Disappointed to not have found this one. Solved the puzzle easily enough and at GZ I found the said wall and leaf litter ( plus plenty of other litter!) But couldn't unearth the container. It's been 11 months since the last find so I wonder if the cache has gone AWOL it if it's just buried far beneath the sheok needles. I'll keep my eye on this one anyway.
Down on the South side of the river for a ride and to grab some new and forgotten caches.
We had a DNF here before when the cache was missing, so thought to give it another go now. Went to the sign again, did the maths but always came up with a strange solution, so decided to go back to the place where we had searched before. After a couple of minutes I came up with the container, yay!

Found on our first ever 2-wheel crossing of the Narrows Bridge, followed by our first-ever ride along the river to Canning Bridge.
A very pleasant spot to stop and gather information. The first lot of calculations gave a distance and direction which we guessed was wrong. So I went back to Maths 101 and came up with something more plausible.
Rode back there, looked for the cache as per the description, and I was very happy to make the find.
TFTC blingg!

While she did the math, I input the co-ords, then said redo the math as it's on the other side of the FW, redid and spot on.

On the way to work, and the extra sunlight means I can grab so early morning caches. any excuse.
A nice stroll slim the freeway this morning as the cyclists wizzed past me. Never been along this stretch before.
Grabbed the clues needed and performed my maths only to come up with a location in someone's backyard That doesn't look right.
The numbers from the board were right, my maths was right, what was I missing ?
I reread the description and noticed ONE little detail I missed. Reworked it and "that looks better"[^]
On arrival at GZ I was concerned to see beer bottles and spray cans littered. What else would I find ????
Luckily for me (and thanks for the hint), just a cache. Log signed, rehid, and on my way. As I reentered the path, I was greeted by a unicycle. And I was impressed with the wheel cyclists I saw today, let alone one wheel (pic attached)
Thanks blingg for your cache Milyu. We found it on 2014-10-24 at 6:30 am. This was my find number 2113

I had a go for this one a couple of years ago and came up empty. I was in the area today while my wife was enjoying a high tea. I checked the place where I went last time and still no luck so I went back to get the answers again. After doing the calculations twice (I made a mistake the first time) I ended back where I originally looking. I looked at the clue which I don't think was there last time and after about 10 minutes spotted it and another quick search found the cache. I am glad the hint was there.

Yay! Success at last. This time we read the hint and took a son along and found it easily. TFTC This goes towards 7 souvenirs of August.
Now that the new cycleway is open and after consulting the CO, I was able to make a fairly quick find after following the new coordinates and hint. TFTC
Found it this morning after confirming details with CO. I like caches where I learn stuff. Thanks for that. The new path along the feeway looks sensational. Long overdue. Hopefully it is all completed soon. Thanks for cache Bryan, and for the extra hint you included in the updated description. I could have been there all morning scraping around.
I was unable to access the cycleway due to the bridges and cycleway access being forbidden.
Evidently some roadworks for a few weeks.

I sat down to work out the co ords for this Multi and it was an interesting read about the area...TFTC
I decided to go for a ride along the river to Canning Bridge and back to close out some previous DNFs and find some newer caches. I first attempted this cache about a year ago but couldn't find it, it may have been missing at the time. But today I searched further along from where I had looked previously and found this cache very well hidden, but rather quickly this time. TFTC blingg.
I had a go at this one but I got my maths wrong somewhere as GZ ended up being in someone's house.... Nevermind.... I don't seem very good at multis!
Thanks blingg
Thanks blingg
Cache appears to have gone awol , replaced with a new one (oruvaq gur jnyy haqre qrnq ornapu )
Doh! Failed again. This time (with the help of the CO) I had the right coordinates but only found a nice pair of jeans. I think it will have to be 3rd time lucky for me.
Thought we were going to like this enough for a favourite point, but could not find it. Looks like we need a hint.
Doh! I wrote all the info on my arm for the cache and forgot to write it on paper when I got home... Doh!!!!!! Looks like another trip back!!! [:(!]
I don't think I got the right coordinates despite checking and checking! It took me to the otherside of the freeway! Will send an email off to the CO shortly...
Found the sign with all the numbers, first failed with the tricky "G", but then everything seemed to be all right. Found the wall with the leaves, but no success with the cache itself.
Will watch the cache.

