Tried this one twice and still no luck Sad I wonder if it has gone missing or the clues have faded

Thats one way to spend a cold foggy day, wallowing around in the mud hunting for clues. Think WP 2 may need attention soon, as I couldn't find it, but after reading the logs I found what smelled like the next way point and there it was.

WP2 is half destroyed due to peeling bark. I think it would be courteous to fix this.

I was in the area, and the housework was not urgent, so I decided to pick up a few today.

I did not expect this one to take as long as it did. I found the second waypoint, but no coordinates written on any of the trees. I scrolled through the logs until I found one that had a hint I could follow.

By the time I got back to my car I was weary and hungry. Still, I've had my exercise for the day Razz TFTC!

Looked for this one on three different occasions today. Couldn't find 2nd waypoint but managed to figure out next clue after calling home to get the clues read out to us again. Were about to give up when we figured out the location of the last bit of information and found the cache Smile

But definitely be wary of the plant life in the area around the hide. Probably a good idea to wear long sleeves or to have gloves handy. Took yoyo, left mood ring and small pot of glitter. TFTC Smile

This is a story of attractive young women and backyards eventually leading to a cache.
When I got to the suggested parking spot a car stopped behind me. A very beautiful women hopped out with the most stunning face. Very destracted as didn't realise her leggings where very see through until she was walking away.
Got to wp 1 and was being watched frim behind the gate not including the massive dogs leaning over the other fence. was obviously a little destracted still as mistook the calculations and was going to head 3km away. Soon got it right and headed to wp 2. Couldn't find what was necessary. After 20 minutes if searching sent a text to another attractive young women knowing that she would pass the message straight to her dad. Sure enough got the reply. He didn't have the exact coords but directed me to something that was lacking in fresh air hint hint for the final wp.
Numbers soon calculated and off I went to find cache with a passing train and clumping around in the backyard.
Cache found and no more attractive birds to complete the story.

Awesome geocache, thanks for the challenge. Really enjoyed ourselves TFTC

The legs were getting a bit tired after a big day of caching, but I had enough left in me to do this one. one quad bike, one black dog and two model planes were enjoying the oval space as I walked around hunting down WPs and finally the cache!

TDC (The Demolition Crew which includes myself, Blacklegend and Trailrunning) headed out for another of our regular get together night caching runs. Once again luck was with us and the weather held off with only a light sprinkle of rain towards the end of the night.
We started just north of the city to collect a couple of new caches as well as one we had attempted previously but found out later was MIA, but was now back up and running. From the city we headed east for a route which took us on through Ringwood and Lilydale and then along winding roads up through the Yarra Glen region. Overall we had a great night with us visiting new areas for the first time and with all finds made.
The birds were quiet as it was well into the night when we came here. The ground was a bit wet and boggy in spots as we made our way from each waypoint before arriving at GZ. The hiding location was spotted and the cache was soon retrieved.
Thanks Team RooBok, a nice sized cache too.

04-Sep-12
Another week, another TDC run. Not so much about the numbers here, but about cleaning out some inner city caches and a few more than that in the outer areas. CCT0 was looked at, and we did everything but the final on that. A number of new caches came out in the evening, but as TR said in his logs, not all of us got a FTF. Still another great night with plenty of adventure and the awesome company of the TDC crew (myself, Quasar3671 and TrailRunning).

Wet, boggy, but very quiet. Love night caching, its is very tranquil and pleasant. No problems at GZ the cache was soon spotted. TFTC.

Out and about again today with the GCA Geosportz 2012 Game as the focus, this cache is part of the "Badminton" requirement of finding a cache that relates to animal powered flight. (Birds)
We originally were going to find Mozza B's garden before this one but there were kids on the playground so we came down here instead. We made our sloshy way to WP1 where we projected the WP from the info collected. It was VERY sloshy going across the parklands but we both had good walking shoes on so that was ok. Once at WP2 we looked around for about 5 mins before we found the info! We felt a bit silly once we found it - it is very obvious when you look in the right place although the numbers are getting a bit hard to read. When we input the numbers into the GPS and saw how far/where it was we thought we had made a mistake as it required us to cross a small road, however this turned out to be right. WP3 was easy and GZ was a nice easy find. TNLNSL
TFTC Team Roobok and for showing us around both parks - GJMMelb.

