, and the cache was located quite easy. Yet another view of the local area. Thanks for bringing me here.
Out with Muppet95 and Bonfire7. With the 50k radius accomplished and behind us, we set out to pick up a few of the more remote caches in the area. We weren't sure of the best approach for this one but soon found the low road was not the way to go. Back up to the high gate. We found a decent parking spot and took the short stroll to GZ where we found a very small palm to point our way. Took a few photos then there was just enough light left for one more cache before heading home. TFTC.
Have been wanting to do this one for a while now. Beautiful long weekend weather and cache found. Tftc love the view!
Cache in good condition considering how long its been since last found. Great views. Should have brought a few cold ones . Thanks for the cache .
Nice views! The log is almost full so probably worth adding another one of possible! Thanks for the cache!
After the GPSr routed us to a lower approach that would have been largely through private property after that we chose to try a 'different tack', which worked, but the lower 2wd Metro got snagged on a rock, and when we got back to the car found that we didn't have ANY brakes - ooops.
With a nice sized cache I was able to leave a Correct Site Marker - surgical marking pen.
Well that put a 'crimp in the plans', as we had hoped to head a lot further South for at least a week, but with the time and money to repair the car we ended up heading back up North.
Brought through for mileage: Calvin The California Raisin, "Mineral Mountain (CO)" Green Jeep Travel Bug, 12-12-12 Event, 3 Bros, Aust Light Houses, BEAGLE BIXBY, B 2 B ingot, BROWN BEAR 15, Coin of Danmark, DyerMkr's Copper Triple Dragon Geocoin, Fishing Bell TB, GeoCookie Geocoin, Horace, Iconic Bridges, land rover TB, Lil' Miss TB, Mitsubishi Evo VI, cache critters Baa, Neigh Neddy, and Oink, NZ Mega 2013 GCookie Coin, PAP, Raban, Rienan TB, Spooky, steben6's DNF Duo - Super Cacher Geocoin, The Lord of the Caches - Earth, Trakabulldog geocoins, Travel Bug Dog Tag, VIRGINia TAG, and trackable shirts. (Most of which are heading to a TB Motel near home)

This cache, or rather the routing to it became the undoing of our caching trip down South. Somehow got the brake line snagged, but that was only found after getting back to the car.
The way to the cache was actually fairly straight forward, nice spot for it. TNLNSL

Last find of a slightly frustrating (2x DNF) day. Was happy to test the newish GeoForester up onto the powerline trail and managed to get within 100M of GZ. Scrambled around a bit looking upwards for the hint object before looking downwards instead. Poked around with a stick and made a quick find in the end. Absolutely stunning views from here and some fun rock-hopping to be had as well. Great way to end the day. TFTC!
It has been a while since this was last found. I will have to bring Donna here with a picnic lunch.

What a trek!! Beautiful view and well worth the snake bite risk! Nice hide, now we just have to find our way back.. Oh yeah, GPS!! Traded SWAG, SL. TFTC!
Stunning location after sighting a large snake glad we didn't have to bash throught the bush too much. TFTC
Great day to be out and about. Found with J+J.au. We managed to get our 2WD vehicle within 100 mtrs of GZ. Walked along the escarpment sticking to the flat walls rather than the bush after encountering a rather large brown snake at our previous cache. Tentatively reached for the cache but all was good. Especially the views. We took some great photos. SLTN ..TFTC
What a great place to spend a peaceful afternoon a wonderful view and some tame wildlife. TYFTC
Decided the 4x4 we brought here wasn't going ahead so we enjoyed a nice walk while the geo dog enjoyed the mud
I borrowed Geo-hubby's 4WD for this one, travelled along Depot Road and then tried to turn onto the track under the power lines, it was at this stage things went a little pear-shaped - a 4WD is only useful if you know how to drive it in 4WD (something to do with locking hubs / low & high range ?). Anyway I decided that if I just reved the guts out of it I would get out of the muddy hole I was in without getting mud on my shoes.
This worked ! Got to within 80 mtrs of GZ, Enjoyed a lovely walk past the flannel flowers & a strange stone cirlce. TN Left Simpsons Comic. SL TFTC

Like Foxes, we thought about trying to get to the wrong 'hint'. But a quick look through the log told us that we needed to expand the search area and bingo, we almost stood on a well camo'd cache. Great views, unfortunately we didn't have time to sit and enjoy.
TNLN, SL, TFTC.
Whoops....forgot to log that I took the Ruler TB.