TFTC been looking at this one for ages, got the required info a few months back
And with a bit of help from the CO, went back to the cycle path to claim the find.
And with a bit of help from the CO, went back to the cycle path to claim the find.
Grabbed the required information on the way to a couple of other caches, then stopped by on the way back to the car. Took longer than necessary to locate the cache as my GPS didn't seem to want to get any nearer than 4 meters from any spot. TFTC
This cache has been sitting there on our to do list for so long, at last, an opportunity to complete it. Thanx blingg.
Gathered all the information, did some 'maths' and had the coords in my GPS in no time.

Thanks blingg for restoring, rejuvenating & reacquainting us with this cache. I was disappointed when they changed the signs & we lost a vital clue. Took about 10 mins to locate the box once I was on site.
Made for a pleasant lunchtime caching - better than sitting in a dingy lunch room.
Thanks again.

After 15 mins of madly excavating pine needles from the base of the wall, I stopped for a moment and twitched a stick on top...and the cache revealed itself. How frustrating! Anyway, thanks for the cache, I enjoyed it
Had final coordiante for ages - Today I used my bicycle on the northern river so beautiful area... and make it today - finally find the container with help... Interesting about Milyu - multi. Signed the log. Thanks Blingg.
The sign boards on which this multi are based have been renewed in recent weeks. The clue for item 'G' (at least) is now no longer on the boards. I will email the cache owner with photos.
Also with 3 DNFs in a row maybe the final location should be checked as well.
Cheers,

Looked every where. Those pesky pineedles are sooo annoying. They prick scratch and bight!
Frustrating...
Pretty sure we were in the correct place but could nopt find anything... Will have to come back again some time.

Today was a day allocated to closing out some of those caches that have been a thorn in the side for quite some time. Today, on our fourth visit the elusive container was discovered. I'll put some extra sparkle on this smiley as it has been a blot for far too long!. TFTC blingg. Cache still in good condition.
[:(!] Did a lunch time bike ride with Aksay.in to get this cache after solving the coordinates the day before, after arriving at GZ, we had the cache in hand after searching for several minutes TNLNSL TFTC
Torrential rain... thunder storms, lightening.... a perfect time for a day out Geocaching.
Was totally wet through by the time we reached this one, so was pleased we made short work
of the hunt.
Lovely spot this cycle path, just need to close down the freeway to get some peace and quiet.

Out on a caching run in the Storm today with The Machman. Rain, Lightning & Thunder can't stop us! Moved 10 froggies too (GCA race). Geez glad to cross this one off the to do list!
After my previous DNF here I was back in the area with some puzzle solutions and decided to have another bash here. This time I was armed with my trusty poker, thinking I would be searching for a while (again) but luck was on my side today and on 2nd prod the goodies were revealed. Phew!

Almost didn't find it under all the needles but it was right there in the first spot we looked. Thanks.
Met the CO the other day and he assured me that the cache was still there so walked out of the city down to GZ and found the cache after a small search.
Thanks for the cache. Met blingg on the way back so he transported me back to the city.

Mickeydv lead the way but technically I found the cache. This is a great stretch of riverfront and it's great to see it preserved. Thanks for the cache blingg.
Oh Dear a Not Found log! [xx(] Not sure if it's just that Mrs Felix has been awake all night doing night shift! Although reading the previous logs it has been a while since this cache has been found! We will return hopefully someone can log a find or maintenance run before we return. TFTC anyways blingg. Such a glorious day to visit the Swan River.
We are sure we cracked the code / puzzle successfully but we couldn't find the cache - we looked and looked - might try again on another one of our bike adventures.
Coordinates were easy to find today, but no luck at the cache site. Looks like a great place to hide a cache, but it must have been muggled. . . .

No luck for me today. The calculation was easy, the final location also quite good, but I searched for 30 minutes and found nothing. The whole area is covered with pine tree (I guess) needles. So I removed everything, but could not find the cache.
There were some obvious spots like y-piece of tree but nothing.
Hope the cache is still alive and I was only too blind to find it.
Anyway, will watch this and may try again before I will fly back to Germany end of October.
Cheers

Staying around the corner. Wandered across the freeway and down the shore. Easy find. Took Geogem, dropped off Ladybug TB. Thanks.
Solved 3 months ago when I didn't realise the geocaching app on iPhone could do waypoints. Came by the other day and found an empty mint tin, but realised when I got home that TBs had been swapped here so checked with blingg if cache is something larger. Returned today for a quick find. TFTC!

some disturbing feelings on this one. rare migratory bird habitat followed by scrounging around in the undergrowth...hmmm. took a while to grab it & we were on the verge of giving up. coords maybe a little out too although tricky in this spot. anyway bitching over - cache found. end
GRRRRR this one took me ages to locate the cache. Obviously found it eventually but I'm sure I moved about a tonne of pine needles before I did find it! Think I spent about 15-20 searching, but worth it cos now I get another smiley and huge satisfaction! TFTC

Wife was shopping nearby so I decided to duck off and look for this one. I thought the walk would be a lot longer than it was so it came into my posession quite quickly at 12.10pm. Thanks Blingg. TNLNSL.

