As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.
The New container is nearly finished so i should have this one back within the next week.
Searched for a good 20minutes but didn't find it. New to Geo-caching so maybe I need a bit more practice. Used a proper GPS and the corrected coordinates but still could find it.
I searched by torchlight for a good 20 minutes but came up empty handed. I'll try again in daylight the next time I'm over this way.
You certainly went to a bit of trouble with this one.
This hide is as good as it gets.
Thanks Rigger64.

Back again today with my proper GPS system, couldn't find it again even though we were there about 20 minutes.
Shame if it's been muggled or gone missing, as it was a great place for a hide.
Checking back to see if it's still there soon

This was disappointment ....GPS put me at the base of some lying down trees...others there too - and then the gallery photos just now - have added to my disappointment. Was I where I was supposed to be> had a deadline so moved on to Up The Creek No 2.
Found on a cooler night for a run around the area while staying for a few days.
I did a few of this series while I could, but had to leave a few for later.
Another quick find then on the road again.

I'd parked as close as I could to this with out realising it.. after an abortive mission on "Game On" and a phone call to Krazy K Krew.. I set about finding this one.. soon after that I was back on the hunt for the GCA Bingo caches again.. thanks Rigger for this cache, coords are alot better today than they were a year or so ago when I DNF'd it... THanks for the cache and the walk.. Mmmm.. this creek needs a night cache.. Find # 3209
Found today at 2 pm after picking up a water tank with my brother-in-law. We parked the car in the street and while my brother-in-law tightened the ropes on the trailer, I told him I would run around the corner and look for this cache as we were only about 50-60 meters away from GZ. Off I went and cache was found within a minute. Signed log. TNLN. As I was walking back along the path to the car, I had my head down looking at my GPS, not really looking where I was going (which I never normally do). After about 10 steps I looked up and thought "that's a snake" crossing the path, directly in front of me :ie 4 steps away. I took 2 more steps towards it (still in la-la land) then hit the skids as said snake turned towards me, hissed, flattened it's head and puffed it's cheeks out. Not a happy little camper at all! I took 2 very quick steps backwards and just stood still, cursing myself for not being more observant and also ignoring the thought to run away in the other direction. The snake must have decided I was no longer a threat because after a few seconds (it felt like a lot longer) it then turned and went into the scrub opposite the houses. I watched it disappear and then I did the same.
I do not have face book so I don't know about the other snake reports, only what has been mentioned in the previous logs. I do know that this snake was about 5-6 feet long and I believe it was a Brown snake. I also think it would have bitten me if I had taken one step closer to it. I do not blame the snake, I blame myself for not being more observant in this type of environment at this time of the year. However I do think that if people are coming here that they keep a very close eye out and don't let the kids or dog go first. Thanks for the cache Rigger64.

I think our GPS must be off as we were all over the place. Been scared to dig around because of the mention of snakes! Tftc

Following the creek south to Frankston and then the train home.
Really starting to enjoy this trail, it's very reminiscent of Mel-Ray's locomotive letter-box trail in the UK which in that case follows a long linear country park that was formerly a railway line.
Enjoying the scenery and the bush path when as if by magic a tarmac'd path appears stage right, along which walked a seemingly "out of time" muggle dressed in a peculiar Goth-Punk ensemble - black studded jacket, spiked dog-collar, black platform boots and eyeliner!
Most curious!!
A quick pretend to phone a friend until the muggle had passed and then a poke with a stick to dislodge the cache. Sorry I'm still rattled by the snake story on facebook.
Log signed and cache replaced without any more muggle surprises - onwards to Frankston
Thanks for the cache and the experience.

This one took longer to find then it should have. Got muggles out twice before finally making the find. While quickly stopping my search upon hearing the same set of muggles return I notice something so was keen to return to see if my suspicions where correct. They were, so finally had cache in hand at last. Left blue marble. TFTC Rigger64 yet another of yours found today.

Find # 1384
Today I decided on a mini cache run in the Patterson Lakes, Carrum Downs and Seaford areas. It was a very overcast day, but luckily no rain about.
One of the main areas I wanted to go today was here and to find some of the "Up the Creek" Series. I left my car near the Seaford shops, jumped on the bike and off I went. I skipped number 1 and 2 due to muggles and continued on to this one. A nice easy find once my GPSr settled down.
Thanks to Rigger64 for the cache. TNLN.

Continuing my walk along the creek, my GPSr put me in a spot that turned out to be some distance east of cache. After some fruitless searching around, I had given up on it, and as I was making my way back, I thought to myself, "Well if I was hiding a cache around here, I'd put it somewhere like that....Oh!" I reset things, and the coords were back on track. Signed the log, and continued on my way towards Seaford.
Finally got a chance to look for this one. This was our third attempt at looking for this one. First time we had boys on bikes at GZ and second there were workmen laying a new path. Given the chance to look we found it pretty quickly. TFTC Rigger64
Wizwaz and I had just about given up on this one when as we were leaving I spotted what I thought could be a hide. Woohoo! I dont like dnfs lol. TNL blood to the mozzies. Thanks Rigger64 for the series of caches.

Found on a cold evening caching with Burge. Coordinates seemed to have us looking slightly east of where we eventually located the cache but it was altogether an easy find. TFTC.
Thanks for the update Rigger. A nice and easy find now. I saw it as I approached GZ. Or should I say I say the hide, not the cache itself. Thanks for the cache.

Well it was a good day for a bit of a Maintance run as i was near the area i thoght that i would pop in to see why it was DNF'd well it looks like there has been some track works around GZ & the cache would have become very exsposed & in turn Muggled by the workers.
There is a new container in a new place that shoud be more sucure & less likly to get Muggled.
The new Location is about 10m East of the origanal placment.

A very disappointing did not find. There was hardly anybody around on the way home tonight so I had plenty of time to look around. I followed the clue and followed the GPS, and followed the GPS all around for several meters. I also notice that this one hasn't had a find since Mid May when all the others around have.
Not as tricky as first thought, probably overthought this one at first!!!
After a quick hunt made the find, and thought ourselves silly for hunting as hard as we had!!

Found after I started to believe the GPS and not so much the clue.
The coords were excellent (reading 2m on my Oregon 550)
The cache was in good condition and nicely hidden.
Some muggles did spring me while I was logging it, but they didn't stop and I was well away from the hide.
They were more intent on each other, than what I was doing.
No swapping, thanks for the cache.

Hi
I'm not sure this one is still in the spot indicated. We looked everywhere and DNF. These caches need attention as this was the fourth searched for today - most are water logged, or have the log book missing - please see other logs.
Thanks for the series and would like feedback as to whether this cache is still present.

Well it was replaced 6 days after I couldn't find it, but it took me almost 2 years to get back here! Easy find this time. TNLN. Thanks for the spot!
Took a while to get this one as repairs were
carried out along the nearby bridge.
After a short search the cache was in my hands.

Had to wait for some muggles to leave. An easy find with winterlune while Ben and Vicki stayed in the canoes. Perhaps they were the smart ones as there were many LARGE mosquitoes trying to eat us. Thanks, Rigger64.

I wish I had walked these, or better yet had my bike. (except maybe for all the sand!) but the car needed to come with so it was pop in and out today. Had to wait for a few people to depart but not for long. Cheers!
