Logs
I am consolidating my hides, so as I can place new ones in the area, this one has had its day, thanks to all the past finders.
On a charity walk for heart kids. Our daughter has spent time in hospital with her heart condition so we come to raise money for heart kids like her. Quick grab while walking not too far off the track. TFTC
Nice quick one although the log was still a little damp and I didn’t have time to dry it. Had a nice walk through the Parklands. TFTC.
Found it! I can imagine the camo for this cache being much more effective in spring and summer
Cache had a pool of water at the bottom (luckily the log was stuck to the lid). Did my best to sign as I believe this is meant to be waterproof paper, but I think that makes it ink-proof too

TFTC container was waterlogged and log wet. Took photo of signed log as I fear the pen I had will rub off. No pencil in container. I placed container upside-down hopefully that will keep water out
Out here trialling the escooters with the fam.
Found with Gundrills, KnightJR and Pandagirl65 No pencil, so took a photo instead

Found it on my way home from uni today! It was a quiet afternoon with no juggles around, made for an easy find
The container was filled with water when I found it, I've emptied and replaced the cache but it may need a new container

Found with BrodyT2010 after very crowded Science Week event at Lizard Log with 'dinosaur'. TFTC - one of the container clips may be broken = wet log.
Cache #278
Wasn't able to sign as the pencil was not in the cache.
Did the moonrise loop and went for this cache as it was nearby. TFTC

Work brought us here and had some time before dark to find this. Light rain and saw 2 wallabies. TFTC
After arriving at gz and going in circles a couple of times I spotted the very good Camo and made the find. TFTC.
I have replaced the old lidless cache with a new container and log, all good to go.
Headed west today to grab a few caches before any further lockdown. There's something fake here. Third cache for the morning. TFTC RS.
Found with the Winter Walkers during the event. Lid missing but the snail cache guardian made sure all was okay inside. Log dry though. TFTC
#5119
Collected this one with a small group attending a nearby GCNSW event. Camo didn't quite blend in

A lovely walk with the Event group resulted in a quick find by the young man from Mosman.

"All the leaves are brown, and the sky is grey. I've been for a walk, on a winter's day..."
Out with a group from the GCNSW event, I blinked and missed the find on this one, although the camouflage was a bit hard to miss at this time of year.

What a wonderful park and with very few people. An easy find but the top of the container was broken. Still able to sign though
After a look around and thinking maybe it wasn’t there I spied what I thought could be and presto! Found it.
Cache is very wet and water logged though.
Great sunny day out with Contactpete, chech that out and unicornprincess418. Happy Easter!

A quick find. The cache lid is cracking. This needs a CO visit. TFTC Rainbow Spirit.
TFTC rainbow spirit, log a bit wet lid has a crack in it, but able to sign. Nice walk with the dog.
A lovely spot.
While walking around the parkland i only ran into 3 muggles the entire time.
Ive never been out here before. Its good to finally come and see the area.
I had the chance to go through a large collection of SOCOG olympic photographic slides earlier this year. A large group were taken during the construction of the Sydney Olympic venues and there were pages and pages of slides from the construction of the equestrian venue here at Horsley. Im probably the only person to have looked at them closely in the past 10-15 years.
Ive ran into another cache with this type of camo. I cant remember which it was but probably another Rainbow Spirit cache.
The container was a little damp inside but the log was still writable.
Thanks.

Located at 2:25pm. #909.
Finally had a clear path to the cache, all previous attempts had been thwarted by cyclists reposing and cavorting couples nearby GZ.
That’s some excellently effective camouflage. Much obliged Rainbow Spirit. Большое спасибо! תודה! L’chaim! TFTC!

