As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm temporarily archiving this to keep it from continually showing up in search lists. Just contact us when you have the cache repaired, and assuming it still meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Cache disabled, I have recently had knee surgery and cannot maintain this one for a few more weeks yet.
Cache is NOT in a conservation area (yet again!) and can be obtained by following the allowed paths.
Minda home own the land to the East of the dunes, and no-one owns the beaches .
The area in the middle is crown land, there is a zone from the beach to the top face of the front dune that is set aside for revegatation.
Actually it was 14 years ago, and has revegitated rather nicely.
So for those that want to send me email and the likes, about conservation areas blah blah...
Please have a look at the signs (pictured below)before doing so...
And if YOU decide you have to break the rules and go off the paths, i suggest not trying this cache.. It can be done SO easily without going off paths..

Dak’s log gave me the good oil on the approach direction and I was able to more or less make my way directly. As he said, the beach approach is fenced off, but the non-beach side has a dicey boundary with the Minda Home, which proclaims to be private property and no trespassing allowed. I sorta closed my eyes and pretended I wasn’t there . Piggy might like to investigate the suitability of this one. Perhaps it’s been fenced off SINCE it was placed? It certainly needs some maintenance. I’m not sure how it got so water logged, the container SHOULD have kept it dry (especially after visiting ‘Arkanoid’ later in the day and comparing it). TNLN
Found it and it was wet as the others had stated. Once again cleaned it up. TNLN
Found at 1245. I approached from the non-beach side. As others have noted, the contents are wet. Secondly, and even though the contents are in a the zip lock bag, they are also in poor condition. I wiped out the inside of the container. Please note that the area between the cache site and the beach is a conservation area. You are not allowed to approach from the beach side; there is a fence that declares the status of the area, and warns people to keep out. There is no fence on the non-beach side, so this is the way to go. TNLNSL. Eighth of sixteen Western Suburbs caches for the day. TFTC.
Found 11:15, what Big Red Expeditions said. The cache is still wet throughout.
TNLN, thanks Team Piggy.

Found this one quite easily, but we were concerned that these sand hills have been fenced off to prevent degradation. The cache was completely waterlogged, and needs to be cleaned out. Most of the camo has also come off.

Found at ~6:30pm after enjoying the sunset at the beach. Waited for a lone jogger to pass by before we trekked up the sandy hill.
Log book was a bit damp, so repackaged in new ziplock bag. Took nothing, left nothing.

Romana did this one with Abby (11 3/4) and Cassy (9 1/2). Had a blast roaming around. North way and oval are all we have to say! Abby actually found it, so did the swapping of items. Everything inside container a bit wet, shook out excess water. Items in plastic ok:) Took ant, left small plastic wizard hat, to ward off muggles;)
Found @ 4:45pm
Took Richards advice and come from the north and found an easy walk through the oval to reach the cache, found it easily. Cache was very wet we drained the water out not sure how the water got in, cache was sealed ok .
Took Nothing and Left nothing
Thanks Piggy

This one has been bugging me for a while because it's so close to home. So decided to take advantage of the horrible weather keeping the muggles off the beach. Found access from the northern end on tracks and a fairly easy find once I got there. Took a figurine of some sort and left a spider. Cheers Piggy!
Found tonight by TeamMinx ...
Stuck to a well used path, and didn't have any trouble finding it. Great location ... beautiful view, and there was a yacht race going on offshore, too!
THANKS Team Piggy!

[1650HR We tried to tackle this one from the West but came up against barrier (]Area has been fenced off and signed - Vegetation Rehibilitation[). Tried from other directions but came up against another barrier (]Minda Inc - Private Property[) May try this one another day ]

Found a nice and easy way into the cache on a most beautiful sunset evening. The cache is in good condition; TNLN. Cheers Team Piggy
Once again was left to feel slightly criminal in my behaviour. Signs and barriers read but ignored due to the over riding need to find the cache. Once the leg was over - there was no turning back. Whilst the man of the team walked to the shore line to distance himself from me, my criminal journey continued. Rescued Mr Walter West and will help him continue his journey westward. Left a packet of Tic Tacs. Thanks Team Piggy found at 2:30pm.
No need for a relocate. There is alternative ways in to the cache.
If people decide to go the "wrong" way, that is of their business, I don't agree with it personally.
It isn't the only way in, the cache can be obtained fully walking on the pre-made tracks that have been there for over 20 years.