I picked this one up on a mini cache run out this way one afternoon. A nice little stroll through two different areas had me at a hide that was easily found. Thanks.

Found at 1150 Hrs. Couldn't find WP2, not sure if we read instructions wrongly but came across what we thought could have been WP3 checked co-ords and located GZ. Took Train Left Yo-yo TFTC. (GZ is not the cleanest place.)

Found with sksjd a nice stroll around an area I always drive by but never stop at pity the final cache was in an area that some one is using to dump dog poo and rubbish but overall a nice multi that incorporated a nice walk tftc tnln

Out caching with Xambo4U after work. We had planned to complete the nearby cache first, but made the wrong turn so we parked and decided to complete this one first. Found WP1 and calculated WP2 and walked straight across the oval, found the next set of co-ordinates and walked along the path towards WP3 and then continued walking along to GZ. GZ is a not so nice place, a bit of rubbish all over the place.

Out and about with Toycar doing one of our after work, daylight savings, cache nights. My sixth for the night. We ended up at this location by default but decided we would leave the cars here and go for the walk. Picked up the clue for first WP and then moved on. WP2 was a quick find, and now to continue on our journey. WP3 came soon enough and now for final. Nice easy find and out there for all to see, but non would be going past so I dont think its a problem. We tried to replace with a bit of cover but no luck. Suprised to see how little this cache has been visited.
Thanks for the cache Team RooBok

Found @1550 #566
This one has been on the radar for sometime and was in the area so decided to attempt this one. Dress in suitable gear for the wet cold weather did the waypoints with ease thanks to the good descriptive instructions. Cache was found and log sign during a short break in the rain. My geopen decided to die during the signing of the log and therefore was thankful that the cache log pen was in good working order. Left blue stones, took nothing. TFTC.

Thanks Team RooBok for this cache. I was very impressed by the use of information at Waypoint 3. They have put a walkway down just before the trees at Waypoint 2 with Crime Scene tape surrounding both sides to try to get some revegetation happening in this area (I presume). This may restrict access to the Waypoint in the future but I am not sure what will happen. It is incredible how large parks are when you walk them rather than drive them. I heard a lot of birds but didn't see many. I left slinky and took pink torch.

TFTC Team RooBook.

This was indeed a lovely walk. However, after the rain last night I wish I had not worn my runners. Everything below my knees was soaked by the time I finished with all that wet grass. Found the gate, then the tree, then the numbers and lastly the cache which was alarmingly easy to see but I suppose the muggles don't come around here much. All the clues were exactly where they should be - thanks. TNLN. SL. TFTC.

Easily got to WP1 and counted the bars, however following the instructions to the next WP confused us both. Took a bit of a punt at it but the warm day and lunch was too much to ignore! Will hve to ponder this one and have another attempt.

[First multi-cache ever, lots of fun, but a bit difficult with an iPhone because of the use of] bearings and we found quite hard at the end with all the spiky sticks in the way.[really fun, TFTC!]

Found and eyeballed the cache, but didn't not retrieve the container due to lack of a stick or protective clothing (eg. gloves) to get past the thorny branches between me and the prize. TNLN. TFTC.

[An easy find @ 17:40 after dodging the rain showers to pick up the necessary information. This is a very pleasant park and normally fairly busy but the weather certainly changed that.] This is the first cache I've done that uses true bearings instead of magnetic - but it became obvious fairly quickly Smile [I covered the cache a bit better as it was in plain view when I arrived. Just be careful of the blackberry branches - they bite!

Thanks Team RooBok for your effort on this one. TNLNSL]

first cache found completely by my self Big Grin

rode my bike for most of it, but was easier to walk to find the waypoint clues and the end cache.

