Temporarily disabled so a check can be made on the cache. There seem to have been a few did not finds. Should be a pretty easy one.

12-Jun-10
We had a good look on both sides but nothing, maybe a check by the owner is needed?

02-May-10
Thanks for the challenge davidman, but there were just too many mosquitoes there when I went searching @ about 1400hrs
I will have another look when the weather is better.
I can't count the number of times that I have walked past here in years gone by and I never would have guessed that there was hidden treasure nearby.
I'll be back Wink

26-Apr-10
Spotted someone poking a stick about roughly where we needed to go, held back, took photos of the creek, the man then came toward us, uh-huh, gps in hand.....I asked if he found it....a very surprised look with a reply wondering if we knew what he was doing. That'll be a yep. Met 'tackle_head' on the job so we teamed up but to no avail. Re-read the logs etc but still nothing even with 3 sets of eyes & two gps'. Ah well.

Took the geocoin but nothing else.
Thanks for the hide

05-Feb-10
Had to get this cache as it was just around the corner from my appointment in Berwick. Park was quiet this morning due to the persistent drizzle. Short walk to GZ and cache was in hand. Double bags seem to be keeping things dry. TN L-Smiley heart thingy. Dropped in GC. Thanks davidman for the search.

17-01 20th find of the day at 20:18 and 817th find in total.
Saw this one was up and running again so we decided to have another crack today on the way past and came away with a nice easy find (well we did know where to look).
(''\(OoO)/'') TNLNSL, thanks davidman for the caching fun!

16-Jan-10
Had trouble putting it due to elderly dog walkers, but otherwise a fun cache. Watch out for prickles.

14-Jan-10
Cache replaced after some maintenance. New log book in cache. Old log book dried out and replaced. Cache now in heavy duty ziplock bags to help keep water and moisture out.

26-Nov-09
Temporarily disabled for maintenance as at 1600 hrs on 27.11.09
Expect to have it back up and running over the weekend
Apologies for any inconvenience

22-11 1st DNF of the day at 13:11
Had a quick look today in the pouring rain.
Except for the large & well trampled caching trail, we found nothing which is a bit surprising as it has been logged by everyone else as quite easy.

16-Nov-09
Found it at around 2145. Not an ideal time to be stumbling about the bush it must be pointed out. Anyway, the cache is badly water logged and the log is probably beyond salvage. Otherwise, TFTC.

Took vball clip, left badge of encouragement.

19-Oct-09
Found the cache quite easily. The lid had water in it, and when I opened the cache itself, it was almost completely full of water. Unfortunately, the log book was not protected from it, and the log book was thoroughly soaked.

I emptied all the water out of the container and the log bag, but the log itself needs a proper dry out. I was able to carefully write my name in the log, but the cache does need maintenance. Thanks to davidman for the cache.

Found it, the log was so wet.. Luck we have spare paper so wrote down this. TFTC

Thanks for the heads up on the log book being wet. We have had a lot of rain around here in the last week or so.
Will check cache, replace log and re-seal etc over the weekend.

Found @ 10:30. I was in the area for work today and made a deviation on the way back to the city to collect this one. Quick find. TFTC TNLNSL

20-Sep-09
This is a lovely piece of bushland and we enjoyed the walk. The cache unfortunately, was full of water, and we couldn't do too much about it. Emptied it out of course, but the logbook was soaking. I think you'll possibly have to replace it. Some maintenance is required at least. Thanks for showing us the area, it was a gorgeous day, and we did appreciate it. TFTC.

Find # 380 @ 16:00
Nice easy one. TNLNSL TFTC

25-Jul-09
An easy find once the GPSr settled down - the trees certainly don't make it easy. The cache was quite soggy. Perhaps it is not sufficiently water-tight?

26-Jun-09
The co-ordinates led us to a lovely area we haven't really explored, and we are glad we visited this cache today. GZ is quiet lovely. After a little confusion (I think our GPSr was struggling with the tree coverage) we found where we were supposed to be, and after 2 or 3 looks in this spot, finally sighted the cache. A really great hide, but would recommend cache owner updates the container as the contents were quite wet (due to rain and location). Thanks for leading us to this lovely spot, and thanks for this very well hidden cache.

Found by edmil & maddie. This was our 2nd of two finds for the day. We hadn't been out caching in 4 months and despite me still being a bit down with the flu we decided to go out for a bit of a drive and grab a couple of caches. We nabbed this one fairly quickly enjoying the tranquil surroundings not another person in the vicinity - probably all at the market. we signed the log but made no swap. Thanks for the cache neat little hide keep them coming.

Despite getting rather down and dirty, and using the clue, I couldn't find it. I found where I thought it might have been, but I'm not sure. There were plenty of muggles to avoid, out walking their dogs. Thanks anyway.

Found 05/04/09 @ 18:00
A quick walk from a multi nearby soon had me at GZ. Had to return to the car a grab a torch in the failing light and cache was found with in 15 seconds on my return. I was a little concerned about the container from the description but I think it will stand the test of time.
A great cache for your first davidman, thanks for the hide.

