Found: 11/10/2009 12:47 Smile. I just had to make this one harder for myself than it needed to be [B)]. I initially dismissed the ultimate cache location as being too obvious and wandered up and down for a few minutes looking for another location before returning to find the cache sitting there in clear view for an easy find Cool

I celebrated my find by having lunch inside Tom's Restaurant ... overcooked roast lamb with soggy vegetables just like grandma used to make [:p]

This is another of those caches that's been on my todo list for more years than I can count. Finally was in the area, AND had time to stop, AND had the blackberry to google the hint to work out where to go. Was fun to see a bunch of other people taking photos of the diner, same as I was Smile

#4196 GZ was definitely familiar when I walked up on it. Smile All of the great Seinfeld memories came flooding back when I caught sight of THE restaurant. Not being from Manhattan, I was glad to have someone point out where this place was. Thanks for showing it to me. TFTC

I won't be back to check on this until the end of the month, so I'm temporarily disabling on the basis of That Fedora Guy's log. Should have it back up and running by early July - apologies for the inconvenience.

Both attempts today were thwarted by muggles staring at me intently and lack of time to wait them out. Ah well, next time.

Never having seen more than 2 or 3 minutes of Seinfeld, I had to Google the clue. When I found that the restaurant had also featured in the song "Tom's Diner", though, I perked up, and went in and had lunch.

Thanks!
Nick, from France.
