Very nice spot for a geocache! Great views! Contents are wet and logbook is full, I attach a photo proof as find.
Cache was pretty easy. I didn't find it immediately but after some minutes found it!!!!
Our first cache! So close to where we stay for the snow season Alpine Adventist Village!
14:31on this day we wanted to visit mt kosciuszko, but the weather voted against this plan - heavy rain/snow during the night and in the morning and -10 degrees. we are not equipped for such conditions, so we made replacement plan and found some caches around jindabyne.thanks for the cache.
Its a very exciting day today, first snow of the season. We were having coffee in Jindabyne when everyone starting taking videos, rain and white rain! Thredbo had good covering of snow.Given it was still raining we went for a schnapp tasting at Wildbrumbies before caching.Another great view from the top. Thanks wilga for creating and placing this cache.
On a road trip to attend Capital Geobash Mega and see many different sights along the way. Today we are looking around Jindabyne and caching with 2beez.Not much happening today at Jindabyne International Airport Thanks wilga for creating for us all to enjoy. A great view from here. ...................................................Are you ready to nominate in the **2023 Victorian Cache of the Year Awards**? Visited it during 28-days geotrip to Australia, N.Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Am.Samoa, Fr.Polynesia with Marci, Ch. Sometimes we logged as "MT" or "Jonea" or "MTCh". Thanks for showing nice caches and places. MT-Jonea from Brno city in Czechia EU. Ll, full logbook
Wow what a view. Found a spot left on some paper and signed, log books very full. TFTC
Found with deshadybear! Drove up the steep hill and did a U-turn at the top so we could safely park off the road on the other side.A quick ascent up the steep slope & search around the rocks revealed the cache. The container is quite brittle and will need replacing to keep this going for many years to come.A great lookout of the town / lake, and an interesting little airport!TFTC
Thanks for the cache. Nice spot for little kids to watch the planes and helicopters take off.
Quick find in the dark to finish off the day.A few cars followed us and checked in on us, I think they live locally and don't know that there is a cache here. I guess Jindabyne is one of those communities where everyone knows everyone when you start driving down local streets. Thanks for the cache!
Looked like a learner pilot in a helicopter going through some drills, was fun to watch
Homebound after spending a week fishing in the high country, then down along the Sapphire coast. I decided to go home via Jindabyne this time as I've never been that way. A steep road to park on! A great view of Jindabyne.TFTC!
Escaping from the kids and trying to get the remaining caches close to Jindabyne. This was a nice easy find. TFTC!
Last find for the day, after another amazing day of exploring the Cooma/Jindabyne area.
Fair distance up a steep hill overlooking the township of Jindabyne.
Bit of rock climbing in the dark.
You had two jobs TBS.
Put drinks in to cool and grab both our head torches..

After completing the excellent adv lab cache series here in Jindabyne we tried to grab as many traditional caches before we ran out of daylight having left our torches back at the accommodation. We have searched for so many caches in rocks this Easter (something we don't have in the Shepparton area) and we finish our time in Jindabyne with another here. Great views from here just as it gets dark. Found without too much trouble. Nice hide TFTC
✓ Kurung thanks you for the cache!

Thanks for the cache! Finally stopping in Jindabyne we set out for a driving mission to find the best possible views and the what's to do of the town before sunset. We headed up to see the aviation, but were stunned by the view of Lake Jindabyne, I can see why this has so many FPs.

Finding some local caches after the Geocaching event in Jindabyne on the weekend, Quick find for this one, Log signed and returned back to its original location. Found quite a few lizards baking on the rocks in the sun. Which was funny because I was baking in the car a few minutes ago!
Thanks for the hide nathanr.au and wilga for the cache which looks to be in good working condition.

Find number two for this morning. Calypso62 and Rama497 have kindly invited me along on their tour of the area today and Calypso62 was keen to stop off here and perhaps see an A380 landing.
Sadly we didn't see any aircraft. Happily we found a cache. Right where you'd expect as you climb the steep slope. The log was signed (or stamped, if you have a stamp and remembered to bring it from the car) and we took another look at over the runways before travelling on.

I'm in Jindabyne with a group of geocachers for the GCNSW events. Today was a round trip from Jindabyne to Dalgety then to Berridale and back to Jindabyne, gathering caches along the way.
I was really hoping an A380 was scheduled to land today at this "International" airport but it was not to be. Great views though. Adding a FP.
Thanks for the geo-fun.

Found It!
A quick find. There were no 747s to be seen here today. Just a couple of light aircraft.

#3574 With a Virtual and an Event under my belt today, I felt the need to hold a physical cache. Ducked up here and located the cache with ease. Thanks for the placement nathanr.au and wilga.
Out and about again, after attending a event went out and grabbed some local caches.
Found a variety of hides and in different areas which made for a nice day. Generally quick finds today
Thanks to all the CO’s for the hides I found.

The night before we watched Jindabyne the movie in Jindabyne, realising we were staying at the very film location of the movie. The kids wanted a sleep in so I went off on a solo cache trip to this location - a spot with a view over 1000 above sea level. After a quick scramble I spotted the container from a certain angle and after a few photos I was back in the car. tftc
It was one of my first ones I have found it is good for beginners who are down here. Good job owners
Found a frail and weathered regular sized geocache with MAPs - Manning Area Pathfinders small group. Notepad is full, and could do with a new one.
Previously found myself in July 2009.
Thanks for another fun morning, found by Reef N at 0630.

Loving our time in the Snowys! Found this one on the way to the near by camp ground on a stunning, sunny, mountain day
Parked below rocks and scrambled up. Haydos101 found it while we were still looking! Lovely views. TFTC
I love searching rocky outcrops looking for snakes, whoops I mean containers. Log is full, needs maintenance. TFTC.

Found with smiles and giggles! It was certainly a fun one to find although probably needs some replacement . Also heads up you need to park in the other side of the road so you might have to drive a bit past it and do a u-turn to park tftc!!
Passing a day off the mountains on our snowboarding trip. Amazing find and really peaceful. Great little hiding spot.
Did a bit of a rock scramble till I spotted it.
Looks like a survivor, a bit battle scarred and faded.

Always great to find an old cache, and this one’s got great views as well! We located it after a brief search in an obvious spot. Container is showing its age but is OK, and logs are nice and dry. Thank you!
A break in the rain this evening so out and about. TW turned this one up in the second place he looked.
Awesome view of the lake from here.

In town for a few days hiking over the summer. Tried to find a few caches today, searched all over this area and no site of cache as described after looking for a while.
The cache owner is wilga, who is no longer Geocaching. As this cache is missing, and I can't take ownership of it, it will need to be archived. Sad, because it was a great cache.

Searched for 20 minutes and nothing. Loved the view of the airport.