I amost gave up on this one when I couldn't find a track in. Off in the distance I caught sight of a fence, wandered down to explore and then found the track I was after. I misread the clue and spent time looking in the wrong place before a bit of cache trail lead me to the cache.

A beautiful area, well done on your first cache!

Cheers,

After a nice walk through the bushland this one was quickly to hand. Saw some suspiciously geocaching looking people as I headed in, saw Jyeterra had signed the log today, and found them chatting to the other big and 2 littles who were waiting in the car when I came out. It was good to see you again and always nice to catch up with fellow cachers.

Quick find with Rhiannon & Brett (#2 for them)...
Nice short walk for the n00bs.
On the way back, saw someone walking past us with the ol' caching look about them and found it was 2big2little so had a quick chat Mrs2. Was good to see them again as they were our First Cache's FTF when we started... Nice to see you again.

1495. Nobody anywhere around in general at this time of the morning so plenty of time for the find and to appreciate the area. Even better with the overnight rain and drizzle today.

TFTC and the stretch.

There were a heap of cars for an equestrian event just up the road but no-one here. A nice little stroll to an obvious gz and a quick find, thanks davidman. Left a jeep TB.

Upon approach to GZ, we noticed that the area looked very familiar - some later research then revealed that we’d found a cache (now archived) about 25m away from your GZ back in March '07. Anyway, a quick look at where the GPSr arrow was pointing, and we soon had your cache in hand! TNLN & SL at 3:25pm. Thanks davidman for the cache - we enjoyed the search.

27-Sep-08
A nice nightime walk along the trails took us to GZ. The GPS reading was spot on so the find was quick. Plenty of water flowing here tonight.
Thanks, Robmc.

27-Sep-08
We tried to get four caches in this area and this was the only one we were successfull with so pleased with the find. Didn't expect the terrain to be quite so rugged so I'm glad we found the track and the bridges in the dark. The creek is flowing pretty well too. Probably would have appreciated the area a little more in daylight but still glad to visit and make the find.
Many thanks Davidman

I am familiar with this park having visited sometime ago and today was ideal weather for another shortish walk.
The cache was easily found where we expected it to be but it was prudent for one of us to be on muggle alert on this busy day.
Thanks

Found by Bob at 1530

Just a short haul from Davidman's 2nd, and I was at this lovely little stretch of bushland - which I remember quite well from a couple of earlier caches which were hidden nearby (one within sight of this new one too!). I hadn't expected to have muggle trouble here - but a nearby school must have just finished classes for the day and there were dribs and drabs of school kids wandering along the track. Luckily, they were well-spaced and I was able to duck in and retrieve the cache, log it and then return it while the path was clear Smile.

TNLN

Thanks Davidman for bringing me back to this lovely spot.

We found our 1st Davidman cache at 1:40pm as the 2nd of 10 on our Full Lap of the Dandenongs tour with Pprass. We have cached here before but last time we approached from the other side. The now archived Da Bugs cache "Akoonah Matata" was only 27m away from this point and was only our 82nd find (now over 2100 finds ago). Thanks for the cache from D & H B-A.

Found at 1.45pm GAFF5. On a pleasant Sunday afternoon cruising and caching with Rabbitto.
The Bell birds in this area are really taking over - and they are so load as well! A short walk into the reserve and a likely hiding spot was pointed out on our approach. Thanks davidman for bringing us back to this area - it's been about 4 years since we were last here.

This was the my second cache experience with Next!.We found the cache at 13:51.We also met the Swaggies and stopped for a chat. I had been in this park before and didn't know this part existed. A worthwhile trip to discover a great location. TNLNSL. Thanks for the cache

13:51 was the time this cache was found! This cache hunt was completed on another geocaching expedition with AgentMax86. Met The Swaggies on the way in...they had just completed this cache...we were hot on their tails. Good hide. Enjoyed the walk in and discovering this gem location.

Logged @ 1330 hrs.
On our way to do some maintenance at one of our caches, we took a slight detour to pickup a couple of new caches that had popped up in our area. On the way there we saw two blokes acting suspiciously at another cache sight and we caught up with Next & friend and had a quick chat. Met them again at this one as well, just as we were leaving. A familiar area to us (Hi to Da-Bugs) and the cache was found soon after.
Took nothing, Left crafty house peg, signed log.
Thanks davidman for your first cache.

We saw this one come up a few days ago but this was the first opportunity that we have had to come out during daylight. We spent a lot of time in this park in our youth and certainly have noticed a lot of changes since then. The GPSr led us directly to the cache for a nice easy find and we were able to replace the cache and get back to the car before the next shower of rain came.
Thanks Davidman for the cache

I got from work and decided to check my email first before the Coffee, this was not the normal routine and it is usually coffee then email.
I noticed this cache had popped up and the dilema started. Do I make coffee then enter the coordinates then go and get the cache or do I go and get the cache then come home for coffee. Ah the dilema!
By this log I decided to get this cache and I was familiar with the location. Mystery Inc777 came along for the ride and in no time we arrived at the cache location.
The coordinates were spot on and in no time we arrived at a familiar spot for geocachers and the cache was found and another FTF for the coffee crunchers was logged.
Many thanks to Davidman for your first cache the coordinates were spot on making it an easy find, well done.
TNLN.