We came to the park to celebrate a birthday, and in between formalities made a quick find. TFTC.
Quick find for me today after a short walk
The cache is in good condition Thanks Rainbow spirit for the placement Cheers

We visited the lizards log and had time to look for and find this one. First time in the Park and it is great.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Had an enjoyable walk and once at GZ the cache was found quickly and easily after a short search. The log was signed and then the cache was replaced as found. Thank you Rainbow Spirit for the cache.
To many trees and my cacher instinct wasn't working today. Did enjoy the walk though.
So hot today. This park is empty...
No one must read the rules cos there's a lolly pop in this cache. I took it out and put in some toys.

Easily found, but as others have reported the lid is broken and the container needs to be replaced.
#3350 - Cycled down from Blackers. The cache box desperately needs replacing. Quick find, then lunch on the nearby pathway log. Nice fast paths for cycling. Many thanks to the CO **Rainbow Spirit** for establishing and maintaining this local cache.
We were looking for an easy and large cache to drop off a travel bug we brought back from Tassie. Thanks for this one, Rainbow Spirit. We were in a big hurry today, but soon we will go back and find the others you have put around here. This is a great park, that we have driven past 100's of times, but never been in.
The lid of the container is very broken, though. we put it upside down and covered a bit to protect from rain.

Grabbed this one on the way home from the Pot of Gold series. The lid had cracked severely and the cache is full of sugar ants. The log was surprisingly dry, but this one needs some attention very soon.
Tftc. Quick find after a nice walk here. Lid needs to be replaced, as it's cracked.
#867 came to Western Sydney Parkland with the idea to get a few of the caches in the area but only ended up with one. Went to find this cache but ended up takjng the long way around by criss crossing the various tracks & completely confusing the tracks. Eventually getting to under 100 metres "yes, this is more like it" the GPSr started counting down until had to go bush with about 20 metres to go. A quick find once I got to GZ. Signed the log and replaced with a bit more cover. Thanks for the cache Rainbow Spirit.

Found the cache laying in the open. After signing Master Q and I replaced as best as we could work natural camo on top. Wonderful location:)

A small ways off the path and cache was soon in hand. Had to take out some sweets (they were looking worn) but cache is otherwise intact and was replaced with no issues.
Anyone trying to look for this cache will not find it at the stated co-ordinates.
This cache was muggled.
I moved it to, I think, a safe place, at the following co-ordinates: S 33° 51.219 E 150° 52.267.
So at the moment this is like a multi.
Have emailed C/O but had no response as yet.

This was very easy to find for me.
Cache has been muggled, container was out in the open and contents was strewn under the tree.
Gathered the log and all the bits and in the container, and hid it else where.
Very nice park, first time in here for me.

Nice find, with my mate who celebrated his 30th birthday at the park. First cache in a looooong time
20/08/15. 11:24 AM. Cache #2857. Streak day #424.
5th of 7 today, continuing my run through the JQ Cars series and some of the other caches in the area.
Once I had finished with Ramone, this was my next target, and I chose a straight line approach - crossing Cowpasture Rd, getting over the fence and wading through the long grass, despite a little worry about snakes.
It was a lot easier once I hit the path and then following that around the bends to GZ and its big obvious feature. That big obvious feature was what I searched first, but with nothing obvious, I circled out a bit, considering features that made sense with the hint. Soon enough, it showed up - well camouflaged! I opened, signed and replaced and then followed a more or less similar path back, not to Ramone but to Flo, where my car was parked. I then drove on to the next cache, "JQ's Miss Sally". TFTC.

Even though I'm trying to ration my finds in order to hit my 2000th cache on a specific date, I thought I could afford to grab four of the five caches in this section of the Western Sydney Parklands.
About 15,000 steps and four hours later, I had my four (left the one closest to the car park for another day). And only one wrong turn!
END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION
Left The Hademobile in the car park and walked along the nice concreted path to GZ. As I approached, a couple coming the other way had stopped quite close to where my iPhone was pointing. Luckily they moved on just as I arrived. We exchanged greetings and I made my way cachewards as they walked out of sight.
Excellent coordinates, but... Hmmm. Not exactly a typical Rainbow Spirit hide. Took away to complete signing duties, then back for the replace.
Well, there's plenty of natural camo here.
