25-Nov-24
It's day seven of my 3-week bucket list road trip around South Island, and after heading over Arthurs Pass and down the West Coast, I'm now based in Wanaka for a couple of days. After solving this puzzle, I headed to GZ this morning and made a straightforward find. Thanks for creating this cache here for our enjoyment.

16-Nov-24
Thanks for the puzzle . Found with Rayzr. Tftmc

15-Nov-24
Nice puzzle and a nice quick find today found with ZEALOG thank you for bringing us here to find your cache

06-Nov-24
Day twenty two of our epic New Zealand Adventure with The Morris.Traveling between Queenstown and Fox Glacier.A lovely drive through the mountains and around the lakes, out to the West coast. Not big on the rules of that silly game, but muddled thru with some help.Today it was a quick find, but someone had put a heavy rock on top and cracked the lid.We put a small container with logsheet inside as the logbook was soaked. Thanks, Robmc.

06-Nov-24
Day 23 of our Enzed adventures with Robmc and today we drove from Queenstown to Fox, a long drive with a couple of stops along the way.Sadly we are just driving through this pretty town - time for a couple of caches, a loo and a coffee though. New freebie container placed inside the sistema - they hate rocks too. Thanks for contributing to our amazing holiday Tititea

23-Oct-24
Found with Gazania Rigens. A quick duck through the fence wire to find the good-sized but broken box. Will post a maintenance request as I note that this has been pointed out by most of the recent finders.TFTC

23-Oct-24
This is a popular cache, but the box is broken and the contents wet as a result.A new box and log would be great!

22-Oct-24
This puzzle made me realise that my knowledge of golf rules is not even rudimentary. But the internet helped, as usual. I suspect the fence at GZ is newer than the cache, but it's easy to climb through it. The cache could do with some TLC as it has a big crack in the lid which lets water in. TFTC!

30-Aug-24
Found, guessed C. About the third. Thx for the cache. Here for the Merino Muster XC ski race on tomorrow. Lid is cracked, contents sodden except for a small log paper.

28-Jun-24
Tftc Nice and easy to find with great golf clues!

22-Apr-24
Staying in Wanaka and there are some new caches, perfect, time to find them! Solved this cache quite a while ago but never got around to finding it. Solved this one online but guessed C. An easy find at the coordinates. CACHE OWNERThe cache is cracked and there is now water inside the cache and a wet logbook.Logbook signed at 15:13 Monday, 22th April. Cache number 339, TFTC!

09-Apr-24
Solved this one from home knowing this trip was coming up, much research required as the only form of golf I've played is mini! Thankfully the answers weren't too elusive. A nice easy find at GZ today, Bapgirl tells me she ran past it this morning, not knowing it was here. TFTC!

26-Mar-24
Solved this one before coming to Wanaka. The cache description says it is not on the golf course but there is a fence between the public walkway/cycleway and the cache so had to climb through the fence after the golfers moved on.

02-Mar-24
Dodgy getting over the fence into golf club We also acknowledge the traditional custodians of New Zealand / Aoteroa, as we geocache throughout their land while on holiday. Thanks for showing us this place, & for placing and maintaining this cache. The is our playground

We are on a trip in New Zealand. A wonderful country with a lot of (old )caches. There are too many caches so we limit ourselves to the (old) gems or where we happen to make a stop. Solved the riddle at home. Tot get the cache I had to jump over a fence N!mrod, thank you for this cache, regards xizat-NL. Take care, this hobby can develop to an addiction.

Not a golfer myself. But after a bit of googling I found all the answers. Except C, not sure how that is supposed to match a single digit. Anyway, was not an important number to get right. Quick find at gz thanks to the hint. Thanks for keeping this one alive for so long!

21-Dec-23
Solved this one some time ago and collected while in Wanaka. The cache was exactly where it should be. TFTC.

26-Nov-23
We had solved this one during one of our many lockdowns ahead of our trip to NZ. Quick find at GZ

24-Nov-23
I've had this one solved for a while so it feels good to sign it off today. I had just replaced the cache when I spotted a log on the ground - I guess it must've dropped out while I was opening it - anyway all fixed now and it must've been the old log that I signed. TFTC #20667

17-Nov-23

. 1613. 10:57 am. A quick solve using online resources and general knowledge. Quiet GZ and a quick find. TFT(golf)C.

02-Mar-22
Mrs SoBad should have given the puzzle to Sobad (a golfer) to solve. We got to her calculated GZ and, after a short look, realised something was not quite right. However, we did a wider search and spotted something else that seemed not quite right - except it was perfect if you are caching.
Thanks. Sorted out the error when we were back in our accomodation.