The dark steed riding guest did it again....Agree re the natural impact of cachers on this one - perhaps a relocate? TGDU found gz via 'back way' (less impact). Took tic tacs & Dinosaur, left 2x travelling willburys toys. Loved watching kite surfers on the beach.
[:o)] Nice sunny day for a walk in nomans land. Just the right size for this here TB that I dropped off but he won't want to stay too long since he is headed for the west. All in all a easy find for a afternoon find. Thanks
Felt a bit naughty with all the fences and signs around but found it quite easily. I guess the fact that it was a coolish, windy day with not too many people on the beach we felt a bit conspicuous.
Took bracelet left dinosaur.

Found this one with no trouble at all. Nice day at the beach. Got told off for flying a kite on the beach? can you believe that. You are not allowed to fly kites at this beach, but you can swing hooks on a fishing line. Must be see a safer. took bead necklace and left a small car.
found it a bit waterlogged. as staying nearby took it and dried it out. not sure if we went in on the right way.
A really good little hike in the dunes on a fairly warm day.
Easy to find so was not long in the sun. This is my first find since getting to Australia from the USA. Took 0, left a beaded necklace. Many thanks for the Hide.[^]

Having to recall from human memory after memory card that we recorded our cache visits/swaps on became unreadable. Took helping hand, left something? Can't remember what.
Lovely walk along the beach.
Thanks for the hunt

We balked at the proliferation of "Trespassers Prosecuted" and "Please keep off the dunes for the sake of the poor plants" signs, but then found another way. Nice location, and beginners like me appreciate an easy-to-find cache with excellent sat lock . The log book indicates a muggle found it while maintaining the dunes - she signed the log, left a couple of bandaids, and put it back. Took caterpillar, left a hand (in case anyone needs one getting up the dunes).
Found this one at 14:50. Looks like the locals that Iratescientist mentioned may have found this one after him. Cache was out in the open, and the logbook had been signed. Cache contents were a little damp and sandy, but otherwise fine. Logbook was still in good condition.
I replaced the cache where I thought it should have been, and took nothing but photographs. Great location Piggy.

all the way from the netherlands to find this cache. it was good fun! just got back in the netherlands to log the cache, so don't know the exact date that we found it anymore, but that is to be found in the notebook. we were a bit anxious on whether we were allowed to go over the fence, but he, the things you do for a cache... nothing in, nothing out.
anyone ever found some in europe?
see yah! sabrina and tibbe

Nice one... Cheers Piggy!

This one was a bit nasty with all the signs showing no entry. Lucky it was a cold and windy day so no-one was on the beach but still had to wait until all was clear before we scaled the fence and the hill. Found pretty quickly with the contents quite dry. Took Launceston badge and left plastic bug. Thanks.
Needed some sea air, so Thomas, John and Emily went for a stroll along the sandy hills. Hint, you should enter from the rear so you don't have to disobey any signs. Emily wanted to take 50c. In exchange we left a band-aid and a Hungry Jack's voucher (even though it has expired they still take them). TeamAstro wishes they had bought their telescope so we could have looked at windsurfers and the ships on the horizon.
clear skies

Made a stop while in the area doing Half a Carton of Federation. Parked at one of their radio posts and took a nice walk along the beach. Decided to walk to the other end of the fence line and make a different approach. Cut across an oval and made my way onto a walking track where I soon found the container (ouch!). Some contents were water damaged - I removed a golf tee and gerbera hair tie, and left a nodding turtle. Continued along the path back to my car and came out where a sign said 'no entry'... oops!
Yes the hill was sandy. Nice and easy to find too. Managed to avoid the fences. Watched the parasailors for a while. Note – this cache is a little damp, and wouldn’t mind a dry out. My third Team Piggy cache for the day – thanks heaps. No swaps this time.
Forth cache of the day for me and 3 new friends.I'm here on holliday from the US.What a great way to get arond and see the sites.
Had a look at this today from the west. Couldnt see a way up with out encroaching on re-vegetation, and from the east were private roads only. Will have to try another approach....
Finally!! After a couple of shots at this one earlier in the year, and then waiting for refurbishment, we had despaired of ever finding this one. Refusing to be beaten by maccamob, we returned today to have another shot - success!!
Emptied out a little more water - took a table weight and left a christmas ornament.
Thanks Piggy!! Very happy to finally find this one.

