I am moving out of the area soon so I will not to maintain any of my local caches including this one.
This is the 4th of 4 caches we didn't find today. [:(!]
[red]We spent quite some time here at around 1:32:00 PM, but we just couldn't locate your cache, so a DNF from us.

We found it back in 2013, however, helping friends today and we could not find it where we remembered it to be, so not sure if cache is safe and sound or missing?
This one took awhile as i wasnt keen on crawling through the mud .
Bloodredtigers had a look and got it in no time tftc

First find out of two we have searched for today! Found with LMS221689 and Squish_26
Introducing the family to this today. Granddaughter was keen to open it and see what was in it. TFTF.
Took a long time and just about to give up when my father who came along for the ride found it! Well hidden. Took army man left Lego brick eraser.
This one took daddy mouse from 5mice quite a while to locate. crawled around under the wooden structure for aboout 10 mins all the while checking the hint. Finally found after quite a while. Still there after the effects of Ccylone Monica. Thanks for the cache.
Nice 'n hot outside so I tried to stay near the treeline and cleared this area mostly on foot, if moving the cachemobile occasionally. A few river hops and lots of shady spots to explore.
Brain and body hot 'n tired by the time I rocked up here and it took a while to figure out my left and rights. The cache was well-hidden but eventually located near a post
TFTC Treking Trev!

After a 10 minute search finally found it. Took toy dinosaur and placed a baby. Tftc
My three month Brisbane adventure has started. Day 17, Redcliffe, third full day.
Mum's wanting to sort ... Two stories of the day per CO is enough.
No 9 of 16 today. Don't worry, Trev. The cache is still there. It was under the middle of the structure, just sitting there all exposed. I hid it again next to a post. Thanks for the cache, mate. Lovely spot. The dogs came on this one, and huddled under the structure in the cool.

On a map, this cache looked far enough out of town to expect something more rural and fitting of the cache name. As happens with urban expansion, was a bit of a rabbit warren getting to GZ through the new estate but nice to see there will still be some parkland to stroll through. Clue accurate enough to reveal container before arrow had chance to settle.
Accompanied by Geohusband - we need the exercise so left the Geomobile at home as location isn't too far from home and there are excellent paths to follow. Quickly located cache at GZ, left trinkets in tact. Good one for a pair of newbies. Disappointed that the Travel Bug has since disappeared - tracking history shows it was dropped off back in March?
This is a beautiful spot we will return to. We had no idea the walkway and platform existed and our littlest "borrowed" geocacher loved it here today. She was also very impressed with the enormous bunny someone had squashed into the swaps container- win/win Thanks for another cache and another lovely locale Treking Trev
A nice end to my birthday, stopping off at this lovely area to give the kids a play and make this easy find with them Logged and took travel bug - looking forward to relocating it far from here! TFTC
Found this one while on our morning walk. Thanks Treking Trev. Spots like this are hard to find but very beautiful.
Bit of a search before sending the short Knights in under to find. TFTC

Glad no one was around when this too short for her weight was looking for it and retrieving it. All in good order.
Found it Second time looking for this one (first time I hadn't ever found one before). This is my 5th. TFTC
I don't think this one is around anymore. Most likely it got washed away in the floods... let me know if I'm wrong!
Today's caching adventure took me out to the Burpengary Power Trail. Half way through the trail, I diverted to clean up all the caches in this area.
The paths here are a delight to ride on. Found my way to this one from CREEC, but just as I arrived the batteries in the GPS died. Made the find, as per the clue more by touch, than sight.
Some charged batteries into the GPS and off to the next. Seventeeth cache out of thirty eight finds for the day

Out and about on the bikes with teamdfl for a Friday binge day We made this one way too hard for ourselves, and searched for ages all over GZ before I eventually got the find Even the hint didn't help us TFTC, Treking Trev.
I think we made this one very complicated. The hint helped, but still left some decisions for our warped brains. We looked in an awful lot of wrong places before we figured it out
Now this is one nice looking Barn, and so many places for an Owl to hide in it.
For whatever reason I was struggling to make the hint work in any which way, so I was just really having a good look in all the possible spots. It did not take to long in the end to coax this Owl out, got him all sorted out and let him hang out back in the barn.