03-Feb-22
Good team work with kimbathelion solving the puzzle and finding the cache. TFTC

25-Dec-21
Thanks for the cache. Sunny central day!

27-Nov-21
I'm not a golfer, so this was not an easy puzzle for me and I had to guess C. I must have guessed correctly because the cache was a quick find at my calculated co-ords.
It was a little too exposed so have left it better covered. Good to finally turn this into a smile after solving the puzzle years ago. TFTC.

27-Nov-21

28-Sep-21

18-Sep-21
Being an avid golfer, this would have to be one of the easiest puzzle caches I've done and finished off with a nice quick find at GZ. Thanks for the puzzle and cache N!mrod.

Surprised to see this was hidden way back in 2008! I worked out the co-ords in anticipation of a visit to Wanaka in early December 2019 but flooding of the lake saw the trip called off. So have been sitting on the co-ords since. Quick find. TFTC.

25-Oct-20
Found with Hevic on a long weekend trip through Central and Northern Otago. We saw this one on the way back and I immediately went about solving it - there was one we weren't quite sure on but it didn't matter in the end as we were able to find the cache safe and sound (after finding a suitable location to park). No problems at all otherwise - cheers!

20-Oct-20
Thank you to my mate David who is a member of Wanaka Golf Club he assisted me with the clues. Cache log was too wet to sign.

19-Jun-20
Being a non golfer one of the parts of the puzzle about Matchpoint had me completely bewildered. However it turned out to be the third number so not too important. We found the cache easily in a recognisable geocaching spot. The logbook was manky and wet but I managed to sign it. The logbook needs maintenance. Sorry I didn't have a spare logbook or a plastic bag.

21-Mar-20
Enjoyed solving this one, once my brain engaged. Nice quick find on my way out of Wanaka. TFTC Big Grin

20-Mar-20
We were supposed to go to Melbourne this week but for obvious reasons that didn't happen. We did manage to sneak in a couple of days in Wanaka instead.

Yesterday we went up Roy's Peak Track (started at 5.30am - so much easier when you can't see what you've bitten off).

Today was time to head home, but not before a tiki-tour past Glendhu Bay and out to the Treble Cone access road.

This was the third of the day on the way back through Wanaka. I'd solved it *AGES* ago and wanted to sign the log while here. Unfortunately that wasn't easy as there was water (& mould) inside the container, and inside the (open) bag. The log book is drenched. I managed to find the recent page and my power tank pen worked on it but there is definitely maintenance needed here.

TFTC Tititea Cool
Find number 4172

20-Mar-20
This geocacher reported that there is a problem with this cache: there is water inside the container and the log is soaked. I wasn't travelling with my full caching kit so was unable to help, sorry.

05-Mar-20
I fumbled my way through the number bit and mixed up a couple of them. Having realised I had made a mistake and back to the hotel for a drink. I rearranged the numbers and got a warm feeling! Soon at the proper GZ for a quick find of a wet log. I managed to sign the log and then I replaced the cache container as it was discovered.
Thanks for placing this cache

It’s not often that we attempt and history cache so hawkeye was really pleased that his efforts in solving the puzzle before we left England resulted on a nice quick find at GZ. Thanks for adding fun to our holiday. Have a favourite point for providing a mystery puzzle we could actually cope with! SL. TFTC.

22-Feb-20
**Found on our February - March tour around the South Island. Logging back home in Auckland in Lockdown isolation**

Travelling and caching from Cromwell to the southern West Coast via Haast Pass. Sorted the puzzle from home, and very pleased to come and make the find today. The container was spotted as soon as we approached GZ. The cache was open and the contents scattered, with the logbook quite wet. Managed to add our initials and put it all back together as it should have been. Might need some TLC. TFTC

09-Jan-20
Wasn't sure about halfing a hole, but it was the least significant digit in the coords, so we were close enough. Fun one. Tftc.

28-Dec-19
Found. Full log to come. TFTC

07-Dec-19
We’ve had a barrel load of weather lately all over the region. With the road to Haast closed due to slips our cafe is also closed, so KrystalKath and I have come into Wanaka to escape our cabin-fever **and the rain.**
As I haven’t got out much lately **I just had to find a geocache,** and this one is it having solved the puzzle a while ago. *Had trouble with C but got there by a process of elimination.*
Easy find as per hint. And all dry, which is great. TFTC

04-Dec-18
Our 6th day in New Zealand we spent in Wanaka. It was raining hard in the morning and we feared, that we could not cope up with our plans. But then it cleared up and we went straight to the lake to see the famous Wanaka tree. After that we went to this puzzle cache. The puzzle itself we solved back home and even that we don't play golf it was easily solvable for us. At the cache site we could spot the location already from a distance. TFTC and greetings from Switzerland
