Found with whiskasnz on a day when most nearby residents were away for the week. We had solved this a long time ago but wasn't sure about GZ being where our co-ords told us. We drove tentatively to where our GPS directed us and suddenly all became clear. Thank goodness for the hint. Log is full but we managed to scribble our names on the paper. TFTC
Dakotacats solved this ages ago and today we decided to have a look for it because we needed a puzzle cache for the road trip challenge. We were a bit worried about driving into the area near GZ but once we saw the hint object we knew we were in the right place. The car was a good shield so it was a quick find. TFTC
I'd been saving this one for a bit for a Dot Day, but so many have gone out recently that, on the way hame from an event I thought what the hay.
A quick find, as I'd had it in hand before, on a cold blustery night. A quick sign and replacement.
The log was full and running out of spaces to squiggle on.
Thanks for the different puzzle and hunt.

You know that feeling when you finally end up with some co-ords that make sense?? It's even better when those co-ords prove correct. Found with Aoraki Sheep.
As others have mentioned the log is FULL and needs a replacement. Sorry we didn't have anything on us to replace it - we were passing when we spotted a parking place close by so we took the opportunity for a look to see if our co-ords were correct.

Came down to Dunedin for the weekend - almost spur of the moment. We decided on Wednesday, and headed down Friday.
Spent the whole time almost caching round with mum, and having a ball of a time catching up! Was nice to find some new caches placed since last time, and do a bit of the more intense ones there was no time for before!
This was also on the to find list for the weekend, so we stopped on by. All quiet on the front today! Weekend, daytime, morning, the day after (or two days after?) the keg party must be the way to go - everyone around was still sleeping!!
Logbook is completely full though - and has been full since October 2012 at least.

unfortunately I didn't have anything suitable with me.

A day out with Hevic, Silvachief and Jaycie today, this time around South Dunedin. Our last one for the day - I'd gone on a puzzle solving binge throughout the week and solved this one in seconds flat. When it came to extraction, we thought at first there would be issues - the area near GZ is currently undergoing maintenance - but the cache itself is still accessible despite this maintenance. The cache is in need of some TLC though - the logbook is very damp, and I could only just make my mark. Cheers!
I've had this one solved for a while but it wasn't until I plotted the coords this week that I realized it was 50m from my work! Quick grab on my way home - thanks for the fun puzzle and cool final location!
I really enjoyed the process of solving this one and the final location was good too, So I'm giving this one a fav point. Good one! TFTC.
Thought Id be stuck on this for a while but a quick download of a certain program and the puzzle was solved! Easy find at GZ. TFTC
Last find of the day after a road trip nto Oamaru and back, just needed one more to round the day out with 70 finds and this was it. TFTC
Decided to go and find today when we were in the area doing a number of errands.
A neat spot we hadn't been to before - we expected there to be a cache around here somewhere so nice to know where it is located.
Signed logbook on 23 October 2012 13:54:00. It is now very full and needs replacing.

Homeward bound with Karma Reprint from the MEGA. Nice hide, a bit chilly so no muggles out and about. A bit chilly TNLN Thanks.
A quick find in the obvious spot.
The return journey home to Christchurch with Kiwi Moose after the NZMEGA in Dunedin. Thanks for hide.

There was some skepticism from the group as we parked the car, about whether we had the right answer, but as we rounded the corner it became obvious. Very nicely done, thanks wallaceDuo.
A neat little find after attending the CITO Event and before heading out to the Mega Event site to check in. One of the many puzzles that was solved before we headed over from Australia.
Found with fitzy_1965, Winglen, ZsaZsa7 and our NZ caching mate Rextrex on our 8 day trip to NZ for the Mega Event. We visited many areas, found some great caches and had a great time.
Many thanks to all cachers for yet another find in NZ.

Had this one solved before we left Australia for the Mega event. A little bit of doubt at first, then of course the inevitable "got it" was shouted out.
Thanks for the cache and the puzzle wallaceDue.

A shared find with my Aussie caching mates Winglen, Zsazsa7, Sol de Lune and Fitzy-1965 as a part of the NZMEGA2012 experience and our subsequent tour.
Thanks WallaceDuo for your effort in creating an interesting little puzzle and on finding an equally interesting place for GZ. Enjoyed coming to this place.

5459 + 591 = 6050. Day 2 of my week long visit to the New Zealand South Island for the NZ Mega 2012 event along with Sol de Lune, Zsazsa7, Winglen and RexTrex.
Now that the group was finally together after some problems with Flights it was time to start some serious caching ! We went for a walk around central Dunedin then attended the CITO. After that was over we grabbed this puzzle cache which we had previously solved ! A nice fun puzzle which took a bit of playing with to get it just right. Thanks again wallaceDuo - nicely done - Fav Point from me !