Found by Mary & David at 1050. Surprised at how many beautiful joggers and doggers were about today. A bit worried about the fenced-off areas when we first approached GZ, but tried another approach which proved much more 'legal'. The cache was easy enough to find, and turned out to have a bit of water inside. Emptied out a good 15ml, but the loose contents were still a bit damp. The log itself was quite ok. Took pop-up dog, left a badge from Launceston. Piggy, you keep planting great caches, and we love thanking you for them.
Found at 19:45 with Gunnell and Barb.
Took nothing, left nothing. Contents were a bit damp, and boy was it windy!

Found at 1:15pm. Ventured into the dunes to find the cache, only to find it was in a conservation area so we had to plan out trek carefully. Ann spotted the cache. The contents were damp, but still a nice view and area. Left travel Bug Brumby Scully for Geedunk to reunite with.
PS: I also put in the 100 million-billion hell dollars ransom money for Prof Wriggly.

Starting off TB1788 - Thomas Coopers Travel Bug here before I release him in QLD.
At 5:40 this evening the sun had gone down but we were searching in the bushes for a little bucket of treasure which we found.
We sat for a while and watched the bad weather coming in from the sea but retreat we did before the rain could get him and me.
Left a ball
Took a pin
(Things are a bit damp in the bucket and we couldn't dry anything out.)

From Jonjaben travel bug dropped off here by Team GeoCoopers. We've had Jorjaben for a few weeks now. My sister's starting to get a little to attached to it, time to get it back on its way. So I popped around to the nearest cache to drop him off.
Found @ 15:15 by the Gun family. Put my hand into the thorns but felt a bit of a prick.
Left the Aqua Nosh fridge magnet - not a bad place to get seafood if you're ever in Lane Cove.
Took the stubby holder, which right now has a (non-geo) Coopers in it.

What a nice cache to visit on a sunny sunday morning. The cache lies safely under the thorns. The book is starting to get a little thin. Will need replacing after a few more visits.
This a wonderful location. Public but private. There is a great feeling standing on the hill watching the troops on the beach march by.

Our first cache! Found by David and Michelle, with a bit of help from Bruce (it was his GPS!). Took nothing and left nothing.
Looked around the bush for quite a while and found it as we were about to give up. Took the whoopee cushion and left 2 flower hair ties.

This was the fifth cache visit today. we signed the book and left a golf tee and 3 cents (a bit of a theme for today) we found it OK after a walk right around the bush... :-0
This one took us quite some time to find after arriving at the general area late in the morning. The cache was in good condition. Took nothing but left 20 cents. Nice warm weather, so took the opportunity to let our dog enjoy a swim.

Spring is here! What a lovely day 28C blue skies, a perfect day to stroll along the beach whilst the kids built sandcastles.
We parked about 1 km away (on purpose) and Dinesh and I took a stroll along the beach front admiring the birdlife that had come out for the first warmish day of spring.
We found the cache with no problems, in fact, it was bit too easy - this cache may not last long when summer sets in and the beaches get full. Kids will have no trouble finding this whilst exploring the dunes.
We logged our visit and exchanged the nifty screwdriver for the stress ball that seems to keep appearing in the local caches.

Had a bit of trouble as we were using Aus Geod '84 which was about 20 metres from where we should have been. When we couldn't find the cache we checked the coordinates and once we got them right it did not take long to find what we were looking for. It was out first find and even though it was wet and windy we thoroughly enjoyed it.
An easy find on a hot Saturday arvo. Took the piggy pic & and left a little book. Thanks gang
Found by Jeremy & Phil. A little easier to find in the day light (8:45am this time The GPS also gave us a significantly different location to the first visit in the dark. Took the lavalamp candle and left a toy necklace.
Saw this cache has just been put up. Entered the coords into the GPS to discover it was only a Km away from my house. Walked to the end of my street and down the beach for a few hundred metres. Searched the dunes in darkness (8:45pm)before deciding to come back later when it is daylight.