Took show laces and left a TB.
Thanks for a great cache!!

Nowra Invasion 10. I think this was the best spot of our weekend caching, although the big round waterfall a bit further south was a close second. We found the power line trail that took us to just near the cache, and the rock hopping over the escarpment was exhilarating. The view down to the valley was special. Thanks.

Well some how I had missed this one while writing out our hit list but as we searched for another near by cache we stumbled onto this on thanks to Tomtom who shows us little boxes representing caches and since it was 80m from the car thought hey why not. It was a very nice spot and found by dad after two boys almost tripped over it tftc
This was my favourite cache of the whole trip. I could have spent ages here hopping the gaps in the rocks and climbing up and down. Plenty of room for more cache up here too. Damn that 160 metre rule. View was fantastic!
After the boys doing a nearby cache that I did the night before we went for this one. Best way to get to it I would say is along the power pole road. Got very close any closer we would of fallen off. Made a easy find then checked out the lovely views wow!
Didnt want to get to close to the cliffs but enjoyed the area much TFTC took two gcs

This has been on the list for a while, so it was great to have the chance to enjoy the cliff-top walk today, and great views of the river and farm below. Easy find, well camouflaged!

Took neclace keft compass, stickers, pen, shoelaces and marbles. Awesome view and pa gave us a history lesson
I decided to take the slightly longer and steeper approach from the locked gate near the "Depot" cache.
This was a strategic move to burn off some extra Christmas Kilos!
A well stocked, decent sized container only a few metres from GZ.
Thanks Lucy for showing me this great area!

Found this one after doing depot luckily armed with topo maps found a 4WD track that took me straight to it.While I was doing the Log thingy a big grey kangaroo decided to hop over and say hello less than 5 metres away as soon as I reached down to pick up the gps and switch it to camera mode he must have noticed I was there and hopped off before I could get a snap shot. Ahhh well that is one of the reasons I love caching you never know what you'll come across. Oh and fantastic un fenced views from here spent some time doing the camera thing well worth the trip.

This is the type of cache I love - taking me to an amazing place just minutes from home that I never knew existed. I'll definitely be back with a camera.
Found by CacheBoyAge7 - his second find for the day. Cacheboy 2, Dad 0. He left the dinosaur he picked up earlier in the day and took a game. We also took the travelbug to help it on its way.
Thanks Lucy and Roo for another great cache.

Nice views even thought the weather was crap. Found after a short search with cassie the wonder dog making the find.. Dropped in a TB and took the one that was there TFTC. Greg.
This is a very beautifull place and thanks to pelusa that drove me there - swap TB - thanks Lucy & Roo
Had checked GE before leaving home however couldn't find the track head so parked the UAV in Lydon Cres & walked down to the "public reserve" i.e. the cleared area under the power lines. An easy walk from here. Once near the cache I heard the familiar sound of a friendly dog. He kept me company, shared my afternoon tea, helped find the cache & gave it a good sniffing over. We made our swaps, looked around & then headed back. Fortunately we saw his owner on the way back & off he went. Woof. Thank you.
What a beautiful spot this was late in the afternoon. I managed to finished my 4x4ing early so i couldn't leave town without bagging one last cache.
The serinty and views were great. Rain was falling over Camberwarra Mt, the only disappointment was the bitterly cold coditions. TN left a U4D TB. Thanks guys. Will upload a few pics soon.

A large well stocked cache in a truly wonderful area with fantastic views.
It doesn’t get much better than this one. Many thanks to you Lucy & Roo for giving us the opportunity to experience this cache.

Drove almost to the spot. I must find a way into the valley below. Took the ladybug, left the lantern
Thanks, Pelusa

This gave me a good walk as I parked over at the Showgrounds.
Thought I might have been at the wrong height but the Sats sorted themselves out.
It was a very easy find after that.
Find #200, maybe now I can call myself a Geocacher.

This is a cool place with great views. We didn't drive all the way in as we may have been in the wrong spot anyway but we enjoyed it none the less.
We took T.B but we also found a Geocoin we decided to take it but if we need to return it we will.
We left a poker chip and little chicken.

As per usual, parked in the wrong spot & walked the long way in & the even longer way out as was losing day light & missed my turn, eventually made way back to car, happy with the fresh air & exercise the awesome well stocked cache had given me.
Thanks for bringing me to another spot I had never ventured to before.