Solved this at home before coming down for the Mega - had a lovely chat with a fellow cacher who was staying in the building opposite while we waited for muggles to move off into the buiding we wanted to be at - picked this as our Mystery cache in our 9 types of caches in a day attempt today - tyhis #4 in that attempt - thank you very much for the cache - signed log
Another of the 40 odd Mystery's solved before leaving home. Arrived at GZ and found a muggle waiting for somebody right where we needed to be. Decided to wait for awhile when we saw a fellow cahcer who was staying there come out of building so after a chat our muggle departed and we were able to grab the cache TFTC

Was in Dunedin to attended the first ever Mega in New Zealand. Managed to work it out so that I was able to team up with fozzmiester and agcnz and go on an 8 day caching trip around the South Island, this was day 2 of the road trip.
Managed to solve this puzzle cache before I left Wellington so put it on my list so that if I was passing by the cache I would pick it up. This was our first cache for the day as we decided that we would make our way to MEGA GZ to register.
Arriving at GZ, it didnt take too long for us to find the hiding spot for this cache, sign and replaced the cache back as found. Thanks for placing this cache here and for bringing us to this spot and also for creating the clever little puzzle. TFTC TNLNSL (4779)

A quick find with fozzmiester and Yeetrees during a few hours' caching in Dunedin before heading to the MEGA event. I had solved this puzzle a couple of years ago but never had the opportunity to get to GZ despite a number of visits to Dunedin so it was very satisfying to score it at last. Signed log, TFTC!
Find # 4475 and a total of 78 today with Marcus Vitruvius, on the 4th day of our NZ Mega trip, on the way around the Dunedin area. Another nice puzzle cache and hide and then on the way again. TFTC wallaceDuo,

A quick find this morning to kick off the day's caching. Thanks for the nice puzzle and TFTC
Found as part of an 8 day NZ Mega Event trip. Day 2 - Dunedin and surrounds. Thanks to the owners of the 500 + caches which I had the pleasure to find along the way and which contributed to a very fun trip.

This was another puzzle solved before heading over from Australia for the mega event this weekend...and what a cool little puzzle it was. Whilst the solution seemed half obvious...it took a little bit more playing with it to get it right. Today Roostaman and I stopped by to make the find, and we were wondering where we were being taken at first...until we saw GZ...and it was a fitting little spot.

For nearly three years the final co-ords for this cache have lived in my puzzle notebook and my name has been on the logsheet since late 2010 (back when we tried to get our parents interested in geocaching) but this was my first official opportunity to sign it myself. When he first cracked the puzzle, my Dunedin-based brother had even hoped to spy somebody logging this - so close was it to his home - but never managed it.
So it was with double delight that I: a. Got to pop over to GZ whilst on an errand run into town during the setup for NZ Mega; and b. Muggled two other cachers here before Sunday's CITO.

5732. [font=Century Gothic][green]I solved over 30 puzzles for Dunedin before heading here and ended up only having time to grab a couple. Oh well I guess that means they are waiting for the next time. A quick find in a mostly deserted place this morning.

Rated: for Overall Experience
Enjoyed solving the puzzle. Walked right past GZ but quickly found once I was in the correct place. TFTC.
Great lunchtime cache. Found without any problem, but no pen and log is full so didn't sign. TFTC
I solved this puzzle the other day and dropped by GZ not long afterwards but unfortunately there were a few gardeners working nearby which sort of put a damper on things.
Dropped by again today at the start of a mission and it was nice and quiet. Quickly found the cache, extracted, signed log, flicked away a spider that was hiding on the container and replaced. The whole exercise took about a minute
Thanks for the puzzle and cache

Once we had the coords this was an easy find. The log will need changing after another couple of finds. TFTC
we finally went around at a good relatively muggle-free time, after having worked it out a while ago (thanks to the technical skills of tunfisk ) really cool spot, TFTC!! funny having run into the owner at a party just today
Cool spot. Came to the spot when there were no muggles around. Easy puzzle knew what to do straight away.TFTC.
ah a quiet time of year. didn't take too long to spot.
hopefully went unnoticed (especially by one person).

Fortunately on this public holiday there were no muggles around this morning. The cache was quickly spotted in about the only place it could be. T4TC.
I thought I had the coordinates and went to where I thought was GZ, but came across a locked gate. Behind it I did see something that matched the hint object, but couldn't get to it. Another day.
Picked the best time to find this cache with all the local residents away at the moment!! Non many muggles on a cold Sunday afternoon. Thanks for the cache!!
Had to wait for a gap between muggles. Came in from the back. Nice hiding spot. TFTC.
Awesome cache! Guessed immediately how to work it out, but needed hint, thanks, never used that software before. Yay for learning new stuff! TFTC
The technology was way beyond me! Very explicit directions meant it was a quick find. A devious sleight of hand out of sight of the young people exercising nearby, and dodging the smokers while I filled in the log. Happy days, I'm glad this one is out of the way. TFTC
Hooray! We picked this one up at lunchtime after the downpour had stopped. This one went waaay beyond my comfort zone. Could easily guess what was required, but having to download software and then learning how to use it was a challenge.
We had been told where it was (mixing business and pleasure, but which is which?) but it's more fun when you can DIY.