Now that Marco and I have both secured employment, we are back to caching on weekends. So we headed out today to find a few more south of where we live. This one took us a while with Marco crawling around under the structure. Even using the hint we had a bit of trouble with interpreting it. Eventually we spotted the cache. TNLNSL TFTC
This one took a lot longer than it should have . After searching for a while we checked the cache size and then readjusted our search, eventually came up with the goods. TNLNSL TFTC .
After spending the night caching with [purple]Nyssaflutterby[/purple], [maroon]Net88 [/maroon]and [navy]Captain Terror,[/navy] [navy]The Captain[/navy] and [purple]Nyss[/purple] decided to head home around midnight.
Since [maroon]Net88 [/maroon]and I were still keen to keep going, we continued on through till late morning clearing the area.

I had been caching since 9:30am with Nyssaflutterby, when we met up with Captain Terror after lunch. Around 2:30 Nyssa needed to go and pick up the kids from school so it was just the Captain and myself. At 9pm we met back up with Nyssa and we were also joined by egginthesky. At 12:30am Nyssa and the Captain decided it was time to head home so egginthesky and i decided to head north and clean up some more caches . We rocked up to GZ and started looking everywhere we could think of. Then suddenly i spotted it! Thanks for the cache
Found it while on holidays from alice springs. We were staying in the area visiting friends and thought we would do some caching. Cache is in good condition considering the amount of rain this area has had in the last few days.
This is my 2nd go @ this & there it is tucked away. lucky queen of egypt was with me I would be still looking ....The sad part was ..SOMEONE left a pair of old green men's undies in there ...not nice [pigs actually].....took them out & put in the nearby bin.....TFTC ...cache 502
This is my 50th yay!. Nice little spot good views and good easy find thanks.
my third of three geocaches today, my first three actually, did them all in the afternoon, its so exciting for the first time cant wait to find more
With a base near the Glass House Mountains we ventured out to get a few caches. An enjoyable assortment of hides and we enjoyed finding this one.
Thanks to Treking Trev.
Thanks to Treking Trev.
Found it tucked nicely away after a bit of a search. Found a Travel Bug (first one ever found) which will move on next weekend.
Had to get low & scratch about to find this cache.
I'm getting a little old & stiff to get into these tight places.
Thanks

My last day in Brisbane and again more great weather. I found this cache fairly easily. SL Left TB TFTC
Wishing miss teen was with us today to do the searching, would have suited her better

Out and about with my munchkins and new to caching, sister in law. She had found this cache just the other day, seeing as it was not far from her house, and was keen to watch me find it also. A quick look in the obvious spot and I had cache in hand.

Took a little bit more of a search. Cache's like these in the rain make it all the more important to bring small children to clamber under things . TFTC. Cheers Trev.
We found it!!! This was our very first geocaching adventure. We are still getting to grips with it all, but this was a good one to start with and we loved the experience.
I couldn't tell from the clue where the GZ would be as the platform can be approached from different angles so I did a full circuit before spotting it. Got a little dirty. If only I had a small child with me. Thanks Treking Trev
No barn owls today, even after sitting down for a while at this observation area. TFTH
what a pretty little place to find in the middle of all these new estates
very quiet
muggles from previous cache walking up the road as we leave
took 'frank beanatra'

4th of 8 finds at 1:04:00 PM.
I parked a long way from the GZ and at the GZ I took the longest possible way to the cache. I found it eventually but not until I had gotten well and truly dirty from crawling under the platform.
If I am recalling the correct cache it was a little damp but the logbook was still very signable as it wasn't very damp in comparison to the other stuff in the cache.
TFTC Treking Trev (for another cache).

Found my way into this suburbia area - eventually - and find #26 for the day awaited. I have no idea what LHR stands for, but a short hunt is all it took. Thanks Trev.
TFTC! Took nothing but left an eraser and jumping bean, replaced bag as was torn and damp.
Found it! Didn't take anything. Really nice spot that I hadn't seen before. Thanks.
Another find for the Dancing Queens.... We took travel bug VK6X7Z.. Left a giraffe head.
