Please note that CO's of caches disabled during the current COVID19 crisis will be given some extra time to react, as it is acknowledged that CO's can't always just pop out and fix the issue. Caches where the cache owner does not currently feel safe to maintain will not be archived.
#What should you do:-#
- Should the regional Health and Victorian Government requirements allow it **AND** you feel it safe for you to maintain and address this cache now, please feel free to do so.

Judging by the rubbish around here seems like this place gets a fair bit of foot traffic. Might be why the cache seems to be missing.
Too noisy and a bit nasty.
We hunted around for a while and discovered human feaces and several syringes.
But no cache.
Thanks anyway allan_b. Maybe another day.
Chiefton!!!

Didn’t feel comfortable climbing through the bushes after spotting a couple of needles, thanks for your contribution, but I reckon this spot needs some council maintenance.
Out to pick up some caches to fill another day on the caching calendar. After doing the nearby "Electrical Alcatraz" we walked along the track to this cache. Mr Pooky made a relatively quick easy find. The walking path was deserted today. TFTC and bringing us to this walking track.
After completing a nearby multi, we made the short walk over to this one. Area is not great at the moment, with used syringes and other rubbish, so please be careful.
A nice quick find, thanks to the clue.
Thanks allan_b for the cache.

Quick stopped after shopping at Waverley Gardens. Very warm evening with 34 degrees at 7pm. Easy to find. Thanks allan_b for placing this cache.
A fair bit of junkie evidence around this area. And it is indeed very noisy. Thanks for the treasure however.
Stopped here with kids to cheer Mrs Bruce on midway through a training ride, and after she flashed past made this quick find. Log dry, but the bottom part of the container has broken. Thanks allan_b
Another Geogirl find on the four treasures we haven’t found on this stretch of Eastlink.
Love the look of these caches. Decided to stay faraway from the bush today due to the fires. Nice easy stroll along the eastlink trail
Find 1997
Continuing our ride we got to GZ. A quick search and the camo cache was spotted. Log signed and all back safe again.
Thanks

Quick easy find on a nice sunny afternoon thanks for the cache allan_b

Warm evening in Melbourne. Out with geokids to grab some caches in the area after dinner with the relatives. After a little bit searching in the wrong area we soon spotted it. Asked the older ground to grab but as usual the young geokid would want to be the first to open it hoping to find some surprise swappable. Log signed and replaced.

Dad and son are riding sections of the eastlink trail. This represented the turnaround point for today’s ride, but we had forgotten a pen. Used a stick to scratch a dodgy A onto the log roll. TFTC and the ride.
In the area tonight looking for the nearby multi, made the quick find here. And yes - it is noisy! Even at night! TFTC!

The weather finally came good and I headed out to grab a couple of caches and do some cache maintenance. I had no trouble finding this one. I did however have to evict around 10,001 ants from the cache. As the log was mush, I left a new log sheet in a new zip lock bag and brought the old log home to place in the rubbish.

Fairly easy find, but when we did find it it was absolutely covered with hundreds of ants, so sadly we wernt able to write in the log
Find #4383
Had a rare spare weekday afternoon and decided to target a few caches out east that I had either not attempted or DNF’d in the past. I parked on Halton Rd and headed towards the bike trail with the intention of grabbing three caches. Once I noted the numbers for the multi and a couple of recent DNFs I decided not to even try GZ and instead headed north to walk to this one. I’m sure putting a bike path along this corridor is a good idea and I know it’s well used but it certainly is noisy and desolate as the traffic whistles past on the other side of the fence. A quick search here turned up an ant covered cache and I had to continually shake them off as I retrieved the log and signed. Soon it was back in place and I was on my way further north. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache allan_b.

Went down there with my skateboard and looked around for 10 minutes before I found out it was exactly under where I put my board. Very fun.
I'd gotten a nearby cache in July last year and resisted the impulse to walk up to this one since I'd re-started my streak and I knew one day this would fill a day. Today was the day.
A reasonably quick drive down here and a short walk from the sporting oval. Lord I tell you this area is a prime candidate for a CITO. There must be a half dozen bags worth of crap around the oval alone. If this were a more picturesque location or I was a local I might even organise it but I'll leave it for those who use the area on a more regular basis.
As for the cache, yes the paper is wet but no it isn't wet from anything that's gross. I know this because not too long ago I had the misfortune of coming into contact with a cache that had been subject to the other treatment. Hand sanitiser is a wonderful thing!
So after having done the duties and replaced the cache (looks like the needles are gone and the area is clean) I walked back to the car and encountered two sets of family muggles on the short walk back. Glad I timed it right.

we went all the way deep into a bush and there is a lot of disgusting things in there and even needles. there is also a broken safe in there?? well anyway when we finally found it, it was all wet and we could not write on it. not cool
Took a group of students from Wooranna Park it was a bit hard had to use the hint. There needs to be a clean up as there was some needles and drugs in the area.
After finishing sport near here, the whole family was cold and exhausted but I wanted a cache to continue the streak and this seemed the closest and easiest.
Not an area we want to come back to with the smell, rubbish and broken safe.
Thanks anyway for the cache allan_b

Yes, yes it is noisy here! I couldn't find this but it was only a difficulty 1. The sun was going down, I'll blame the sun : )... Then I spotted it. The log book was mush so I used some note paper I had. Thank you
Our first success! Definitely helped by the hint in the end but we're thrilled to have found it regardless
A nice easy find but do be careful of passers you as you'll look suspicious rummaging in the bushes. Another multi cache nearby.
Found in the company of quiet1_au and GJMMelb. No idea what the seat was doing here, with suitcase. Q found the cache. TFTC
Found with Quiet1_au and Lochb. After taking the more difficult way in Q quickly found the cache. Thanks allan_b
GJMMelb
GJMMelb
An appropriately named cache (especially under the road bridge)! lochb and I followed G' of GJMMelb in to GZ along the sound barrier fence, but this probably wasn't the best route as it quickly became overgrown... Nevertheless, after trusting my GPS that maybe we'd overshot the mark (confirmed by the hint) I quickly spotted the familiar cache hide - TFTC
Found @9:35 AM #2118 Out with sedgwickdave and Ahomburg grabbing our 10km zone...
Chilly but actually very nice.
This was a great little hide

Managed a quick find this afternoon while making the most of some wintery weather and we didn't have to contend with any muggles passing by, on foot anyway. Thanks allan b for the cache.
Found it after a short search. All quiet apart from the traffic! But cold and a little moisture in the air so not really pleasant but it seems to keep the muggles away. SL and replaced. TFTC
Given the abundance of certain objects around GZ I probably never would have found this cache,if I hadn't accidentally glimpsed a very spoiler-y photo in the image gallery. I love this sort of cache container - TFTC!
This cache was a quick find when out riding. Just had to wait for the muggle to go past. Thanks allan_b for the cache.
Love the camouflaged for this cache. Going by the photos I was originally looking for something much larger. After a more thorough search down low I soon spotted the sneaky cache tftc
Found our first one
Totally forgot to bring a pen.
Total rookie mistake.

First cache with the whole family. Welcome GeoKid #1. A tricky spot but look hard enough and you'll find it. With SupermanKalel.
