Enjoy The Silence Munster, Ireland

While planning our trip to Ireland we looked up the Burren on Google Street View and it looked amazing. So we then set out to find the exact road that we'd looked at on Google... and did find it! What a wonderful, fascinating, unique place. A very enjoyable drive through the Burren, even on a grey and rainy day. Would have loved to do the loop walk, but places to go and so few hours of daylight meant we only had time for short caches. We settled for this one. It was a nice walk up the hill looking at the cool rock formations, and the view was great. At GZ the cache was a bit tricky to find; we thought we'd have to uncover every rock in the place, but only took a few minutes of searching, which was a relief. Thanks for the cache in this awesome place!

The silence is sweet, and the view unrivalled. As fine a cache as ever witnessed.

Beside the muggels on the viewing point here you realy could enjoy the silience, watch the stones and plants .

Great view from here and silence till the tourist bus arrived!

Enjoy the silence!!! When the tourist bus arrived there was no more silence - just bad! But we had some of luck and the bus didn'n not long stay. After a few minutes we could enjoy the silence and the view again.

Wow, I came up here at around 22:00 on a beautiful evening after completing the Curran loop and boy was it worth it as the sun was setting against the burren hills.

An amazing view I had never seen before at an ideal time. I took a photo but the phone camera doesn't do it justice.

Alex, was this the one which you reckoned was your favorite hide when I asked you at your meet in May?, now I know why..

First cache of the day. Nice warm up for the loop walk that was to come. Quick find despite the possible hiding places off inch perfect coordinates.

I'm sure that the view is fantastic;
but today with all this fog and wind we had no luck,
but we found the box quickly (all in good shape)

Actually we wanted to do the carron-loop, but there were a Car-Ralley. So we made this one. Without Depeche Mode music but many Cows we´d enjoyed the silence.
