I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
Hi hookedNZ
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.

Second time, found! I will replace the cointainer early, I live now close this place - there is no lid and a logbook is moist.
Needs maintenance, looked in to see the lid and instructions missing. Tipped it upside down to keep contents somewhat dry.
Took us a bit, and we needed the handy clues provided by others in the cache activity. Definitely need the iron 'ridges' to know you're at the right tree, we were fooled but the cinder blocks for a little bit

Really hard to find, Dad had to help me and it was tricky to walk through the ivy. TFTC
Tricky to find, need to be an iron-man to find this cache. Hope you like cabbage. Corrugations if you find this!
After many a search, Master 10 finally mastered this one. So it's still there in good condition, the spot is well hidden TFGF
Bit of a hunt for this one finally spotted clues helped, another Onslow Fisherman loved his placements tftc
Not able to see the Clutha from GZ. Overgrown with ivy, hint about bricks could not see them. But spotted the different levels and surprised to find quickly. It could have been a long search otherwise! tftc
Found with StreetWalkerNZ on day 5 of our extended Easter break in Central Otago. Today we are travelling south to Roxburgh, via Roxburgh village and Roxburgh East Rd, then back to Clyde again via SH8.
After a very nice lunch at a nearby establishment, we went for a walk to this cache. Rather overgrown track - if we were using the right one, that is. Found the cabbage tree, but I think we were at the wrong level as the cache was quickly found at SW's feet. Now to find our way out of this jungle! TFTC.

#16991. Find a path of sorts and followed it to a cabbage tree. Hmmm; looks like we are on the wrong level. Oh well, time to look around at GL, and there was the cache. TFTC.
*All good here. Recommend good shoes, don't recommend . . . . . jandals. **Carnival 3pt***

19 Jan 17 Found Had passed this one by on first forays into Roxy last year opting for the park'n'grabs. Taking advantage of some respite care days I headed for the hills and this one was at the top of the list. Reading previous logs I knew there wouldn't be much of a path to follow so just headed in the direction of the hints which were wery well camo'd. Was expecting a gabion wall? going by Jim's description or even bricks for that matter buttt noooo found something else and after picking my way down over the obstacle put me hand in the first spot I tried and pulled out the noice big cache 1Lt 2012 replacement. Didn't see any archways, sooo maybe the ivy and periwinkle claimed it back. SL, threw in some swag and grabbed the goods in big PVC baggy. Followed my nose out into daylight and wider open spaces and turned around and the track disappeared out of sight in the overgrowth behind me. Glad this one has finally been found and will live on as a great hide for determined hunters. TFTC Jim, all is well.

Is there any way we can get this path back up and running? It's a shame the path is so overgrown.
Now this one is hard in my perspective finally found it though thanks sadly I forgot a pen
We spent the better part of 15 minutes on this one before conceding defeat. It seems to be an overgrown tip site with a lot of sharp scrubby growth.
Had a good look on our way to Alexandria with no luck so decided to have one more look on the way home from Alexandria with a little hint soon had cache in hand sl and returned.
Very over grown
After A early morning start to pick up the younger geo Kids at a camp.
A road trip was in order .
So off we go let,s see where we end up . Annielin in the navigators seat calling the shots with a let's go this way and then let's go that.
A in order nice and dry

Perseverance and a little hint pays off.
Beware this is an overgrown area and not too much fun...
Plenty of scratches to doctor!
On the way back home to collect geokids from a camp... it's been great! .. adult time!!!
Sitting in the navigator's seat, telling downsouthinv where to go, what more could a girl ask for!!

This is about the 3rd try of this. Have read clues, logs and have decided that i am not a fan of this one. Overgrown dumping site is more apt.
This was hard Because the D and T ratings are now way too low I'll put my tuppence worth in for the record CO to remove please if it is out of order Go through the gate turn left for 10m then head downhill to cabbage tree The ridges are terraces with corrugated aluminium retaining walls The hint applies if you are standing at base of wall Pity the place is such a dumping ground these days TFTC
Took the high road but access didn’t seem right so sought a low road via the pools. Nope, that didn’t seem right either. Back tracked and found an approach we’d missed before. Bashed and found our way through the felled weeds. Eventually located the right area, typically the youngest proudly laid hands on the cache first. Both kiwitrecker1 and I departed, both with many scratches and a broken shirt for me....full commitment! TFTC
A quick park and grab on the way home from a weekend in Cromwell. I think I went the wrong way to get this one but found it anyway. Easy find TFTC
As approached area thought it was someones private spot until walked all the way around the GZ. Alot of plants down as clearning work underway so the pavers if they exist was too far below foot to confirm they were still there.
Three pairs of eye took ages and hopefully the hiding spot is not next for the chop.