Don't know why we have avoided this cache as our Perth digs are very close by. We parked at the suggested area and walked the less than 300 mts to the info board. Recorded all the data, did the math and had the cache in hand soon after and back to the warmth of the geo mobile in under 15 minutes. Nice one blingg.
Picked up the info from the board, did the math and headed for the GZ - could not get to the cache as the site was occupied by and elderly female muggle - playing the bagpipes, scared me right off.
Nice idea. We cycle past these information boards on the way to work but never stopped to have a read. And yes we learnt something. The bag the container is in is not water tight anymore and was flooded. However, the container contents is currently dry.
Working out the final co-ords wa easy enough. Finding the cache was a bit more difficult. Certainly like finding a needle in a hay stack. L: The fastest Moose GC, TN. TFTH.
After my first try on April 17th, I gave it another try today. Digged through the whole haystack and was about to resign, when I sat down and thougt "Where would I hide it?" and bang - there it was... about 5-6 metres from the calculated coordinates. Thank you blingg for checking! No trade.
After all the DNFs, I thought I'd better check this one out
It's still there, safe and sound, hiding like a needle in a haystack.
It's still there, safe and sound, hiding like a needle in a haystack.
Don't know if this cache is still out there. I tried my luck, worked out the coordinates (which were plausible) but wasn't able to find anything there. Maybe the owner should have a look?
Bugger, couldn't find it. I think we did the math right but nothing. Will have have to go back and try again another time.
Bugger! I think I was too concoius of all the people riding to work along the cycle way. I collected all the clues okay but with time limits and a plane to catch I ended up bailing and recording a DNF. Bloody annoying because this should have been relatively easy... Still what goes around comes around. I found the two micros nearby in very quick time so you take the good with the bad.
Easy find on a rather hot day.

Enjoyed learning a bit about the region's flora and fauna. Worked out the final co-ords and we thought they must be wrong as we were expecting a much longer walk (we hadn't read muzza's log entry at this stage). Rechecked all the info and the calculations and all appeared correct so off we went for a quick find in a good hiding spot that's well-shielded from the many muggles using the path. Dropped of a Diabetes TB. Thanks Blingg for an enjoyable multi.
Nice little walk along waterfront. It was interesting to learn something about the flora and fauna of the area. I took the geocoin to stargate.
after a nice but a little lenghty walk from the city, I got to the info! After an interesting read, I had the data I needed. Yippee, the cache is back toward the city - the way I needed to go! Didn't take long to find. Very most pleasant at sunset! Thanks!
I liked learning about the area and completing the puzzle.
I also found a $10 note while looking for the cache. Guess caching does pay off

Also the cache is fairly damp and a few items have rusted inside.

Took two attempts to find ( first time, I just left with the coordinates and did not read carefully about the 'quiz' to work out the real coordinates ( Dohhhh ! ).
So Jen came with me this time and we found it after about 5 minutes.
Great little spot, Don't forget the camera to take some shots of birds if you are into Ornithology !

This was about the closest cache to where I was staying for a week in Perth. I attempted it last night, but thought I had miscalculated the wrong co-ordinates for GZ. I had parked across the other side of the freeway and taken the short walk across the overpass. After collecting the required answers, my GZ was only about 100 metres away. The cache notes says to expect a walk of around 1.5 km.s. With my GZ, it would only be around a 400 metre walk - something was wrong.
I recalculated, rechecked my answers, but still came up with the same answer. I had a quick look at my GZ, but with no confidence in my calculations, I only spent a couple of minutes looking in obvious places. Back at my unit, I sent an email to the owner asking where I'd gone wrong. Turns out that I was 100% correct. Maybe the 1.5 km.s was a deliberate red herring.
Armed with the new information and confidence, I returned the next night and was able to quickly locate the cache. My thanks to Blingg for the cache, and for the quick response to my cry for help.

Don't ride a bike, so came by car and walked over the nearby overpass. This was a tricky little multi - spent quite a while tracking down one of the answers. And then onto the cache - which was quite wet inside. Logbook remained dry inside its bag though. Took the Gnome TB whose tag was starting to go rusty. Thanks for another waterside hunt, Blingg.
