Having found this one back in May, I took my Cubs to find it as we hiked nearby this evening. The munzie was still there, but no sign of the cache. I suspect it may have ... well ... you know ... gone ... The Cubs were full of weird and wonderful ideas about what might have happened to it!
This cache is gone. I could replace it, but since there's already a munzee there, and munzee is a superior game for an urban setting like this, I'll let it go. RIP Harrison Ford!
Had a good thorough search around the coordinates, and went and poked around below where it could have dropped to.
Did not find.
Sad face.
Looked for this one the previous week as well with friends.

After dropping off Datruk from our travels up to nufrat's farewell I decided to grab a few more before heading back home.
This one was first on my list, and another of the GEGP's to cross off my list.
After a short hunt, I had the cache and one of the many munzee's nearby ticked off.

The dilemma, once one has been insane enough to attend WWFM-X at 3am, is whether or not to return home to bed, or to take the opportunity, while awake, to pick up a few caches on the way home. I did the latter. This was the sixth I picked up. Cool hiding spot TFTC!
Went looking for this one on a previous (hot) day. The gps sent me about 6 meters south. So I ended up wandering around the "gata". This time however I got the most accurate result I have ever had... The gps took me about 6cm from gz. I could not believe it! Well actually I spotted the 'game' first. Then I realised I had left my pen at home. Grrr. I took a photo instead as proof, but now I'm not sure how to upload it...?
A little tricky due to accuracy of GPS units...Had to look very closely both sides of the path and lots of hiding places. Was getting worried I may not find it.
I'm just starting on the remaining GEGP caches nowadays I know they've been out in the wild for ages, but I haven't been over this way very often. I liked the location of this one, a cool industrial and edgy bit of artwork to look at. Now I understand what that multi further south is referring to!
Night hunting with Baluke and Penguin Chick. After working out where we should begin our hunt, some found the cache and signed log after avoiding the dog walkers. TFTC
Needs some camouflage, hopefully the beautiful vista from on high helps to keep the muggles looking out rather than down. and theres a piggyback munzee at GZ too.
Found with Just In E. Took us a little while to locate, at least i did not waste time looking too low. TFTC.
quick find after some shopping was a quick find as there weren't many people nice little area tftc
Grabbed on a GEO Bike ride out and about.. An enjoyable day and it felt to be out on the bike.. I got 4 for the day, It's not about the numbers.. Its great to grab a cache which I rekon I've driven past 50times or more.. Thanks Quasar for the cache and for the exercise.. Find #3346
It's taken me a long time to get around to revisiting this one. Last time it was dark and in the middle of a storm so far from ideal conditions (apart from the lack of muggles who were all too sensible to be out in it like I was!....) This evening, discovering I had left my GPS at home I had to tackle one I knew, and this was the first closest to where I was. GZ was relatively quiet, just a couple of dog walkers and later cyclists passing below so I was able to search undisturbed and soon located the cache (although a metre of so away from where I had expected it to be) TFTC
Found at 10:50
Living in the area since the freeway only came to Doncaster, I can appreciate how Eastlink has helped travel out this aside of town. I decided the other day that I should try to pick up the rest of the GEGP caches before they start disappearing.
In the area today I dropped in to try my luck at #6 and #7. #6 was a bust with what looked like a primary school class doing some kind of environmental work near the creek but access here was fine with just the odd cyclist to avoid.
Coords had me a bit away but a read of the hint and a systematic search soon had the cache in hand. Signed and replaced I took the time to have a good look at the bridge structure and the views of the creek. Thanks Quasar for making me stop and have a look around.

Took longer than it should have to find this one, as a couple decided to stop near GZ. Thanks Quasar
Great cache came a few weeks ago walking our dogs no luck. Went back tonight and FOUND IT!
I searched high and low for this one and kept returning to the same spot but it seemed impossible to extract, but inspecting it closely I can't see how it couldn't be the cache. It's stuck tight and I couldn't budge it a millimetre. I'm slightly hesitant at logging a NM on something I'm not completely sure is the cache but please write to me Quasar for more details and to confirm what I've found is really the cache if it might save you a trip out of your way...
Nice straight forward find after lunch nearby with the kids at Maccas. Found in between showers of rain. SL TFTC

Out hunting for plasticwith daughter, while grand-daughter in care. Thanks Quasar for the cache.
Decided to run out to Ringwood and do a few caches in the area. Nice quick easy find by GeoDaughther while GeoSon went and waved at the traffic gettting trucks to toot their horns. GeoDaughter ran to join him leaving GeoDad the task of replacing the cache carefully back in its hiding spot. TFTC.
07/05/2012 22:21 I have decided to collect the GEGP series as I have several under my belt now and this one was the next cab off the rank. As I expected the GPS wanted me to park on the Toll road so I checked the maps and carefully avoided such silliness and parked next to the overpass. I crossed to GZ and after only a minutes or so the cache was in hand. This one is reminiscent of one of mine in the CBD. A quick sign and I replaced the baggy with something smaller as the lid wouldn't shut.