Second time lucky for this one but also spent twice as long looking! GPS on phone all over the show but this time we found the ridges and ventured down. Was a little higher than chest height but after searching the whole way along to no avail was just about to give up (again) but one last look head high and BINGO! All safe and sound but co-ords are a good 10 or so metres out. TFTC
Ended up here by mistake, took a wrong turn, so might as well find the cache. Thanks
Was easy the little woman said. "Follow your nose". Ok, found a path? and the ridges? and stuck my hand in the first place and had big con in hand in no time. SL and dropped some swag and a freshener in. Returned the way I came and turned around and lost sight of the trail again. TFTC
Es it's a did not find30 mins three of us in wild goeth I believe it's not there
No bricks any where. Ivy has obscured what might have been nice retaining walls. I think these are what you call ridges. A challenging find as I came at the area from town and had to find the walkway.
I seemed almostto complete this one in reverse. I walked through the arch and beside the gate along the growth to the cabbage tree, climbed over the ridges to the ledge and then found the cache. As I had no clue where I was I just retraced my path back again. TFTC #7605
Lovely walk down the track, through the forestry and then up through the gate but no luck in any direction. Couldn't get to GZ because of the overgrowth according to the gps. Thanks for the mini adventure though.
This was quite mission and probably the atea has altered since it was placed. Today. , being autumn. , there were just leaves everywhere and if there is a briccccck path. It is well and truly covered, The Cabbage tree is now also rather camouflaged. And this made us look Else where. But finally I located it. Getting to the correct track is also quite a mission. But we came up trumps. I think the terrain level may need altering now. To a 2.5. thank you for the cache.
Found with haydnseek. The river was up today, and some of the track was flooded upstream, but not near the cache. I searched some pretty awful places before haydnseek found it in an easier location. Still, we reckon this should be a terrain 2.5 or 3, so be warned!
Once we were on the right track the cache was a relatively easy find. Great spot for a cache, TFTC!!
GPS dropped close to cache but the given clue helped. We exchanged the beetle with a mini rubix cube. Thank you for creating such a wonderful fun thing for our family to do.
A bit of a hard find, we went the most difficult way humanly possible. Very over grown but lots of fun. TFTC
Took a bit of finding. Phone was not overly accurate. But got there in the end.
Finally found after messing about for a bit. Thanks Jim. TFTC. No pen but have a photo of log. Will upload this later if required as only have a limited Internet connection.
The secret garden is a bit overgrown now but still a nice place to visit. Found with Aoraki Sheep.
A forgotten corner of Roxburgh - thanks for bringing us here. Found with debsnz
Tricky find. Keep walking off track. There is no pencil but penny is there. Great to see
River Town (Roxburgh, Central Otago) was transferred from Onslow Fisherman to user hooked00
This took me a while to find. Cabbage tree? I didn't know what one looked like. Than I thought cabbage palm and soon found the correct one. Cache was found at ground level. An amazing secret garden. As happened in the children's story, this garden needs work to reveal its past glory. I like places like this. TFTC.
Took a bit of getting there but quickly found the cache once we found the right tree! TFTC
Had to read previous logs and hint to find. Like others approached from belie and took a bit to spot correct tree amongst the overgrowth. Right under my nose when approaching from below. Very quiet here today. TFTC
I am yet to find some bricks to stand on but a prolonged search eventually had me linking up with the other part of our search party ... still searching. A more intense search uncovered some terraceing and eventually the cache which was sitting at ground level.
This one proved to be very challenging for us. Fluffyduck38 took the top approach and we took the bottom approach and we both came up with nothing. So we re-gathered and started again. I found the neglected archway and gate to walk through and did eventually find an appropriate tree. The junior dakotacat actually found the cache down by her feet but I guess if we had been down further the clue would of made more sense. TFTC it was fun.
The Geo trail got me there from the road. What a cool spot for a cache.
Thanks for placing this cache!
Thanks for placing this cache!
I decided the weather was a bit too iffy for a walk today, plus time was against me, so after a quick recce I abandoned this one.
This one had been baffled for a moment, but then signal improved and WHAM. Nice to see these size containers! TFTC
After arriving quite late into Alexandra last night and then being up until 2am logging and chatting it was a much slower start for the West Australians today.
Heading now towards Dunedin for the Mega.
An interesting, if not terrifying drive for us today. With the temperature getting down to 4degrees and being in a very windy stretch of road during 20minutes of hail it is a day we won't be forgetting in a hurry.
The road has been very busy today and we have missed a few caches that we thought we might stop at as there has been nowhere to pull over. No such problems here.
This was a bit of an epic for us. Initially as has become the norm for this section of our trip, the Chauffeur (Mr Felix) stayed in the car.
Well Mrs Felix and MM valiantly fought our way into the garden. Then we couldn't agree on a GZ. After referring to the hint we were completely lost. Soon enough Mr Felix arrived and wanted to know what the problem was??
Gave him the hint and he goes here?? Well NO as he was 10metres away but it was to lead us to the cache within a few minutes. Cache signed and what do you know, the heavens opened again and it was pouring with rain.