NOTE: cache had a little bit of water in it. I dried it out as best as I could and dried the swaps.

We were a bit concerned about finding this one as our GPS doesn't do bearings, but happily we figured it out. A small group were flying some sort of radio-controlled jet around the oval, no idea what propelled it but it looked and sounded pretty cool. A nice walk around before it got too hot.

SL, took mini can opener, left insect-eye lens. TFTC!

16:12 King and Queen Jnr.

A bit of a story here - we did a nearby cache the other week and enjoyed the playground over lunch - at that time we go ready to start this cache but ran out of time with the usual comment from the back seat.... but dad there is always just one more that you want to do....

Today I was back after visiting in hospital King Snr. Did a few others in the area and started with this nice walk and then realsed the time - bugger back home to take my queen to a doctors appointment - which went well so back we came after.

Arriving at GZ (after first plugging in the wrong coords!) my queen went out for the hunt while I fed our geoprince#2 she arrived back a short time later having located the cache but had not found a way to retrieve it - I made my approach and using a handy tool was able to sign the log and return the cache to its location.

Thanks again Team RooBok

My 600th cache find found with Elaine and Anthony 8th and final find for the day. This would be the closest cache to Elaine’s home we ended up finding this one by torch light. Thanks for the enjoyable cache no swaps made

didn't find the cache. and left Australia en went home to Holland. We were not experienced multi-cache-chasers by that time and were looking for a cache where we probably should have sought for a hint. Not so easy to search for it again soon. (we received a message that we didn't log yet) BIG6

18.55pm.Maccamob and i ( bones1 from england) arrived to find so many folk all doing strenuous activities that made me feel weary.but off we went to clue no 1 to give us the direction to go off in next,im not too good with the projection side of things but david was good at that part.so off we went right over there for a nice walk in the evening light,to soon find our very good next clue.so more very pleasant walking but im missing seeing any more birds after all the bird spotting lessons ive had from david.got to our next clue that we went by earlier but would not know about yet.so more sums for a short walk to gz where we were carefull and i was brave snakes and all i got hold of the cache.a great walk around this park and a well put together caching experience thank you. a good hide where we both signed the log.sltn.patandjeff=bones1.

17-Mar-09
Found by David in company with Bones1 from UK at 1855. This turned out to be an interesting and enjoyable multi, with a variety of methods used to generate each successive waypoint. The only downside, for Jeff, was that it was after feeding time for the birds, of which there were none to be seen at WP1. We did get to see a training session for a local footy team in full swing though. Our projection from WP1 was accurate enough to make our destination clear, and we were amused at the method employed to record the details on the relevant tree. Our progression from there to WP3 and the final GZ proved uneventful. The cache hiding spot was reasonably obvious when we arrived, but we certainly had to take some care to avoid the thorns, as advised. TNLN. Our thanks again to Team RooBok.

Two DNFs on this cache. I have been away on holiday, but will do some maintenance ASAP. Apologies to the previous 2 cachers.

Found the first point and counted the number of vertical bars on the gate. With the lack of an actual compass, and having to resort to the built-in one in our Oregon 300, we shot the bearing to the first container but couldn't find it. We recalibrated the compass and tried again (this time at another group of trees) but still couldn't find it. Gave up after about 1hr. Sad

30-Dec-08
We were all set to find this one but after finding the first spot easily, found we were missing most of the instructions - what we had didn't make sense. A note to hiders - for those of us who use PDAs for paperless caching, putting cache instructions in an image is next to useless. Please put them in text. I will now have to go back and do this one again.

Second attempt at this one. There are a lot of blackberries near GZ. However access to the cache is not to bad. Really enjoyed this hunt. Cheers Ric.