Found it. Not quite where we expected it to be, but close. Had to dissuade Ali from dismantling the bridge!!!! Just because she could. Last find of a good days caching.
Got sidetracked on this one and was tempted to start dismantling the bridge once a loose bolt or two was discovered. Thought better of dismantling bridge (or should I say was discouraged from doing so...) and continued to hunt for the cache. Found it, although not on the side where I thought it should be. The plastic bag makes it hard to close the cache...Any hoo...thanks for the cache, I've never ventured to this part of the land before! **Note - did not dismantle bridge, still structurally stable...I think...
Last time through this area the track was very busy - nice day equals many bicycles. Today, a wet day so no-one was around. Found after a short search.
Found this one at 1215 in pouring rain after getting out of car and stepping into a flooded gutter - ooooh!!! TFTC

Out on a bit of a night run and while in the area, I stopped by this one for a look around.
I made my way towards GZ then went away and then came back to go up and then I was there, a short search and the cache was found, I just had to clear all the spider webs away so I could grab it.
Thanks to Quasar for this cache.
Another of this series down, slowly getting through them.

This member of the GEGP has been sitting undone for way too long. So today, even though the geokids were a little ratty, I stopped to try for it. Having found a few magnetic-minties on structure like this I had some idea of how to search which was good because the kids were not going to give me more than a minute or two. Fortunately the coords were spot on and the tin was soon in my hand. The contents were warm and dry so I stamped the log, bundled everything back, returned the cache and headed off before the kids started channeling satan. TFTC Quasar, just the type of caching adventure I was after today.
I think we over-thought this one...took us a bit of searching but an excellent hiding place when we did find it TFTC
My son and my first outing and find. Thought we'd start off local and easy. My son (7) disappointed not a treasure chest!!!! Upwards and onwards! Took the 2c and replaced with english 20p. (:D)
New container in place and ready to go. Log sheet and bag inside is a tight fit. Please ensure it's well inside and the lid closed before returning to its spot.
Nice quick find. The log was too wet to use. Left two sheets of paper as temporary log and dried out the poly bag and container as best as possible. However, cache needs attention. Managed to retrieve and return cache without dropping it. Thanks for the cache.
On the wrong level for starters, then thought about it, a bit more searching, then bingo! Cache in hand signed log and off to the next.
Found whilst out on a Super Saturday Cache Chase with Brother & Sister-In -Law, Moosetash... Decided to post some smilies around the Eastern Suburbs today.
A nice spot with a fairly easy find.

The kids and I met up with a friend and her daughter for a ride along the Eastlink trail. As I have pretty much done all the other caches along here I was pretty keen to sidetrack from our route to grab this cache, which I had not yet attempted. We arrived at the structure, and while the girls rested with a drink and muchies in hand, the geoson and I walked the ramps to start out search. It was not long after we started that I made the discovery of a cache neatly tucked in its hiding spot. I can now log the find on this one and with much pleasure too. Thanks Quasar for taking me here.
Cold evening and surprised by a couple of muggles. Left a gold coin that I found last night near a muggled cache.
A quick find on the way out with Kmace. Didnt know there was 2 bridges with hideous steel art supports here. Took singapore dollar left 2c
Found with irontoad at 1200. I drive under this bridge most days but had never realised this was here until the cache brought me here. Incredible steel structure! Left 2c coin and took singapore dollar coin. TFTC Quasar.
Log and info sheet replaced, in watertight bag. Please ensure that the bag and cache lid are resealed when you've finished with it.
Found at 3:50pm. Container is wet inside, tried to dry it out, but didnt have anything good enough.
As people have said before, there is no log inside, so we could not log at cache.
Thanks

Still very wet, especially after all this rain we have had!!! Needs log book as the old one is not to be seen, TFTC.
I was wondering what my hand had been in, but since other people have reported it (phew), I might not have much to worry about.
Eww! Ditto what the last few people said. Maybe somewhere on this structure is more protected from the elements?
Log is beyond it I'm afraid. nice hide and interesting location though! I watched the morning run into the city and it was incredible! TFTC
Found at 1745. Great Hide & Quick find. I love the structures on the bridges over eastlink!! LOG IS WET & GOING MOULDY - needs replacing. SL but was difficult!! TFTC
Clearing out our 10km radius this morning. Geoson navigated us well through the back streets. Quick find when gps settled. Log soaking wet in bag and not able to sign. TFTC
Log saturated and needs replacing, sorry didn't have anything in car to help out Quaser.
No luck. iPhone gps is too vague. Looked under feet on both sides, near the water... Found nothing except a guy living in a tent under the bridge. Could the next person to find this tiny cache log a new hint to help?
Sorry, I think we just got lost on Eastlink!!! We were on a run along GEGP with Tank47. This one is in a quiet little area except for the many cyclists who passed over, under and along. We discovered a damp cache that could easily be much damper if there was an accident! TNLNSL Thanks for the experience Quasar.
Found by Peter & Marian at 1437hrs whilst on an afternoon GEGP caching run with KI Bug.
Third cache, another short stroll and cache was in hand, took Aldi trolley token, left "Latrobe City" lapel/hat pin.
The ladies are hinting it is coffee time and Eastland is sooo close .
Log is very wet and difficult to write on. Thanks for the cache Quasar.
