Another older cache ticked off a long list!Wandered in and was surprised to find the end of the path. Hunted around the obvious spots without joy then refreshed and read the last couple of logs. Oh no!Went back to one place I'd searched and dug in for one last shot and bingo! Just buried under the decay.Cache dry as a bone but could do with some more log paper.Persistence is the key to success here. Advise dousing in mosquito repellent before attempting this one, they were vicious!TFTC
Although today is a rainy day, I had a plan to get some caches on the way back from dropping MrTT to the Ekka. The rain dampened my spirits to get too many, but I did make some progress towards my Cosmic Quest Souvenir. This was hard to get it out of the belly of the beast, but cache is fine and in good condition and is now not quite so deeply embedded.
Making our way around the north of Brisbane picking up some target caches. This one wasnt on the list but when I saw its age we made a detour here. There was heaps of flood debris around but the cache was fine. Signed the log and replaced.Tftc bedmakerTGFind #5361
Yep certainly mozzie central! Quick find at gz. Interior of container haf some water but log is dry. Glad to get this cache on my way home. Went to get an earthcache at Pine Rivers park and thought I'd get something else whilst in thevicinity but two needed tree poles and the other was a climb I decided not to do whilst on my own! TFTC
We took today my muggle brother with us to go on a - mainly - fishing trip. He doesn't like boating, so we took the car.
This was a bonus today - it wasn't planned list, but we took the time to find this oldie!

My husband wanted to try and go bush bashing from the other side of the road….. I said no thanks haha my way was easier for sure! Tftc
Signed best buds
Nice quick find when you find the direct path down to it. If you’re thinking of bush bashing……DON’T, you can park and walk down a path to it
Oldest active cache we have found to date

bedmakerTG I found your cache Brendale #2 on 6/3/2023, 4:40 pm. This is my find 4817 and find # 12 today. A quick and easy find. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Having been traveling over the Xmas Break, The Green Geckos & I went on a targeted caching day. Our target were specific dates to finalise my qualification for the Ozzie Jasmer Challenge

Found it,
That’s a great little hiding spot.
When I went to sign the log it had so much history going back to 2015 which was great to see!!
Thanks!!

Making our way back to south Brisbane from up north, we took a detour and came to visit Brendale.
Given it was a public holiday, things were pretty quiet here as it is fairly industrial in this area.
It was a straight line walk into GZ, where we had a look around and spied a likely spot for a good hide, and there it was.
Thanks Bedmaker for keeping this oldie alive!

What an odd little spot! Thanks for the cache here. Trying to find 25 DT combos in one day.
Thank you so much!!! My first find with my niece and nephew. We have definitely found a new hobby to do together
Found the path in, and quickly located the GZ. Cache is in good order, signed log and replace for the next person to find. TFTC TFTH
This one was difficult for us to find as a couple of newbies, but we found it eventually. Watch out for the thorns!
My map indicated the path to nowhere so I had no issues getting to GZ… once there it was only a small battle to get to the cache… tftc…
I wasn't sure how to get to GZ, but found a path which lead directly there. After fighting my way through branches, I found the container out in the open, so after completing the paperwork, I placed it out of sight in an obvious place for a geocacher.
Thanks!!

6/5/21. All found Watch the prickles and a bit muddy at the minute. But an awesome. Find. Thanks
This evening after work, I needed to pick up my Jeep from having a service, and so I continued to drive north to Strathpine. I loosely followed *Pine Rivers War History* Adventure Lab whilst exploring the area. I subsequently went for a run around Pine Rivers Park, and met a few disc golfers along the way, whilst also following *Cook's Tour* Wherigo. A nice little area that I would be happy to return to in the future.
Whilst stopping nearby as part of the Adventure Lab, I decided to continue my drive through these suburbs to this location. As it was getting late in the workday, there weren't any other muggles around, which allowed me for a jog along the secret path to the creek with no questions being raised of my presence. There were quite a few sticks guarding this river side, but once I navigated those, I made the reasonably quick find of the cache. The cache was covered by ants, and although the cache container was in good shape, the logbook was full and is due for replacement. Thanks Bedmaker/bedmakerTG for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

We needed to pick something up near here, and sour_lemom said he had found this one so why don’t you try it? We got there and Sour_lemom said that gz was a bit different from when he was here almost a year ago. I battled through the fallen branches but managed to get through to find the cache. TFTC!
Swearah and I had attempted this one long ago and had t been able to find it (I’m not sure if we actually opened our eyes but still). Today we were in the area so we swung by for me to grab it. A quick find this time, TFTC!
It was easier to find the cache than the entrance point. In need of a new log & ziplock bag TFTC
Out for a few caches today with swearah. I was looking in the completely wrong area when swearah yelled out 'got it' Aha nice one. Tftc
I’d been here before and I think someone may have been living here so gave it a miss after a short search. Back here today with jodsta83 and made a fairly quick find this time. TFTC!
1Minniemoo and I set out on a mission, a few caches for her and a heap for me, trying to get some numbers up before the weekend. We spent the day filling in gaps on my map.
Nice quick find here, interesting location, not much point to a path way here but it makes a quiet cache spot.

Quick detour via Brendale to grab this one. Strange little path to nowhere but perfect location for a hide. TFTC
TFTC Left a traceable, took a traceable. The descent had me worried but got there in the end.
Out with the Geo daughter getting some time away from all the masculinity in the home nice little find thank you
Quick find on a dry more for Brisbane after such a lot of rain. Cache found in good condition

Found on a lovely day of caching thank you for placing this cache here for us to find
Sharpem and I were out collecting smilies and this was our first find today. We took a walk along this soggy path. So good to see rain. At gz I used my geo senses. Thanks for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
I have stopped to find this once before but found myself on the wrong side of the creek. As I was in the area today, I decided to have another go and made a quick find after a quiet stroll down a path to nowhere. Thanks for the cache
Wow - this area is seriously in need of a CITO. Ran into a super cute 3 legged dog on the path. Lovely sized cache for a kid. TFTC!
First treasure hunt for me and my boys, and we are hooked. TFTC took a thong and bat and left a car and a batman.
Well, u dont approach it from Kremzow Rd! ....It was nearly dark, & mozzies honing in; took an educated guess as to where it may b, & a quick find. T4TC
Found. Was in the wrong spot at first. Just a FYI. Don’t go here after rain. Really slippery and muddy and loooots of mozzies. TFTC
After attending the event this morning, our group of 7 went caching in the area. Interesting location in amongst the buildings. With everyone scratching around the cache was finally located. Logbook signed and cache then returned to its hide.
Found on 26 January 2019. TFTC, Bedmaker.

On completion of the 'Straya Day' Event a plan was hatched together with RoddyC, hatzofff, Imbunda, E_Smiley, Monchichi1, patrol14 and myself to collect several caches in the local area. Had to do a bit of ferreting around to find this one, good team effort.

After the Straylia Day event, our group of "Magnificent Seven Mark II" went venturing for some caches. Your cache, Bedmaker, is one of them.
Looking like a group of bush turkeys.