Found it with Mrblack Our 1st Multi so we were very happy with the find.

great cache. we only had a problem locating the the waypoint after the gate but we found it. we took a small deck of cards and left a thong keyring and a torch keyring. TFTC

One of my favourite caches of the day. We heard lots of birds in the trees near WP1 and then enjoyed the rest of the walk across the park collecting the easy to locate clues.
My kind of multi.
Thanks team Roobok

26-Oct-08
Luckily there was lots of cloud cover and not too much sun as feathertop and I traversed around the park gathering the clues. There was a guy flying a model airplane near WP2 but otherwise just ourselves around here. Nicely hidden cache of a fine size.

Robmc was awake up that the image wasn't going to appear in our PDA's so we came armed with a printout luckily. Don't think we parked at the recommended point but we found everything else that was required including the cache so no complaints. Nice little stroll to clear the cobwebs after driving over from the west.
Thanks indeed

20-Oct-08
It was dark before we arrived, so the muggles were nearly absent (with one exception). The first clue was found and Chewin' said "I bet its on the other side of the park". Off we trompt across the field. Found the next clue quickly, and off we walked again.
Must be an interesting place when the rain comes down.
With the final clue in hand, we were off to GZ. A couple of blackberries later, the cache was in hand.
Nice multi.
Thanks, Robmc.

Found at 4.55pm GAFF4. This was an interesting find. A few weeks ago we inadvertantly received some unsolicited hints on this cache and today when we tried to locate it we found that the text on our PDA was in miniature format so we just could not read a word. So nothing else to do but to call a mate for assistance and after looking at the hint as well - I know this was the full hog dishonerable find - we found the sweet smelling cache. Just loved the area with some of the houses on a particular road having a fantastic broadside close-up view of the Dandenongs - just magnificent.
Thanks Team RooBok.

28-Aug-08
Met up with Acts2youth group for a cache and a coffee. Cache first - wp1 was fine, and arriving at wp2 I noticed something but dismissed it, but went back to it 20 seconds later to find it was the clue! Off to wp3 where the info was found easily and then the cache was also an easy find at gz. Thanks Team Roobook for a nice walk on a sunny morning.

28-Aug-08
I have been puting this one off for some time as I all ways have trouble with doing projections on my gps, I was glad I met up with Alansee at this one and he had no trouble on his Garmin, we were soon at the second point but did not find the container where described it had made its way some 5m away and was sitting in the open, we continued on collected the next set of numbers and were soon off again to GZ for a nice find. There were plenty of birds around today. Thanks for the cache.

Logged at 1330 hrs.
We parked in a very familar spot right beside the path that Swaggie2 used to walk when she was being a nanny to some kids nearby. We went to the first wpt and collected the info before setting off to wpt2. Had a bit of trouble here as we could not locate the info and so had to call the help line. Found the info soon after that. (Are you sure you are not related to The Morris?) Proceeded to wpt 3 and collected the info and then headed to GZ. After a quick log we looked around and realised our old house was just over the railway line from where we were.
Thanks Team RooBook for the cache.

I found our 6th Dellboy1203 / Team RooBok cache at 5:30pm as the final of 2 on my 'Caches I can do on the way home - The Sequel' tour. Found Waypoint 1 easily. Also Waypoint 2 but I am not sure of the place that I found it was the original intended spot but I left it as I found it so it may be worth a check. The next spot was also found quickly though I reckon it is dark blue Wink. Finally the cache was soon in hand. Thanks for the cache from D B-A.

Found by Bob at 1215

It was a bit of a miserable day to be out walking, but I needed to go out for a few errands, so I thought I'd divert and see if I could get this one. Luckily, the rain stopped just after I left the car and, apart from wet feet from the sodden grass and ground in the area, I managed to stay quite dry. I didn't see a lot of birds, except for a pair of Crimson Rosellas in the backyard at the 1st wp. After that, everything proceeded quite smoothly and I was again impressed by the accuracy of Roobok's coordinates Smile. I guess the numbers at wp3 must have been checked in low light, because they're actually blue, not black (but this didn't faze me or hold me up at all). At GZ, the cache was a nice, quick find and I was rather impressed by the size of the object it was hidden in - too bad it's no longer "complete".

Thanks Team Roobok