I really enjoyed solving this one and I must admit that I kept playing around with it once I had found the coordinates, a few cheap laughs. Nice easy find whilst out with the family. Thanks very much!

Solved this one ages ago but never got around to searching out the cache. Got it today using the old "fixing my bike" distraction technique.....

You definately need what you suggested to make any sense of the sound quick and easy once you got the coordinates well done
Nice to have found this one, as the answer has been lying around for ages having not bothered to check where the final was.

Had this one solved for ages and was suprised by its location, close to where I lived for two years.
Egad, some interesting noise there! Didn't take long t solve however, cache was an easy find.

The best time to approach this cache is on a wet and cold Saturday morning at about 0830. Not too many muggles about, in fact, I saw none.
Cheers for the cache.

Solved a while back, finally had a chance to pick it up. I ran decoy and MD did the pick, sign and drop. Cheers Gav [3765]
By the looks of it B solved this just over a year ago. Arrived today while the coast was clear and retrieved and returned the cache quickly with no concerns. TFTC
GPS was no use near GZ. I was searching quite a distance away when StreetWalkerNZ called out that he had found it - which was fitting as he had solved the puzzle too.
Recommend a search early on a weekend morning - only one student about when we searched.

#610 (1/4 in Dunedin). Decoded pretty easily a few weeks back. Area was pretty quiet before 9 on a Saturday morning. GPSr wasn't much help, but got there in spite of it.
Great puzzle.
Hard to retrieve during orientation week.
After 4 visits and several drive-bys, I was finally able to retrieve the cache at 6:30am on a Sunday morning. I did still have to wait for one person to leave.
Thanks.

A very quick and easy find (without the hint, of course) once I found the way in - which wasn't so easy for a non-local. Nice puzzle - good excuse for a practise with the program. Thanks.

Attempted this one after hours, so no problems with parking or muggles. Nice puzzle and an interesting spot for the final, not quite what we were expecting. Many thanks.

Decoded clue with the help of an audio-savvy friend some time ago, but have been slack about getting the actual cache. Had to pop out to the general vicinity so grabbed the cache at the same time. (If I had been alert, I could have grabbed it last week when I attended a GPS workshop at Surveying.)

If only all the puzzles were this easy [:p]. I must think like the author of this cache.
Quick to solve, quick to find. A few muggles around that weren't going away anywhere in a hurry...took master 5 with me as a 'photo opportunity' in the area to mask what we were doing...even he didnt see me take or replace the cache...asked me when we went back to the car if we weren't going to find this one. Think we stealthed it well.
TFTC - had fun doing it.

Instant puzzle recognition from Nofs jnr (middle) - and we knew how to do it with what was at hand. Nice little walk in the evening with ZCA - uplifted by jnr of that team. Nice cache, thanks.
Another pleasurable night time caching jaunt with the Nofs! Nice straight forward find after solving audio clip nicely done thanks!
Quickly solved the puzzle but my gps was a bit out and I had forgotten to update my pda so had no clues but quickly anyway. TFTC.
When I first seen this cache listed a comment “Grandalf†made about another of your caches (“Not another mystery cache sitting out in the middle of Dunedin harbour!! Yeah right!! Give us a break, mate.â€) came to mind, but I needn’t have been worried because I had one of those “aha†moments and it was all straightforward from there.
Great cache location, combining work and play for one of you at least.
“Muggle central†while we where there, people coming and going from the building, and residents of the nearby building outside enjoying the good weather.
Once again thanks.

Found the co-ords and then inputted them to GoogleEarth only to find that they were being shown as slap-bang in the middle of a building. At first I thought I must have made a mistake then realised what the building was and saw a tenuous link with GPS. Emailled a previous finder to check if I had the right co-ords but before getting a reply I found myself about to pass the spot so although I didn't have the co-ords with me I stopped to have a quick look. Only had to walk up the side of the building and an object that fitted with the hint was immediately obvious! So not quite slap-bang in the middle of the building. And, not entirely the "organisation" I thought (but very close.)
Another cache that wouldn't have been done if it wasn't for the master GSV for solving the cache.
I went along for the walk.

Lunchtime amble with The Bohemian and Hamsterman: little uncomfortable where the GPS first took us but it sorted itsels out shortly after that. Left compass - suitably to scale TFTC!
