Reperio 13:54Today I was headed over to Dubbo, and after making a stop in town, I headed out towards Dunedoo way on my journey back home to Orange. Bit of a stretch to grab this one, but the cache was in a good spot.Gratias president & 1st ladyAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV

Replaced the cache as it was in need desperately. Pretty spot. Road in great condition as it's been done up with tar.

21-Oct-23
As the last few caches have described, the cache container is in place but without a lid or a log sheet to sign. A very scenic location, well worth the stop. TFTC

12-Jun-23
A great cache idea. Unfortunately the lid and log are gone. Found with Robert1949. TFTC

12-Jun-23
No lid or log. Thanks for this cache idea

15-Jan-23
Found, cache cool but needs lid, ptherwise it is a bit defunct. Photo in place of log as no point leaving paper.

15-Jan-23
Out caching with Shufflehop for the day, it was hot and the road was full of potholes. We reached GZ and managed to find the cache, which has lost its lid and log book. Definitely maintenance required here, on both the road and the cache. We took photos as evidence of finding.

28-Nov-21
Good find thanks for the cache. Paper was very wet needs some care.

28-Nov-21
Found the cache but it was very wet needs some work on it

Cheers for the cache

This weekend is the return trip to Orange to take my daughter back to her mum's.
This cache was a it out of the way, but time wasn't an issue & it ticks a date hidden box for me. Cache was found easily enough, but the plastic bit fell out of the metal bit, so retrieval wasn't quite so straightforward. Hopefully it is more secure now. Cool hide. TFTC.

Sometimes you need to look for the unexpected. Once we stopped looking for the usual, we made the find. Thanks for placing this cache and maintaining it for so long.

27-Mar-21
This one took a little bit of searching. When we eventually found the cache, it was definitely not what we were expecting. Thanks for the cache. Very pretty here.

09-Feb-21
Unfortunately we were unable to locate this geocache. May need to be checked by the owner to see if it still there.

18-Oct-20
Very beautiful spot, I need to come back in winter when the weeds are not above my head, it is not very good for the geopoodle either.

19-Mar-20

After attending the Mega event we have come out to visit family & friends At Dubbo. We made time to do some caching in the local area. Happy & a muggle relative found three one day while the girls met for coffee.
I was told that this was worthy of a favourite point.
Thanks for placing this cache thewhitedoggang

Oh wow! This was so clever !
Even started to get hubby interested! Just as well this was 2nd of 17 caches
today!lol
What a pretty area and scenery - never been here even though we are only from Dubbo.
Cache was a little damp - I placed more paper and a new plastic bag. Thanks so much for this great find.

Thanks so much for this one!

Finally got around to coming out here (giving my youngest a few driving hours). Great hiding spot and container. Had to lean over a poor kangaroo that didn't make it across the bridge to get to it though. Thankfully it wasn't too old so no smell yet. TFTC and the trip out on these beaut country roads. Smile

13-Sep-15
Found it, didn't have a pen though. I'm assuming it's meant to have a metal lid??? But I could not find it anywhere. Might need to check this one Smile

22-Aug-15
Nice drive to find this one. Clever hide. Cache all good. Added new water proof paper.Tftc

22-Aug-15
Everything was wet in the plastic cache but completely dry in the metal cache…how weird. The log was saturated and unsignable so i put a bit of waterproof paper in there and dried contents as best as i could. Great cache thank u.

Cool cache
We loved your container, and clever placement.
This is by far, our best cache of the day !

22-Nov-14
Today we explored Wellington and surrounds using geocaching as a guide and completing 200 Ks for the day on very scenic roads.

Thought we had an easy extraction until the lid fell over th edge and adding to a memorable experience.

Thanks to all cache owners for placing and maintaining these caches for our enjoyment.

Found it

07-Oct-13
On our way home to Canberra from visiting niece in Weetaliba. So we had to make some stops along the way! This was one of them.

This one was a little out the way - but why not...

I really loved this container, and the hide! The log was a little damp, but I could still just write on it.
Also left my sticker.

Thanks P&1stL.

12-May-12
A lovely drive and a great location. No log book but still worth the little adventure.

08-Nov-11
Found beneath a stormy sky during an afternoon drive from Orange to Dunedoo. I was going to by-pass this cache as it was getting late but a 6km detour and the chance for find #900 was too tempting. Stood at GZ listening to the thunder overhead for a few minutes before dashing off for the last 65km to the pub. Many thanks president & 1st lady.

20-Oct-11
What a great spot. It didn't take long to locate the cache and then we stood around soaking in the atmosphere and taking photos. A curious fox came to check us out.

We didn't want to leave. TFTC.

25-Sep-11
Cosy spot

20-Aug-10
Tftc. Nice spot with lots of great hiding spots but this was an easy find. Log book missing, a little water inside cache. Lots of kangaroos at GZ! Cheers jkokavec and tree shru

08-Aug-10
Found with Tentacles, K ranger girl & M.O.T. (Mother of Tentacles).
I spotted it & flicked it down with a stick - Tentacles climbed all over K ranger girl to take the mark.
Took the Egyptian keyring & left a stretchy dinosaur.
Lovely spot - thanks guys.

08-Aug-10
Great spot for the cache couldn't have picked a better spot myself!!!
And the clue is very helpful but try and find the cache without it i think.
Anyways

I was bullied out of getting to catch it:) Clever hide, but be careful putting it back!

02-Jun-10
Finally made a detour while heading home to do this one. Geodaugther made the discovery and also found a friendly jo-blake (snake about 2 ft long). Collected TB and SL.
Thank you President & 1st Lady.

15-May-10
This was our 3996th overall find.

Found after spending the night camping at Ballimore with friends. A late start saw us come across this one. I dropped Shell off and turned around expecting her to have the cache in hand when I got back but she didn't. I walked along the bridge and spotted the cache, it was then I did my monkey impersonation, swung around the edge and grabbed the cache. I'm not sure about the extraction tool...

Thanks president & 1st lady for the cache.

Well, if it wasn't for the retrieval tool we wouldn't have got this one. A nice little cache container too.

16-Feb-09
Great spot for a cache. Found it on second attempt, this time I took a GPSr with me. Had to utilise a cache removal tool for extraction since I didn't have any kid cachers with me. TNLN
Thanx

Good one. I used a kiddy cacher to do the extraction.

Good condition.

Travel bug left.

12-Jul-08
Just a bridge of a location. With others, in the cold, but great time had by all.

12-Jul-08
We found this on the jaunt after the event, with quite a convoy, of whom only some listened to their navigators.

Thanx

12-Jul-08
I made it to where Mr Finn Crossed, although I have yet to find out why he chose this place or why he has his own crossing.

12-Jul-08
Found the cache easy with spot on coords, retrieval is another story ! with a caching tool that we found close by the cache was in hand, replacing it was precise placement required, Thanx for the cache, fine work.
Forgot to mention FTF.

12-Jul-08
Enjoyed the drive and finding this cache. Thanks for a great day.

12-Jul-08
